Hi, I’ve just got a quest 3 to play on steam and ordered a few games on steam ready to play , however I cannot get any sound out of the quest 3 when connected to steam , I have tried every thing I’ve found online and nothing works , is there a fix for this please before I send the quest back for a refund

So I used oculus link with the cable and had perfectly fine audio 1 week ish ago. Well today there is no audio coming from the headset. My PC had no clue there is audio capability in the device. I do not mean the audio is disabled. I checked the disabled devices and it is not there. I re-installed everything. Forgot the quest 2 and found it again. And there is still no "oculus virtual audio device" When there was a week earlier. All I want is for my PC to find it again.    The "Learn more" Button brought me here and I do not see others with this issue. So Oculus software knows there is an issue, it just isn't helping me fix it. 

In an example of seriously lazy development, for some exasperating reason, Meta has decided to limit the options for the screen off timer for the Meta Portal to a maximum of 1 hour. I don't ever want the screen to turn off. Please update the Meta Portal software to include an option to disable the screen off timer entirely!

Are there important features that make the platform better than others: interface, gameplay, or perhaps some special features? I will be grateful for your advice and recommendations!

This is basically just a small vent post from me but lol this basically always happens it's crazy. You go forever and never buy anything but the second you buy it it either gets a bundle or goes on sale shortly afterwards. It's a conspiracy I think...

Hi Meta, This is my last possibility to get in contact with META.I have some pictures with my mom which i need, she have passed away now 😕 For 1.5 years I have been unable to login into my Facebook account, because you require 2FA. I lost the phone which had the app. So I cant get the authentication-code I cant sign in, and Facebooks identify page is broken.When I try that page, I load a "this page has been broken" I can provide any ID you need. I know the password, and have tried a lot of times to get in. But I cant, and there is no way to contact facebook. Please help me! I have tried for 1.5 years now.There is NO way for me to contact Facebook, this is my last way, and I really need access now..PLZ PLZ PLZ

To address this issue, I suggest implementing a tone indicator feature that would provide a visual cue to the reader about the intended tone of the message. This could be achieved by adding a small colored line or indicator under the text or around the text, which would give the reader a quick sense of the tone. so to give some context to this story i was playing alot one day and i had been charging it alot and i was charging it and i came back to see the charger port was melted (it didnt smoke or anything tho) and so i was wondering if meta would repair that for free or for a fee especially if i was not using the charger that comes with the headset

I'm currently having a problem on any app referral links. It keeps showing me an Invalid Link page regardless of who send me a referral link. I've already tried unlinking my Meta account out of my Facebook account and have tried using private/incognito browser to accept the referral link. Unfortunately, they still gives me Invalid Link page. 

Just as the title says, I'm not getting any audio through my headset while using a link cable for the oculus home-- no desktop audio in oculus home, no game audio when in a game, despite video working flawlessly. Issue persists with games both from oculus library and steamvr library. Audio works perfectly with steam link. Here is everything I've tried so far to fix it: enabled Oculus Virtual Audio Device in device manager and audio settings,tried every audio device in windows settings,tried every combo of audio settings on the oculus pc app,reinstalled/repaired oculus pc app,enabled beta testing and turned it back off,plugged headphones into the headset,tried every audio device in in-game menus,disabled and re-enabled every audio device in device manager,and restarted both my PC and quest 2 multiple times between attempts. so far nothing has affected any change at all. When I have music playing on my desktop while establishing the link, there will be a brief blip of desk

Does anyone know why World Flight fails to get full power? I was flying a few days ago, maybe a week, and the power just died! The app runs power as if it's in some sort of loop, winding up to about 1/3 power, then dropping to about 1/4. I can't get the aircraft to fly, and I can not locate any CS or tech support Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?

I have two questions: 1. Will private messages be counted towards the post count? 2. If I delete a private message from my side, will it be deleted from the other person's inbox as well?

Hi everyone,I’m very new to the oculus quest (I’m actually using it as a part of a study). I’m having issues accessing downloads I got from the browser on oculus quest. They won’t open up and I need that information. I was hoping I could access it from my phone or computer through syncing. Is this possible?Thank you,Nadia Jurkovic 

I reserved Hitman 3 VR Reloaded. Meta never processed the payment, so when the game officially released, I attempted to purchase it again, but I was unable to do so because the pre-order status prevented me. I have been in contact with Meta since September 7th, seeking assistance in resolving this issue. I have diligently followed all their suggested steps to cancel the pre-order, but none have been successful. Each time I contact Meta, I am required to reiterate the issue despite providing the ticket number of our previous conversation. Meta consistently assures me that the matter will be resolved within 48 to 72 hours, but they fail to follow through on their commitment. In an effort to bypass the pre-order status, I even had a friend gift me the game, but I am still unable to redeem it due to the pre-order status. Meta's lack of assistance and subpar customer service have been deeply frustrating.

So I just wanted to say it in simple adding dating feature in Instagram as I’m from India datings apps are still growing here so not too late why not adding it on Instagram because most of the young and genz use Instagram it will worth adding feature and if I get reply from meta I would happy to further about this idea thank u hoping for the best

the ability to use ai on cats but not specific cats might be solved by this method.   first recode neural network artificial intelligence so its easy to see.   how to do this. first see that there is a dictionary. and the dictionary creates global variables. a global dictionary that holds the values of variables.   now use this dictionary to create a cat using a bunch of true conditions.   To find a cat, there are 50 conditions and the goal of the conditions are not to make a false condition but to make a true condition.   the values of the dictionary are used in the condition.   this way a true condition for a cat makes a cat in the neural network but its a global dictionary so there is no scope to create unique cats only generic cats and that is why artificial intelligence neural networks do not work with specific cats only generic cats.   then you have a problem of scope, because the dictionary is for all the neural network for the conditions
