In M content development, how to hide the user's hands and controllers in their hands from the passthrough view?  In other words, we don't want to see the user's hands and controllers held in their hands in the real environment.

My quest 3 controller is connected but not showing. Only these purple light. Should I get a new one or is it solvable? 

How can I buy just the locking mechanism for the controller? It's a small plastic piece

Headset seems to work fine stand-alone.  I use the headset with IRacing, and often (not always) get a translucent horizontal stripe across the screen after about 15 minutes or so.  It doesn't feel like the headset is overheating.  This doesn't show up on the screen mirror on PC, or if I "mirror" with the debug tool.  Is this likely a failing display or is there somewhere else I should look?

Hi Meta Community,I'm having an issue with my Meta Quest Pro where the left controller refuses to connect to the headset and is essentially not working. Both the headset and controllers are updated to the latest software available. I have tried rebooting and re-pairing, but the left controller still won't connect.Unfortunately, my device is out of warranty, so I’m wondering what options I have.Does Meta offer any kind of out-of-warranty service or refurbished left controllers for situations like this? Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hi, the option to move or create walls when you are in the setup a space has has disappeared, only can add or remove furniture or elements to the walls, but if you are in a open space as a fair or exhibiktion and need to recreate a "box" to simulate a room, you can edit/adjust the walls. Any one can confirm?Alvaro

Starting with v81 an opalescent "jelly bean" shows up on the shut down screens.What's that all about?

I connect my quest 3 headset to some type of type-c dp monitor but can not display quest screen on it, how to do that or what type of type-c display monitor I should use to display quest screen?

I bought a Meta quest at Best Buy and it said it was the Batman bundle but when I look at the games it shows full price for the game. The game was a big reason for buying it, any help would be great, thank you!

  Hello, I recently purchased the Meta Quest 3S 128GB (which includes Batman: Arkham Shadow and a 3-month trial of Meta Quest+) on October 23rd. However, I do not see the option to redeem the game, only the option to purchase it. I’ve checked my emails to see if there was a redemption link sent, but I haven’t received anything. Could you please assist me with resolving this issue? Thank you for your help.

My Metaquest 3 had problem with the Bluetooth, they had problems before so they asked me to send them my metaquest but they sent me back another used ones instead of mine or new ones.They don't have any wayt to talk to them except by chat, which is very annoying and slow to explain everything.I really regret to have chosen Meta instead of a Playstation, because the customer service is rubbish.I am not the only one who has technical problems  

I'm on my third quest 3 (the second in as many months) and something isn't right.When I put it on, Sometimes I see the battery level screen. When I press the power button for 3-4 seconds, it may or may not do anything.  It may show the battery level again and then go black, OR it may show the horizonOS screen for a few seconds and then go black again, OR it may actually start up. Once it has started u and I go to a game (any game) it has a habit of going to a grey screen. It doesn't do this every time, but when it does I'll tap the power button and the screen goes black. Then I have to hold the power button down until it powers down, then I try to start it up again. Both of the units I've had in the last two months have done this.                  Basically, the headset doesn't always turn completely on when the power button is pressed for 3-4 seconds.In addition, a couple of the games I play are acting strange, for example, in Walkabou

Hello! Forgive me if this has a known fix, I haven't been able to find one.So I just got my first VR headset, the Quest 3, and so far everything seems to be working fine, except for one thing. The scale of everything feels a little off whenever I'm in a full screen app, not seeing my environment through the cameras.I kind of lack the lingo to explain it, but, a few examples: In Resident Evil 4 VR, I see my character's hands as larger than mine, and also the whole world (the environment, the characters), everything seems like it's at a different scale, maybe around 15~20% larger than it should be.In videos (on YouTube or other websites that provide 180º or 360º VR videos ( those recorded with side-by-side double cameras to emulate eyes), I feel like things are just as large too.I have tried remaking my boundaries, deleting them from the history and restarting the Quest, setting boundaries again, mapping room, and manually setting the floor level with a controller, and I've tried a few d

I have made my pattern a long time ago and forgot what it was so I went to reset it but it is making me enter the pattern I don’t remember. I would like to not have to factory reset my headset, so please add an option to use your pin the reset/remove the pattern, and if there is already one it will not show for me.

So I need to change my email, name and date of birth on my meta horizon account, as I had originally had it under my mums information and we wanted to guarantee that if I where to change this info on my meta Horizon account it would not change any info on any other accounts under meta such as Facebook, Instagram, meta business or any other accounts under meta

Yesterday, I did factory reset my Quest 1, and after that I wasn't able to go through the installation process on my phone with android Meta Horizon, with the last application installed, 343.0.0.11.106. Stuck after everything else went fine, on the security page, and this happend on three different Android devices.After research, I tried an older one Android application, 276.1.0.22.109 v8, here on apkmirror, and it worked, I found the link here, thanks to Ardes_.Several time you'll have to use the Ignore button regarding your obsolete version, but at least it'll go through the all process, means the security video will at the end make a button appear, and your Quest will be fully installed.The issue on the last app is that the video on the security section don't seem to send info to highlight one text line after one another on the page, and after the last one a button should appear, at least it does on the older Android app. I may think that's a problem with how is used the video

Since update V81 my link cable has stopped working, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, run all updates since last week, updated drivers, enabled access to the BETA, gone to device manager and disabled power saving on the ports. again uninstalled and reinstalled the app. i am still unable to run link with my PC

And how do you fix it?I am lacking the vocabulary to even ask the right question or search for a solution.But it is like the perspective is off a little. and not consistently.As an example, the Getting Started area where you have a circular desk/table around you and you can throw paper airplanes, fly the remote-control blimp, throw the ball, the pull string bottle rockets, etc... the desk is too close and way too high. Like I can rest my chin on the tabletop without moving forward or down.I'm not sure how to recalibrate this as it seems to be better sometimes, and worse at others. It is like the scale and placement of everything is off.Controllers do not point straight forward (which I have found some possible fixes). But, if I hold the controllers like a rifle to play a shooting game, the controllers point about 15 degrees to either side. and holding them up in a position like a real rifle it is about 3-4 inches low. I have been feeling lately like meta quest's universe has so much potential, but something is missing. The worlds feel so hollow and poorly conceived. The houses feel like shells of something that could be more. Don't get me wrong, I think that this Meta Universe is a great start and is going places, but when thinking about my desire for something deeper and purposeful, I had this idea. I am not techy, so please take this all with a grain of salt, but I had to get it out of my system somewhere...The worlds... The worlds need to be fully replaced with official meta quality worlds. Made by them (or approved partners) for the community to enjoy high quality content. By playing and supporting the worlds, you can earn meta coins (or whatever their currency is called) that can be used to make purchases within the meta universe (i.e. decor pieces for your house, or clothing from the existing clothing shopping center). There could be really nice, interactive museums and places to enjoy some so

Since my unit updated a couple days ago the controller randomly just drop/sleep and disconnect in multiple games. Toggling hand tracking does not have an effect. Duration before disconnect  is random but happens most often 10 to 45 seconds. Other buttons and triggers have no effect, only A/B wakes them. Doesn't seem to matter how long ago last trigger press was.Super frustrating, tried changing every setting related to controllers and hand tracking. Changed batteries, rebooted and resetting to defaults also to no effect. No external environmental changes, everything else is identical. Extra frustrating because I did not ask for this update.

Hi,there used to be a “…” button next to the volume slider in the quick menu, where you could control the volume of each application individually.But sadly it’s been gone for a while. Is there a way to get it back or access these settings in a different way?I am using the Quest 3 and checked these versions: v79, v81 and now v83 tooThanks! Eric

My Quest 3 connected to the wrong Wi-Fi during setup. It seems there’s no internet connection, but it still moved on to the next step, “upgrading to the latest software.” Now it’s stuck on that screen.
