Refuses to install on Windows 11. Tried many times. Re-booted many times. Deleted folders as suggested and re-tried. No change. Just keeps saying it encountered an error. It goes through installation and you see files installed in all the places but nothing appears in 'installed programs'. You would think it would uninstall what has been installed before aborting and flagging an error. Just to say there is an error is hardly helpful, with the only suggestion to reboot and try again.I have had Meta installed before but stopped using it as it never connected reliably (I have Quest 3) so changed to VD and all worked smoothly.   

Tried everything, every display port, restarted meta app and pc, nothing. Nvidia 5070, Ryzen 7 7700, nothing.

This happened a day or two ago now, but I was on Bonelab, when it suddenly turned off without any low battery warning or anything. Now when i try to turn it on, this small white light flickers, but no life. Ive tried to do a hard reboot, but besides that, i havent been able to do anything else! Do i just turn this in to support or is this fixable easily?

Dear community,I’m looking for some suggestions regarding the system requirements for Meta Quest Link, specifically concerning the GPU.I’m helping an educational institution purchase several laptops that should be compatible with Meta Quest 3. On the official Meta page (updated about 16 weeks ago), I saw that NVIDIA RTX series 20/30/40/50 GPUs are listed as supported, with some exceptions.However, I also came across a few posts from some months ago where users reported issues with RTX 20 series GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture.I’d like to understand whether Blackwell architecture GPUs are now fully supported. Also, can anyone confirm whether the RTX 50 series works properly with Quest Link?Thanks in advance!

hey so im on my very last strawevery other devices connects to the internet just fine so it’s just the headset with the “no internet access” problem i tried restarting and disconnecting the wifi and waiting a couple days before trying to connect to the wifi again, this worked briefly for a few minutes before it went “nO iNtErNeT aCcEsS” AGAIN!! 😤i didnt try restarting the router because as I mentioned, the problem is the headset NOT the router and im not going to attempt the router gateway trick because i dont fiddle with stuff i dont understandi literally made a account just so i can make this postANY SOLUTIONS PLZ!!!! THAT DOESNT INVOLVE FACTORY RESETING 

Hi, anyone having issues with the game being so far away that you can't click to pick a puzzle. no one seems to know what the problem is. I have emailed the developer but they don't seem to know whats up. just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if so what did you do to correct.

     Hey my names Tim I got the Meta Quest 3 Christmas of 2024. I have a 2 year warranty, I got it through GameStop I bought 3 of the headsets which was a little over $1500, and bought the added scratch prevention warranty and recently they got scratched up. I brought them in to GameStop and they pulled up everything and said I bought three of them but then said the 2 I was trying to exchange didn't have matching serial numbers and told me I didn't buy them there when I know I did and their computers have proof I did I lost the original box but was told that didn't matter as long as I had everything which made sense because who keeps empty boxes for almost 2 years but I'm just trying to figure out what to do I love my headset and just wanna get them fixed but why  should I pay for a warranty that's not gonna work because the box had a different serial number. I would like someone to reach out and tell me how to get it fixed because I cant afford to drop another $100

 Hey guys so recently tried to do stuff with my old Quest 1 headset, installed the horizon link stuff and after finding out it goes out of its way to stay running on startup i uninstalled the software using its wizard.The apps files are no longer appearing in the install location but every single time i start up my PC it opens the support centre in Firefox. Does someone know how to get this to stop? its really annoying and has me wondering if there is some leftover bloatware that is running checks to see if meant to be uninstalled files are running and opening the support page because they aren't. 

I cannot buy anything in apps. It says purchase unsuccessful try again later please tell me how to fix.

Hi I had an email to verify my age - but when i log in via the link it just brings me to account details- cant see anywhere to verify age or upload ID etc.

QUEST 2 UPDATE YESTERDAY EVENING THEN SHUTDOWN 100326STUCK IN BOOT LOOP TODAY UPON NEXT BOOT.META OS LOGO AND PARTIAL BOOT SOUND.TRIED POWER HARD REBOOT. TRIED POWER PLUS DOWN VOLUME OPTION FOR SHUT DOWN AND BOOT.TRIED SIDELOAD UPDATE VIA SOFTWARE UPDATE TOOL V2.1. INSTALLED UPDATE GOT SLIGHTLY MORE OF THE START UP SOUND BUT STILL BOOT LOOP. TRIED UPDATE AGAIN BUT NOW FAILS.HAVE NOT FACTORY RESET YET FROM POWER VOLUME BOOT MENU. NOT SURE WHAT SOFTWARE VERSION IT UPDATED TO BEFORE BOOT LOOP STARTED, PRESUME LATEST BUT NOT SURE IF WAS EIGHTY FOUR OR FIVE OR 2.1 AS FROM THE UPDATE TOOL. 

For some reason i never had the navigator. Not in v79, not in v85 and not even in v2.1.1034.  I got the new surface keyboard and its working fine but i still dont have the navigator even tho meta said theyre bringing the new navigator in v2.1.  Why?

Hi,we have Meta p97 (quest 3s) and i try to use themCompany that sell/deliver them to us lie us withsupport for over 4 month so we try to solvethe problem without them.I have account in auth.meta.com and verifiedby email.On glasses i`m on step to open from computerwork.meta.com/device and to enter generated code.I do this but it ask me for email given by organization.From seller i have list of 5 email but they are not working - eventhey agree that there is problem with this emails.I try with email for auth.meta.com but it give me thatit is not associated account with this email.Can i fix this for myself?

Why is it that I have had this headset for over a year and have only been able to connect by wire maybe twice during this time frame.I look back at other solutions to only see that this problem has been going on for years. I will not recommend the Quest 3 or any Meta products in the future.Thanks a lot for disappointing hundreds of users.

Remote Desktop connects OK and I see the monitors, but when the pointer or hand tracker hovers over the screen, overlay buttons pop up and nothing can be clicked on the monitor. Can't launch anything, can only switch monitors, change resolution or disconnect. Am I missing a step?

need help linking my rift s and steam vr

I’ve tried everything to confirm his date of birth, but it must be listed incorrectly on his account. There is no way to change the date of birth as he is under the age of 13 and I’ve tried to get help via the chat bot and it takes me nowhere. How can I update my child’s date of birth so that his account is not suspended and he loses all of his purchases?

? Bonjour j utilise toujours meta link horizon en usb pc vr et depuis 2 semaines le usb ce connecte et gel au départ ? Si je prends air link ça fonctionne et si je prends Virtual Desktop en usb ça fonctionne aussi seulement en meta link usb que ça gele ??

The other day I decided to play on my headset when I noticed my controllers keep buzzing because they were trying to connect to my headset. So I look to see if it was my battery’s so I tried to check on my headset but everything was stuck to my face. I couldn’t turn around to look behind me. I even tried to restart my headset and I even factory reset. Some times I could get my headset to work but most of the time it just soft locks me.

I've been having the same issue for the past 2-3 weeks. My mic audio gets recorded, and not my game audio at all. Today when I tried to record again, I only heard the record sound indicator in the replay, but no game audio. I tried the same troubleshooting steps, along with a factory reset, but it doesn't work. I contacted Meta about this and they were only able to tell me to factory reset the headset, and no further fixes from them (such as making a headset software update.) It's getting incredibly annoying, plus the fact that I'm a part time VR content creator makes this even worse to deal with. Doesn't record with any app either, especially with virtual desktop, which I use on a daily basis.
