When you download some of the SDKS, TO START BUILDING THINGS AND WHAT NOT. CAN IT BE USED FOR YOU PERSONALLY? LIKE I WAS READING SOME OF THEM AND IT SAID WOULD HELP WITH THE HAPTICS OF THE CONTROLLER AND HELP WITH HAND TRACKING AND SUCH. SO I WASN’T SURE IF THAT MEANT IT COULD HELP ME TOO ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. BECAUSE I KNOW YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THEM TO YOUR QUEST, SO I WASN’T SURE IF THAT MEANT MY HAND TRACKING WOULD BE BETTER OR IF THAT ONLY MEANT WHEN IT WAS USED AND WHATEVER YOU’RE DEVELOPING STRICTLY. Yeah, I wasn’t sure if I actually had to be developing an app, to use some of them and make them useful to me personally.. any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi I'm trying to register or verify a Meta for Developers account and am stuck at the phone verification step. No SMS code is ever delivered, despite multiple attempts. What I have tried my number is +263 (Zimbabwe), already active and working for personal Facebook account 2FA via SMS.Also tried adding another number as an alternative - same result, no SMS received.Tried WhatsApp verification option in Accounts Centre also unsuccessful. Tried multiple browsers and devices.Tried on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.Waited between attempts to avoid rate-limiting My personal Facebook account is active and in good standing and this number isn't linked to any other Meta developer account. This looks like a delivery issue on Meta's end rather than something wrong with my number. By the way im unable to use the standard "Report a Bug" tool since it requires an active developer account, which I'm blocked from creating because of this exact issue. Could someone from the Meta team help look i

I first got a pair of meta glasses as a Christmas present and since then I have taken them to sporting events, vacations, and on my motorcycle to capture some cool videos and photos. They change the way you ARE ACTIVE WITH YOUR SURROUNDINGS!! You can finally be present and let the glasses record in the background!I believe that Meta is missing a huge marketing opportunity to expand their sales and usage of Meta Glasses so I wanted to come forward and make some suggestions and who knows, maybe one will catch on and Meta can really grow this thing. I will keep this brief since this isnt a formal pitch or something I am being paid for.1. Stadiums & Venues - Concerts, Sporting Events, Amusement ParksWhat do you see any time you a sporting event is going on or a concert is underway? Phones. Thousands of phones all recording the event. People are watching the events through their phones rather than living in the moment and letting Meta Glasses record their experience for them.Suggestion?

Hello Meta Horizon Developer Community, I am developing a patent-pending interactive touch-control concept called TACTILE. The concept is designed as a compact touch-based interface that can receive and display information from compatible connected devices and allow users to interact with that information through a smaller handheld touch interface. The goal is to simplify interaction with larger-screen devices and explore new possibilities for gaming, immersive experiences, and future VR and MR applications. I am interested in identifying the appropriate Meta Reality Labs, Hardware, or Gaming Partnerships contact to discuss the concept privately and explore potential product evaluation, licensing, collaboration, or co-development opportunities. I would be happy to provide a non-confidential presentation through an appropriate private channel. Thank you.

I want to develop  hiking trail apps for VR viewing on Quest using video from insta360 camera. So far I've been directed to using Unity. After weeks of trying to use Unity, I have not been able to produce a suitable Quest VR project for Quest. Would appreciate help.

Hey Guys! Has anyone else experienced extremely long loading times for VR PREVIEW in Unreal Engine 5.5.1 after updating Meta Quest Link to v85? I literally have to wait 3 minutes, when it used to load in about a few seconds.

My game got approved and when I released it the next day my org got deleted…

I'm an independent/hobbyist developer and want to publish a game, but I'm uncomfortable providing ID. Is there an alternative verification method available for individual developers?

Hello Meta Horizon developer community! We are a three-member student development team from Tamil Nadu, India, currently in 11th grade. We are working on an independent AI + Mixed Reality project and are exploring the possibilities of building our prototype on the Meta Quest platform. Our project involves exploring how AI can understand a user's physical environment and interact with it through mixed reality, including voice-based interaction and spatial placement of digital content. We believe the Meta Quest 3S would be a suitable platform for developing and testing our concept. However, as student developers, access to the required hardware is currently our biggest limitation. We wanted to ask the Meta developer community and Meta team members here:Are there any official programs, initiatives, developer opportunities, or hardware-support options through which an independent student development team could receive a Quest 3S as a complimentary development device? We would be happy to provid

My headset updated last night and now both my games are broken, with them randomly crashing from an internal libovrplatformloader.so abort when initializing the platform sdk on unity.  Is this a known issue?

Our business verification has been stuck in "In Review" for over a week, well beyond the estimated 2 business days. We submitted all required documents (tax registration certificate + a utility bill showing the address), and our business info matches the official documents exactly. No additional information has been requested in the Security Center or by email.Does anyone has further information about this topic?Any update is appreciatedThank you.

I'm seeing an issue with spatial anchors on Quest using Unity, OpenXR, and AR Foundation when running in Boundaryless mode.SetupUnityOpenXRAR Foundation (ARAnchorManager)Quest 3Boundaryless modeApplication remains running while the headset sleeps/wakesAnchors are created through AR Foundation:var result = await anchorManager.TryAddAnchorAsync(pose); if (result.status.IsSuccess()) { ARAnchor anchor = result.value; }Everything works correctly initially.ProblemWhen the headset goes to sleep and subsequently wakes, the OpenXR tracking space appears to relocalize/change.In Boundary mode, the anchors continue to appear at the correct physical locations. In Boundaryless mode, the ARAnchor GameObjects jump to incorrect world positions after wake. The important observation is that the underlying Meta spatial anchor appears to have relocalized correctly. After wake, if I query the spatial anchor directly using:_locatable.TryGetSpatialAnchorPose(out var pose)the returned pose correctly represents th

SummaryWhile downloading a large update for Golf+, I accidentally cancelled the entire download simply by selecting the game tile. There was no confirmation that I wanted to cancel the download, and the visual indication that the tile action would cancel rather than open the game was extremely difficult to see.In this case, the update was approximately 28 GB and I had already downloaded roughly 27.5 GB before accidentally cancelling it.Steps to reproduceStart downloading a large game update.Put the headset down and allow the download to continue.Return later and check the download progress. From notifications/alerts, selecting the game allows you to view/open the game experience while the download is still in progress to see status.Return to the main interface and select the game's normal tile while the download is still active.Instead of opening the game or showing its download status, this interaction cancels the download. No confirmation is presented before the download is cancelled.A

Hello,I am writing from lived experience as a neurodivergent adult in Wiltshire UK with visual stress that affects reading in bright and artificial light.I would like to propose three accessibility improvements.First - Adaptive Filtered Lens Option. An optional electrochromic / Transitions style filter with selectable tints for example pale yellow for visual stress that auto dims under harsh lighting. This would make the glasses wearable all day for many users not only those with dyslexia.Second - Discrete Persistent Offline Reading. A silent output via bone conduction or HUD text with offline OCR and a stable connection rather than an audible prompt that requires connectivity. This would provide privacy and reliability on public transport.Third - Bidirectional Sign Language Translation Opening Doors Between Communities. Inside the lens Sign Language to English. Outside front display English to signing avatar motion. This opens doors for the deaf community to communicate naturally and

Hi Meta Team, I'm hoping someone can help escalate or manually review my BusinessVerification. It has been stuck "In review" for over 2 weeks now,far beyond the stated ~2 business day estimate. - Business portfolio: Sam (1000PDF Services)- Verification use case: App requires access to permissions on Metafor Developers- Business admin has full access/control of the portfolio (confirmedin Business Settings) This is blocking my Meta App Review submission for my app (SocialManager App), which has otherwise been fully prepared and ready tosubmit. Could someone check the status of this verification or escalate itfor manual review? Happy to share any additional details. Thank you.

I do not see the in-game skins that I purchase for the weapons, tanks and robot.I do see the in-game skins for my profile.I have purchase several skins and research points.I have rebooted my oculus 512, several times.

Hi, The current browser: 150.0.0.39.30.1038228660 breaks an immersive PWA packaged with Meta's Bubblewrap fork.  The immersive app mode (as documented on the Progressive Web Apps Meta documentation page) directly exists. In the previous browser (146.2.0.54.53.993879813) it works. I could temporary revert it, however Meta automatically overwrites it with the new browser on a daily basis. I filled a bug report, but I spend a day figuring this out, so I thought it's also handy for the community to know. If someone knows how to prevent those browser updates I am happy to hear. The only workable solution right now seems to start from a 2D app and let people press "enter vr" themselves (which is something I like to prevent for my app). Any thoughts how to block updates (this is for a Kiosk like app) are welcome. Deployment: TWA (Trusted Web Activity) with horizonOSAppMode: "immersive" in manifest. When launching a WebXR session inside an immersiv

I send someone a key for an app that is approved but not yet released and they said they were unable to use it. Are keys only for released apps?

So I was trying to buy a game a couple of months ago but it said my account is frozen due to “suspicious activity” probably because I got my older sister to buy me a bunch of vr games I tried to appeal like they told me to on the meta horizon app I did appeal and it made me go on to my email for more information but it was no help at all months later still haven’t got the problem solved can anyone help me?

Hi, I'm hoping a moderator can help. My business portfolio's Business Verification has been stuck in "In Review" status for more than two weeks, well beyond the ~2 business days stated in the confirmation message. Details:- Business Portfolio ID: 1267011986489755- Verification use case: "The app requires access to permissions in Meta for Developers" (I need this to access WhatsApp Cloud API for my app).- Current status: "In Review". The system is NOT requesting any additional information and shows no error or rejection.- I have not resubmitted or cancelled the request (to avoid resetting the queue position).- I don't have access to live chat support (no ad account on this portfolio). Could a moderator please check my case and help complete or escalate the verification, or tell me if anything specific is missing on my side? I'm happy to share the App ID or any other details privately. Thank you very much.

Greetings! I guess I should post something here -  I am planning to release this app this month.https://www.meta.com/experiences/wonderstructs/25668967069374158/I am planning on releasing into Early Access and hoping to get ideas from early adopters for more parts and features.Currently working on adding co-located multiplayer with shared spatial anchors. That will be in a subsequent release. Also planning to add hand tracking at some point.I'm using the Godot game engine.Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!

Posting here to surface a regression that's affecting our production appon the Meta Horizon Store and appears to be hitting the broader OpenXRecosystem on Quest 3. SUMMARYSince Horizon OS v2.4 rolled out (week of 18 May 2026), the Meta AimHand OpenXR extension (XR_FB_hand_tracking_aim) returns a stuck/invalidaim pose. Any Unity app reading pose from the MetaAimHand input device(via com.unity.xr.hands) loses hand far-interaction: the ray is stuckpointing forward, and the grab interaction range tied to the ray isalso affected. Reproduces in the Unity Hub VR template project as wellas in our production apps WHAT'S RULED OUT- System-level hand tracking is healthy: works in Quest Home, 2D systemapps, and via XR_EXT_hand_tracking joint data inside the app itself(near interaction with hands continues to work).- Our MRTK-based sister app, which derives its hand ray from jointsrather than from the Aim extension, is unaffected — confirming thebreakage is scoped specifically to XR_FB_ha
