lately ive been trying to play some half life alyx on steam vr but for some reason the audio wont work on my computer even after trying factory resets and all solutions i thought of does anyone know exactly what i could do or would this problem be better sent to steam and not quest?

dcs world I am trying to activate hand tracking but requires developer runtime to be enabled.Under Beta settings developer runtime does not show! only 3 items appear - 'Restart Meta Quest Link', Public Test Channel', Demo Mode

I made a meta quest 2 account and 6 or 7 months later it got suspended and the website tells me to use the email that was sent by meta but I NEVER EVEN GOT AN EMAIL FROM META like what?????!!!!! Anyways I’m trying to get a solution to use my meta quest 2 and find the appeal form for doing absolutely nothing whatsoever 

Meta sent me an email saying my account was reported to have violated their code of conduct and has been restricted. I had given my friend's 11 year old daughter my headset to use for a bit, and she says she only explored worlds and chatted with her friends there. I requested an appeal using the link in the email Meta sent me, and they replied within minutes saying they had reviewed the case again and confirmed I breached their policies so the restriction on my account remains. How do I know what exactly happened so I can avoid another breach in policy? How do I confirm this isnt just someone randomly or maliciously reporting my account for no reason? It is not fair on users for Meta to accuse them of breaching their policies without saying which exact policy was breached or giving evidence such as a screenshot or video recording to support their claim. This seems like a wrongful accusation to me. I only just bought my Meta headset about two months ago and I'm unhappy to be finding mys

so I was playing a game and my oculus 2 shut off at nearly full power then I tried to turn it back on and it turned on but only one eye was showing gray and then it shuts off then I turned it back on and it did the same thing it won't show any logo only one eye is turning on I tried to get the boot menu but it won't let me do that either I can't even do a factory reset cause all it will show is gray in one eye and I'm confused why it's doing this is been a few weeks and still does it today so can you help me on this?

I like being able to tap my controllers to swap to hand tracking. However, for a few updates now, my hand tracking has always automatically swapped whenever my controllers became still, or if I set them down. This is regardless if I have automatic hand tracking disabled or enabled, but only happens if tap controllers to activate hand tracking is active. If I set my controllers down or let my hands stay still for any amount of time it'll switch to hands even mid-game. I've fought against it for many months but with the new, unskippable and long, hand tracking tutorial I feel I have to always have this amazing feature permanently disabled because it's too inconvenient to keep on. I want to say the tap to activate hand tracking is hallucinating them being tapped when I have my hands still, and setting them down also triggers the swap.

We bought a unit in December and have never been able to use it. It stays the usb update screen and won’t power off

hello, i have a quest 1 (i know its old) and i tried to factory reset it after it stopped wanting to connect to my link app (worked 2 times before)  and now i can get all the way to the page were i connect to wifi, then after that my headset gets stuck on update 1 of 2 compleate continue in meta horizon app, and then my phone cant get further than the safety/security page

What happens, sometimes for some reason, is:I start Roblox, I go inside a game (let’s say, Vr Hands), and I can play for around a minute or less, then whatever input I was doing (moving forward) it doesn’t stop, also the head rotation seems to be locked, but I can look around ( I see all black and a screen with the game( the game is still running and player said that they could see me)).What I’ve  stated doing is simply closing Roblox and reopening it, UNTIL the issue stops.But today, something different happened, my oculus shut off (or at least the screen).

I did the process to enable Developer Mode but when I returned it still says the below I’ve been trying to do it on the other account but both my accounts are on the same Meta Quest 

Anyone else getting a rash with the standard Quest 3 headset - supplied fabric facial interface?Never had this before with Quest Pro, Pico or Index and have no (known) allergies, and have done nothing to make me sweat so it's not that. Has happened after only a few short uses of the headset, on my forehead and under one eye.

Not sure if this is the right place to post but couldn’t find a good place. I bought a set of glasses last week and they arrived yesterday.   Very nice, but I have a potential issue. Hope someone can help.  I bought transitions lenses, but what came on the box shows gray gradient polarized.  I received them late so I wasn’t able to verify whether or not they actually transition but when I look at Meta‘s website, the gray polarized gradient lens is different than transition lenses. Not sure why the box says that it’s the polarized version instead of the transition lenses. The app also shows the lens type as the polarized gray gradient.  Does anybody know whether or not the box when received will actually list them as transition lenses on it.  I suppose they use the gray gradient lens as the basis and popped out those lenses and put transitions in. Just not clear.  I was on the chat yesterday with somebody from Meta Support for an hour and a half trying

I apologize if this has been posted before. I tried to search for it, but wasn't exactly sure how to word what I am looking for. I am looking to have just 1 window from my pc show up inside my quest, that I can pin out of the way no matter what I am doing. Ultimately, I am looking to stream game play to TikTok, but would like to have the chat window from TikTok Live Studio show up in my headset. 

Hi, I was playing with a group of friends one day and for some reason a system error popped up on my screen and gave me two options to either wait or quit. I pressed wait multiple times but the error kept popping up so I decided to just quit. Ever since that day not only has my mic not been working but also my headset (for example continuing to play audio even though the headset is off. There were times my mic actually worked but then shortly later not work again, and sometimes other players told me they were hearing loud static noises from my mic.Heres all of the stuff I tried:*Turning mic on and off.*See if my mic is having issues in all my games (it does).*Cleaning the inside of my headset.*Factory resetting.If anyone has a solution to this problem I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey all.  I figured I'd post this, just in case it actually helps anyone.Suddenly, for no apparent reason (no update done, nothing installed or uninstalled), neither of my controllers would 'wake up' or pair.  I'd simply powered up the headset and the controllers were both dead....sort of.They appeared unresponsive, but the lights worked, and a 'pointer' coming from the trigger seems to work but not do anything. The pointer moves with each controller, implying a connection of some kind.Reboots and new batteries did nothing.  They both unpaired, but once unpaired, I couldn't re-pair.  I tried everything many, many times.  Brand new batteries, hold the meta button + Y, hold X and tap the meta button five times, etc.  Nothing worked.  So, last ditch effort, a factory reset.When I ended-up at the controller pairing screen, I could do nothing.  I'm hosed!  Tried changing batteries a few times, hoping it might 'wake' them.  Nothing.At on

My right controller won’t Pair. I did a factory reset of the headset and now I cannot get past the pairing part because it refuses to pair no matter what I do.  The light will blink but it will not vibrate and connect. Left controller paired fine. Please help 

it blows my mind how difficult it is to get a simple thing (cable link) to work. ive gone through debug tools, new cables, updates, i even tried to switch to beta hoping they somehow had a fix in the new beta update! no, ive spent upwards of 10 to 20 hours trying to solve this, its rediculous how well the quest 3 works and the hardware being so good but meta cant even put a decent linking app together. the other thing that pisses me off is that this is a known issue ive seen in 10 to 20 reddit/oculus form posts. meta wtf, please just fix this issue its not my job to fix it after spending 500 dollars on the hardware. i have been deving my own apps and i can build and flesh out a basic app in the time it takes me to get a pre developed app to simply link to my quest. its super frustrating

Hi,As a company, we created a tour using 3DVista for the Quest 2 for our client. We are using the Meta Horizon management service in individual mode. However, we've encountered a problem that we need some help with.When we launch the 3Dvista application for the first time, a pop-up appears asking for permission to access files. If we grant that permission, the tour loads and works fine. However, when launching the tour a second time, it gets stuck on the loading screen. If we then disable the permission in the settings and re-enable it via the pop-up, the tour works again. So it seems the tour only loads properly when the pop-up appears and permission is explicitly granted. There’s also an option to save the preference so the pop-up doesn’t show again, but even if we disable that setting, the preference still seems to be saved. As a result, we have to manually reset the permission each time in order to trigger the pop-up and make the tour load correctly. On one occasion, we saved the p

I can’t open support ticket with Meta, it says i dont have a device under my Meta account! But in the horizon app we see my deviceive been struggling to get help for the past 4 hours it is very frustrating it does not let me authenticate with the serial number either

I fixed the ribbon in my controller  and now it won't pair

My headset is missingI am afraid that my headset is stolen what can I do in this case ?

I have used my Meta Quest Pro four times. It is dead and now will not charge when plugged into the factory charger.
