 Hi there. I would like to report about the so often inconvenient power system in the oculus quest 2 (something that with software updates varies from time to time). This is a reflection based on 3 years of experience and I want to stress it because it affects directly users and makes VR more inconveniet yet.I have 2 headsets, one since 3 years ago, I use them a lot... I remember my mother  complaining years ago ("...everytime I want to use it, there is no battery!")When you want it to power off this happens:1- If you want to power off selecting the option in the screen menu the device 99% of the times tells you there's an update and you need to plug it. (?) (This is inconvenient if you wish to storage them right away). Worse is that too many times after the update they swith on by themselves or they don't swith off as they should, not sure but the result is that you have no battery left when you reach to the headset.2-Since about a year ago you an option for "cancel and turn

Have tried all the trouble shooting and won’t turn on. No light for power. 3 days old and was working fine the last 3 days. 

In Music Valley, the quest to watch a concert in immersive view won’t complete.  I’ve watched a full concert stream from start to finish, standing in the 3-d area.  I’ve tried multiple times and it isn’t working.  Am I missing something?

I've tried to update my meta to th newseted one but it doesn't let me and also I can't join or start meta calls as it says error and kicks me off the call after I try I got it worked yesterday somehow but I can't replicate it someone please help

When I tried to charge my oculus it shows the meta logo and when it starts, it immediately turns off without me doing anything. Then, it turns back on and keeps doing the loop over and over again. When I take off the charger. It just magically dies. I tried to factory reset the oculus and it only goes black for a few seconds and continues the loop.

Hello,I recently moved and have tons of space to set up my VR. I installed all the up to date drivers for according to my NIVIDIA App on my PC. I installed Meta Quest Link and I am currently trying to do the initial set up where you pair your remotes and headset to the app and draw the floor space. When I open Meta Quest Link it just stays as a black screen and my headset display has black floor, white sky, and 3 circles that just blink in the middle. I have audio from my headset as well. I am not sure what to do, as I am unaware of what is the underlining cause to my issue I am experiencing. I have attached a screen shot of what loads up on my PC: If anyone else has had this issue with your Rift S and the Meta Quest Link, please feel free to drop some suggestions. Hi, I click the link menu and it now shows its searching straight away the popup is new and usually it show my racing rig but now just searches and never finds it. I can connect over Wi-Fi but that does not work fast enough to race.I've tried different cables, ports and even my laptop also. Unplugging either end of either cable from either PC makes a sound on the headset so USB is I assume from that connecting. there was another update today 1/7/25 I was hoping would fix for tonight's league race but exactly the same issue. Anyone got any ideas or is there an issue that is awaiting a fix?Col

My quest three was blowing air until I looked up some forum to help but unfortunately they weren’t working. I tried to hard reboot but nothing popped up on my screen when I did. Can somebody help me with this please!

Has anyone purchased a Gorilla Tag meta gift card in the USA and been able to use it in Canada? Or is it region locked? We are visiting the states and I would like to purchase one to use back home. 

Hey everyone. I am new to the Meta Quest 3s. I had a 3 but thought it was busted. I ended up getting the 3s for free and wanted to try VR again. I followed all the instructions to set it up. When I went to launch a game on my PC (Phasmophobia) , it would launch on my desktop and in my headset I will see the purple/orange grid back ground and it will say the game name and the words "Next up" under it. I have a Ryzen 7 5700X,32 GB of RAM, and an RTX 2080. My specs are decent enough to run a lot of games. I have tried to mess with settings, force the game to launch in VR, even uninstall any VR stuff, and reinstall. I would do my windows, but I don't think that would solve anything. I am using AirLink as well. On my old headset, I had a cable too. Never worked. I know it's got to be something with my computer. If there is anything anyone can do to help me, that would be great. Hi All,I'm trying to start my meta quest+ subscription, which requires payment method to be added to horizon account. I've tried adding multiple credit cards and a paypal account, but none of it is working with "error while adding your payment method". I believe quest cash doesn't work in my geography.Could someone please suggest how can I payment details to start quest+ subscription? Thanks in advance!

So, whenever I record, either using controllers, or going in the meta quest thingy to record, it doesn’t include the “include mic audio” feature, but it still record my mic. The only problem is, when I record I don’t hear the game’s audio. Only the sound of my voice, there could be a loud jump-scare, a kid saying racist things, nothing. Only my voice. It only records the games audio when the game has its own camera, like how gorilla tag has a camera inside the game itself. Can someone help me? (Meta-quest 3s btw if that’s necessary)

I have a new Quest 3 and am stuck at the "Pair your headset with the META Horizon app to continue. I can't us the mobile app as I don't own a phone. I cannot get to the settings menu, I push the button, get the meta logo for a sec then nothing.

I run VR mainly for sim racing, my pc can run VR with the sim at a solid 120 fps and I have zero issues yet sometimes I'll get a total screen freeze and lock up for a second or two before everything goes back to normal, its been happening ever since I had my Quest 2 (currently have a Quest 3) and as you can imagine its completely game breaking.I've spent so long trying to figure out the cause and recently learnt to use event manager, I've just had another small screen freeze playing a different game and when I went to the event manager I'm getting spammed the message ... 'Session "OculusVadApoEventTrace" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035'   My Quest isn't plugged in or turned on.How do I fix this?

the game only downloads 300mb i click into the game i get stuck waiting in the loading screen i use meta quest 2 does anyone know my problem 

Hello there! I have an issue with the unknown sources on my headset. I have a Quest 3s that is enrolled in the Public Test Channel (PTC), and almost every time I update/restart my headset, the "Unknown Sources" tab disappears in the Navigator UI. I already know how to make my unknown sources re-appear, but it gets quite annoying when I have to do it every time I restart. Is this just a standard bug that comes with all PTC updates, or is it fixable?

We had a instagram page by the name gogoa, which has been abruptly suspended. We are unable to restore the same. It had about 8K followers. If there is anyone who can help us to restore the account, will be highly appreciated

I need help figuring out why I'm having unauthorized payments to oculus Menlo Park CA I have no subscriptions within my Oculus Rift yet I am paying $30.73 Every month starting from December 30th all the way up to May 30th I do not know why I am getting these payments charged on my credit card I believe there are some form of subscription that I cannot find on my oculus itself or on the actual website but with them always being $30.73 That sounds like a payment to subscription but here's the thing when I look at my billing within my credit card statements it would say oculus then a whole string of letters and a few numbers they all end with D2 and then it would say Menlo Park I have tried to look up information and the closest thing I can find Is that I maybe being charged by Facebook in the total of a $184.38 I do not know what to do i've even tried to talk to my card people and they will not give me anything to help me figure out why I am being charged for all this I've even told them

Hi! I've been trying to use my air link recently and something weird came up.Lately, when I connect to my pc through an air link over my wifi, the ping often skyrockets and the screen wobbles and this happens consistently. I also experience frequent lag issues. I figured that this was just poor wifi so I stopped using my link for a while.I decided today to try and use it again. I initially encountered major lag issues. When I tried to connect the link, the display in quick settings listed my pc successfully and would display the message "Wifi strength: medium". I attempted to use a link cable, and when this happened I was met with a glitchy connection notification, and then when enabled, a black screen with nothing but the meta logo and lots of shakyness. Of course, I unplugged the cable and disabled the link.I then tried air link again. However, now the air link displays "Ethernet connection: none" and every time I try to connect to my PC I get a wobbly black screen and that's it, if

Since I switched from Quest2 to Quest3S, the sound quality of my microphone has worsened when streaming VRChat using Virtual Desktop. My friends tell me that my voice sounds distorted and unclear, which was not an issue on Quest2. I also tried streaming with Steam Link, which had a slight improvement in audio quality compared to Virtual Desktop, but the sound quality is still poor. Today, I will try using Air Link. It seems that only the audio quality in VRChat is very poor; the microphone quality is normal during screen recording. Is this a system issue or a bug in the VRChat game?

I have been doing everything I can think of to make this work.  Most recently I did a deep uninstall using RevoUninstall of the Oculus program (which includes all registry entries) and re installed a clean copy.  I used the NVidia developer clean up tool and then re installed the latest driver.  I may have paired it wirelessly using the headset internal software, but it sees the computer name, but does not apparently connect with it.  Now I get a screen with personality icons, which I can isolate with the mouse, but it does not select it or move off of that screen, the same sort of problem as with the connection screen which I have provided to you.  Previously I got to the connect screen with the wireless or direct link boxes.  Nothing happened with either box was selected and highlighted.  The system just stayed on the same screen.  Again, everything suggested by store support was tried to no avail.
