Assistance Needed – Developer Mode Issue on Meta App Hi, I’m hoping you can help me resolve a frustrating issue. I’m having trouble enabling Developer Mode through my Meta app. Everything appears to be turned on correctly through my headset, but the app still won’t activate Developer Mode. It keeps saying that I need to be the device owner — which I am. I’ve already tried restarting and reinstalling everything, but the problem persists. Could you please help me troubleshoot and resolve this? Thank you for your time and assistance,

Oke so i hate the update of turning on and off the hand tracking. First it was just pressing the hand traking on and off and it popped up to press turn hand tracking on. Now it is the whole tutorial of how to use hand tracking! it's just annoying as hell. Just want to ask, why meta why did you just changed it its awfull.

TLDR:I'm stuck in passthrough or virtual home, with no menu to interact with. At startup, I sometimes see a popup saying "Settings isn't responding" (Close app/Wait). Virtual home is empty, it just has the mirror showing this blue avatar. Yes, you read that right! The meta quest 3S is capable of night vision.It has infrared cameras and infrared illuminators, making it perfect for night vision. Only thing is I can't find out how to see through the infrared cameras.You can test this yourself by using the space setup feature in pitch black darkness, and it will still work perfectly, allowing you to traverse the room slowly as the scan occurs, even while you can't see your hand in front of your face!I have looked for games and apps that utilise your space to show a different vision mode like Espire 2's espire vision in mixed reality, but this still needs light and is more like a filter, instead of giving you a visual representation of your scanned rooms So long story short is, is there a way to either see through your infrared cameras, which would make this full blown night vision goggles, or to use the scan of your room to give you a visual representation of your space, for example a wireframe of your space while you

This is very small potatoes, compared to issues others report here, but does anyone else encounter a bright, white, LIGHT FLASH after turning on their headset following the Meta logo? It's so annoying and blinding! Can't be good on the eyes to be exposed to it over and over. I close my eyes every time I turn on the headset and wait for it to happen. Even with my lids closed it's still very strong. I wonder why it has to happen and if Meta can stop it... assuming it happens to others on a large scale. It's happened ever since I got my headset 2 years ago and updates haven't stopped it.

In Dynamic Languages for Meta Quest 3 you are supposed to hold the grip button to trigger the microphone and speak.  However, in that app whenever I use either grip button, in brings up the menu.  The Meta button also brings up the menu.  When using the ISS Space station app, the grip buttons on both controllers works correctly.  Is there a fix for this?

I had a pretty lousy experience with customer support surrounding a new 128GB Quest 3S purchase that we made this week. It was our understanding that there is a promo with new Quest 3S headsets (both 128GB and 256GB) that you can get a promotional free copy of Batman Arkham Shadow. The purchase was made on Amazon rather than Meta.com because my son had saved up Amazon gift cards to be able to make the purchase. The listing on Amazon (who is an authorized seller for Meta and from the official "Meta Store" on Amazon) showed an exclusive Gorilla Tag bundle with that different game and perks rather than the standard Arkham Shadow bundle or game that was showing on most other retailer listings for the device. Hello, I’m getting a blackout screen after I washed my eye accessory because it had an odor but I kept it off until it dried all the way but now it’s not working. It’s saying that it’s finding a position and do I want to go in travel mode. I’ve factory reset and rebooted it plenty of times and I’m still getting a blackout screen. I need to speak to someone about this. Because it was working fine last night and now since I washed the eye piece. It’s not working anymore.

It is me or only Owner account has option to connect automatically via link cable when cable plugged into headset.Owner account - cable plugged - cable link connected to PC automatically.2nd account - cable plugged - NO CONNECTION AUTOMATICALLY. It has to be choosed via link menu in Q3.Do I miss something ?regards.PK. 

開封してから2日目なのですが、MetaQuest3の右目の画面が灰色一色のまま映りません。起動ロゴは両目とも表示されるのですが、その後のパススルー画面でこの現象になります。電源OFF、強制再起動、工場出荷時に戻した後に最新アップデートを実行しても直りません。右目が映らない事以外は全て正常動作です。落としたりぶつけたりはしていません。大切に扱っていました。初期不良かと思い購入店舗に持ち込みましたが、「対応できない、Metaサポートセンターに問い合わせて」と断られました。どなたか同じ現象や解決方法をご存じの方はいませんか？

Device: Quest 2Currently up-to-date on v79.1034.Developer settings are enabled.MTP Notification is enabled.I have a cable and port connection that works with other devices to connect storage to my Windows PC. When I connect the Quest 2 with the USB-C cable I receive no notification, no sound, checking notifications manually through the bell icon also doesn't help.This has been an issue since I updated a couple weeks back and I'd rather not reset the headset again however currently I can't access it through USB cable. My PC also doesn't seem to make a sound when I plug it in.

For a long time there was not such a problem. About 3 months ago after a software update, this happened. I thought maybe it was a bug, waited for couple of new updates hoping for a fix but still after many updates it remained same. When i am connected to Wifi, app logos and images disappear. When i turn off wifi or use a VPN on my router, logos are instantly loading and everything works fine. I kinda thought it was like a regional restriction but my friend which has a Quest too, doesnt have any problem like i do.

Hi, I desperately need help. My Horizon Worlds account was taken over about a week ago. My username was Heartburn, but because my password and email were changed without my consent, the intruder swapped the name and took Heartburn for themselves.I have all the receipts and emails of the changes, but I can't log back in. I've been attempting for days to reach Meta support and this is my final hope. I'm freaking out because I'm a Horizon creator and all of it is on that account.The person who stole it is now attempting to ransom my username and sell it for cash. I don't expect to get the name Heartburn back if it's impossible, but please, I just want my account back.Please, can someone from Meta reach out and tell me what I can do?Thank you.

I don't know if it's just me, but I would like to see app folders for the Navigator UI. This would be similar to Android and Apple IOS, where you can choose what apps to be in it. I feel like this would be a great QoL feature for the Navigator UI!

I have a Quest 3, and for some reason, the controllers don't seem to show the correct charging levels.  Both remotes will be charged at 100%.  I am right-handed, and after playing anything using my dominant hand, the right controller will read 100% while the left controller will read 50%.  Anyone else having this issue?  I use rechargeable batteries that came with the official Meta Quest 3 charging dockKayJay

This would be my seventh replacement for my Quest 3 due to various issues I’ve experienced: 1. One speaker was busted. 2. The cameras weren’t working properly. 3. The headset kept crashing. 4. Screen tearing kept occurring. 5. White artifacts appeared on the screen. 6. The chip was acting up. 7. A small plastic piece that holds the head strap in place broke, and the lenses were scratched.Honestly, I’m really frustrated with Meta’s build quality.I do want to note that support has been good—people are nice and helpful—but it’s frustrating that I haven’t really been able to enjoy my Quest 3 since I got it over a year ago. I’m glad I have the two-year warranty, but I’m hoping this next replacement can finally be a brand-new unit, rather than refurbished, so I can have a fully functional device.

Hi all, I'm having what appears to be a common issue, but as with many I'm stuck. In Meta Quest Link Settings->General->OpenXR Runtime, the button is greyed out to "Set Meta Quest Link as Active...".  I'm using a University computer, but have been granted Administrator rights and am running it as the administrator. I have made the registry edit to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1 and set ActiveRuntime to: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json but still no dice. I've check the path, and oculus_openxr_64.json is there. I've rebooted, prayed, spun around 3 times. Please help.System is a Dell Precision laptop with NVIDIA RTX4000. Is all this because the GPU isn't technically supported?  Running Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 26100.6584
