Hi! I've multiple topics I wanna share in this thread. 1. The Bonus Time for July 2025 is showing but in the wrong month, its currently displayed for August 2025. The August Bonus Time for Headset & Mobile does not show up. 2. I'm very confused if it comes to the Bonus Time period.According to the documentation it's 1. until 28 of each month. But now in my Bonus Time panel says Bonus Period for July ended on 1. August Does this mean we still get paid for the last days of each month? Or what happens with the missing days between 28 and the last day of each month?According to this Screenshot we get paid from 1. to last day of each month. If it only counts from 1 to 28, what is happening with the last missing days of each month? Will they be added to the next month? Or are they just gone without any reward? Would be super nice if we all getting more transparency according to these topics. Thats it for now :)Thanks!
Hi all!I would like to restrict my player to move side to side only, not forward or back. Is there a way to do that? If so, can I limit my player to how far side to side? For example, subway surfer, user can only go side to side on certain amount of lanes. The user isn't moving the player forward at all, it does it himself (or the world is coming to the player)

Is there any way to get Gen AI to generate seamless textures? At least on a hexagon I can't get it to work.
Hi all, I am trying to set up a durable IWP for my game LZR[X] with a test object at 0 meta credits, but I cannot get it to work.In the editor it tells me "Purchasing unavailable. Purchasing is only currently available in Meta Horizon Worlds VR" and when published "There was an error with purchasing 'object'. Please try again later". Surely this isn't the case as how can consumable-based games work?Essentially what I want to happen is that players can purchase equipment before starting a game. At the moment I have 8 lasers that can be 'grabbed', but it is a bit of a clunky system and eventually I want to scale it so players can arm themselves, grab power-ups and different bits of equipment is available.I am on the MHCP. You can see the issue if you head over to the right-most leaderboard here. It's intentionally not obvious atm https://horizon.meta.com/world/1943738609728861
Who can help me? I would like to transfer items from Sketchfab to Horizon to use in worlds, but I can't do it. I've tried this via Blender (4.3/4.4), but I can't get any further than downloading an item in GLBT or something and then ending up on a Blender screen. I've already tried several ways, but every time I try to import it into my item list, Horizon doesn't accept it. I've already watched videos, but I can't figure this out either. It's not explained clearly enough for me, and my English isn't that great. I can convert structures to PNG for my worlds, that's no problem, but it's purely about 3D items like houses and objects.
Hi everyone. I published a world tonight and noticed that after it was published the triggers weren't working. When a player walks into the trigger it triggers voice or music. The triggers work fine in edit mode. Any ideas how to fix this?
Hi all, I'm having an issue with the OnPlayerEnterWorld event not firing in my world. Here's my code snippet: import * as hz from 'horizon/core'; class TestScript extends hz.Component<typeof TestScript> { static propsDefinition = {}; start() { console.log("Hello world!") this.connectCodeBlockEvent(this.entity, hz.CodeBlockEvents.OnPlayerEnterWorld, (player : hz.Player) => { console.log("HEY THE PLAYER JOINED THE WORLD!"); }) } } hz.Component.register(TestScript);I can see the "Hello World" String in the console, but I do not see the "HEY THE PLAYER JOINED THE WORLD!" string after I click the "Enter Preview Mode" button in the editor. I attached this TestScript to an empty game object in my world, and I have the script executing in "Default" mode.I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I'd appreciate any advice!
I have been experimenting with the in world shop gizmo with the commerce mechanics. While the World shop itself works fine, I'm confused about the IWPSeller gizmo. When putting the IWPSeller gizmo into my world and configuring it to a single item and setting it as a trigger/button.I get this menu pop-up when triggering the interaction with the IWPSeller:I don't see any options to purchase the single item in-world and it just tells me to load it on a VR headset. Is this intentions? Are we only supposed to use this Gizmo for VR worlds?Note: I am testing this within the Horizon World Desktop editor.
Hello,There seems to be a new update as of today that broke Custom UI for my world. Another user in the discord also reported similar issue. This seems to happen when the world has many local custom UI with bindings. Some of the bindings stop working and some UI will not load asset or slow to load image asset. And I use Focused Interaction to pan my camera, this becomes laggy with this new issue. Note this issue is not seen with a simple world with a few local UI and bindings. Only ones with many UI local UI with bindings.
Frustrating to see that my stats (Insight and Milestone) have not been updated in about a week. I can see from the leaderboards in my Galactic Treasure Hunt game that I had a lot of visitors recently so would love to see the stats. My understanding is that the stats are supposed to be updated daily with a 2 day delay?
Hello,🖐 I installed the Worlds Desktop Editor from the official website, and it was working fine initially. I downloaded it the day before yesterday and was able to use it for about a day without any issues. However, now when I try to open the application, nothing happens. It seems like it's attempting to launch, but it doesn’t fully open, I am stuck on a black screen. Before this issue started, it repeatedly prompted me to log in—despite already being logged into Facebook. I’ve tried restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and checking for updates. I also installed the version from the Link store, which launched successfully, but it didn’t log me into my account nor did it prompt me to. I’ve searched through the forums and tried the suggested solutions, including making sure my drivers are fully updated, but the problem still persists. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.🤙 Thank you.
Hello,We’ve noticed that the Estimated June Bonus Earnings have not updated since June 17th, 2025. Normally, this data updates with a two-day delay, so we’re concerned that it may no longer be tracking correctly. As we rely on this data to calculate payments for our developers, we would appreciate it if you could look into this issue at your earliest convenience.Additionally, another company informed us that they don't see the option to sign up for the June bonus, even though the signup period should still be open until the end of today. Could you please clarify if the signup has closed early?Best regards,DreamArchitects
I see leaderboards are broken on the Android mobile app today. When I click on the finger icon I expect to zoom into a leaderboard but instead it disappears.
I've copied the script from this tutorial pageMeta Developersthe second line has this code blockimport * as hz from 'horizon/core';import { UIComponent, View, Text, Binding, } from "horizon/ui";When i put it in my script i get this error: Cannot find module 'horizon/ui' or its corresponding type declarations. What is happening here?
I'm looking at adding Scripted Avatar NPCs to my worlds. I'm looking at Meta Developers example 1 which should be suffice as I will know the coords the avatars should move. However with the example test script I get the following error:"Failed to call method 'start' on script component instance: Error: Exception encountered running bridge method 'AgentLocomotionMoveToPath': Locomotion is not supported on this entity"Any ideas on how to make this work? I've reported it as a bug to meta via the editor.
Is there a way to have spatial CUI fill the full screen? I had no issue in desktop, but in VR could not get it to fill screen.I tested using width and height above 100%, tried all kinds of sizes, changed scale and was not able to find a way.It is useful to have fullscreen for certain effects, were a box would look odd. I am assuming you can use spatial and attach to head, but not sure, would be odd to have to go that route though.
I had a day off today and I spent most of it visiting Horizon Worlds games on my mobile phone. Most of the ones I liked I could see how to develop (well if I was working with a good artist!). One or two seemed to use features unavailable to most creators (video or clothing for example). The Yeet Yourself game seems to do wildly different things with the Worlds engine than anything else I've seen. But my main question is how some worlds did such good work with animated waterfalls/water spray and animated fire. Are there any good tutorials on water and fire?
Not really sure what is happening, all of my scripts are gone from my scripts tab. I cant access them in build mode on the VR nor the desktop editor.
Is there a reason why my “Milestone Rewards” going down and not up?
Hello, anyone have a russian roulette table script to share? Thanks
Hi,I have an FBX model (just a simple plane) to which I’ve assigned vertex colors in 3ds Max using Assign Vertex Colors > Lighting Only. The colors are visible in both 3ds Max (using Object Properties > Vertex Colors) and Blender (in Vertex Paint mode), but they have no effect in Horizon Worlds. I assumed Horizon Worlds would use vertex colors for shadows and lighting as stated in the documentation: “Horizon’s lighting solution (RTK) uses vertex colors to add lighting information to the scene.”Could you please guide me on how to use them for shadows and lighting?Setting for creating vertex colors based on lighting in 3ds MaxViewing vertex colors in 3ds MaxViewing vertex colors in blenderImporting the model to Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor
What determines grip points in custom meshes? For example, if I make FBX models of a gun or a cup, bring it to Horizon World Desktop Editor, how do I make sure that when user grabs, the object ends up being held exactly how I need it to be held?I am also wondering whether it's possible to set a pose on the grabbing hand, for hand to align with the object being grabbed.
I am wondering if two-handed gripping of an object supported in Horizon Worlds (holding a large axe or big weapon or pulling large object with both hands grabbing it, etc.)
