I bought a Quest 3S less than 2 weeks ago, and tonight it wouldn’t turn on with the power button. Did all the recommended troubleshooting with holding the buttons to reset. Nothing. Did not try factory reset from the app yet. I only know the power button is the problem because I logged into the app on my phone and tried to cast to it to test it. It cast to the headset, and a message popped up in the headset to press the power button to cast. Tried, but nothing. Frustrating.was hoping for a solution before attempting the factory reset or returning it.
Hello, I'm still having a problem with my Quest 2; the screen is black. I've rebooted it and done a factory reset, but the problem persists. What should I do?
I've read many articles, posts, and websites about this issue. Everything says to "set OVRServer_x64 to Power Saving mode." I've done that multiple times. I've also re-installed the Oculus app, twice. I've re-downloaded all my NVIDIA and AMD drivers. I have no clue what to do. Quest link worked a week ago, now it doesn't.I can add desktop panels, and use them, but I can't see my desktop. Any help would be appreciated.-------------------My specs:Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (10.0, Build 22631)Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 8-Core Processor 8/16Motherboard: ASRock B650M-CRAM: 32 GBGraphics card1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB)Graphics card2: AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (512 MB)
【Environment】・Device: Meta Quest 3S・Referral Type: Headset Referral Program・Region/Store: Japan【Situation】・I own two Meta accounts. - Account A: The account I normally use on Meta Quest 3 - Account B: An account with no headset usage history・After logging into the web version with each account to check, the “Referrals” tab was only visible on Account A.・Therefore, I determined Account A was the account capable of issuing referral links and sent my family a Quest 3S referral link from Account A.・My family member clicked that referral link, created their own Meta account, and completed the Quest 3S setup.・After setup completion, Meta Credits were correctly awarded to the family member's account.・However, Meta Credits were not awarded to my Account A, the referring account.[Confirmed Details]・Confirmed the family member used my referral link.・Re-logged into both the Meta Quest app and browser on Account A and checked the Wallet/Credit balance, but no referral credits were displayed.・Shoul
Hello,I work for an educational institution, and we recently lost the phone number used to engage in 2FA. Is there a way to contact support or change the phone number associated with the 24 headsets in our fleet? We are unable to log into the accounts since we need the 2FA to log in. Can someone please provide assistance or direct me to someone who can help? Thank you!Best wishes,K. Sagan
For the better part of a year both mine and my friends link apps have been freezing, after checking the internet we’ve seen others had the same issue since v76, the first image is off to the side and and the second shows where the “screen” freezes on the final frame of my game
So me and my girlfriend got 2 meta quest 3’s and i forgot when it happened but hers just didn’t boot up, and when it did it was going through the boot loop, i did the shut down method, i did the charge for 2 hours and the factory reset method, and i looked into the device info and it says it’s locked, i have the serial number and i don’t know what else to do besides contacting you.
I wears my mask Meta Quest 3 on my head and for the first time they asked me to write an acces code if not, i can't enter in my game. I have a sevond count for my wife. When i use hed session, she has all information like i had deux days ago. I don't know my solution. I need help
Was able to get the confirmation code upon setting up account on desktop computer, however when trying to log in through the Meta Quest app, it does not send 6 digit confirmation code. Have been trying for the past 3 hours, for a $400 product this has been VERY frustrating to just be able to look at this paper weight.
Hello, I registered as a PTC some time ago. I didn't like it, so I left again. Of course, I kept the PTC 83v firmware because you can't remove it until the next official version comes out. Today was using the VR and noticed that there's now a stable version 83v. However, my software shows that it was created on "12.11.25". That version wasn't released then, but this December. How am I supposed to understand that?
Been having an issue with logging in. Been passed around like an unwanted Christmas bread. 7 different support persons all asking for information. I send it, only to be contacted by yet another support person asking for the same or different information. No resolve! We used to be able to call and talk with a human. How much more money does Meta have to make to give proper support to the folks that made them so rich. Thumbs down ten times over. I expect better Markie. WTF!
Since upgrading to the Quest 3 I'm having trouble getting the hand tracking to start when I wake the headset and when I start an app that uses hand tracking. Frequently when I put on the headset, waving my hands in front of the cameras does nothing. Also at times when the hand tracking is working in the main interface, when I launch an app that can use hand tracking, the app doesn't show my hands being tracked. The only thing I've found so far that seems to work is picking up one or both controllers so they become active and visible--then putting them down when I see the hand tracking is in effect. Unsuccessful things I've tried are changing the hand tracking delay setting, putting it in and out of sleep, and restarting the headset. Continuing to wait and wave does nothing.Previously with the Quest 2, I could just put on the headset and wave my hands, then the hand tracking would start reliably and stay active as long as I didn't start moving a controller around. Everything else about t
As in the title, when it still has around 100% charge left on its own battery, my Quest 3 keeps giving intermittent notifications, presumably because the charge on my ES with B's charge has run down to 0%.I've tried disabling the notifications I can find in the Quest 3 settings, but the only way I've found of shutting it up, so far, is to physically disconnect the headstrap from it. This can't be the best way to do it, surely?Cheers in advance for any help.
Please help me help my friend. She's in Turkey and I'm in the states. She has bought her Quest 3 yesterday after hearing me talk about mine . I was helping her set up her account through the Meta Horizons app. She made her account, set up her avatar, went to put in my referral code and it did not work. Then she checked her email and had a letter saying that she's been suspended! No explanation for what she supposedly did wrong. She can't even access the app now! She is stressed out and I'm stressed out for her. We can't find a phone number anywhere to call support. Is she really going to have to click some dumb link and explain herself, then wait god only knows how long for a response? If that's the case, I think she's going to return the Quest and I wouldn't blame her a bit. She hasn't even turned it on yet! This is ridiculous!
my meta quest 2 is broken. i have been trying to contact support about this issue for some (>6) hours now but every route tells me there are no devices associated with my account. perhaps this is true: meta's account management practices are grotesque and repulsive and i have several login pairs which are hard to differentiate. when i try and link my device to my account by serial number, i am told "Support is not available for this device." i now cannot use my device in any way.this is unacceptably poor customer service.
i bought my quest 3, let me do what i want with it. this also limits our ability to repair our own devices and even more so by blocking the disabling the com.oculus.updater. so your happy pushing out faulty updates (which the oculus team have admitted doing) with no way to go back if things screw up, then wait for weeks to get it fixed, wasting time, money and energy transporting the headset back and forth via delivery when in reality all that couldve been done was allow bootloader unlocking and restoring the device to factory default settings. its honestly insulting to me as someone whos worked on devices for years, to see practices like this still in place and not being able to repair the device i bought. i want to come back in 10-20 years and actually be able to use it or have the tools at my disposal to fix it if needed. i cannot for the life of me reccomend these devices to any of my customers until this has been rectified. ive advised them to go with samsung or wait until the val
The title kind of explains my problem. So I need some help with this. Btw similar problem happens at Meta Quest 3 strap pin broken | Meta Community Forums - 1338312.
I've had my Oculus 2 for quite some time now, but recently I haven't been able to use it to play any games. When in the main hub the audio works fine coming out of the device, but the moment I open steam and try playing any of my games like I would before such as Beat Saber and BOXVR the audio stops working. If I look on my pc I am able to see that it says "Steam Link Audio is disabled one or more steam streaming audio endpoints are disabled"I have gone through all of my computer's settings to make sure everything is enabled and that I have the computer set to the correct audio output when playing, steams settings, meta quest phone and computer app, and the oculus's settings themselves and nothing works. I have even factory reset my Oculus to see if that would fix it, but no.I've also tried connecting wirelessly and wired to the PCHow can I fix this??
My son’s meta quest 2 is coming up with this message every time he turns it on and is not loading up. Any tips please??
My two kids have got a Quest 3 and a 3S each respectively - I started by just creating different profiles under the same account but they want to play games together at the same time - which doesn’t feel like it’s possible via profiles. So if I create a new account, aside from having to potentially buy games twice, is it possible to manage them both via my Meta Horizon app? What’s the easiest way to manage things?
How do I make it so that if I want to call someone in our group chat, it doesn’t call everyone?
I recently purchased a Quest 3 (having owned one before just after release and don't remember having this issue).I have automatic updates off and never put the headset to sleep, I always turn it off.I've noticed a couple of times now on passing the headset, that I can hear the fan going full blast when the headset is off, black screen, and it takes a long press of the power button to stop the fan, which also turns on the device. If I had not done this, the battery will have probably completely drained (strap with battery was already at 0%).Is this a known issue, or do I need to return the headset?
I sent you guys my headset and my controllers because it had the black screen of death and I wasn’t able to fix it, and today I got only and only the headset back
Hey, I’m asking for help with the PIN feature on my meta quest 2. I had it in use then when taken off and set on a table for a minute to tend to other matters and returning it asked me for a pin and I was never aware of making one. So I turned it off and reset it and it was still there, then I tried resetting the PIN and my password which I found was different from the pin. I ended up factory resetting it from the site showing my devices then tried to get back on and the pin feature was still there. I tried to reset it on the headset manually and it says no command. I’ve now left it alone for some weeks hoping it would return to normal and it hasn’t. It’s still asking for a pin showing my account even though it’s factory reseted. Help?
