I've been thinking to buy a external microphone for my quest 3 but I need help if someone can tell me if it would work with this microphone?

For over two weeks now, I’ve been in constant contact with the META Support Team. At first, I felt well taken care of. They gave me the impression that they were actively helping me troubleshoot the issue. They suggested various solutions. I tried every single one and repeatedly sent a report back to support. The result was always the same. After 3–5 minutes of use, the Quest 3 would start to freeze—the edges of the screen would turn black, and the headset and controllers would stop responding. At first, we assumed it was due to settings, drivers, or the application. I want to use the Quest 3 with MSFS 2024. But as it turned out, the "freezing" effect also occurred in the Meta World itself after 3–5 minutes. So it can’t be due to MSFS 2024. Nor is it due to the hardware or internet connection. Because my PC (I9 / 64GB DDR4 5200 / 2 TB SSD / NVIDIA GeForce 5070 Ti / 1000 Mbps download – 50 Mbps upload) is certainly well-suited for using a Quest 3. There’s also another factor:

The other day I put on my headset and had a "Frames Per Second" overlay that appears in the upper middle of my view. I have no idea how it got turned on and I can't find any settings related to it. Does anyone know how to turn it off?  

My new meta quest 3 headset stuck at pairing screen. It displayed 5 digit pairing code but no matter how I tried to pair it with my mobile meta horizon app, I couldn't make it works. I tried tons of ways, tons of times, it still didn't work. I even sidelined latest firmware from cocaine.trade, it still didn't help. Connected it to force it manually updated using meta software updated tool, it didn't work either. I contacted meta support, they tried to help but couldn't. Anyone have any idea of what is going on with the headset, please share with me. Thanks!

Son's Oculus 2 will not allow him to bring up menu.  He can access the lobby, but can't play anything or get into settings.  We tried to sideboot update, but my pc couldn't find the headset.Any ideas or suggestions?  

Hey meta!although this feature is enabled on WhatsApp, it would be a great deal if introduced to Instagram as well!! Would really appreciate it. Atleast on WhatsApp we can choose our contacts but on instagram we cant and many people misuse pictures nowadays. PLEASEEEEE METAAAA BRING THIS FEATUREE ON INSTAGRAMMMM. thankyou :p

Hello Meta Team,I would love to see Resident Evil 4 Remake VR and Resident Evil Village VR released on Meta Quest.These titles have huge popularity and strong demand in the VR community. I truly believe they would become top sellers on the platform and generate even more revenue than the classic version of Resident Evil 4 VR.Personally, I had started to feel bored with gaming, but playing Resident Evil brought back my passion and excitement again.Bringing these games to VR would attract many new players and significantly boost engagement and sales.Please consider making this happen. I recently built a computer and trying to get Meta app and Steam VR to make connections. It has an error message on top that says my "computer doesn't meet the updated minimum requirements" is there a way to get better detail what this means? I have i9 12th Gen, 128 gb ram, NVidia 5070, 1TB SSD, windows 11 Pro and tplink ax3000 for airlink. Besides that error message when I try to connect it gives me a pairing code in VR to link but on the PC App nothing pops up, then eventually my PC will error out and tell me failed and request a new code. It knows it's trying to connect but without the code I can't link.

When I try to log in to Meta Quest Link on my computer, I'm redirected to a page in my browser. However, nothing happens in the Meta Quest Link app itself, and the connection fails. Please help me resolve this issue.

Extremely complex game purchase center, rejects various payment methods and cards, too complex. Even with the help of agents, spent over 3 hours and in the end failed to purchase the game. The glasses work great, but it greatly reduces the experience in their store. Mostly, you lose the will to live and feel like screaming😭😠🤯🤦‍♂️

Hi I am new to VR, I just bought a Quest 3 516gb and am trying to connect it to my PC,  it's a Aftershock Ryzen 7700 + RX9070XT+ 32GB Ram. I connected my headset to pc using Type-C cable to 3.2 C-type at the back of my computer. I tested the connection speed, shows 2.9gps. But when I link the headset via cable or Wi-Fi to my pc all I see is a graphic white and gray screen, everything is jerky and Meta store screen and my controller pointers keeps appearing and disappearing. I have tried removing the devices and reinstalling the devices but same thing happens. The software is updated to the latest.So I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or missing something out, appreciate your help Thank You

I had added 15 dollars to my quest cash account and the added a gift card when I try to buy a pass that it’s not a subscription it says that the al purchase can’t be completed for my security. I emailed meta many times and they won’t help me with the problem. Now I have money sitting there without being able to use it 

earlier this week (October 18, 2025), my quest 2 headset has stopped appearing in file explorer and I cannot access it to get my photos, videos, or add mods to games. All other guides for fixing this issue are at least 3 years old and do not work as of 2025.

Anybody else having this issue where the headset shows as paired in the Meta Horizon app after a factory reset, but it’s NOT paired on the website at all?I’ve tried a lot of things and still couldn’t fix it. I reached out to support, but their solution was just to factory reset the headset again—which I’ve already done multiple times.I made sure to connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network, followed the factory reset process correctly, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app. Now I’m stuck on the pairing screen on the headset.

Hello , i try to play to vr game with steam link but steam link don't want to work , i explain :When i launch steam link it say "local network only"  but , i'm on a local network , i have the same wifi on pc and my meta , on pc i'm with cable to get wifi When i launch steam VR my meta can connect , so i click connect but it's put me on an infinite load so i just can't connectThe last time i play a games on vr was 1 month ago so it work , but not now , i try a lot of thing i found on internet on what a friend told me- Restart my Router- Put my wifi private-Disable Protection for wifiI ping the ip of my meta on the cmd and it's say it work well but steam link don't wantSo can u help me pls !

i have been trying to connect my meta quest 2 vr headset to the application so it can function but when i enter the code on the application it say's it couldnt pair with my headset i thought it was a software problem so i went to Sideload update and tryed to update it but everytime i reach 50% it disconect itself and stop working i tryed multiple times still same issue

This afternoon I checked the settings and it showed I had a pending update I accepted it and put my headset aside to let it work. Once I put it back on it was stuck on a grey screen.I already : factory reset it, updated it using the web tool, let it rest and charge it to 100%Then I gave up and tried to ask for help the meta website keeps telling me my account has no devices associated, but I actually have the Meta App in my cellphone and the device is actually linked.I'm going insane I bought this for Christmas and now suddenly is not working after installing an update and the website doesn't let me contact customer serviceWhat options do I have?

Been playing ancient dungeons for a while and I recently upgraded from the 2 to the 3s my most recent progress will not transfer over I've tried backup and restore multiple times I can't get the most up to date back up to restore the progress I've made one the quest 2. Its only 10% progress but it was late game progress and time consuming.  

I own an Oculus 1 headset that works perfectly fine.I just bought a second-hand Oculus 2 headset. It was factory reset by the seller.To initialize it, I turned it on, entered the Wi-Fi password, completed two or three updates, and it displayed a 6-digit code that I need to enter on my phone in the Meta Horizon app.So, I installed the app on my smartphone, and it immediately recognized my Oculus 1 (battery level, etc.), but I can’t connect the Oculus 2.I also installed the app on my PC and connected everything with a cable (USB 2, as I don’t have USB 3).The PC recognizes the headset, but the headset remains stuck on the screen with the 6-digit code.It suggests connecting to an organization, but I’m not part of one ;)Do you have any ideas to help me out of this situation?

Like seriously, they are poorly made.   SO many people online have issues and then are expected to pay to replace them once the warranty is out.  Our controllers are past warranty.  The left controller lost tracking and the right controller's joystick busted.  I replaced the joystick - saw the internals.  When Opening the left controller, the antenna was missing.   I am realizing that it is an internal antenna. Is it normal to purchase a set and receive differently made controllers?  One with an antenna and one internal?  A lot of controllers that people have tracking issues with have the internal antenna that easily breaks.  But seriously, why would they send two different ones?  

It won't let me set up a stationary boundary, I went to settings and reset boundaries but still it will not let me set up.

would you provide a way to totally turn off spacewarp and other reprojection techs?everything stutters by them.Its a stuttery hell
