I just got my Quest 3 yesterday (second day using it 🙂).Since then I’ve been stuck in an install loop. Here’s what I already tried: Restarting the headset (full power off, not just restart).Canceling all previous downloads.Powering it off completely for a full minute before turning back on.Switching to a different Wi-Fi network / mobile hotspot.  But the same issue keeps happening:Every time I press Install, it goes to Queued and then immediately flips back to Install again within one second. Any ideas or fixes?

I turned on my Quest 3 today with no issue.  I decided to update the software.  Now it no longer works. I get the Meta logo and then the screen goes gray followed by a black screen.  I've tried multiple factory resets, and it never came back.  Contacted support and they want $239 to repair or replace the device.  It is only 1 1/2 years old, and it is their update that has caused the issue.  I'm so disappointed. 

So, you can add apps to the Meta Quest Link app on PC, and I have. I was working on VR mods for The Joy of Creation: Reborn 4-5 years ago. I have almost immediately removed the apps from the software because the the mod was more trouble than it was worth.Well, since then, anytime I launch the game, it automatically launches the Meta app, which is REALLY ANNOYING. I cannot find a way to stop this happening. And this issue has been persistent across 3 WINDOWS INSTALLS.WHY CAN I NOT PERMANANTLY STOP THIS GAME FROM OPENING THE STUPID META APP?!?!?

Previously when I would get close to my boundary I would see the blue grid and know to back off. Now when I get near the boundary it just goes into passthrough mode. I've gone to boundary and set to roomscale and blue grid. Tried other colors, restarted headset. Is the old grid gone?Thanks for any ideas.Arjuna-Lad

 My Meta Horizon Worlds account was suspended, but I no longer have the original suspension email with the appeal link. I cannot log in to request a review, and I have no other way to contact support. Please someone help. My daughter had been secretly using my account and got it suspended. 

So... a few days ago i bought Meta quest 3. the quest 3 itself works fine, no problems at all, but i wanted to play PCVR, when i connected my quest 3 via air link, the image was lagging, impossible to play. i tried some fixes, updated my GPU drivers, tried EVERYTHING. But still, no matter what i use, Air link or cable, same issue, PCVR lagging a lot. but heres the thing, i used meta quest 2 a year ago with the SAME pc, and PCVR worked fine, when i updated to quest 3 this problem occured. pls help me!Here is my pc specsIntel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2678 v3 @ 2.50GHz   2.50 GHz64GB DDR4Nvidia RTX 3060 ti 8GB

I’m new to my Meta Quest 3S, I’ve noticed that my universal menu has disappeared last few days.  No matter how many times I pressed the Meta button with my right controller, only library comes up.  I looked online and checked my software updates, reset my boundaries and went as far as doing a factory reset.  I cannot get my universal menu back.  I’m very frustrated with myself.  Is there something wrong with my system.

So I have had this headset for the past 3 years, I haven't  played on it in about a year, when a problem suddenly arises, the original meta account it was hooked up to (my big sis’s) was deleted, it said I had to hook up a new account to it, and now a year later I’m trying to, but the Device code I type in is literally CORRECT but still says it’s wrong 😔 

Hi everyone, I just bought meta quest 3s. I have a Mac book pro up to date. When I install meta quest Remote Desktop at the end it says that the version of my Mac is not up to date so I cannot use the app. But my Mac IS up to the latest version. I don't understand. Can somebody help me ??Thank you

My parent has ownership over my Meta Account for my Quest 2 since it was created but we’ve now decided I’m old enough to take full ownership. Initially, the account was made with my parent’s Facebook account but we’ve added a couple account since then. The current connected accounts are:Parent’s FacebookParent’s InstagramMy InstagramMy Meta AccountI want to make it so that the only two accounts that are linked are my instagram and my meta account while the other two stay linked but separately. How do I go about this? Also, I want all the games bought for my VR to stay. What is the easiest way of doing this?

My sons account says it has been suspended when he try’s to log on the app, and the vr screen just keeps loading. Had no emails to say it is suspended therefore I have no idea how to resolve?! Please help! 

Had an excellent opportunity to test how my battery drains while powered off for an extended period. 12 days powered off while on holiday and drain was 0.75% each day. That seems quite acceptable and is better than some tablets and laptops we own. 

Recently on my Quest 3 the Universal Menu has stop displaying, if I push the button, you can hear the sound, but nothing happens! I spent 3 hours on live chat yesterday, I tried turning developer mode on and off, reset Gurdian, managed to do multiple hard reboots, four factory resets and two USB-ADB updates with no progress. I can however launch games/apps with my meta-app on my phone. Anyone ever experience this bug/glitch before? If so, how did you solve the issue? 

My son has lost his password for his meta quest 2 and deleted the meta horizon app from his phone. When trying to log back in to the app on his phone I have tried the 'forgotten password' option, but this is not sending an email to his account (possibly due to his age). This means that we can't reset his password and therefore cannot get back into his account.I have confirmed on his meta quest that the email is correct, yet no code is sent. I have tried to contact meta, but there is seemingly no way to do this. I can't even delete his account and lose all of the games he shas paid for as it won't allow me to re-register with the same email. I am now completely out of options, can anyone on here help? 

To start this off, I do not typically like to complain, but I've never been so disappointed in a company as I am with Meta right now. I'm a 32 year old techie and I've had my share of tech issues over the years with varying levels of support.   I have to say though, this has been the worst experience I've had with a product and the support. I wear eyeglasses, as many people do and I had no idea the danger they posed to the Quest 3. I purchased my Quest 3 in February and have used it a handful of times, always taking care to protect and store the device. I was using the Quest 3 yesterday and it was either too loose or too tight and my glasses bumped the inner lens, scratching both my eyeglasses and the Quest 3 lens.  After reviewing Reddit and forums online, I see this is a common problem and lens protectors inside the Quest are recommended.... Well that would be fine if Meta warned about this. I've spoken with support and there is no option to fix the lens, short of purchasin

Da 2 giorni dopo aver connesso il mio quest 3 al PC tramite USB C (cavo USb testato tramite App risultando pienamente compatibile con velocità di 3,3 Gbps) entra in una schermata di caricamento infinito (Simbolo di Meta con  sfondo nero). Le mie specifiche sono windows 11 aggiornato all' ultima versione, GPU 4070 TI super, CPU AMD Ryzen 7800x3d, RAM 32GB.Nei giorni precedenti non ho mai riscontrato nessun problema. Ho reimpostato il visore alle impostazioni di fabbrica ed aggiornato l' App di Meta per PC all' ultima versione senza nessun risultato.

EDIT: before you read this, the problem has been fixed. (look below) Ok so my left oculus quest 2 touch controller is blinking on and off (spelling SOS in morse code). It appears to be paired in the app, but the headset says otherwise. Its been like this for about an hour. I've searched this problem up online, and apparently its some sort of failed firmware update. There are lots of fixes online but none of them work for me. I have tried: - unpairing then repairing the controllers from the app. (x3)- taking out the battery then re-inserting it.- restarting the headset (x2)- entering Bluetooth pairing mode on the controllers- shutting down the headset and then turning it back on. none of these "fixes" worked for me, and every time I tried one the controllers got more buggy: - left controller (bad one) buzzing every half second- right controller becoming unpaired- default cursor (when no controller is paired) staying in one spot If oculus somehow finds this

Salut je suis confronté à un problème très critique et inadmissible qui m'empêche d'utiliser mon casque. Au moment de l'identification sur l'application pc je ne peux pas me connecter et c'est écrit mot de passe ou mail incorrect. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ça fait ça j'ai essayé de supprimer et réinstaller l'application,de l'ouvrir en tant que administrateur, d'utiliser différents comptes mais en vain.Avez vous une solutions au problème que je rencontre ? 

Hello Meta i wanted to inform you that i got a black screen in 2022 then my dad quited his oculus account so i factory resetted it made a new account and horray then i missed my old game Meta plssssssssssssss get my dads old acc  back

So after successfully updating my Quest 3 from v78.1031 to v79.1027, after powering off my Quest 3, the battery indicator now only shows one battery connected even though I have the Elite headstrap with battery connected to the headset (and I also have the USB charging cable connected to the Elite battery). Previously it would show both batteries.I can temporarily fix this using these exact steps:with the charging cable connected to the Elite battery, briefly press the button on the Elite battery. The orange light should come on for a few seconds.after the orange light on the Elite battery has gone off again, disconnect the charging cable.plug the charging cable back into the Elite battery (the light should stay unlit).press and hold the button on the Elite battery until the green light comes on. Continue holding the button until the green light goes out, then release the button immediately (if you hold it too long, the green light will come on again and start flashing rapidly).now put

Where to start!? Just got a quest 3s (Xbox edition)… trying to connect it to pc. Installed Meta Quest Link on PC. Asks me to choose a profile picture and I can’t get any further. There is no button to continue further… clicking my option any number of times does not progress the process.tried contacting meta support and the nightmare continues.. every option I click to attempt to reach an actual person comes to a screen where it doesn’t seem to recognize my meta account having a device attached. I can input the serial number (from arm of quest device)(purchased from Best Buy) and it says not recognized. There is a link on these same pages on where to find the sn and when you click it, it literally shows MY DEVICE and it’s serial number. Click on my account: devices… nothing! i just want to talk to a freaking person! …And before anyone suggests it, YES, I have tried restarting the devices and reinstalling the app.

Hi,every time I take off and then put on my Quest2, it shows Boundary not found and forces me to set a new one. I'm on my work place and the surroundings don't change. I just take it off, put on the table and then put it on. This issue is critical for me, I develop VR apps in Unreal Engine, so it really takes too much time to set the boundary each time, while debugging I take Quest2 off and put on quite often. It started a month or two ago after some update. Please, help to solve this.Thanks!

I got Wifi that disallowed me to enter certain websites. Thus, I would like to change dns as similar as my mobile phone. My mobile phone use google dns. So how do I do that in quest 3 headset?
