Hi! I previously owned a Quest 3S and sold it. I now use a Quest 3 with the same Meta account. However, my profile still shows the 3S and I keep seeing a banner like “because of your Quest 3S purchase, 3 months free…”. I don’t see any option to remove the old 3S from my account.What’s the correct way to unlink the old headset and make sure the offers/subscriptions are applied to my Quest 3?Things I’ve tried: signing out/in, pairing the Quest 3 again.  Region: US. iPhone app user.  Thanks!

bought a brand new quest 3 from best buy today, tried booting it up for the first time and its been stuck on the initial loading screen for an hour. tried rebooting, factory resetting, and i can't sideload a update because it technically hasn't booted for the first time. im guessing i try to return it?

Hi! Ive been removed from the ptc program, I know it's my fault for resetting but I had no choice, I was stuck on a no command screen and a screen that said "your files may be currupt, please click try again, if it keeps putting you on this screen please factory reset."

i have recently started playing with my quest 2 and trying to connect it to my gaming lap top:acer nitro v 15 ryzen 7000 geforce rtx 4060.every time i try to connect to the laptop for the desktop it says that my pc isn't compatible but my lap top meets or exceeds every spec requirement?not sure if i need to work around the issue by digging into the setting in vr or the settings on the laptop or maybe there is just something wrong with the code that needs to be adjusted or fixed. any suggestons?

Can anyone help?  I turn on my headset, gets the intro logo then it  goes dark. I can cast but it’s all dark. My controllers are vibrating about every five seconds as well. I tried restarting, factory reset, changing batteries, unpairing and repairing. Still nothing

Please consider the option to add an alternate/second parental profile option under a meta account to help manage supervised child accounts. If you own one headset, it only allows my husband to have his own profile but not able to help supervise or approve purchases/requests. Most other apps with similar monitoring allow this. There are many times one of us is not available and it would be nice to give that permission to another responsible adult to help manage.

When I turn my quest 3 on my screen freezes and I can’t do anything I tried restarting it but it didn’t work

Hello yesterday I bought myself a meta quest 3 and have been unable to login to my old VR account. It forced me to login with Facebook and then said my email was unavailable. After this I tried to contact support by opening a ticket but it required me to input my device serial number. My serial number will not show as being valid, and no device is showing up on my profile on the meta website. I am completely unable to get in contact with meta support because they keep saying I don't own a device.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place, but I have a suggestion to improve user experience for those who use link cable to play on PC.It happens to me that if I'm playing on PC with a link cable and at the same time y charge my Quest 3, I randomly get an error message that says there is liquid or debris on the usb port and charging is disabled. This messages blocks your view and does not auto hide, so if you are playing some online game it will completely ruin you game and potentially other players to.I'm aware that this could be related to using 3 party cables and I understand Meta does not want to support them or dedicate resources to this issue as it's not directly related to their hardware.But, you can improve user experince A LOT if you make this message smaller and automatically hide it after a few seconds. Just do it the same way as the low battery message. It appears at the bottom of the view and lasts just a few seconds.Doing it this way it won't ruin our games..

My child has a brand new Meta Quest 3S. We set up the parent account and the child account for him with all the parental controls, but didn't realize when he started using the headset that only my parent profile loaded onto it. So he's been playing all this week as me (therefore with no parental controls in place), and last night he purchased $150 worth of stuff on Gorilla Tag on my visa. I since figured out how to put his child profile on the headset and have my parent profile locked with a pin.But now all the stuff he bought on Gorilla Tag is on my profile that he can't access anymore. Can I transfer all the items and shiny rocks to him?

Hey my meta 3 headset was stuck on “determining your location in room” and rebooting didn’t solve the issue so I did a factory reset and when it came back on it showed a dead robot with the words “no command” under it any thoughts?

I've been playing with friends in Meta World, but recently, when recording with the camera app, only my own voice comes through—nothing else is picked up.I used to enjoy uploading these recordings to YouTube, but now my friends' voices and sound effects aren't being captured, which is frustrating. My friends are experiencing the same issue.Is there any way to fix this?

When I try to open my Meta Horizon App it will open and then immediately switch to a screen with a retry button. Hitting retry doesn’t do anything. I have tried everything google advised to. I have switched from WiFi to Cellular. Cleared cache and data. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Checked for updates. After reinstalling it lets me in for about 40 seconds before it immediately switches back to the retry button screen. I checked the website for server status which says up and functioning. Tried all of these steps on my iPhone, my son’s android and my husbands android to have the same problem. Is anyone else having this issue? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? 

Hi,I recently got my quest 3.When I was setting everythink up I saw that there are only 5 apps you can pin, but you can unpin only two of them. Horizon news, meta store and people apps can't be unpin.There is no way they give us option to remove only two of five appsSo my question is: How to unpin them? 

Hello support team and other quest 3 users!Background story: I have owned my quest 3 for probably a year and more now, I'm using BOBOVR2 with a fancy extended battery strap, and I always used it every time I use the Quest 3 because it extends the battery by a large amount. I barely charge my Quest 3 because I rarely got it to 0% while using it because of the extended battery (sometimes probably 40% if the battery died). Last night, it is the first time in probably months that the Quest 3 reaches 0% battery and shuts down (It happened because i didn't plug my battery extension).SO what I did is, I charged it with a 67 W charger (which I always used). I waited for almost 4 hours and suddenly, the LED light changed from "charging mode" (orange) to "low battery mode" (flashing red), WHILE charger is plugged in. I checked the battery status by pressing the power button and it shows a empty battery with a charge indicator on it (which is 0%). Not knowing what to do after searching a lot of f

I traded in my old headset meta quest 2 that was under warranty and got a 3s but my account still says I’m using the quest 2 so I’m not able to pair my 3s correctly.          In my account it shows that I have the quest 2 but I have no access to that headset anymore.  How do I get that off my account and be able to use my new one 

Just got a new meta quest 3s & I am able to connect and play some games, such as job simulator, but on other games like first encounter & gorilla tag, I am unable to get past the first screen, as it seems like the controllers won’t register, it shows me pushing the button, but doesn’t work. I have tried everything from factory resetting them, to changing the boundaries, to making sure I had good enough lighting, I’ve also changed the batteries and unpaired and paired them again.. open to any suggestions.. thanks in advance. 

I was wondering if any vr devs here have tried making a game based on a quiet place, just curious because my partner thought it would be a cool idea after watching the movie. I couldn't find anything online about any quiet place vr games or any games like that. so I thought I'd ask the one pplace know ill get some real answers.

I have just got an old DK2 headset to try and setup on my Windows 11 PC for Aces high flightsim.I followed  a setup guide to allow other devices access using the Meta Quest Link software and it all seems to work in that I can see a gray field but it says sensor not connected! Im assuming thats the Positional Tracker sensor which is connected but has not light on it. So I tried to setup the tracker in the Link software and got to the screen that shows three cables (HDMI, USB3 and USB2) but the small circles just keep circling and nothing happens. What have I done wrong? can this be fixed? 

Microsoft killed off support for their Windows Mixed Reality family of VR headsets (made by Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo and Dell) in Windows 11 update 24H2. Even before that, the WMR software was rather poor quality. A developer has recently released Oasis, a free driver for all WMR headsets that bypasses the Microsoft software. It's implemented as a native SteamVR driver. I tried it with my HP Reverb G2, it works really well. Full headset and controller tracking, audio, everything. AMD has abandoned their LiquidVR Direct Mode driver and won't fix it to allow Oasis to access the headset. Hello, Unfortunately, the left earphone on my Oculus Rift has just started cutting out. Apparently, it's a very common problem, enough so that the original developer has provided repair kits to fix the issue. However, before I go down that route, I want to make sure it isn't something simpler. Because it's an old device, I'm having trouble finding where to go to get support for it. It's not even listed in devices. Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction?Thank you!
