I don’t understand why Meta restricting the ability to use apps installed from sources other than the Meta Store. Doesn’t this violate the Digital Markets Act (DMA)? Do we live in a democratic world? Or did someone at Meta decide to follow in Apple’s footsteps—pay the fine and restore everything to the way it was?Bring back the tab, or do what all normal Android devices do: make installed apps appear alongside all other apps.
Every time I join the call on the chat app my friends hear a sound, that sounds like my mic is glitching out. Although my mic works just fine as it works in games and i've went to mic testing websites hi factory reset my headset. I've powered down my headset, and I don't know how to fix it. I'm pretty sure it's just a problem with the chat app. Could someone help me?
Nothing happens when I put the 5 digit code in on the Meta Quest. How do I fix this pairing issue?
Ive had this problem since 2024 where I could not buy ANYTHING. Even with quest cash. I had contacted support a few times and got nothing sadly. I am very sad that I can't use my 50$ worth of quest cash on Games and addons. Help!!
Headset wont pair neither will the controllers to the headset, so i can't connect to WiFi
So the Meta Horizon app on my iPhone SE (2020) got an update today (v364.0.2.18.265), and now it keeps randomly popping-up the error "Device locked. To allow your headset to share information with this device, put on your headset and enter your passcode." Well, my nearest connected headset doesn't even have a locking passcode set! 😠 Also, we have two headsets managed by the mobile app. The annoying popup doesn't even identify which device it is referring to! 😠 My daughter's headset has a locking code on my primary account, but not on her account. However, it was asleep on charging and too far away, thus appearing as "not connected". So that shouldn't be the issue either. I did a Google search for the above error message and nothing at all was found. Zero. I guess it's a new "thing". Thanks Meta 😠. I tried fully powering both headsets off and on, restarting the phone and logging out and back in to the app, but the bug persists. I've reported the issue to Meta via the mobile app. Anyo
Hi everyone and the Meta Team,I am writing this post with a lot of hope, a bit of nerves, and a big dream. My name is David, I am a student from Romania, and I am absolutely fascinated by technology, gaming, and the future of virtual reality. For a long time now, I’ve been following everything Meta does. When the Meta Quest 3S was announced, I was incredibly excited. To me, VR isn’t just about playing games—it’s a gateway to learning, exploring places I’ve never been, and experiencing technology in a way that feels like science fiction come to life.Unfortunately, the reality of living in Romania makes it incredibly difficult to reach this dream. Due to the local economy and high prices relative to our average incomes, a VR headset is considered a massive luxury here. As a student, I don't have my own income, and my family has to prioritize everyday living expenses and my education. Saving up for something like a Quest 3S feels almost impossible right now, and it’s honestly tough whe
Yesterday, I turned my headset off completely like normal, nothing different. I go today to connect a new controller I had gotten the day before, the same day I turned my headset off last. So I go to the meta app as one does to connect a new controller, and it says that my headset is not connected to the app like it normally is. So, I try restarting my headset (not a factory reset). It turns back on, connected to the same WiFi my phone is connected to, and has Bluetooth enabled the same as my phone, so all the qualifications for a connection between the headset and the app have officially been met. Yet, my headset still refuses to connect to the Meta app. So, I factory reset my headset. Normally, in the mobile app, factory resetting a headset removes all its info and existence from the app, but it did not. It’s like my headset is no longer paired to the app, but the app is still connected to the headset. I have tried every single pairing method presented to me as if this is my first ti
I have attempted all the pairing troubleshooting methods, but the device is only flashing lights and failing to pair.
Hello all thank you for taking the time to read this! I've owned quest 3 for a number of years now and gotten a great amount of use out of it. To cut to the chase, without warning the other day, the image in my left eye became erratic to the point of almost immediately giving me a headache. I am going to try to attach photos and videos, but I detect no problem with the lens itself so i believe it to be a problem with the left eye display. When the problem first began, the image in my left eye would jump around erratically, as shown in the first video. I also noticed a line , at about 20 degrees off of horizontal, running at a negative slope across the bottom of my vision. Below this line, the image was seemingly normal. After resetting the headset a few times I let it sit for a few days. When I returned to the headset rather than the erratic jumping image, it instead was a mostly static double image/ghosting effect. Once again below the diagonal line the image appears normal. So I come h
I'm trying to get my Quest 3 headset to work as both an audio input and output through the Remote Desktop app. I am able to hear my PC audio through the headset just fine, but Windows does not detect any voice activity from the headset microphone despite selecting it as the default audio input device. The volume bar is constantly halfway full, as if detecting sound, but nothing is heard in the mic playback or test recording.I can get the headset microphone to work just fine with Steam VR, but I would prefer to use the Remote Desktop app.
Never had this happen before update 2.6 is this something new?
Je viens d’acheter un meta quest 3. Je l’ai connecté au même wifi que mon telephone.J’ai testé sur 2 iPhone différent mais l’appairage ne fonctionne pas.
I've already had this once, but when I updated it through the meta website, everything was fixed and here's the same problem again, I've already updated the firmware 2 times through the wire, I tried resetting to factory settings, changing the boot slot, but nothing worked. and not its not a proximity sensor. I'm writing here in case someone helps and knows what to do
I am experiencing an issue with a frozen Referral icon in the Meta Quest app.The icon has been stuck and does not update. I have been contacting Meta Support for almost two weeks, with many emails going back and forth, but the issue is still not resolved. The frustrating part is that the conversation keeps going in circles. I have explained the problem clearly, but the responses continue to focus on referral details instead of addressing the actual app issue.I am not asking about the referral reward or anything else. I only want the frozen Referral icon in my app to be fixed.Has anyone experienced the same issue or know how to get this properly escalated?Thank you
It’s just sitting at downloading and no progress bar.
I had factory reset my headset to fix a problem and after signing back in, the mobile horizon app will not give me the option to put in the pair code for the headset.I have made sure they are on the same wifi, uninstalled the app and redownloaded it, gave the app all of its permissions, reset my headset, and use a 5g capable cable to connect from my pc to the headset. What else can I do to pair to the app?
Just got the new OS update 2.6 but cant find any info about it anyone know what's in it?
Share some of your favorite songs, artists, ideas, creations, etc. Here's mine...I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBQ2305fLeAFor those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wADSBoNkGMIA few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.I hold in high regard just about everything Cl
I was trying to purchase the subscription for meta horizon but it’s showing that it’s not available I have purchased it and used it earlier so was trying to buy it again.
Hey guys, so I've had my headset since January 2nd, 2026, and I loved playing on it, right?Well... around early March, it started acting weird. Then in April... my headset's screen would randomly go black, my tracking would get messed up, and it's been happening on and off ever since. I couldn't see anything in the room, even though I have a well-lit room. It usually only lasts for a few seconds, but it keeps happening. I think the cameras might be loose or something.I've tried getting it to work a few times, and here are the details:So literally yesterday, I factory reset it. Then I found this weird fix where apparently, if I cover all of the cameras and make it completely dark, it starts working. Sooooo I tried it... AND IT KINDA WORKED! It worked fine, and the issue stopped. Then I covered the cameras again, and it happened again. So I tried covering only the left camera... AND IT WORKED! But I had to keep covering the left camera, or the issue would come back.So I finished setting
Hi, I'm writing here on hopes that I can finally get some help.I've been a user since the Rift and now it was time to change my Quest 2 for a Quest 3, When I load my Quest 3 the app library looks good for a fraction of a second then it is grayed out and I can't select any apps.See Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/pwWmA8KCofwI am also having problems connecting to the Meta Quest Developer Hub, and if I manage to connect, installing an apk file shows as a success but then the app is nowhere to be found. The connection to the headset on the app is spotty, I can open up device settings sometimes, and sometimes I can't or I have to manually pair the iPhone to the Quest which seems to help.I have tried so far:Factory resetsChanging the horizon meta app to another deviceLogging out of horizon meta appDeleting all traces of the Quest 2 from meta appUsing other user profiles (fixes the app library issue but its not a real solution as I need my main user)Hard resetsDownloading apps thr
My laptop is MSI gaming laptop, graphic card is NVIDIA 4070, i've tried to reinstalle dthe drivers but still unable to kick on the Meta link function, checked the cable and wireless are functioned wellany suggestions??
Why hasn't Meta allowed external gamepads to be used for Horizon mobile? I use my AR glasses to watch movies and play Nintendo Switch 2 games. If Horizon mobile supports gamepads, I could use my AR glasses to play Horizon mobile on a big screen and use the gamepad to Navigate. Hope they add that feature soon.
Could anyone help?I just reinstalled OS and have installed meta horizon link application. But can't login.I entered e-mail address and pass for "meta account" but it doesn't work. After that I've changed password of meta account so the mail address that I entered is correct, I suppose.
