Another title might be:Stuck on "choose profile" screen as my controllers are not recognized, after changing the batteries. update: it seems like after the last step I did to troubleshoot below where the latest software was updated onto my Meta 3, something changed with the functionality of being able to put tape over the sensor above the lenses, like between the eyebrows. I did this to keep the headset on particularly when I was putting it on and off my elderly parents when I could not cast, to assist them with their experience more quickly. This still works on my other M3 that has not had the newest software update pushed yet. Also, for what it's worth, I have a new pair of really chunky eyeglasses and when I put those on they also blocked the sensor in the same way the tape had, and I got the backlit gray screen. I really hope my rabbit hole helps somebody! meta, I implore you to please leave this post just in case it does. & for what it's worth, when I did successfull

I'm a new Guest user, and while setting up a Wi-Fi address, my headset went blank and now won't load past the logo. There's sound. Please help.

I haven’t played on my oculus quest 3 for about 3 weeks i went to go and try it out and my controllers didn’t turn on, i replaced the batteries multiple times to no avail, then when my quest died i went to charge it, nothing, ive replaced the plug, switched plug sockets, switched the power cable and still it won’t charge. if theres any advice you have please let me know so i can try it

When trying to make sure Gorilla Tag backs up to Cloud Backup, I get an error indicating the backup was too large to upload.  The headset has over 50% free space and is up to date.  The cloud backup app listing indicates the last backup date for this game was 2 months ago.  How do I fix this without factory resetting, which will likely cause me to lose progress and cosmetics?

How can I switch my pointer in my Meta Quest 3 from left hand to my right handed controller? 

Okay so everytime I power on or turn on my headset it just stays as a gray screen I tried rebooting factory resetting it hard reset nothing if there's something that has to do with the headset please inform me I need help immediately.

When are they going to fix the window handling on Horizon OS and let us place windows how we want? v81 now lets us have up to 12 windows open, but we still cannot properly place the windows in the orientation we want. Being forced to use windows that auto-tilt is a joke. We should be able to adjust the windows however we want.On top of that, why can we only grab windows by some hidden spot a cm past the edge of the window? It is awkward as hell. The controllers have grab buttons, just let us point anywhere on the window and use the grab button.

I just got the Meta Quest Pro controllers for my Quest 3 and the firmware update has been stuck at 0% for about 30 minutes. I have tried restarting my headset, clearing up storage space, restarting the controllers, and unpairing and attempting the update through the Meta Quest mobile app. This issue happens on both v79 and v81. Has anyone else experienced this or has suggestions to get the update to start? Thanks in advance.

once you buy a game with store credit you should have the option to refund it to your default card on the meta quest just incase some one bought the game without your permission 

Hellos friend in the US told me about the ‘community’ tab in the Chat section of the Meta Horizon mobile app. I don’t have it. I am in the UK. my app is up to date, I have an iPhone. any suggestions?thank you

Out of nowhere my Quest 3 stopped letting me resize 2D windows for off-platform apps (sideloaded/unknown sources). Examples affected: Microsoft 365, AnyDesk, Firefox. Windows are stuck at a fixed size and no resize handle appears on edges or corners. Because of this I can’t use remote-access or productivity tools in a readable size, which makes the headset useless for my use case.

I didn't know if I'd have the courage to make it through a vr horror game. But I'm happy to report that my boxers are intact after propagation paradise hotel.Still not going into resident evil village though. That part with the giant baby and the mannequins that only move when you're not looking was terrifying in non vr. Not trying that in vr lol.

Hey there,i got my new pc last week (9070xt, 9800x3d, 64GB Ram) and now I'm looking for the next step.I used my PSVR1 fairly often, but can't quite get it to work on pc. And since it's pretty outdated anyways, I want to get a good new VR Headset for my pc.I want to play games with it and watch movies (I really want to experience Dune again on a big screen) but I'm completely overwhelmed by the mass of different brands.My price range would be 400€, but if it would bring the while tuing on another level, 500€ would be okay, too. Headset plus controllers would be needed.I don't need to run around since I don't even have the space for it.-400€ (500€ if needed) -primarily gaming -no roomtracking -I'm wearing glasses -located in GermanyI also wouldn't mind to get a used headset.Thanks for the help

A few months ago my little brother (13) got a Quest 3 for his birthday and only used it 3 times since he got it so he said I could have it. I am an adult and when I tried to get games I would like to play I couldn't download them due to the content maturity rating being to high (the games being M rated). I haven't had much luck looking it up but is there any way to update the accounts age or no. When he got the headset my brother bought a couple games with money like Beat Saber and stuff so I don't want to just make a new account and have to buy them again. Thanks

Hi there. Like a lot of Quest 3 users on this forum and on Reddit, I too have problems with my Quest 3 disconnecting from the wifi every 15 to 20 minutes or so. I was hoping that the last three firmware updates would help. Meta had said that v67 has helped with this, but I'm still disconnecting. It's really frustrating when playing a game or while on the Bigscreen app.I've tried everything in addition to the new firmware updates - I've changed between ipv4 and ipv6 on my router, and I've erased the Quest OS and reinstalled everything multiple times. I've also rebooted my CenturyLink modem/router a couple of times. Nothing works.Is there anyone - including Meta support - that has any ideas on what to do now? Or is it possible that my headset is faulty and needs to be exchanged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was out of town when I bought a quest 2 for my kid to play on and ex wife set it up for him when I get back to town I bought games and packs for it under her account with my card if I factory reset I lose everything I paid for and have to rebuy it all this is a paperweight in my eyes and to screw people out of money they already spent is there a way to add my account on it with out her and right now it asks to login info her account and nothing else without losing everything I paid for the support on here sucks since there is no number to call for help or any info to help resolve the issue ps she will not go on here account to add my account to it she’s mad about the divorce since she screwed up

My Oculus 3S shows a black screen after displaying the spinning logo and flashing a picture of the pass through for about 2 seconds. I took it a repair shop and paid $75 for them to tell me to contact meta because they couldn't fix it. I have attempted to factory reset several times, as well as do a sideload update without success. Today I got a message that said "this device is corrupt and cannot be trusted." This is the first time I have seen this screen. I cannot find any information about how to fix this on google or the oculus troubleshooting page. I tried to contact meta support, but it says it cannot find the serial number or my email associated with my account, which I'm not sure how is possible as it was working just fine before. I'm at a loss as what to do. There is no way to contact meta to get any assistance with this issue and the troubleshooting information is no help. Would love to know: How do I fix a corrupt device?Why is it saying it cannot find my seri

Can anyone recommend ways to get more into VR? Maybe some games which are game changers and wow factors, whether they are native or flat2vr. I own a very good system paired with the Quest 3, but never find the urge to actually play! I'm finding that I'm more satisfied watching UEVR videos on YouTube that actually playing myself...

Good evening, everyone! I was quietly playing on my VR when I recently noticed that when I try to raise and lower the right bar on my Quest 3S (the one that contains the speakers and holds the headband), it creaks (I mean the back part). I'm a little worried about this, and I don't want my Quest 3S to break, so I want to be 100% sure that this is completely normal.
