I was thinking of buying something like an oculus rift or meta quest 2 second hand, I’m not trying to play some crazy games just the basics, gorn, super hot, etc. would they still be worth it or would they age out quickly ? Thanks

Why every time I see someone ask a question on here, you'll see a developer or moderator say "Sure I'll be able to help you, just send me a private message and we can get this situated"..like Why not just answer the dang question in the forum instead of typing all that about sending a private message and doing it thru there where no one else with the same problem can see what the solution is!?!?! UGGHHH

My company has a Meta Bussiness account from where they manage their Business WhatsApp number. For some project, I got the invitation to the company's account on my work email-id. So, I created a new Facebook account with my work email-id in order to accept the invite to the Company's Business account.I was able to explore the company's account for about 10 minutes, after which my newly created got banned for "Not following Community Guidelines". I had the option to appeal this ban. It asked me to upload a selfie video, looking at different directions. After 1 day, my appeal got rejected and the account is now permanently banned it seems.Is there any way to re-activate the facebook account?

Has anyone used the Meganex 8k at CES or so? How do the lenses compare to the BigScreen Beyond? Because the BSB had a tiny sweetspot so severe distortion on edges and excessive glare that was uncomfortable on my eyes and made me want to take it off.

Is anyone else having issues with gorilla tag on the Meta Quest 3s where it looks like the arms are glitching? The arms flail around super quick when running or wall running. It doesn't happen constantly, just sometimes. This didn't happen on the Meta Quest 2. It doesn't seem to be happening in other games like the fishing game in Meta Horizon worlds. We have tried restarting, tried using it in a room with blackout curtains (so no windows glare) and tried different tracking settings but nothing seems to work. It makes me wonder if gorilla tag needs updates for the newer headsets?Edit: It turned out that the design for the long arms sticks (a physical addon we got off amazon) were interfering with the censors somehow. It wasn't an issue on the quest 2 bc of the circle design of the controllers. The long arms completely cover the controllers in the new controller design. Once we removed the long arms it seemed to work better.

As of today there is a major bug in communication between Quest 3 and certain types of Router models. So let's get a list started on Wifi 6e routers that actually work. What Router do you have experience with being stable at 2400 Mbps in dedicated 6e mode?Remember to post Router name and model and screen grabs/video from the Quest 3 showing the speed. (Turn on experimental wifi settings to do so.)This is by no account a list that is for everyone. So far I found that some of the more expensive models between 350-700$/€ have been reported to work. So meta still has a major bug to fix. Long-story short; a Windows update forced me to do a clean install of Windows on my SSD.  I didn't save anything from the previous install--wiped the SSD and started fresh.  I am unable to install the Oculus software now.  The installer runs to what appears to be 100% complete, but then I get a message "Restart Computer- Sorry, we encountered an error during installation.  Please restart your computer and try running Oculus Setup again.  If you still experience issues, contact Oculus Support."I've restarted and tried (numerous times); I've also tried manually deleting the remnants of the failed install, rebooting, and trying again.  It constantly fails.  I considered trying to install the software to a different drive, however the setup program doesn't allow me to alter the default installation folder/drive.Any ideas?

Hi, we have purchased a big amount of Quest 2 for a client and would like to rename the devices as they appear all with the same name "Quest 2" when you want to stream one of them. Is there any way to rename them? Quest2-01 for example Thanks in advance

I have read some posts here and there and found out, that Quest3 supports USB-Ethernet Adapter. After some tests, the best adapter ist this: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0C3GHBLB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1   It works great, i can charge my quest at gaming and if i start at 95%...play a hour....i end at 95%. It´s a absolut stable connection without interferences and i can use godlike with 500mbps! (measured is ~480mbps, but 500mbps works without any problem)   For me the best PCVR link/experience i can get!   For use you need: -developer account -activated USB debugging -DHCP in Router   Short summary: -turn off WLAN in Quest 3 -LAN cable to router <> adapter -PD to adapter -Adapter to Quest 3 -Turn on and check if the store is loading without WLAN, then you know, it´s working   Greetings....ah, and if a meta developer read this: PLEASE DON`T TURN OFF THIS FEATURE!

I'm starting to panic chat😭 it's almost the date that my meta account is perm suspended. FYI it's on the 10th of January btw. I'm running assetto corsa content manager on my PC and it works fine. How do I get it to display on my Quest 3 headset?  

I have put in the code that my occulus has given me, but it always says it could not be found. I have tried every possible solution that has been given to me by the app.
