I’m trying to set up my Quest, and the iPhone app says to enter the 5 digit code displayed-but there is no code. How do I find this code?
I bought a Quest 3 last week and finally got Quest LInk working, but there is no sound, this is what I did trying to fix it. 1. Enroll PTC in both Quest Link and Meta Horizon and let them update and reboot 2. Make sure Hear Computer Audio in VR and Hear Audio from Computer are checked and not muted 3. Change the name of Oculus Virtual Audio Device to "Headphones" No luck at all, could you please be so kind telling me what have I missed? Much appreciated!
Hi my right controller won’t turn in or pair. Tried factory reset and app reboot
I am wondering if there was a reason why it is taking 5+ hours to download a 1Gb game on a 75Mbps Internet connection. I am hoping that because Oculus Quest has sold out and it is christmas day, the Oculus Servers are having a hard time with the large influx of new devices. Unfortunately i feel alienated with that hope because it seems as if i am the only one suffering with this problem. I am concerned to troubleshoot my internet as it would cancel my download wich is at 80% currently, but it works fine on my phone and laptop.
My son's left controller keeps disconnecting itself then has issues with re-pairing .
So until now ive been able to just connect the link cable and use my headset on the pc freely now suddenly the pc app wont even recognize the headsets been plugged in, which kinda sucks since all my games are on the pc so basically cant do anything with my headset until a new update or a fix unless i want to buy the games over again. Not sure what to do to fix it
OS: Windows 11Quest Model: Quest 2 (more than one)Link Cable: Multiple third party cables made for Quest 2PC: Multiple PC setups including laptopsHello,I'm not necessarily here to ask a question, but I want Meta to be aware of an ongoing issue with the Oculus Software on Windows 11 (I haven't tested on 10).For the past year(?) I have been experiencing an issue where Quest Link either: fails outright with an error message, displays a black screen with three dots indefinitely, or I get video but no audio despite the audio settings being correct in 1) Oculus Software, 2) Windows, 3) In the game. I have tested on a slew of different devices all running Windows 11 including desktop PC's and laptops. I have also tested several different third party cables, and even with different Quest 2 headsets. The issue presents itself at seemingly random. Some times it works flawlessly. Most of the time, however, it requires 1) replugging the cable, 2) Restarting Oculus Software, 3) Restarting the PC, 4)
I had to go with meta, and now I can’t pair my headset to the met account, the Mets account gives me four code boxes and when I look into the head set to get the codes, the headset gives me A 8 code number, I’m at my wits end!a,
Got my Quest a couple weeks ago and the left controller is drifting to the right, even though I have not been rough with it at all. Most likely dirtiness or a bug with the controller or headset. If its the latter, fix it in the next hardware update or at least address that you are working on a fix, Oculus. Here is everything I have tried so far:Possible fixes on Oculus' end:Add a controller recalibration system, similar to the Nintendo Switch'sAdd dead zone options------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SOLUTION TO CONTROLLER DRIFT!!!Ok so I was able to fix this... If you are having this problem, all you need to do - and yes it's this simple - push down the joystick and blow into it. It's that easy. You may get lightheaded from it, but it worked for me. It will come back eventually, so when it does... just do it again. I have only had drift twice, so not many times have I had to do this so
Help! I’m being told to enter code on my device/phone but there’s no place to do so. How do you reac
Hey, do you now if there are any plans in the near future to provide us with Oculus Link for Mac?
I hate complaining and usually I just try to make things work, but this is my second Meta Quest2 and i'm struggling with the same BS that I did with the first one with the **bleep** left controller floating all over the place on the screen and now it won't pair at all. The mobile app says it’s paired, but it doesn’t reflect that in VR. I use this device primarily for working out.I worked out yesterday with one controller whilst still holding onto the non working one and would tap the meta button and it would occasionally pause the game and at times would flash onto the screen for half a second but keeps showing a pop up saying the left controller isn’t connected. It doesn’t matter if I’m in the Home Screen or the supernatural app, the issues persist no matter what I do. I’ve done factory resets which seemed to help a little with the drifting at first, but the hey never went away completely. I just started to get used to it. I use the Supernatural app every single day I have auto immune
It's just like my audio completely disappeared. I was playing games with the audio just fine like a week ago and searched all about this when it stopped working, and nothing works. My audio for my computer is Headphones (Oculus Virtual Audio Device) and it's at half volume and "Hear computer audio in VR" is on. I tried going to the control sound panel thing on my computer and nothing seems to work, idk whats happening but this needs to be fixed
Hello people, I need help. I recently got a Quest 2 and I'm trying to connect it to my PC with the link cable. For some reason, Windows thinks the oculus is a phone, so it's automatically trying to import photos and videos from the headset, which interrupts and disconnects Link, then it connects link again, and windows does the same again. When I connect the headset to my PC, the headset asks if I allow the PC to acces the files on the oculus. If i allow, it starts doing what I wrote earlier. If i deny, it does a loop of disconnecting and connecting and asking to access the files again every second. How can I make it work? Has anyone had this issue? Please help.
So I just got my Quest 2 and I'm having trouble getting it paired up with my phoneI don't know if I put in a wrong code, but it's taking a long while and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restart the Quest and even did a factory reset, and they're both connected to the same internet serverAm I doing something wrong or am I just impatient?
Why does nobody reply to my post's? my oculus quest 2 controllers keep acting up The controllers are awful it seems like someone is controlling this thing or someone has been using these controllers my character keeps floating around and going in the wrong direction and on the left controller the menu options keep cycling around different options like duplicate green, lock red this is very irritating and makes it difficult to finish the map I'm trying to make.

[EDIT] : After updating to the newly released game ready drivers (496.13) through GeForce Experience, and, as gary.clark.54584 suggested, repairing the oculus client by running the setup file again, oculus link seems to be working. I'm unsure which of the two actually fixed it, or if any actually did and the fix actually came from some update the oculus developers did, but what I'm sure of is that Oculus Link is currently working for me. Will update again if new issues arise. [ORIGINAL POST] : I'm seriously out of ideas.I bought my Quest 2 in early July, and it's been working wonderfully since. I've been plugging it into my PC with that approved Anker USB 3.0 cable, and I've had absolutely no issues with it. Most games run perfectly, such as Blade & Sorcery, H3VR, Beat Saber, Boneworks, etc. However, since today, oculus link just doesn't want to work at all anymore. Here's the exact chain of actions I take and the reactions from the Quest 2 :I plug the USB 3.0 cable in the
Everytime I have tried to add another accounts onto my quest 2 the device code on meta.com/device says "Invalid Device Code Request! Please try again!" I have factory reset my headset and done all troubleshooting methods.
I have no audio on my Quest headset when using Oculus Link. These are all the things I have tried to resolve the issue:Reboot PC and/or Quest and plugged things back in in many different orders.Restarted the Oculus service.Tried different USB ports.Tried different USB cables.Tried both an active and a passive extender.Tried throwing a USB 3 hub into the mix just because, both as the first part of the chain and as the second part.Tried with headphones plugged into the Quest and with them removed.Tried toggling all the options related to sound that I could find within the software (Devices > Quest and Touch, all those sound options).Repaired / reinstalled Oculus software.Uninstalled Virtual Desktop Streamer app and its audio driver.Changed my desktop speakers from 5.1 to stereo.Attempted setting every single audio output device as default in Windows.Plugged in my CV1, went through the setup, and then tried piping audio through the Oculus Rift Headphones audio output adapter.Rein
Got the Quest 3 ten days ago. I've gotten warnings about USB-port containing some debris or liquid, when unplugging or plugging the USB-cable to Quest 3. This has also happened when I power up the headset with its power button. It is a popup window with this warning message. I have no idea if this is software or hardware issue. I got this message first time when I booted the headset for the very first time and plugged the USB-cable to headset. There is obviously no liquid damage or visible debris in the USB port, the device charges OK, I've charged the headset maybe 2 to 3 times, and today I again got a warning when I pressed the power button and the headset booted.
The title should be self-explanatory; My oculus software is detecting my USB 3.0 cable(the Anker one that was recommended before the official link cable) and USB 3.0 port as USB 2.0. I've gone and tried to update my drivers, including uninstall/reinstall, to no avail. Any suggestions for a fix? For reference, both my Quest and PC are running the latest versions, and my PC is link compatible.
Hi I just got my Quest Pro controllers today and paired them to my headset (Quest 2), however I can't use them and a little pop up saying "Controller update in progress (Left 0%) (Right 0%)" keeps appearing evey 30 seconds, I left the controllers a while to update but they never progress past 0%

Hello there,I am a new user of the Meta Quest 2. Is there a way to directly stream to an Apple TV without having to first stream to the meta quest mobile app on my iPhone and then use screen mirroring? It's especially complicated if you already have the headset on and quickly want to screen cast to the TV. The Apple TV is connected to the same wifi network and airplay is turned on too. Unfortunately, it doesn't finds the Apple TV under the list of available devices shown to my headset. thanks in advance.
