I just purchase my quest 3 and i cant find or how to claim the free batman game? Can you pls help me what to do? Thank you
My Quest 3 seems to be suffering the low resolution bug that seems to be a thing from looking on Google. Toggling battery saver mode on and off plus reformatting the headset has not fixed it. Any tips? The resolution honestly hurts my eyes, making it unusable.
I was playing vrchat and plugged my headset into my phone charger instead of my quest pro charger (idk if this has anything to do with it) and my screen went white and had diagonal black lines and a high pitched ringing noise for like 10-15 seconds and then cut off completely. I have it plugged in directly right now and I tried to reboot it and nothing is working any help would be appreciated. it isn’t charging or lighting up at all.
Hiapologies if this has been asked before but struggling to find a good answer… new meta quest 3s bought for my 10 year old. I have set up a child account in my family account. Ideally I don’t want him switching to my adult account but it seems the only way to stop this is by using the pin? Also when the meta quest boots up it requires the pin and always logs into the parent account?so really is the only way to fix thisSet up pin on adult accountEvery time he wants to play someone has to power it on and put in the pin, then switch to the child account if this is the case then it seems to be a flawed setup? What am I missing?
I can’t reset pin and I don’t recall putting a pin when creating the account and now k can’t do anything
My Quest 3 is bricking itself right now..TLDR version: Quest 3 suddenly repeatedly making connect sound, won't connect via Link Cable, and doesn't recharge, all after latest update.Youtube (Short) DemonstrationFull Story:After using my Q3 for PC Link gaming successfully last night (just before bedtime) I simply set the headset down with it still connected to my PC and recharging. I immediately noticed the light flashing on the headset so I put it to my face and saw that it was doing an update. I waited for that to finish, turned it back on just to confirm it was working ok (it was) then turned it off and went to bed.Not long after I fell asleep I was awoken by the Q3 repeatedly playing the connect sound in a rapid continuous loop, which kept going even after turning the headset on. Being late at night I simply turned it off, unplugged the cable and went back to sleep. This morning I've gone to check on it - the noise is still constantly happening once the Link Cable is plugged back in,
I have the extended warranty on the Meta Quest 3, and have had nothing but problems trying to get them to replace a controller through the warranty program. The site shows my coverage is valid through the end of the year, yet their support will not honor it. Instead they offer a refurbished controller... What did the warranty cover then... I had previously had the controller replaced. It seems like fraud not to honor it.Has anybody else had this experience?
I had updated my headset a couple of days ago from v78.1027 to v78.1028 (the 105Mb update) but it still showed my software as being v78.1027, but "up to date". Today I found that my Quest 3 had a new software update available for v78.1030 (also 105Mb). I updated and restarted the headset. It again says it is "up to date" but my software version number is still showing as v78.1027 "updated on 8th July 2025"! I've submitted a bug report via the quick settings menu.
I get a pop up saying "Meta Quest" Wants to Use "meta.com" to Sign in. I click continue, but when I try to log in it using my email, it does nothing. The same Login screen pops up asking for my email and password. It just keeps going in a infinite loop. I am making a new Meta account and I have never had a Facebook, Instagram, or Oculus account. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm at part that requires me to pair my Quest 2 with the Meta Quest app.
currently my meta quest two is refusing to charge or turn on and before you ask, yes, i have done all the switching cables and outlet stuff aswell as trying to do the reset and reboot things but none of it works im seeking help on how to fix it and how much it costs thank you for listening have a blessed day
Hello,I would like to clarify the policies and technical limitations regarding using the same Meta account on multiple Quest headsets in educational and institutional contexts. We have two cases:School project (10 headsets)A school owns 10 Quest headsets, all under the same account. We publish our own educational app (free, no payments) through Meta Developer Hub in RC or Production mode. Can all 10 headsets use the same account to install and run the app without issuesPublic health service project (around 150 headsets)We developed another free app for the regional health service to bring into schools. The idea is to deploy the app across ~150 headsets. However, at the same time, only 10–20 headsets are in use (never all 150 at once). Is it allowed to use the same account across all these devices for this purpose?Or would Meta require a different plan (e.g., Quest for Business / Horizon Managed Solutions)? In both cases, the apps are free, educational, and do not include any monetization.Coul
If you have/are experiencing issues with one of your speakers on your headset like the audio glitches or sounds distorted a fix i found for it is turn your headset on max volume for a few seconds and it should be fixed
Hi, I wanted to use my Quest 2 today and it's been a while. I am pretty sure I put in the correct PIN to unlock it but it refused to accept it so I guess it wasn't correct. I really don't want to factory reset the entire device. How can I restore the PIN? I have access to my Meta account and the app is still linked to the device. The "PIN" tab on secure.oculus.com didn't do anything after resetting it through there. Thank you in advance.
Hello everyone,I recently had problem when starting my quest 2: the meta logo appears, then the screen stay still and the headset go to the standby mode even if i have the headset on my head.Even if i put my finger on the proximity sensor, it doesn't work.I guess the proximity sensor is the responsible, so i bought a new one but the result is the same.I wanted to use the developer mode to disable the proximity sensor but it doesn't work at all.I tried with the meta horizon android application, it tells me "we encounter problems..."I also tried the meta quest developer hub windows app, and it find the meta quest through usb cable but it says "The headset was not able to connect through bluetooth".Is there anyone who had the same problem ?Thanks very muchalex6m
This happened out of nowhere, I suddenly couldn’t get to set up my boundary and that stops me from playing my games and even straight up removes it from my library and only shows me apps that can be played without a boundary. I keep clicking to set up a room scale boundary and literally nothing happens, doesn’t even go to the passthrough. I tried rebooting multiple times but it didn’t change anything. And for some weird reason when I take my head off my headset it goes black even when it’s on. My controllers act like there’s a boundary set up but i can’t even play my games without it crashing the apps because I don’t have a boundary set up… which is not letting me do. Can someone help? I’m starting to think my oculus is a lost cause.
My quest will not update I was on v79.1028 been onto meta support for 2months now they told me to factory reset. Now the software I am on is v78.0 I was on v78.28. The quest still will not update either after factory rest and when I click software update it just says it’s up to date but it’s not. Any ideas as meta don’t have a clue!!!
Hello. I have owned Quest Pro controllers for several months now with my Quest 3 and have experienced minor issues having to do with connection and tracking. I have been able to solve those issues fairly easily. However, I am now experiencing an issue that I haven't found a solution for after much research. My quest pro controllers are fully charged and turn on just fine. I am able to connect them to my headset, but they don't turn on past that. The meta horizon app shows them as connected, but in my headset neither controllers are on and functional. I have restarted the controllers, headset, and even went as far as factory resetting the controllers, where I had to use my old quest 3 controllers in order to set up the headset (because the pros still have the issue). I have been looking online for people with similar issues and it seems like none of them can figure it out themselves which makes me regret buying these controllers in the first place. Does anyone know how to reach a soluti
I'm trying to contact Meta support, but I just get the message "We couldn’t find a device associated with the verification info provided. Please try again." Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks

So, I'll keep it short. My index trigger on the controller isn't working properly, and I wanted to request a replacement. When I tried to do so, it suddenly said that my region was Switzerland, even though I live in Germany and that's the Country where I bought the Quest 2.Entering my German address doesn't work; I've already tried that ._.so how do you change the region/country?
So I was trying to charge my headset and it wont charge, it only starts charging if I push the charging cable in, I think the port might be jammed but I dont want to send it in for price reasons, how would I fix it?
We need a feature to be able to lock the headset tracking to a motion rig rather than a room. Without this feature AR passthrough moves when the rig moves, which it should not. Maybe April Tags or QR codes could be used?
So, I used to have hand tracking on my Quest 3. I’ve only had it about 3 weeks. Hand tracking stops working after a few seconds. I double tap, see my hands after putting down the controllers, but then after a few seconds, my hands just go to my sides. I then have to pick up the controllers to get everything working. I’ve also noticed lately that in games like VR chat, my quest seems to lose tracking of my controllers, trying to switch to Hands, which doesn’t work really well either. I usually have to shake the controllers to get everything back working. I’m in a well room, there’s no small lights, and there’s no reflections. In fact, I’ve only used it in the same room, and this is the room where hand tracking used to work. I’ve cleaned all my cameras. I just don’t know what else to do. I’ve also restarted my quest, turn off and then back on the hand and body tracking, but still nothing. I get Hands up for one second and then it turns off and my hands go to the side of my characte
How do I fix my meta quest 3s after accidentally washing it in the washing machine?
