Hey mods, I need some help. I had an account on this forum with my FB email, and I was working with a support person to fix an issue with my Quest 2. However, when I tried to sign in today, it defaulted to my [business email] and created a new account.  It won't let me switch back. Can someone help me merge these accounts or get back to the conversation I was having? I'm trying to resolve a long-standing issue with my Quest 2 and could use some assistance. Thanks!

Recently tried to link a new controller to my Quest 2. Oculus on phone (which has been updated to 'Meta Quest' refuses to login. I can loginto the Meta Quest site on the laptop - just not the app. I've reinstalled the app and changed passwords but nothing makes any difference. If there's a way to pair a new controller w/out using the app that'd be fine or being able to login to the app would also work.

When I join a game I get this error the support told me that it is an error with meta. I’ve tried everything I could to fix this issue but it didn’t work. Not even after a factory reset. The game is animal company.

When I invite my account  into the headset it says that it’s on the headset on my phone but it doesn’t show up on my headset 

When I go into Meta Workrooms and try to add additional screens to my layout I just get all three screens spinning and then jumping out to leave only my center screen. I never had this problem until the Nov 2025 update on Nov 4 I believe. Support Chat went through what they could with me but the problem has not been solved. Anyone have any input on this?

Hello Meta. I'm an owner of Meta Quest 3, I like it. But a few previous months I didn't have a time to run it.  Today I wanted to configure it because tomorrow my friends want to come to me to have some party, and we have a plan to play some VR games. But when I try to login I get "You have requested too many code" issue while asking for SMS 2 factor authentication. So I unable to login into my account. Could help me to fix this issue now somehow, because in the support ticket there is information that it will be answered only after 24 hours, it's too long for me, and I cant say my friends tomorrow that everything not working. I can confirm that it's my account, I have an access to email, to Instagram and Facebook accounts that are related too, can confirm that I'm owner of Meta Quest 3 via its serial number. The only issue that I have now - I'm unable to login into my account Meta on any device including Meta Quest 3 because of this issue with missed SMS code.P.S. I created this

Hi!I've had Quest 3 for a year now, but I don't use them on my PC because of a series of problems that I haven't been able to solve since I got them. Let me explain: My PC doesn't have a USB-C connection, so I bought an INIU cable. When I run a speed test, it gives me between 2.5 Gbps and 3.2 Gbps, which I understand is a good speed. However, this is where a series of problems arise. I have an 8GB NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti (ASUS) and an AMD Ryzen 7 FX 5800X and 32GB of RAM. It's not a particularly powerful computer, but it does what I need it to do. The problem arises when I connect the headset and use Steam VR with games like Half Life Alyx or EmuVR, the latter especially with the Oculus connection.It freezes when I press the button to open the Oculus menu and starts to run slowly, with lag and a distorted image. When I look at the PC screen with the game, I see that it drops from a stable 72 FPS to 5-6 FPS... or even less. There is no way to use the Oculus menu within a SteamVR game be

hello my a button on the right controller is not responding. it keeps making me jump instead of clicking when i try to use the browser.

So I woke up one day and got on my vr but it was stuck saying‘Finding position in room’ so I factory reset it because that’s what I do when my headset glitches. When I did it asked me to log into my account but the email used for my account was my old email that I don’t have access to anymore so I was wondering how could I log back into my account 

I factory reset my quest 2 due to some password issues then when I want to finish configuring the headset with the app it just don't detect the headset but the app thinks it's still linked but the website doesn't 

Hello, I'm trying to install the OculusSetup.exe to be able to use my Oculus Rift S, but every time it is like dowloading it stops at some point and shows a message:Check the connection.There was an error while the instalation, Check your connection and try to run again the Oculus instalation program, If you continue having problems with it, please contack the Oculus help service. And here I am.I already tried to turn on and turn off the wifii and connection by network port, either of them worked, already tried to desactivate all antivirus and run the installation, didn't work, I already restarted my computer, and it still didn't work. I don't know what to do, please help.

Hello,On June 3rd I sent a gift to a friend and they didn't claim it within the 30 days. It's  been several months and not refund was issued. Is it possible to issue a new code? If not, then a refund needs to be processed soon.Thank you

Hi,I've just had my Quest 3 update to PTC V83 today, and have encountered some issues:- People icon - The "people" icon at the bottom of the Navigator doesn't load or do anything. If I have my app library showing, and press the people icon, nothing happens. The view stays the same, and the Quest 3 does not attempt to show or load the people app.- Profile icon - The Profile icon for my profile, when I press it goes to a new screen, showing a menu on the left, and my online status on the right etc. However in the middle is a spinner progress ring, and nothing ever loads. The menu on the left also does not work, and pressing the button to manage my avatar, shows a context menu, but when I move the controller off of the button the context menu disappears, so I cannot select it

Nearly two years ago, I sent my Quest 3 headset and both controllers in for repair. I only received the headset back. For two months, I have received only bot written form replies. Finally, a human replied stating she was sending me two replacement controllers (she admitted they lost mine) and gave order numbers. Right Controller: Order #*** Left Controller: Order #*** 3 weeks go by and I received only more bot replies. Today, I get an email saying my order for a LEFT CONTROLLER was being cancelled and I was being refunded.  I did not order a left controller and they cant refund anything since I bought my Oculus from Amazon nearly a year ago. The net is filled with countless similar storied about Meta stealing sent in items and refusing to do anything to assist.  There are a lot of us customers that Meta has screwed. I can't believe we all have to let them get away with this.  They admitted losing my controllers. Isn't there any legal action we can take?

 My oculus recently suggested for security to set a pattern. I set a pattern with the dots, and then it locked me out. And will not let me back in, because pattern on security screen of dots is different than pattern that I set up pattern on the screen it had me set pattern on looks like a regular telephone dots.The sign in screen.I went to does not look like that.I am locked out now

I have an Asus ROG G14 laptop (2024)Specifications:Ryzen 7 8845HSRTX 4060 8GB16 GB RAMLast year, I was using a Pico 4 headset and didn’t notice any problems. Then, after a year, I bought a new Quest 3 for PC gaming (I sold the Pico last year). I downloaded Quest Link to connect to the PC via cable, connected it, and launched SteamVR. It worked fine, but when I started games, periodic lag and stuttering appeared immediately. When launching HL:Alyx, a message about insufficient video memory showed up in the menu.I spent almost a whole day researching this issue but couldn’t find a good solution. The problem is that when I connect the headset to the PC, Quest Link immediately consumes 2-3 GB of video memory. Then I launch SteamVR, and the video memory usage goes up to around 6 GB. When I start HL:Alyx through SteamVR, there is practically no video memory left.I tried different settings in the Debug Tool and also changed the headset’s resolution and refresh rate. When I go to add my friend on meta it doesn’t give me the option to add him and then when I try to join a meta call it joins for a second and then kicks me

My headset is not even a week old, its worked fine up until 4 hours ago. I stopped using the headset at 31% battery, on the meta horizon app it states this is the battery as well and was synced 4 hours ago. Since then its been completely bricked. The LED light wont indicate if its charging , the screens dont work at all. And now ive left the glorfied paper weight to charge for more than 2 hours using the cable and adapter the headset came with, nothing. Some other things to note,-Cant access boot menu after holding the volume down and power for over one minute multiple times-tried and tested multiple charging cables, doesn't work-I use no accessories for the headset-LED does not work-Cant be detected on my PC on the meta appWould appreciate any advice on the matter. Hi just bought a meta quest 3 for daughter and I’ve redeemed a voucher code in my account and it won’t let me transfer it to her. I’ve tried transferring it through the app and it says her currency is wrong …… unable to accept the transfer ??? I can’t seem to look at her account to see if we’ve set anything up wrong. when it says go to profile and find wallet, there is no wallet button!! help me please. I have money a code that I’ve redeemed but in the wrong account! 

Hi everyone! After last update i'm no longer to open the program, because when it opening, it jump the start page bringing me back on logging page. i try to uninstall and reinstall with nothing to fact. Any one same issue? Some solution?
