I had a meta account a long time ago I don't remember my 10 to the store and the phone number on file is in the same one and though I've updated it and my email is the same but they will not send me the code or the email to reset my pen I keep trying over and over again don't know what to do

I honestly don’t understand why this feature was removed in the first place. For me, and for many other users, it was one of the main reasons to buy a Meta Quest. Without it, the headset has become largely useless for the way I use it.The new Anchor feature is not a replacement. I used the Follow Me feature every day while cooking, cleaning, exercising, or doing things around the house. Please consider bringing it back as an optional feature.

I don’t understand why Meta restricting the ability to use apps installed from sources other than the Meta Store. Doesn’t this violate the Digital Markets Act (DMA)? Do we live in a democratic world? Or did someone at Meta decide to follow in Apple’s footsteps—pay the fine and restore everything to the way it was?Bring back the tab, or do what all normal Android devices do: make installed apps appear alongside all other apps.

I'm trying to get my Quest 3 headset to work as both an audio input and output through the Remote Desktop app. I am able to hear my PC audio through the headset just fine, but Windows does not detect any voice activity from the headset microphone despite selecting it as the default audio input device. The volume bar is constantly halfway full, as if detecting sound, but nothing is heard in the mic playback or test recording.I can get the headset microphone to work just fine with Steam VR, but I would prefer to use the Remote Desktop app. 

I am experiencing an issue with a frozen Referral icon in the Meta Quest app.The icon has been stuck and does not update. I have been contacting Meta Support for almost two weeks, with many emails going back and forth, but the issue is still not resolved.The frustrating part is that the conversation keeps going in circles. I have explained the problem clearly, but the responses continue to focus on referral details instead of addressing the actual app issue.I am not asking about the referral reward or anything else. I only want the frozen Referral icon in my app to be fixed.Has anyone experienced the same issue or know how to get this properly escalated?Thank you

I was trying to purchase the subscription for meta horizon but it’s showing that it’s not available I have purchased it and used it earlier so was trying to buy it again.

Why hasn't Meta allowed external gamepads to be used for Horizon mobile? I use my AR glasses to watch movies and play Nintendo Switch 2 games. If Horizon mobile supports gamepads, I could use my AR glasses to play Horizon mobile on a big screen and use the gamepad to Navigate. Hope they add that feature soon.

Hi, I recently install the last updated, and since them I'm seeing some kind of drop shadows under the panels and windows. They move with the windows and panels and react similar how a shadow should do.  I just want to confirm this new half baked feature, because sometimes It seems juts wrong, or its a glitch introduced  in the last updates. This thing only can be seen in the loft and in mixed reality.  

Link App AUTOSTART disable  !Meta has been denying this option for years! This is outrageous. Reddit is full of this. We want to be able to control which window opens at Windows startup! This will be the reason for our last Quest VR headset. As soon as the next generation comes, we will look for alternatives. Simply an option to "start minimized" or disable autostart.. in settings. No regedit, no secret autostart commands.

I have been in the Quest ecosystem since the release of the Quest 1 in 2019.  I felt so much joy at the creations made for the community then on hardware that was no better than a phone, it really blew me away what developers were able to do with the technology.  I upgraded my headset to a Quest 2 and then later a Quest 3 because I truly believed in the technology and more importantly, the software that was being created for it.  Games like Beat-Saber, EchoVR, and Population One.  Especially EchoVR,  I realize that EchoVr and its discontinuation have likely been talked about to death but I recently booted up my headset again and have realized it is missing something.  EchoVR used to be such a fun space to be with other people and feel connected to the others there.  I made many connections in EchoVR that even transcended into other games.  I even purchased some games just to play with my friends from EchoVR. I just needed to express somewher

I have a Quest 3S with:My adult Meta account as the primary account.A child account (DOB 2015) created through Meta Family Center.App Sharing enabled.The child account is correctly recognized as a child account. In Account Center it says that I manage the account until the child turns 13.In Family Center:Apps are currently configured to Approve apps one by one (I also tested with Everyone / Everyone 10+ with the same results).Teen-rated apps are shown as App access: Not allowed.Mature (17+) apps are correctly blocked.However, the Quest headset still allows the child account to install and launch Teen-rated apps.For example, I tested with several free Teen-rated apps (including Last Bone, Starvault, and War of Wizards). All of them install successfully and can be launched from the child account without any parental approval.Interestingly, Mature-rated apps appear are correctly blocked. When I try to stream my game experience from headset for my friends in Discord, stream start, but not loading when friends try join. When I stop stream, it's crashing my Discord.

I just bought a new Oculus 3S for my son from Amazon during Prime days, and it is supposed to come with a Gorilla Tag Cardboard Monkenaut Bundle. I set up the Oculus, installed the game, but can't find the items that come with the bundle and the extra shiny rocks haven't been added to my account. My son played this game a ton on the Oculus 2, so he knows where to go to look for things, and he can't find any of these items in the game. I havent gotten any notification or email saying these items were added to my account. Does anyone know how I am supposed to activate this bundle?

Hi. I have two profiles on my Quest 3. One is for myself (profile 1) and the other my partner. She wanted to buy some new music packs for Beat Saber. She wasn't able to purchase them using my account info so I went into my profile, purchased the 3 new music packs thinking this would upgrade Beat Saber in her profile. But it hasn't so she has to use my profile to access the new music packs. She can access all the apps I have in my profile using her profile so one would presume that any changes made to the apps in my profile would change the apps in hers. Am I wrong or is there a setting change that is required.

It appears someone was able to get into my son's meta account and made multiple purchases for Yeeps Button Coins from the Meta store. I can see the transactions in his account and several of these happened when he was asleep. Since these did not show in my son's account a figured when they were purchased they were gifted to someone else but I can't see anything.How or who do I  contact at Meta about this? The app has no support and no option to report fraud or abuse? Thanks!Christopher

Hello!Decided to hop back into my Quest 1 after resetting it and found that my old favorite game, Dreadhalls, can no longer be found in the library. Searching some settings like the notifications settings will show options for it, but other than that I cannot find it. Looking on the store it will appear but the option to install or launch doesn’t appear and is replaced with an infinitely loading circle. The game appears installed on the Meta Horizon app, but attempting to launch it or uninstall it does not appear to change anything on the headset itself. I would appreciate any suggestions, I’m new to the forum!

 Why?Currently achievements on meta quest are almost meaningless while even having a designated app almost nobody uses called "scoreboards". I was thinking achievements should get revamped and heres how.How?For users: achievements should be displayed on the control panel and notification panel with a new app introduced named "Achievements"Achievements should have tiers like playstation and xbox.Tiers going 1 (worst) and to 4 (best)Bronze - minor achievementsSilver - normal achievements Gold - challenging achievements Platinum - extremely hard achievements (All with complete different sounds for each tier, with platinum being the "best sounding" tier.)For developers: add tools for developers to add tiers for specific achievements. 

As soon as i start any game or sometimes i dont do anything exept being in the Desktop thingi it just freezes. When i plug the cable out it doesent want to reconect only if i Restart the pc and the headset. When i want to Deinstall or Repair it with the Meta horizon link setup it just says Failed to start processIve tried making another User but this worked for mabey 30minutes and now i am back to being unable to play 

Once the game loads up, Menus are all blacked out. So I cannot. Anything I can't travel anywhere. I cannot  See any menus. i have reinstalled at least three times. Removed data ( clear data) . Hard reset.

I just loaded up horizon worlds and I am unable to make any new worlds I had made over 100vr maps what am I supposed to do with them now?

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding inconsistent and contradictory information provided by Meta Support.I was explicitly informed by a Meta representative that a store credit of 15,000 JPY had been added to my account and was asked to verify its reflection. I relied on this communication.Subsequently, I was informed that only 2,500 JPY was actually applied and that the higher amount was not permissible under policy.This represents a clear inconsistency in official support communications regarding my account status.I am requesting:A formal review of the communication provided by Meta representativesConfirmation of what credit, if any, was actually authorised and applied at the time of the original statementReview of how such conflicting information was issued.I also hope I can escalate this issue, to get the promised cash.
