After renitalizing my quest 2, I wanted to pairing it but it wasn’t working. So I removed it from meta horizon on my PC. I tried again but it didn’t work. However, the headset is still visible on my phone with the serial number. I go to the site, I can’t contact support because my Quest 2 is no longer pair to my account (but can be viewed on my phone as unfound) and the serial number doesn’t work? to help me because I am Aggaceae
so after booting my meta quest after a long while, i couldn't remember my pattern for it. So i reset it as the device suggests but during setup my device stopped updating and the app is stuck on the safety video for setup. how do i finish this update/ can someone help me??????
My Meta Quest 3s comes on and I see the meta symbol then the screen goes blank. It won’t let me do anything. I’ve tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, I’ve tried the power button and the volume button at the same time and nothing. It comes back on and does the exact same thing. Any help please?
So, recently I had purchased a quest 3S. The headset is great and I've been having no problems with it aside for the fact that I can't seem to pair my quest pro controllers with it. When will the pro controllers become compatible with the 3S so I can stop using my Quest 2 to maximize the 150 dollar purchase I made on top of buying a new headset?
Bonjour,Durant la configuration, lorsque je rentre le code l'application m'indique "casque introuvable". Le bluetooth et la localisation sont bien activé. Les autorisations sont bien accordés. Quelqu'un sait d'où vient le problème ?
I had a broken quest two and the parts and accessories from it and recently found a cheap quest 2 to use with them. When in the setup process i managed to easily connect the left controller but the right one blinks yellow/orangeish, and after holding the main button + B it does a light down with a winding down vibration and does the following: blinks green once, blinks green once again but quickly, after a pause it blinks with a winding up vibration, and at the end it blinks again before repeating the same pattern after a while. Yes the lights in this pattern are all green. I tried factory resetting it and i think that after one combination the headset started updating the left controller. Removing the left controller from the app and room also didn't help and the quest is connected to the internet. May be a lot of information but i'd rather not explain that i already tried all those things when someone starts suggesting fixes
After booting (Link cable, USB-C to USB-C, always plugged in to the PC), my Quest 3 headset is only ever seen as connected to the PC (Windows 11) if I pull out the USB-C plug on the headset and push it back in again. I am concerned that this will eventually damage the plug. Why is this? How can I fix it? Just very occasionally (<5% of the time I'd say), the headset is connected and works without my having to disconnect and reconnect it, but I have no idea why - no different procedure. I have checked in Device Manager that none of the USB ports are set to turn off under Power Management. I have also tried setting the Oculus service to delayed start, but there's no change. Tried a different cable - still the same.Once connected, the USB test via the Oculus app shows 2.5GB and I almost never then have any problems with the connection - until the next reboot.Any ideas on this please? Thanks.
I have a Quest 3S and no link cable, so I have to use Air Link. When I go and connect to my PC, it just keeps loading without sending me to the Home space for Link. It just doesnt go further than the loading screen with the Meta logo and the three dots
First, I’d like to mention that I don’t speak English and am using a translator. Now, regarding the problem: I just bought a Meta Quest 3s. I got home and started setting it up; everything went smoothly until I reached the Wi-Fi connection step. I found my network and entered the password, but after connecting, a message appeared stating that the connection was limited, and I couldn't access the headset's menu. Basically, I’m stuck at the setup stage.help me pls..
Hey y’all,Recently picked up Quest 3’s for my dad and I. The first day we got them, we were able to successfully make a call to each other via the People app so we could talk while gaming. These past couple days however, the People app hasn’t been connecting our calls. It gets to this loading screen after you attempt to join the call but never ends up connecting. We have had the meta app open on our iPhones when attempting to call each other too and it still didn’t work. Anyone else having similar issues? Any known fixes out there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks,Chris
I do apologise in advance if this is not the right forum to post this request. I work in Palliative Care and a patient would like to 'travel the world' one last time. Would someone be keen to come to a Sydney North Shore hospital and provide a VR experience to the patient. It would have to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, preferably, or Thursday morning. We will offer some compensation.
So my controllers won’t work after me clicking any thing on my headset I would I was wondering if Meta could come back on this and tell me how to fix it cause I tried Google and nothing worked me. Please respond. I would really like to play my VR again.
I'm using Meta link, I'm using an aftermarket cable mainly because I'm not looking into dropping like a hundred bucks on some stupid branded cable. My cord supports 5 GBPs. I can get the link working just fine, I can open up apps from my desktop on my VR, but anything longer than about 1 to 5 minutes It just crashes and it literally won't fix itself. It normally requires me to completely reset my computer in order to make the meta link app actually work again, even task manager can't save me of which the app constantly thinks that the VR is connected but is not ready even when the VR is on connected and ready. So I must reset my computer. After resetting my computer it claims that it is not connected of which it is not, so I connect it and it works just fine. But within 1 to 5 minutes of me trying to do literally anything it freezes and it shows me only one frame while all the audio pass-through works just fine. It then kicks me out of the link, But it still says I am in the link
G'day,When using the Meta Quest Link USB connection with a Quest 3 & 3s, the link will catastrophically fail after an unspecific length of time. The image will freeze and if I move my head around I can see the borders of the image and the blackness around it, implying that the async-spacewarp is still functioning. My PC continues to function normallyThe freeze occurs regardless of what's taking place on the computer. Whether playing games or sitting in the home screen, it will eventually freezeThis freeze is permanent until I restart the linkDouble-tapping for passthrough will get me stuck in passthrough and I am forced to exit the linkReconnecting the headset requires force shutting down the Meta Horizon Link app and its background tasks through task managerThis is not an isolated issue, two of my friends are experiencing this one of which just bought his headset and connected it for the first time. I personally experienced this months ago until after about 2 months when the issue
Hi, before the latest Quest OS update (April 2026) I was using Virtual Desktop over Ethernet via a USB-C hub (Baseus CAHUB-CW0G, Realtek RTL8153B chipset) and it worked great. After the update it stopped working completely. The interface (eth0) shows up and the hub is detected, but the Quest never gets an IP address — it just stays on IPv6 link-local and never connects. Virtual Desktop shows "Not in same local network".I spent several hours digging into this with ADB and found two things:The firmware file rtl_nic/rtl8153b-2.fw for the Realtek chip is missing — the driver logs an error on every connection attemptThe DHCP client never actually starts — eth0 comes up but the Quest never sends a DHCP request to get an IPv4 addressI tried everything I could without root: cmd ethernet set-ip-configuration eth0 dhcp, static IP, replugging the hub, different flag values — nothing works because the fix requires system-level access. This is affecting everyone using Ethernet with Vir
Nothing happens when I put the 5 digit code in on the Meta Quest. How do I fix this pairing issue?
Headset wont pair neither will the controllers to the headset, so i can't connect to WiFi
I have attempted all the pairing troubleshooting methods, but the device is only flashing lights and failing to pair.
Je viens d’acheter un meta quest 3. Je l’ai connecté au même wifi que mon telephone.J’ai testé sur 2 iPhone différent mais l’appairage ne fonctionne pas.
I had factory reset my headset to fix a problem and after signing back in, the mobile horizon app will not give me the option to put in the pair code for the headset.I have made sure they are on the same wifi, uninstalled the app and redownloaded it, gave the app all of its permissions, reset my headset, and use a 5g capable cable to connect from my pc to the headset. What else can I do to pair to the app?
Hi, I'm writing here on hopes that I can finally get some help.I've been a user since the Rift and now it was time to change my Quest 2 for a Quest 3, When I load my Quest 3 the app library looks good for a fraction of a second then it is grayed out and I can't select any apps.See Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/pwWmA8KCofwI am also having problems connecting to the Meta Quest Developer Hub, and if I manage to connect, installing an apk file shows as a success but then the app is nowhere to be found. The connection to the headset on the app is spotty, I can open up device settings sometimes, and sometimes I can't or I have to manually pair the iPhone to the Quest which seems to help.I have tried so far:Factory resetsChanging the horizon meta app to another deviceLogging out of horizon meta appDeleting all traces of the Quest 2 from meta appUsing other user profiles (fixes the app library issue but its not a real solution as I need my main user)Hard resetsDownloading apps thr
My laptop is MSI gaming laptop, graphic card is NVIDIA 4070, i've tried to reinstalle dthe drivers but still unable to kick on the Meta link function, checked the cable and wireless are functioned wellany suggestions??
Tried to boot up my metaquest 2 and all I get is a Blue screen. Tried Factory reset, no change. Any suggestions?Tried updating software, and indicates that it did, but again only blue screen
I have a Quest 2 which I hadn't used in at least 2 years. After doing all the updates I restarted using it. I wanted to cast either to the app or mobile, non are working. When wearing the headset it says "Casting to web/ or mobile" but it doesn't cast anything. On the app it shows "searching for headset" all the time. At some point it says the headset is linked to another account. However I see the headset connected on the app. On mobile it says "streaming interrupted". So none are working. I have already done a factory reset. All my accounts (facebook, instagram) are connected I don't have any other meta account and I bought the headset new. I cannot get to support, when I type in the serial number it says it doesn't exist, which is b***bleep**. I read somewhere it might got "stuck" in the backend and might have to be manually "cleared" by meta, but I am not getting any option to contact them.Any ideas? I have lost all patience after more than 4 hours of trying eve
