Setup & Pairing

Dear community,Wanted to know if anyone has the solution to this problem where I can't pair my meta glasses to the new account, Meta AI wants me to factory reset via my previous account, to pair the glasses, but the previous account was hacked and they nuked the whole meta account via posting things that violated community standards on instagram, so I can't login to the old account to do this factory reset.Any ideas?  

I've received the below alert and now my Oakley Meta Glasses aren't connecting to my phone despite both my glasses and case being fully charged. Very very frustrating to not being able to use these. 

I a WiFi issue with the Oakley Vanguard and a Nothing CMF Phone 2. I cannot send videos and photos to my phone via WiFi it will not work. I've tried everything. Turning off randomised Mac, resetting phone and glasses, updating all WiFi settings and even clearing my WiFi and Bluetooth history and removing cache from phone and app. Please help this has basically made the glasses worthless to me as I brought for videos.

I’ve just bought a pair of Oakley Meta Vanguard and having the same issue as others have listed. Have reset glasses, deleted app multiple times, paired and repaired. All of that listed below. Still can’t progress pass WiFi as the App picks up 20+ other networks except my own. Nil issues with wifi on any other device. Bluetooth music is fine, worksAdvise fix

My Oakley hstn don’t stop blinking the white led , and don’t pairing, I do de reset but is still the same 

i bought my glasses from bestbuy last night and straight out the box the blue light that appears after holding the back button for 5-8 seconds is not appearing at all. ive charged it over night and it continues to not pair to my iphone. i have tried to hold the button on the right and turn the glasses off/on and i see a steady red light for some time then a blinking white light but nothing after that. is there a solution to this problem or should i go back and exchange the glasses?

De un momento a otro perdí la conexión, elimine las gafas para volver a emparejar y nunca más pude, elimine la app, reinicie las gafas, reinicie el Teléfono, iOS actualizado y app también, elimine conexión Bluetooth, al solicitar emparejar de nuevo pide permiso de emparejamiento y autorizo, se conecta Bluetooth y al final dice que no se pudieron emparejar. 

Bonjour j’ai acheté une paire de lunettes Meta oakley vangard  et j’ai un souci avecAprès que le l’espace de stockage était saturé , je n’arrivais à libérer de l’espace même en supprimant des photos et vidéos sur l’appli Meta ai , du coup je ne pouvais plus prendre de photos ni de vidéosJ’ai alors décidé de dépareillé mes lunettes et j’ai fait aussi oublié l’appareil de mes réglages BluetoothJ’ai essayé de pareillé à nouveau mes lunettes avec mon tel via l’appli mais ça ne marche plus même quand l’étui clignote en plus b impossible de les pareiller même si les lunettes sont allumés , n’a essayé de les redémarrer en forçant en appuyant plus de 10 secondes sur le bouton allimer de la branche gauche mais sans sucres , elles clignotent souvent en plus en continuMerci de m’aider au plus vite svp car j’ai acheté ces lunettes spécialement pour les vacances en république dominicaine et je ne plus les utiliser actuellementMerci 

I’m unable to connect my Vanguard glasses via Meta AI to Garmin as well as Strava. When I try to connect them, I end up on a blank page and nothing happens. What can I do?

I bought my Rayban Meta Gen 2 a couple days, I saw the configurations and never appear the option to get the “live translation”. I’m living in Panama. Exist some zone restriction/ regulations? why can’t live the real experiences of meta?

Hi there I bought Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses to link them into Edge 1040 bike computer.I use Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra on Android  v16 (most up to date). I have installed latest Garmin Connect v 5.21 and latest Garmin Connect IQ v2.43 from Play Store. My Edge device is connected to Garmin Connect which is visible on attached screen. However when I go to Meta Ai app also latest version 259.0.0.11.165 from Play store it doesn't show Garmin Connect on list of applications. I can only link Meta AI app with Spotify , Whatsup, etc.. all is fine but Garmin app is not showing. How to fix this?  - I already reinstalled all 3 apps (both Garmin and Meta) but nothing has changed, Garmin is not showing in Connected Apps.

I have a Meta Ray Band Gen2 and purchased a new phone Moto Razr Ultra 2025. I have been trying to login to set up the glasses. I can receive the code or enter password but once the app goes to save the password / login it endless loads (spins). I have tried several fixes to make this work without luck. This includes but was not limited to clearing cash, clearing storage, rebooting phone, updating app, uninstalling and reinstalling app, setting up a new account, checking WIFI connection.

Yesterday I started using my Ray-Ban Meta glasses.1. At first, I’m able to make calls using the “Hey Meta” voice commands, but after a few hours Meta responds with: “I don’t have access to your contacts.” I can fix the issue only temporarily by turning off the glasses or unpairing them and setting everything up again from scratch in the app. Has anyone managed to solve this problem?2. I’ve tried in every possible way to get the charging status of the case to appear in the app, but without success. Can anyone help me?   

I’m reaching out to request an integration between the Meta Oakley Vanguard sunglasses and the Hammerhead Karoo bike computer. According to Hammerhead’s support, the Karoo currently connects with Garmin and Strava, but not Meta devices, because Meta would need to initiate a partnership and develop a Hammerhead extension app (similar to Garmin IQ). Many cyclists like myself use both the Karoo and Meta smart eyewear, and a native integration would be extremely valuable — for example, to display ride metrics, navigation, or notifications seamlessly. Could you please share whether Meta has any plans to support Karoo integration, or if there’s a way for users to request this feature more formally? Thank you for considering this — it would be an exciting addition for the cycling community. Best regards,Fritz Bode

Will there be support in the Meta AI app on Garmin Connect for the Forerunner 955?  I see there is currently support for the Forerunner 965, which is a very similar device.  

I just open my new Oakley hstn download app but on list of available glasses I just don’t have option to connect my model. I try to connect my model but choosing other from list but it’s not work. My case fully charged. I just download app so it’s last version. Idk what an issue and how resolve it … 

I don't like draining the battery when I'm not using my Ray-Ban meta gen 2, at night I turn the glasses off and shutdown the meta app. In the morning when I'm ready to use them should I start the app first then pair the glasses to the phone? Newby here only day 3. Reason I ask is somewhere when starting the glasses I could connect to Bluetooth but the app didn't get the connection. I had to start over and reset the glasses, uninstall app then install the app. It was pretty frustrating, just want a simple start up.

And Meta Support is trash... wasted 20 minutes of my time without offering any solutions.What do I do with these useless glasses now?!

After working fine all day Meta AI threw a wobbly and disconnected from my iphone (17 Pro) and wouldn’t re pair with it. I tried telling my iPhone to forget them and deleted the meta app… then reinstalled the app and started again…. (several times I may add)…..but although my iPhone‘s bluetooth says connected. the meta app is living in it’s own altered reality state and refuses to pair still…. I tried a factory reset on the glasses and I cannot get the factory reset light to come on on them after doing the five clicks on the capture button, although a factory reset of the case itself worked ok….so what next please??

Hi there, I recently bought a pair of the Meta Raybans Wayfarer Gen 1s. Now, I’m at the stage where I can connect my Instagram and WhatsApp to receive notifications. When I try to add my cellular number, the calling function works, but the messaging doesn’t. I’ve enabled the Bluetooth settings that are required, but it keeps looping the same screen, asking me to enable those settings. Can you please help me with this issue?

My Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 sunglasses have a problem. They no longer connect when I put them on my nose. However, when I place them on a table, they connect and turn on, but not when I'm wearing them. I've recently updated my phone. If you can help me, please.

Any idea when we are getting the Meta Display in Canada?
