Pairing & Connections

Everything should work great. I have my email. I can access my account in Meta. I have received emails with promotions of products for year using that same email. The issue is that when I turn on my occulus headset, the system gives me an error message that the email is incorrect and that email is not associated with Meta. Everything works up to that point.  I can see some information, but can't do anything to access the library or games. It shows that I have 6 games, but I can't access them. The codes to pair my headset to my phone doesn't work because the system won't recognize my email. And it states that there are no devices associated with my account and email. It has been 2 years since I used this device. I have all my information, but I guess it appears that Meta deleted my information on their part.  

Title and I hope I asked the quest right. I want to be able to play a game I got on the meta quest store while useing something akin to VD or other "connect pc to quest headset via wifi/bluetooth" software to use my sound headset and mic through my pc when my pc is running. (No cable or air link used)

Hi, I started on my new metaquest VR, it doesn’t finish the update and it stays stuck on it. It doesn’t pair to the app. What should I do? Thanks

I turned on my headset and came so a screen saying I was logged out. It then told me to pull up meta.com/device on my phone and type in a code. After typing in that code, I was then told to put my email in. I put the email in- It told me there was no account associated with my email. I’ve logged into the app with the email I typed in, i’ve checked for spelling errors, etc. I’m not sure what to do, I can’t find a way to fix it— :’(

I’ve gone through every discussion here that I can find. I just upgraded from a oculus 2, and my 3 won’t pair with the app. It’s connected to the Wi-Fi here, same as my iPhone and iPad. App is updated as of September 10. I have a code in the headset, which does not work. It just keeps asking to retry or quit. Locations and permissions set to allow. Any ideas?

Hey so I had factory reset my vr because it was stuck on the loading screen and now I can’t pair it because it’s already set as a device on my app but I can’t remove it as a device so I can’t play my vr at all anymore. Do you have any advice on what I should do? If you could get back to me that’d really help me out. I’m not sure what to do and I really want to play vr. Thanks!

My right controller recently stopped working (wouldn't power on), so I got a replacement that does power on, but now it won't pair to the headset. I have tried removing the battery, restarting the headset... still nothing.Google says to use the app to pair the controllers, but when I select Headset Settings nothing shows up. I have tried reinstalling the app, but same issue.I tried to reach out to Support through the Help Center, but it says my account does not have a device associated with it and I cannot search through my headsets serial number.Is there a way to pair the contoller? If I can't pair the new controller, is there a way to fix the original one?

I have a quest pro. Updated my iPhone to iOS 26 and now I can no longer go into the headset settings to enable developer mode. I still can do so on an older iPad that is on iOS 18 just fine. I have tried rebooting the headset, reinstalling the app, checking bluetooth settings to no avail. It is definitely related to iOS 26. The app will be stuck on connecting to headset and never succeed  

Sometimes it connects but but not always. I have power-cycled and reset router and quest2, uninstalled meta software and upgraded drivers. Cannot connect to desktop either, same issue.

I just bought my new meta quest 3s and i downloaded the app and everything but by goggles won’t pair to my phone. They’re connected to the same wifi and i have my bluetooth on. The screen on the quest shows the code but i dont have a place to put it in because my app constantly shows „searching for device”. Please help me

Headset powers on, Right controller powers on. The left controller doesn't power on, there's no vibrations no lights, even with multiple new charged batteries. Controller has not been physically damaged so i have no idea what's going on!

I’m having trouble casting to my iPhone I have both of them connected to the same WiFi and when I try to pair it with the code it says I need to disconnect the other device. I already did so and sold my other device so how do I make it so I can connect my current meta quest 2 to my iPhone app so I can screen cast on my phone?

I bought a quest 2 used by a friend, i factory reset to add my own account. in the midst of the reset it tells me to connect through the meta horizon app. In the app it asks for permission for nearby devices. i accept it and i give it any and all permissions on my android phone. but everytime i click on continue nothing happens. i have restarted the quest. my android phone. Ive cleared all cache on my phone too. On bluetooth the quest isnt visible. Help ive been stuck here for 2 hours

After hitting retry it just keeps saying retry and all won’t load. How do I fix?

My Wi-Fi in menu is unable to be accessed on Quest 3.  I wish to delete and re add it and I am unable to do so.

I started into this foray of VR more than a month ago trying to get my new Quest 3 headset to work with my new PC.  After a week of trying, I finally got Subside to work but no joy for Elite Dangerous, DCS, Aessto Corsa and MSFS2024.  "No Man's Sky" works for the first 5-10 minutes, all be it choppy, and then it freezes.  I've tried Air Link, Virtual Desktop and the Meta Cable Link.  I even installed an Access Point in the same room I play in, but it didn't help.  After 30 days of tinkering and trying everything I know, I still haven't played a single game other then Subside.When I start the Meta Quest Link app, my PC gets flagged as not meeting the minimum requirements.  Why would this PC get flagged?     Check out my specs.  My PC is definately   powerfull enough to run VR.Moterhboard: Asus Z-790,cpu:  i9-129000k,  32Gb ram,  gpu:  nvidia RTX5070Link Cable connection test:   2.7GbpsAll firmware,

Does anyone know how to email Meta or get some kind of live chat option?  There is literally no way that I can find to contact them about issues and I can't get my Rift S headset to work anymore after their latest software update (as usual).  This time I've been troubleshooting for hours and no luck, so I'm hoping to ask them for a replacement or other help, but there doesn't seem to be any way to actually contact anyone for support.Anyone have luck in this area?

Previously worked fine but after update or something stopped and if i want to pair it i have to uinstall link, delete every files related to quest, reinstall, pair it and this happen every time when i want to play

After an update i just did i was logged out of my account, now the headset asks me to connect the headset to my account but the mobile app doesn't start the steps to start connecting same with the pc app. 

I can't get the buttons on the xbox controller to work after it is connected.  Once I go to xbox online gaming, they stop working.  There is a icon in the upper left corner that show the controller is not connected, but under the settings menu it is connected.  I have turned off the gaze control and even unpaired and then paired again, several times, but still will not work.  What the heck am I doing wrong.

hi, after I made a factory reset, I try to reinstall my Meta Quest 3s. When I am asked to connect to any wifi, the connections is always a "limited connection". I tried differen wifi and hotspot. always the same result. please HEEEELP!!!

Windows Mixed Reality Portal doesn't detect that my Quest 3s is plugged in. It's quite frustrating. It's plugged in with a Reborn VR link cable. I have restarted Windows 10 and used a regular USB 3 cable and still haven't gotten it yet.  It has not worked even once. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I have a 9800x3d/5090 and trying to connect my Q3 Meta Link.  Everything looks good until just after it connects I get the 'Dash Encountered a Fatal Error' message and telling me to retry.  This happens whether I use the link cable or air link.  I had exactly the same issue on my previous build (7800x3d/4090) on a different Q3 headset. I have followed the set-up videos to the letter but cannot get past this issue.  I have got it working using Virtual Desktop but I really want to figure out why this error keeps happening.  I spoke to another sim racer who is getting the same issue but is also unable to get help to figure it outFWIW, I run triple monitors via DP to the 5090 and a 4th monitor connected via the HDMI on the motherboard.  I did run a test with the 4th monitor removed, but it didn't fix the Meta Link issue.
