Hello everyone.   I received the Meta Quest 3 headset on October 12th. Launched, updated the software. And I started playing games while connected via Oculus Link to my laptop. On October 12, 13, everything was just great. Half Life Alyx has a fantastic level of graphics, a stable frame rate, there was not a single glitch. This morning I picked up the helmet again and noticed that the image quality had become terrible. Even in the lobby menu, it's terrible. There is no clarity of the image, the effect of a ladder and ripples is especially noticeable on the lines. I launched the same Half Life ALyx, and it was a terrible soap. Worse than in Quest 2. Also, while playing Blade and Sorcery, I noticed that the frame rate dropped. Although in the settings it is worth "raising the frame rate to 120 so that where possible".   Changing the settings of the frame rate, screen resolution in the Meta-application did not give results. Hi,I’m trying to regain access to my Meta account that was originally created as an Oculus account years ago as I’m considering upgrading from my original quest 1 to a quest 3. I believe the account was successfully migrated because I still receive Meta emails to the same address.When I try to log in at auth.meta.com, I get a “Validation error – code validation has failed” message before the SMS code is even sent. I can’t proceed past this step, so I can’t log in to reset my settings or disable two-factor authentication.Things I’ve already tried:Logging in from multiple devices and browsers (Safari, Chrome, PC, and mobile)Using both Wi-Fi and mobile dataAttempting password reset (I do receive Meta emails)Visiting the recovery and reset pages (auth.meta.com/recover, auth.meta.com/reset-password)Unfortunately, I can’t submit a normal support ticket because it either asks me to log in or enter a headset serial number, and my Quest 1 serial number isn’t recognised in the current form.I own

The floor level and room scanning used to work fine.  Not sure if the latest OS update v79 (system says it's the latest, and cannot update to 81) broke something.  I erased all history and tried to set floor level, which is too high even with the lowest setting using controller stick.  I also tried placing the controller on the floor and the "drawn" controller just appears above the floor disconnected from the physical controller lying on the floor.I don't know if this is related to trying to redraw room boundaries, as trying to redraw the boundaries is completely off now.  It used to work very well.  Is something broken with the software, or has my unit gone defective?

I'm having a problem that I don't know if it's a defect or normal, when I leave the oculus on standby for a long time, like from Monday to Friday, it drops from 100% to about 50% for exemple, but when I pick them up on Friday and put them on my face and look at the battery, I see the battery jumping from 50 to 43, then to 39, then 34, 27 and it keeps jumping until it stabilizes at a low number like 23, then it goes slowly, 22, 21, 20... etc, is this normal?

My quest pro and link app were working fine until I reinstalled windows and now it won't work, either wirelessly or by link cable. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and turning everything off and on multiple times. The app sees the headset and the headset gives me the option to enable the link but once I do I just get an endless bleu screen with 3 dots. 

Hi, we have notification, that gorilla tag does not comply with some of our standards, it may be restricted until further notice. What´s the problem? Can we solve that problem ourselve?

I have everything brand new: powerful laptop Lenovo Legion, Meta Quest 3 helmet, brand cable and downloaded this Meta Horizon app. After installation it froze at the page with avatars and does not move. Tried all the tricks with no results. On my old laptop Lenovo Yoga I got it working using touch screen. But the old one is outdated. What other ways can I try? The ultimate goal is to use Microsoft Flight Simulation.

Just bought Quest 3 and it look very low res, the menu corners are pixelated and sometimes blurryeverything seems pixelated. give me an impression of a PS1 console I hadeven the vr virtual environment looks like a 480p youtube video quality.is it expected or something wrong with my headset

I've tried now for last week or so to verify my age. As meta keeps asking me too. And says it don't my account could be blocked and loose games I've bought. Every time click link in email just goes to white screen. How do I verify my age? And think it ridiculous you just can't ring someone for support!

Please try again.”The problem is that the code is never sent — the error appears before any SMS is even delivered.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Double-checked that my phone number is correct and includes the international prefix (+39 for Italy).Tried both the Meta mobile app and a desktop browser.Cleared cache and cookies, disabled VPN and browser extensions.I tested the same phone number with a different Meta account, and SMS codes arrive without any issue.So the problem seems to be linked to my main account, not the phone or carrier.Has anyone experienced this before?Is there any known solution or way to contact Meta support for this type of account-specific verification error?Thanks a lot for your help!

encountered a problem where the bootloader on my Quest 3 became damaged and unusable. It's now completely unsigned and won't even allow the system to boot. I'm begging the Meta developers to create an executable module that, when connected via ADB, would allow for updating not only the system but also the bootloader itself. This will help many people experiencing gray screens and other issues. And they won't have to replace the devices that are experiencing the problem; instead, they'll be able to resolve it themselves, with the help of tech support!

Yesterday morning, I picked up my headset and put it on my head to see that my controllers were updating after the update my left controller would start losing tracking and overheating and then shutting off. It does this every 10 minutes, and I'm not sure how to fix it anyone have any solutions?

Every single time I press the meta button the menu won't open and it restarted it 7 times and it won't work 

I can't download apps, they start then stop alone. I still have 400g free and i already factory reset my quest 3. Im trying to speak with a agent and every way i tried I can't i really need help and im very mad. Someone help me reach them please.

Hello!The buttons on both controllers have stopped responding when I'm in games. However, they work perfectly in the home menu, settings, browser, and other non-game areas (e.g., navigating menus or the store). Re-pairing controllers and factory reset did not fix the issue.Any advice?P.S. Yes, it's v.81.

Today I fired up my Quest 3 and was "treated" to a controller update for both my Quest 3 controllers. After this happened the trigger and grip buttons on the right controller stopped working at all. Every other button works fine as does the joystick. Here are things I've tried that did NOT work:Replacing the battery (it registers as 100% but the grip and triggers still do not work)Cleaning the controllerRe-pairing in the options menuRe-pairing in the iOS appController factory reset (hold B + Meta button for 10 seconds - it reset but the two buttons do not work)Restarting the headset (it told me it was updating, which it always does; not sure I believe it, and when it rebooted the issue persisted)Remapping the A and B buttons to the trigger and grip in the Settings. This did not work at all. It's like the right controller not only refuses to accept inputs from its grip and trigger, but it has no concept at all of these two buttons. Hi everyone,I wanted to share an issue I'm experiencing with my controllers after the latest update to my headset, as I understand many others are facing the same problem.First of all, I've tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by Meta Store Support, including:Ensuring my play area is free from reflective surfaces and light interference.Cleaning the tracking cameras.Removing third-party accessories.Re-pairing the controllers to the headset.Replacing the batteries (even though they were at 60%).Despite these efforts, the issue persists. My controllers work fine in the menus but are completely unresponsive in games. I can only use the Oculus button to exit to the main menu, but navigating or controlling within games is impossible.This problem started today after I installed the recent update. I used the headset yesterday without any issues, but after turning it off and on again today, the controllers no longer work as expected in games.This seems to be a widespread issue caused b

I have a problem with some apps where I get a black corner whenever I try to take a picture or record a video from the gameplay. I've tried changing eyes for reference, different aspect ratios and settings combinations; I even factory reset the Headset several times and nothing happens. Does anybody knows how to fix this issue? It's driving me crazy... 

So i just bpught the meta quest 3s, well 2 of them and they both are supposed to come with batman but neither of them have a code inside the box or on the reciept. Can someone walk me through how to do this please?

Hello, as the title states, my quest 3 is stuck in USB update mode, with none of the suggestions online working to restore any functionality whatsoever.Quest has been working fine up until today (I primarily use it when racing in VR).I am on a work trip and figured I'd bring just the quest, so I had something to do in the hotel.  Well, now I don't.RMA seems to be the only option?
