help - i am new to this and don't really understand, but it seems i have redeemed a code for Among US 3D in the wrong account on our meta glasses. I set my child up an account and then i also have an account on the headset. I wanted to redeem the code into her account on the set since i do not play games, but it seems i have done it under my account. Can it be moved?

Hi, I just bought a brand new quest off ebay and the first time when going through normal activation process after I connected it to a WiFi it started to apply software update. It does that for a short while, saying " applying software update" and then restarting. After it boots up, it just goes back to the exact same phase, "applying software update" and restarting, again and again in an infinite loop.I've tried connecting it to a charger, different networks, factory resetting it, also side loading update with pc but is says headset not supported when I select it in the browser, any help much appreciated

Hello, I can't buy apps because the prices are in a different currency. Previously, the prices were in US dollars. 

Can anyone help me?I'm from Brazil and I bought a Meta Quest 3s three days ago, sealed and working normally. After starting the update, it turned off by itself after a few minutes. I turned it on again and went through the factory reset screen, configured the Wi-Fi and everything else... when I tried to update the system again, it simply turned off after a few minutes, it won't turn on anymore and it won't charge. Could Meta have damaged my Quest?Not even the factory reset procedure works.  

I tried visiting this world numerous times. After a 5 minute wait...it says I can't travel to it. What's the trick to getting into this world? It's a popular world. 

When I try to add any profile to my headset I get and error message saying “cannot add to device” then when I try to get help from a human support I can’t because it says “Support isn’t available for this device.” I don’t know if my headset is some sort of banned but this is getting frustrating.  

I own a Meta Quest 3S that is factory reset and shows a pairing code.My account lists the device under “Devices I own” as “Not found.” on the app even though it isnt paired, but shows like it is paired.Serial number, Amazon order number, and email verification ALL fail, which blocks me from opening a support ticket or live chat on the support page.This is a backend pairing/account issue. I need a Meta support agent to manually verify ownership and remove/reset the pairing record by serial number.I am unable to contact support through the website due to verification failure.

My left controller will not pair , I have tried everything to the point of a factory reset, now I am in a bigger mess as I have in the head set a picture showing two handsets, with the illustration showing pull out paper tabs, I have turned foo several times, left it for 24 hours and still none of it working.  Can someone please help?

I setup my child’s account for his new quest 3s on Christmas. So far, so good. When he turned 13, he was going through the process of setting up his teen settings. I suppose he entered his screen name incorrectly and associated that with his email address and now we can’t figure out how to access his original screen name that is associated with my account. We still have access to that screen name but have no idea what email is associated with it. Anyone know how to find out the email address for a screen name?

So I restarted both the router and head set but it keeps saying it can’t not provide internet I have no idea what to do.

Hello!   i have an issue with my quest 2 controller where the light blinks 3 times when insterting a battery but after that it does not turn on or react to any buttons. Ive tried changing the battery, unpairing but was unable to pair after that, updating and pairing trough the meta app.does anybody know any fixes for this  or do i have to buy a new controller?

When I try to play my quest 2 it stays in pass-through mode and flickers black. I tried everything except for factory reset. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

I have been using ALVR using a wired connection to my Quest 3 to access SteamVR. I wonder if anyone else was doing the same and what settings you found to be the best?I was most curious about these two settings:Bitrate: Default is 30Mbps but I have experimented as high as 70.Preferred code: Default is h264 which I find terrible. I have better performance with HEVC.  However, I read that AV1 is built into the NVIDIA drivers, but I have better frame rates with HEVC than AV1.Any other settings that would improve performance?I have been playing:Half-Life AlyxBlack Mesa VR (excellent!)Half-Life 2 VR Skyrim VR (with mods)AircarBefore the Quest 3 I had the Samsung O+ and the Valve Index. So far, I've been happy with the Q3 though I have some complaints:-I miss the OLED screens from the O+ and Index. Screen is blacked out you barely can see the background and words but it’s on completely what could be the problem for that situation just purchased it

Hello,I’m having an issue with my Meta Quest 2 that seems related to a legacy Oculus account.• The Quest 2 (and the original quest) was originally linked to an old Oculus account, different from my current Meta/Facebook account. It has worked for a long time, but recently had issues with screen mirroring, so decided to do a full reset.• I have performed a full factory reset on the headset.• The headset does NOT appear in the Devices section on the Meta web portal. (but I can see some game saves on the cloud section)• However, the Meta Horizon mobile app still shows the headset and keeps trying to connect to it.• Pairing with the code displayed in the headset always fails.• I have already:◦ Uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app◦ Logged out and back into my Meta account◦ Tried pairing on a different network◦ Verified that I’m logged into the correct Meta accountIt looks like a ghost device / legacy Oculus account conflict where the headset is still partially associated on Meta

Our organization is unable to package and Deploy Meta Quest Link to our hundreds of staff PCs because of the way the installer was built, this has been an ongoing issue for years and needs to be addressed.The Meta Quest Link application does not have an offline installer, the installer simply acts as a downloader for the application, which is already problematic, but to make matters worse:There is no fully silent uninstall flags. Using /unattended does not completely work as an interface will still open, and it will also still sometimes require user input. Try packaging this program for deployment with Intune, and you will soon realize that there are two major issues:A regular system context install will fail because it opens a GUI that requires input under the system user so the person using the PC wont actually see the prompt to click anything. I not only do not have an issue starting air link... it suddenly starts running without my requesting it. I used to have to "start" link by connecting to the PC which makes it easy for me to choose native vs PC but now (most of the time) when I start the headset it connects to my PC and I'm forced to exit air link.Turning off air link every time isn't the ideal solution so did something change in this last update? Is there an option for "auto start" air link that I can turn off?

Hello does anyone know to do the meta quest warranty my oculus came with one my meta quest isn’t charging or turning on when I tried to claim it. It says there’s no devices associated to my account.

Suddently avatar won't load. Gives an error message that avatar can't load. Any ideas?

Hi, My meta quest link app always says that my PC doesnt meet the requirements, even though I just bought a new PC. Here are the specs:GEFORCE RTX 5060AMD 7 5700X32GB of RAM1TB storage.My older PC had a 1660 super in there and I never had that message pop up wich is strange, because you would think that the new PC would handle VR even better, but I have been getting quest link issues, like not connecting to my PC, even tough my quest is connected with a link cable. If anyone knows how to fix this issue that would help me out a lot! Thank you!

IT HAS BEEN SOLVED!!Hi, My Oculus quest 3 will not connect to my t-mobile wifi. It says "Connected to Device, but cannot connect to internet". I have already talked to my internet provider, and they said its not the wifi. My wifi is good because I use it for 10-15 devices everyday. I have already forgot the wifi, and re connected. I have disconnected and re connected. I have factory reset and nothing works, but I can connect my hotspot and my oculus works perfect. I dont know if it is my wifi or if its the oculus. What do i do next?

So i have 2 quest headsets. My quest 3s has v78, no account linked and rooted. I have custom homes, termux running archlinux through chroot and full turnip driver support. I also have access to basic stuff such as android settings. Now for the quest 2. Its clear your trying to be apple. Your notRemoval of custom homes in favour of horizon (very desperate move seeing the player count) Glad to see your in it for the community. Hello im a Quest 2 user and when i was trying to get the latest version of the Quest 2 and when i did get it, it told me version 74.0 but the latest version is v83 and im far behind but when i checked for searching for updates it wont show me the updates it keeps saying searching for updates forever and when i exit and go back in to see if it found an upate the OculusOS just crashes on me. I it all started because i trie calling my friend on the horizon app in vr it told me i needed a software update but its searching forever never stops. do i have to factory reset or get a new Vr Headset because im losing hope ive not touched the vr for years If anyone Knows any Fixes Please let me know ASAP i jut wanted to play with my friend and call
