I recently bought a used Meta Quest 3s, it had no problems whatsoever, it was actually working perfectly! The original owner had used it for just a few months. (I did check everything, it was in perfect condition)Anyway, i used it for a few weeks, played a few games, once again (i cannot state this enough) it was working perfectly.One day, after playing with it, i charged it and let it rest on my shelf for a weekYesterday i thought "Oh well, i wan't to play some VR Games", so i put it on, it updated and suddenly it wasn't detecting my controllers anymore. They wouldn't turn on when i grabbed them and the meta app said they were disconnected.I changed the batteries, nothing worked.I cleaned the battery ports, nothing changed.I un-paired them (with the meta app) and now they couldn't 100% pair. The LEDs would flicker, but wouldn't vibrate (even after a billion seconds) nor finish connecting. (It would even display a little UI on my vr saying the controller was updating, but after that, r

I just purchased a meta quest 3 about 2 weeks ago and the screen would turn black when I had it on. I wouldn’t even be able to type in my passcode by the time it turned black. I did what was said to hold the power and volume buttons for 10 seconds and once I did that it turned off and started blowing air from the front side of the headset. I’ve put it on a charger, held all 3 buttons for 30 seconds+ and still nothing. It’s been 10 minutes and it’s still just blowing out air. 

I looked through forums, contacted support. Tried all the steps to reboot and even factory reset and it won’t let me do that, I’m at a loss and don’t know what to do 

How do I link a preexisting child account to my account (parent)?

My child's account (10-12) is no longer linked to mine for some reason.  This just started randomly in the last few weeks.  I bought him a new game for his birthday, but discovered I could not pass it along to him after entering the code.  I have hit a dead end with the Meta Support site.  I have tried logging into his account online, but I cannot get the code to send to his email. He does not remember his password and I get an error message when I try to reset his password. I tried the invite link route, but it only added my account to his headset.  Does anyone know what I can do to get the account linked again in order to gift the game to him?

Hi , I’m currently working with both a Meta Quest 3 and a Varjo XR-4, using the same Unreal Engine VR project (UE 5.7.4). I recently ran into an issue where VR Preview would not work with the Meta Quest 3 . When launching VR Preview, the Unreal Editor preview window opened in a non-VR state, the camera remained fixed with no head tracking, and the headset was stuck on a loading screen (on unreal editor). Hello i have AX3000 Tp Link WIFI 6 router, initially as i setup Quest 3 for the first time steamVR worked flawlessly. But there were 2 automatic updates on my Quest 3 and since when i move around my picture freezes and i see empty black space around me + textures flicker!Steam support wasn't much helpful so far!I am using Air Link and Open XR is handled by Oculus!I tried to reinstall steamVR and meta link app clean! But issue persists.Meta store games work fine! There is 0 traffic on my WIFI 6 router...And i have it in same room i am playing! No other wifi at least from my flat, but it worked flawlessly first time!This issues started happening abruptly after first update! Sometimes starting steamvr or quitting on Quest 3 freezes even my whole pc ( steamVR is known for this supposedly)...Please advice thanks!BTW: How again to tell if updates finished on Quest 3? HMD won't restart, no led flashing, i am not sure if it is safe to turn on, i waited like hour left it charging!&nbs

Is showing me a blank screen when I finish setting my VR up And I waited a whole day from my VR to set up and it didn't set up and I'm super confused why it won't set up it's not broken or anything it just shows a blank screen when I finish setting it up

Hi all, having no success via the support email I thought I’d try here. My son was recently blocked from his account as it claimed he wasn’t 13 and needed to provide ID. He doesn’t have ID but before I even get to that the page requesting ID to be submitted doesn’t work - I click the button and nothing happens, I’ve tried on a browser and in app. No joy. Has anyone had any joy with this? He’s also vanished from under my account page which I previously used to manage his profile. He recently has a birthday so I don’t know if that’s the issue, or that he did the dot passcode and was unable to log back in because of that particular error, but any suggestions welcome or should I just accept the account is lost along with the games on it?

  Everything seems fine so far, but when I charge the headset to 100%, take it off the charger, and turn it off, The headset turns back on and,  by the time I come back to use it,the headset is completely dead. then I have to charge it again and wait for hours before I can use it. What’s going on, and what can I do to fix this?

I purchased the quest 3 over other options for it's cameras and passthrough functions hoping it would assist me between swapping functions between what I'm doing outside the headset and back to what I'm doing on it quite well. But the screen is plagued with a resume experience bar, and no possible way to disable the pop-up. The bar is annoying in how it follows your head around, and messes up depth perception by existing in a different spacing, it's unsafe and unhelpful for the tasks I'm doing. The long and the short of it, I want meta team to add a function to disable the unhelpful"resume experience banner" and if not, is their anyway i could modify my headsets system to remove it?

I want to begin this by saying how dare you meta, I disabled oculus from starting up, closed the window and when I went to terminate the task in my task manager, oculus somehow managed to worm itself into opening again. this is beyond invasive, it's disturbing. If I can't stop oculus from opening down at a command line level, then how do I know you're not scanning my files and reporting them back to your data farms, are you that desperate to see the photos I have saved on my computer you perverts??? this application is no different than a virus, the only difference is instead of holding my files hostage, it's stealing my information and selling it to the highest bidder.

Can we disable Boundary in Quest 3? I know this is possible in Quest/Quest 2. The large contingent of Quest users who Sim race or use flight simulators need our headsets to not be looking for a boundary or doing anything but displaying while we sit in our rigs.

I haven't been checking my email lately, so I completely missed the warning notifications until it was too late.Right now, the account is fully suspended, and I am unable to log in to submit an appeal or verify my age through the standard web portals. Since I can't log in, I'm stuck in a loop and can't access the regular support ticket system either.I am the legitimate owner of the account, well over the required age, and am more than willing to provide my official ID or credit card to confirm my age immediately. Hi guys,Recently, (as of the time of writing this, 7 minutes ago), my hand and controller tracking have not been working ever since I turned on voice control.I was browsing in the settings, I came across "voice control". I thought it would be neat, I could use my words!I learned the tutorial, blah blah blah but after I got out of it, my controller and hand tracking did not work at all. I was stuck with a purple microphone icon and a problem.I tried restarting it, but it only made me stuck at the account selection.Can anyone give me ideas to help me? Thanks!

I'm currently trying to buy blade and sorcery with my quest cash from my gift card and the store keeps saying "error occurred file an appeal" and stuff so obviously I contacted support but no response or change. I still can't buy my games. I am very frustrated with Meta, please fix this ASAP. 

When opening it says "you're was nearing the limit of active memory for this device. Gorilla Tag uses 6GB. Im using a Meta Quest 3

The screen is gray.  I tried to boot the system and didn’t work.   I didn’t try to Reset to factory.   What should I do? one more thing.  When I choose the Device Info the Lock State appears LOCKED.  Thanks in advance for the help

My left Touch Pro controller wont charge, I try to clean the contact patches but nothing changes, I try multiple different outlets but nothing changed, multiple different blocks even though you shouldn't and still its broken, just displays a red dot forever and no haptic confirmation either. No drops or water contact or anything of the such in the past before it happened, it had just been sitting nice and neat in its case.Of course im hesitant to open up my $300 controller that was clearly never designed to be opened, im hoping I dont have to send it to meta and pay more money, what can be done or am i out of luck?
