On Win 11. I try to log into Meta quest app, and get redirected to browser meta log in page.After receiving code on email, I'm required to paste 2fa code which i do not have (I specifically did not set 2fa).Using my meta horizon app (gladly I'm logged in there) I cannot turn off 2fa because page where it is done is simply blank.There's no workaround since I cannot change anything via meta horizon app, and cannot login elsewhere.P.S I do not have any other live meta account (instagram etc)

I had a search and couldn't find the answers to this, so hopefully someone here can help.I want to stream my quest 2 games onto my PC so when playing other people can watch what the user is seeing on my projector. I know the standard way is airlink, but unfortunately where I live the Wi-Fi is not great. So I want to know if it's possible with the cable. I know I can stream with the cable if I link to the Meta app on my PC, and that does work well. But the problem then is that I want to stream Quest 2 games that are installed on my headset, rather than games I have installed on my PC. So, can I stream Quest2 games downloaded from the quest store and installed on my headset to my PC, via cable? TIA!

Hello! Since yesterday, A game I've been trying to install would immediately stop installing by itself. For example,I would click install, and it would say like 0/400 MB downloaded, then it would pause at that for a few seconds before it cancels itself.For some background information, I was able to play an early access version of the game before it released, and it worked perfectly fine before.This happened ever since the game released to the public, when I tried to the update the game it didn't work. When I tried restarting and powering off my headset and then updating again it didn't work. To try to solve it I tried to switch the version of the game to live release from the beta build and uninstalled and installed the game but now it wouldn't even install anymore. I did everything from checking my storage to make sure I had enough storage (I have enough to download 100 of that game), checking my wifi to make sure I have a stable wifi connection, making sure my headset was fully

My s3 headset has an error message and I can’t pair it to work?

Hello My Problem is. I can connect my MetaQuest3 via w-lan and it shows up in the quest link app as connected. I can use remote desktop via w lan and cable without any problems. But when I try to air link my Quest3 via cable or w-lan to my pc the App says that my headset cannot be found. I tried uninstalling all and also pur my quest3 back to factory reset but nothing solves the problem. What can I do?

I am really sorry if I have missed a previous post explaining what I am obviously missing but I think I have read a lot of articles now pretty much all suggesting the same things which I think I have done already.I bought the quest 3 a couple of months ago and had no issues with playing games both stand alone on the headset or via steam using SteamVR mainly as the airlink option seemed unnecessary. I have worked away from home quite a lot over the last month so not had the time to get back in to anything on VR but I have since tried and cannot connect anymore to SteamVR with the error codes 450 and 451 coming up ("host not responding" or "headset connect to host PC but not streaming video". I have ensure everything is updated and even uninstalled both the meta App and STeam VR plus restoring the headset to factory settings (including wiping all META and Occulus folders from C Drive).I have restarted the router but this is still on whatever settings I had previously when it worked

Hi,There's going to be some ranting, I'm sorry, but I just can't keep seeing what my otherwise almost perfect flow of using Quest 3 went into with the last update.The last update made passthrough a really annoying experience. First of all, this flying popup saying "Wow, did you know that your EXPERIENCE is running in the background? Wow, you can come back to it by clicking here, not just by double taping the headset now! But you can't just close it, because we hate you!".Now some context: I'm using Quest 3 pretty much the whole day every day, I only put it off when I'm eating or when I go to shower or sleep. So obviously I spend quite some time in passthrough mode to make myself tee, fetch a snack etc. Now this flying popup is following my view, which is extremely annoying, but it also blocks the view, so it's even more annoying when you are doing something on the kitchen, look down only to see this stupid announcement to block things that I actually need to see.Who thought that's a go

So with my quest 3s vr I have had it for about 2 years and my right controller is turning on but is not visible and i have tried everything taking out the batteries and factory resetting the headset etc I just need someone to tell me what the problem is or how to fix that problem because my left controller works perfectly fine.  

Hello I m really struggling to rest my 2FA on my Quest 2 Account , I do not have access to the device originally registered , I have followed all the relevant guides however i a m still unable to access my device or account , I have tried to verify my device with support but the serial number is not recognised...Why is this so difficult to rest Please help urgently!

        A couple days ago, I went to use my Meta Quest 3(I haven't used it in about five months prior). When I opened it, it says I was logged out, and said I needed to log back in by sending an 8-digit code to my phone's Meta Horizon app. When I opened the app on my phone, it said my account was disabled. I figured out on my own that it was because I didn't use my real age. So, since I can't do anything on my Quest 3 without an account, and my accounts disabled, I'm soft-locked out of my own Quest. I checked my emails, and I figured out that I got an email from Meta about four months ago. It basically said that if I don't verify my real age by November 5th, I'll never be able to use my account again. The problem is that I almost never spend time checking my emails, so I never saw the message. I thought I could just delete my account, and I hoped that it would get me off the screen. How can i be banned 30 days when i not have try game because i not can connect meta quest 3 s yet. 

Hi, so I recently installed VDD and I mistakenly installed Virtual Audio Drive, and ever since then my Meta Quest 3 won't detect/play back audio from my computer, my computer still plays back audio fine it's only when I use Remote Desktop that I have a problem... I already tried pressing disable audio drive, uninstall virtual audio drive and reset drive on VDD and the problem persists, any idea for a fix of this?

Recientemente adquirí unos meta quest 3s y sin problemas pude contactar con soporte, pero hoy quise volver a contactar con ellos y sale que no tengo dispositivos en mi cuenta, probé con el número de serie, con mi correo y nada.Y creo que por eso deriva también el problema que estoy teniendo de que no puedo transmitir el contenido de mi visor a la página web, solo por la aplicación del celular, porque en la página web no salen mis dispositivos 

My Quest arrived today, but it's stuck with three loading dots on the screen. After a while of "loading," it simply shuts down and doesn't even give me the option to configure anything.

My quest 2 was soft locked and unusable. The official meta support reccomened to factory reset my device. This did work but In turn I lost the majority of my games and probably my progress as well. Is there a way to fix this? If not can I at least get my money back

Hi All, I've had a meta account for a while now and obviously set up MFA on it, SMS in particular. What it looks like I've never done is made a copy of my recovery codes.  When I attempt to log in, it states it is going to send an SMS and I get nothing. I created a new account and attempted to get help, but the help centre isn't exactly helpful to be able to create a case, so thought I would come here to see if anyone has any ideas. Paul 

 I didn't use my headset for a while but left it on the charging dock. It looks like they auto -updated the system to the newest version .( Auto- update check and sleep mode update are checked . ) V71 seems to have completely broken my left controller. It won't pair again , and it's not tracking at all .Actually , the V71 controller update caused the issue . They were paired and connected when the system update was completed . But after the controller update, the left controller started not working , and the controller icon turned into a "not connected " icon when the update was finished .Strangely, It was showing "Left controller is connected" via bubble messages.To try to fix the issue, I tried to reboot my left controller , and it connected for 2 - 3 seconds, during which I saw the dot at menu that tracking was working for a very brief moment before the disconnected icon appeared on the UI panel again. I decided do clean process steps from online guides .1.

Can't login to my original account (@BlindSniper) because i don't have a recovery code and when I ask for confirmation code to my phone number it never arrives. I know all of my details - email, password etc.But I can't login because Meta can't send a code. I'm locked out because I "sent too many requests".Well, I wouldn't if you would send me the first one. I created this whole new account just so I can access Oculus. But now I can't access my library with my purchased apps because guess what - all of them are tied to my original account (: 

 How to disable worlds app???I DO NOT give consent to have access to my photos and videos or microphone yet you cannot turn the toggle off. How to uninstall the absolutely Junk worlds apps showing in my apps I never asked for or installed. Cluttering up my apps folder with junk I'll never use. I'll never go into horizon worlds.And why every update does the messenger app and WhatsApp appears back on my device.Can you stop putting in junk we just don't want? And have to try to uninstall every update! Can't wait for valves new headset. Bye bye meta! Fed up with them putting junk on there I do not want or ever use.  Sort it out!  Sell it back to the oculus guy. He won't put this junk on!

I own a quest 2 and recently purchased a used quest 3s from a friend.Ive rarely used either since buying them as I was hit with motion sickness.  Also had spine surgery in April and list my mobility. Mainly I've been buying games and collecting interesting Free ones.Today I opened the meta app and accidently clicked on something and a popup stated that:My account was restricted due to several violations against their conduct in Vr experiences policy. And can't access world's. And to check my email for further details.Checked email, spam folder etc. Ive never received an email about any violations nor anything else.Ive never entered any worlds and only briefly played a fishing game i purchased. Tops I've played nor more than 10 to 15 minutes. That's it.How to I get this rectified and see the violations that occured and when? Im beginning to think my account was hacked.Help!!!

Desperately need help linking these two.  We set up the Meta Horizon accounts for his meta quest first with me as the primary parent, and him as child, I've set up his privacy permissions, etc.  THEN he couldn't access Gorilla Tag private room with a friend so we read bout K-ID, I've now set that account up using the same profile name for him but it is not connected so Meta Quest doesn't know he has permissions.  He has NOT received an age verification request through the Meta Headset and NOWHERE in the family center do I see anyway to connect these two accounts/profiles.  All of the instructions online say to go to supervision and privacy settings inthe family center but this does not solve my problem.  Please Help - signed frustrated GenX parent so sick of all this tech.....

When i recently updated before version 7 the quest 2 the battery was fine staying 100% til recently it has gone down like not staying the quest 2

A while ago, I bought replacement parts for my Quest 3, specifically the IR emitter and receiver, because I got the Black Screen of Death. After the parts arrived, I replaced them, and the BSoD persists. I've already tried looking at the hardware, and everything looks in tact. I've also tried factory resetting the headset, but nothing changed. I want to try fast boot mode, but I'm afraid that my headset will get bricked. I can't look at the settings via USB - C, but because of the factory reset, the setting was switched off. What else can I try to fix it, and is fast boot mode a viable option?
