Got an issue that after new meta update where you needed to make new meta account, whatever openning oculus software its always stays blank/grey screen wich makes it impossible to use it.this was an known problem from 2021 when you was chosing profile picture and its was turning same blank/grey screenBeen tryed evrything, unnistal/installing (in safe mod every oculus files as caches and etc)Tryed downgrading and reinstallingrestarting pc/updating evrything/reinstalling oculus software to another driveall of it no working and doesn't in way its was helping in 2021would be happy for any help if someone has same issue after meta update

"Upgraded" from PICO 4 to QUEST 3.  I want use it mainly for viewing my 3D stereo home videos and photos, and I got truly amazed, feel cheated. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT META DOESN'T PROVIDE A PROPER FILE TRANSFER TOOL FOR ITS 700 EURO HEADSET IN 2024! With the Pico I am using the Android File Transfer app on Macbook.  Just plug a USBC cable from the Pico to the Macbook and - boom - the Pico's file system appears on the screen and you can start moving entire folders up and down. Yes, I could use SideQuest to upload my more than 4000 files to the new Quest headset - one by one.  What is it that the PICO developers could solve but META could not. Am I alone with this problem?  Or am I missing something?

Hi, I’ve just got a quest 3 to play on steam and ordered a few games on steam ready to play , however I cannot get any sound out of the quest 3 when connected to steam , I have tried every thing I’ve found online and nothing works , is there a fix for this please before I send the quest back for a refund

can i have my headset and one for my son on the same oculus account and share a game library that way? or will i have to have another oculus account?

Hello guys. Today I got a surprise from my Meta Quest 3. After I woke up I heard some noise. It turned out it is coming from headset. I cannot turn on the headset and the noise is coming maybe from fan(??) coz when I put my hand on headset I feel small wind coming from inside. I reported that to support and waiting for their answer. The noise is so annoying so just wanted to ask here does anybody had same issue and is there anything what I can to do it with now?

Hi, my Oculus Quest 2 headset is saying low memory, but I have heaps of memory. It is making it so I can not play my game. What is causing this problem or does anyone have any solutions.

I brought an oculus quest 2 used from eBay. which come without the controller.so I try to set up Oculus quest 2. I download the mobile app and follow the instruction.  because I don't have a controller, the initial setup screen did not allow me to pass the initial setup screen without pairing the controller. so I active the developer option and connect through ADB (platform tools). I search online and find something like adb -s {device_id} shell getpropand I get all the list of properties.Can anybody tell me which value I need to modify or need to add the system properties so that the oculus thing/understannd that the initial controller setup is done. I already set up xbox controller as well.because there is a hand tracking option so I want to use the hand tracking option I think I can activate it by using a mouse. Note: Nybies please don't reply.  this section is only if you are an expert and know-how to work with ADB and shell and android. Hello other meta users, my mom recently got me an oculus 2. I am already having trouble with it. First, it says I have not a lot of storage, and when I delete some of my apps and photos, it only goes down a few percentages, and I don’t know if that is the main cause to my second problem with the oculus. Secondly, when my sister just got done playing job simulator she had canceled an update, and it has been having problems ever since. It won’t stop powering off and powering on and restarting. I contacted meta-and they had told me to do a factory reset. Now, I know how to do a factory reset, but it would not let me do a factory reset, I know that you have to shut off your VR headset, I know that you have to hold down the power button and the volume button, but it keeps restarting when I try to do it. And when I almost succeed, it says the words. “No command” I don’t know if I have a messed up something inside my headset but it would be great if a worker from Meadow could help me figure t

I would urge people to check there bank account for double payments or other unauthorised payments I was recently charged twice for a meta Quest game by Metapay. Trying to get it sorted is a nightmare. Don't think much of the customer support for a blatant overcharging issue.been trying for over a week for this to get sorted, do they just not reply to people in the hope that they go away, would urge people to check there bank accounts.

On my front screen when I put my headset on on it asks me to go to the meta site via mobile or PC and enter a code when prompted. I have done just that and there is nowhere to put in the code so I'm unable to use any of my apps. What am I missing?

I just bought new Meta quest 3, and on the first time while going through normal activation process after I connected it to a WiFi it started to apply software update.  It does that for a short while , saying " applying software update" and then restarting.  After it boots up, it just goes back to the exact same phase, "applying software update" and restarting, again and again in an infinite loop. I've tried connecting it to a charger, factory resetting it, and connecting to different wifi network, living it alone for hours in that loop. Nothing seems to be helping...  What can I do to go past that update process? Or updating in some other way? Because as of now my device is absolutely unusable.

I've been using Quest + Link almost since release and it has been working just fine but now all of a sudden it has stopped working. It says on the oculus client that my Quest is active and ready to go. I put on the headset and enable oculus link. When I do that my screen goes black and then I'm stuck on an infinite loading screen. All I can see are the three moving dots and nothing else. I've tried reinstalling, repairing and restarting the oculus software but nothing has worked. Any help would be great

I am trying to watch VR videos using the in built meta quest browser - but I only get the wepbage. How do I enable VR mode?  

This started after the most recent update.  Just wanted to know if this is a known issue with a fix before I reach out to the Support team.The Quest home menu is at the correct height. Every game I start, however, appears much lower then it did before the update. For example in Beat Saber my eyes are level with the heading "Campaign"/"Solo" whereas before my eyes were level with the 3rd-4th song in the list.  While playing the game the blocks are now between my knees and ankles. Before they would have been at chest level. I've tried a bunch of other games and they all seem to be affected.Things I've tried.Re-starting the quest.Resetting the guardian.Trying both stationary and room scale guardian modes.Any other ideas?Thanks

Hi,I have spent the past several hours attempting to run the initial Oculus Setup, but every time I get past the Terms and Conditions I get a screen saying that I cannot connect to the Oculus Servers (which I know is false--my Internet is working fine). After scrolling through several other forums and posts, I think if I am able to install the App onto any drive besides my C: drive (I have three drives -- C:, D:, and F:), my problems will be solved. BUT, I cannot figure out how to start the installation on my F: drive. I have tried to follow the steps on this page: https://support.oculus.com/help/oculus/1676275305961321/numerous times. Whenever I enter "OculusSetup /drive:F" into Run, Windows replies something similar to:"Windows cannot find 'OculusSetup'. Please check your spelling and try again."If anyone has suggestions for installing on separate drives, any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

We run a VR lab at the University with 19 Oculus Rift and 4 HTC Vive stations, open to all faculty, staff, and students.  We require each user to sign into Windows with their own University account, and to create their own Oculus account.  Beginning in mid February, new Oculus users have hit a brick wall in their Oculus setup, with Oculus error OVR88948175.Oculus is evidently trying to download something to "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Software", which requires admin privileges -- even though the Oculus software is already fully installed on the machine.  If a user clicks the "Change Location" button and navigates into their own folder space, it has no effect:The pathname in the dialog doesn't change -- which is an obvious bug -- and there's no way past this error.  We've been discussing this with Oculus support, but their bottom line is:  "we aren't able to provide much support for this situation, since we recommend using an admin account with the software." 

I have an Oculus Quest with the Oculus Link cable.  I want to view VR videos on the web but it doesn't work for me.  I click the VR headset icon at the bottom of the video, and it simply maximizes the window and doesn't put me into VR.  Here's what I'm doing:1. Connect Oculus Link & Enter Oculus Link mode2. Start Virtual Desktop, open chrome, browse to video, click VR button.3. Video simply maximizesAlso I've tried this:1. Use the Virtual Desktop app on Oculus Quest (not using Link)2. Open chrome, browse to video, click VR button.3. Video simply maximizes.I've also tried Firefox.  Same result.  What am I doing wrong?

Since I had a battery related issue with the new quest (didn't charge), I've had to exchange the quest. New one works great. But now I have two quests in the oculus app. The old-broken-one, and the new one. How do I remove the old one from the oculus app?

Username: Informalfrog My Oculus carried out an update today. On completion of the update I was logged out completely.  I had previously set up my account (early Feb 2022) using my Facebook account (I only have one). When I enter the details (which I know are correct) I keep getting the message - "this device is connected to an existing account. Log into this account or reset the device to use a different one."  Again I know the details are correct and I have no other account! Please help

Now, I will have to say a few things before any replies on solutions are made:- The battery of the headset is 100%.- The camera is clean and tracking is working.- The headset itself on the outside has no damage.- This issue has just started. Well, to put it simply, it keeps turning off. I have to manually turn it back on and it isn’t a black screen of death situation. It could be that the power button has some dust in it but it is unlikely. It would be great if someone has this same issue as I have searched a bit and have not seen this issue in the slightest. Thanks for reading, WoofWolf21.

Hey people, Accidently I tapped the headset while adjusting the strap and activated Passthrough. Nevertheless, the headset is stuck on it now! I cannot get out of it! I tried to reboot several times, and even after restarting, the headset goes straight to Passthrough view. Any tip on this? 

I am trying to add a second user to my oculus and when I go to do it and press the add accounts button it comes up with an error straight away saying "Something went wrong. Please try again later." It also keeps trying to get me to put in a code on www.meta.com/device even when i try to play a game it closes it and brings up that screen. Any help would be apricated
