Hello, a few months ago I noticed that my Quest 2 was not charging despite using the official charger, even after leaving it alone for long periods of time on and off the charger. The light next to the power button doesn't even turn on at all to indicate if it's charging, on, or even if it has a low or high battery percentage.Upon holding down the power button the boot-up screen with the Meta logo appears very briefly before turning back off again. I even tried the factory reset feature but all that appears is the same brief Meta logo before turning back off again. Is there any possibility of fixing this issue? If so, what are any options I can pursue? If not, how should I dispose of my headset?

Started my Quest 2 and there is no Loft environment or whatever it is called. All I get is theysky and what looks line a plain of concrete. Restarting doesn't. I know the canned response will be to factory reset the headset. I'm not going to do that because 99% of time it does nothing to solve the problem. 

Hi, even with the original cable, my Oculus 2 keeps disconnecting after about 5 minutes of use. The thing is, the software keeps running (I can see it on the monitor), and sometimes the Meta app itself tells me the headset is connected and I see the green circle. The cable is in good condition, not stretched or damaged, and all the software is up to date... in fact, I've reinstalled everything. Any ideas? Thanks

Have the criteria for adding posts changed?Created a topic with a question and a photo in troubleshooting and  the robot immediately rejected it and called it spam😄Maybe because I created it without respect and emojis 😅How it can be moderated or what words are forbidden for topics now🤔

Earlier in dev mode it was possible to disable this option and I could record my MR programs on a black background without the visibility of the real environment on the video In the new firmware video recording shows allWhat are the alternatives to turn off recording from cameras?

I bought 2 quest 3 headsets for my kids this past summer and 1 of them doesn't charge anymore, the other one still charges and works but the one that isn't charging, is there a repair center or someplace i can get it fixed at?

I cant log into my account or pair my device nothing and to remind you i never deleted my account or nothing but i haven’t played for a coo min but i cant get in 

Dear team members yesterday evening when i was preparing for my gaming live session. I have cast my quest 3 with laptop and quest was putted on table facing towards me. I was seated on chair. Suddenly on laptop i saw that meta quest hand tracking camera mistaking as my feet finger as my hands and trying to enable hand tracking.please let me know if anyone else faces same.i think it’s a bug..attached one video please look into. And comment your views .

Evening Peeps,May I ask for some advice please. I play quests in my iPhone. Not competitively, more time wasting when I’ve to wait about. Recently some of the games have become pixelated and freezing when trying to play. A few days ago, I followed instructions to correct these faults, I deleted the app, switch my phone off, rebooted and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app, but it just doesn’t load any games. It will load, take the loading bar to the max and just sit as loading.I’ve also cleaned the memory space  incase that was affecting the cache, I’ve updated the software and ensured all updates required have been installed. I can’t think of anything else tbh.Would anyone have any ideas on what the issue is and how I may resolve it? Many thanks in advance,Lilac 💜

every since today i haven’t been able to use these batteries, i tried a diff brand of batteries same dize but longer metal tip, those seem to work but the metal circle in the battery holder seems more lower than my other controllers metal circle, please let me know a fix to pop it back into place. email me 

Sol Protocol has been a sci-fi shooter alpha for at least a month now. They are currently scheduled for for game release in a couple weeks.Their Discord had 109 people in it. Alpha testing was managed there. I was kicked for mentioning that 5 people actively responding and testing this game only 12 hours a month was not great for June. Yes, this alpha is being run on the Dev's rig in the basement, powered up 7a-7p, a weekend a month, and only 5 people responding to those weekend Discord announcements...For those in the back, what im saying is that Sol Protocol is a scam or the Devs just don't know what theyre doing.Thank you for coming to my teddybear talk. o7

My Quest 3 is connected to my Widows 11 PC via a USB 3 link cable.After the connection between headset and PC got a few times disconnect mid game, I decided to try a repair off the link software with no success.The software was automatically removed from my system.to be sure there are no remaining meta code in the system I followed the steps to manually delete left over oculus folders.After that I downloaded the Meta Horizon Link Application from Meta's webpage.At the end off the installation  process I get following message:Restart ComputerSorry, we encountered an error during installation.Please restart your computer and try running Link Setup again.If you still experience issues contact Quest Support Any advice? Regards

Hey, i have an problem with my Meta Quest 3S.After i Factory reseted it it boots up show me the Meta Horizon OS logo and after few Seconds its start and than just a Grey Screen. I already tried every possible Fix.Factory Reset again.Firmware update via the Meta Tool from the Website Hard Reset holding the Power Button.Still Grey Screen. Controllers removed.If i connect the Headset via USB on my PC its showing up but can't do much there.Sometimes i can get the Meta Quest 3S showing up in my Horzion App on the PhoneI can update it and so far but heres comes the catch after i connect my Meta Quest 3S on the Phone it wants to do an update which is working but after it reaches 100% its stuck on nothing happens anymore ( Meta Quest 3S ) is still on with the Grey Screen.I tried to use the Meta Support but it tells me I have no Device on it so i can't get further.Trying to use the Serialnumber it tells me ( This Device has no support. )What can i do next?Thanks for the help.Best

When I click on a world and my avatar is in a world and my screen is still trying to log in and when I play in my Facebook, I can’t speak, no one can hear me and when I play on my pc they can hear me?when will Meta horizon mobile app be fixed, I also wish I can post pics here so u can see what I mean 

The other day I noticed my 11 year old account disappeared from Family Center. He can still play games etc on his quest however he can no long send or receive messages. I still follow him on Meta but I cannot message him and when I click on his profile I get a message that I either blocked him or he has deactivated his account. I also have not blocked him. He said he did not deactivate his account and cannot access Family Center on his Quest. He also cannot log into Meta on his account. Cannot reset password and his password does not work. When I request a code for password change via email I don’t get any email or code. I received no messages from Meta regarding account issues either.  Not sure what’s going on….

Hello.Oculus Quest 1.In the summer of 2024, I installed a trial version of the game "Racket Fury: Table Tennis VR". I played it actively (offline) throughout the second half of 2024 and launched it 5-6 times in 2025.Launched once at the beginning of 2026.Today, April 18, 2026, I started the helmet and discovered that I didn’t have the game, it was gone. Although I didn't delete it.How is this possible, why did she disappear?Has anyone ever had this happen?

Hi i have lost access to my meta quest oculus account bcs it has my old phone number but i no longer have possession of that phone number and there's no alternative method of sighing in.   plz help me  PS, hypitch!

Hello, I have a different account from this one on my Meta Quest. I have my passwords to my facebook and Meta Quest account, but I recently changed my phone number. To change the 2FA phone number on the Meta Quest account I get prompted to send a code to that old phone number, which makes absolutely zero sense. A reminder: I am easily able to log into my facebook account this Meta account is linked to and access all the security settings. But if I try to add my new phone number for the Meta Quest 2FA method, it requires sending a code to the old phone number. Please help.

I haven't been able to get the Meta Horizon Link to install. It goes through the downloading perfectly fine, but when I get to the installation, it stops and says it reached an error in the installation.I've tried redoing the cache, redownloading the installer, and updating my computer.What do I do?

Hello, earlier this week I was playing with my Quest 3 connected to the PC with the official link cable. Then, the connection crashed and I'm unable to connect to the PC using this cable since.Since I have only one USB-C port on my computer, I'm limited on what I can test, but I tried using a third-party cable and it worked. Also, I tried inverting the link cable ends (connecting the end that's supposed to connect to the headset to the computer and vice-versa) and it also worked.So, it seems the problem isn't with the cable or the USB port.I also tried reinstalling the drivers and the Horizon Link software, with no luck.All I get is a "Charge only cable detected" in the Quest display.Is there a fix to it?Both the Quest 3 and the cable are around six months old and I never had this issue before.

Hey I just got a quest 3s today and whilst doing the setup and after setup whilst using it. The screen would randomly turn black I could hear sound and interact with menus but I couldn't see anything. This happens almost every 30 seconds and is incredibly frustrating the only fix I have found is to turn the headset off and on again but it would just happen again.Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening and any fixes they have it would be greatly appriciated.

Quest 3 manufactured in December 2023 keeps turning off and on during use, usually after using a data cable either from my pc or from my piano's usb output (for midi which incidentally I can't get to transmit).  Each time it comes back on, I'm presented with the pin screen, but I'm only able to move the pointer with my headset, not with my controllers or hand tracking.  If I move my head more than 30 degrees I can no longer move the points, and if I press a button on the controller I can no longer move the controller, but repeatedly pressing the button on the controlller after I cant move the pointer, still causes the onscreen pointer dot to flash in response.  A few seconds later it will turn off and then repeat the above process. Powering off the device and restarting it seems to allow it to work for a little while before it does it again.  I'm not doing anything intensive in it, just meta workroom, and the first time it happened was in PianoVision.  Battery

Since the last 2.1 update I have a constant humming sound in the background on my Quest 3. I try to watch streaming F1 but it is very annoying with this humming sound in the background. Please give us options for sound so we can switch off humming or woosh sounds we don't like.

Soo, my quest 2 said that my account got disconected and i need to log in at meta.com/devices with my email, but when i try to log with my email via code, it loads for a while and goes back do the log in screen, can anyone help?
