Hi all. Im quite angry about meta about this. Although they dont negate that you can play with glasses under your Quest 3 they should Not permit it or do Not recommend it in any Form instead of saying "yes you can" to get more buyers. Yesterday i scratched my lenses although i usted the spacer on max Level (4). Played some hefty round Dungeons of Eternity and after taking them of I noted the scratch. The glasses rubbed against the lenses. Now im lost with my Quest 3, about a month old, with a Scratch on the right lens without any support or warranty (scratched lenses are not covered nor was PLUS available in EU)I know its my own dumb luck but im angry about Meta that they do not espacially inform about the Risks of using glasses although with Spacer on max, experiencing that the space is not really stable on lvl 4, feels like chinese craft or Bad design.Simply saying you can use glasses but you should use inset lenses, without any repair service available is in my opinión not User orie

I have gone to update to the latest version in Meta QUEST 3 and when I turn on the VR the menu appears and immediately restarts

META Quest Link app spams my C drive with JSON files on every reboot !!!!!   

The first times I charged the Meta Quest 3, it charged quickly. I've heard about 2 hours for full charge, and quicker of course in the beginning. That seems on-par with my experience. But now, after a couple of charges up to 50-80%, it suddenly charges super slowly. It went from 9% to 19% in almost two hours. I tried to connect it and disconnect it several times, but it still charges super slowly. It's now 20% (from 19%) in 15 minutes. What is going on? I'm using the official charger, but I did try with another one as well with the same result. What is wrong?

Over the past couple of days I have noticed that my quest 3 has started to experience some jitter. When I move from side to side, the menu and environment begin to twitch. When I move the controller the same thing happens. This happens both through the broadcast and in the quest itself. This has never happened before.

I'm trying to plan my first PC build and VR performance is really important to me. I can't find any specific reviews for the new AMD cards. Are there any out there yet? The cards seem great otherwise given the state of the GPU market so I'm really hoping they will be okay for VR

Hello Meta Support Team and Community,I’m reaching out for help regarding my hacked Instagram account.Earlier, Instagram had a feature where we could recover our account by requesting help from two trusted friends. I have used this option successfully in the past, where I could send a request to selected friends and, once they accepted, I was able to reset my password and recover the account.However, now when I try to recover my account and tap on “Try another way,” instead of showing the trusted friends option, it directly opens Chrome browser. There, I don’t see any option to request help from friends anymore.At first, I thought this might be an issue with my phone. So basically i got my new vr headset a couple days of go and one day i just put it on the charger and i wake up to find it blowing air and wont turn on i have tried to hold down the power button and volume button but still wont work i have literally tried every single way but it still wont work and idk if i should get it replaced please help me with this please and thank you

Hello. I am looking for information on configuring the Oculus Go goggles. A few years ago, all the articles were available, and now I can't find anything. I bought many applications for these goggles and I want to continue using them; why can't META allow me to keep using the goggles for which I paid??? I am not interested in other models. Please help me configure my Oculus Go goggles. I am looking for all the helpful information so that the goggles continue to work because I really like these games. Best regards.

Dear Meta Support Team,I updated my Quest 3 headset directly from the device today, June 6th, 2025, to version v77. The update process completed without any error messages.However, despite successfully updating, I haven't observed any of the anticipated changes or new features associated with v77. Specifically, I was expecting to see the new browser/navigator interface and a refreshed overall user interface. My headset's environment and UI appear exactly as they did before the update.I've already tried various troubleshooting steps, including restarting the device multiple times, but nothing has resolved the issue. The headset shows that it is running software version v77, yet the expected functionalities and visual changes are entirely absent.Could you please assist me in understanding why these changes aren't present and what steps I might need to take to activate them? Or is this a known issue where the update indicates completion but hasn't fully applied the new features?Thank you

i just got the headset today its new i opened it set it up everything was alright i left it to charge got back to it and hour later and nothing no orange light or green light won't turn on even if i pressed the button for 3 minutes 30 minutes or 60 minutes tried the main button and the turning it on and off and its been in sitting with the charging cable for almost 8 hours nothing at all 

So my son's 512 GB Oculus 3 is giving an error that says the cooling fan on your device is not functioning properly. Has anybody else had this issue? We have had the device not even a week. 

I have a Quest 3 that I have been using for 3 months. I have done one update & now it is stating I have an update 1of8. So I do the button & it starts then get to about 3/4 of the way & stops & goes to the screen where it states sleep for 4 hrs or start down loading. I also have checked to see if I have any update & the system checks & states "you are up to date" ,But I keep getting the pop-up that states I have update to be installed. I have also done the Power & Volume button thing & it does not show any updates. I did a factory reset & it still states I have updates. This is becoming a real PITA. HELP please someone???? 

my controller won’t turn on even after changing the batteries 

Just got my Oculus Go in the mail. Held down the power button to sync and the light appeared for 1 second then shut off. It didn't pair. I plugged the Oculus in my computer to charge it and turned it on, no light showed. I put the Oculus on and saw a screen that said, "your device is corrupt it cannot be trusted and will not boot." I rebooted several times but only got this message. I did a factory reset but to no avail. Eventually, after the 4th or 5th reboot it stopped turning on. I tried to use the AC adapter after that but that didn't work (the battery was on 19%). The charging light doesn't come on. I tried holding the power button for various lengths of times, the longest being a minute and got nothing. I tried just clicking it and got nothing. What is wrong? I really hope I don't have to exchange the headset, I waited a week for it to arrive at my dorm and I just want to play. 

Since this is not only related to Virtual Desktop, I have updated the thread title.  The download speed on the Quest Pro headset is broken on V76 and you cannot achieve more than about 200mbps despite having a strong 2400mbps Wi-Fi connection.  This was not a problem in V74.  I reported this using the in-headset bug report tool with each micro-release of V76 in PTC, yet Meta still chose to ship a broken update to the main branch anyway.My original post:Since installing PTC v76, I experience high network and decoding latency while running Virtual Desktop, especially at high bitrates (>200mbps).  This started immediately after installing PTC v76 and persists after reboot.  Another Quest Pro still on v74 on the same network connecting to the same PC with the same settings experiences no issues.  Additionally, the problem happens whether I use 5GHz or 6GHz Wi-Fi.  It seems something is causing the headset to bog down and not be able to process the stre

Please help if you can.   I have an Oculus quest.  I have an oculus account -that's how i can post here. I also linked my Facebook account to my quest years ago. No issues. Now there's been a update 4.6 overnight and I am blocked from using the Quest without migrating to a Meta account online.   Every time I try and select to continue with Facebook , it actually pulls out all my facebook email details and then tells me 'Something went wrong, no confirmed email address on file for this account' and to Log Out.   Have tried multiple browsers and through my phone but to no avail. I am locked out of my quest and wanted to get some Tribe XR djing done tonight.   Appreciate anyone who may have an answer. Tony      

As title states, past month in the PTC there's been an update that breaks the quest pro's tracking nearly completely ( minus mouth) reverting fixes, and many had reported it to what I saw. However for w/e reason vs META attempting to fix its still been rolled out publicly.   Currently 100's on the VR discords are reporting the same. Does META have an ETA when a hotfix will come out since they've removed the ability for us to rollback updates which potentially could save issues like this. Headset is currently unusable for tracking, also Meta AVI's appear as gray figures and don't respond to facial methods. This is a public issue, please respond here if you also are reporting.

I fly in DCS World using Quad Views with eye tracking, 6 days ago my Quest Link updated to version 76.0.0.452.315 and today is the first time flying in over a week and eye tracking has stopped.Quad Views log shows "No data received from the eye tracker in 60 seconds! Image quality may be degraded"Quad Views itself and DCS World can see each other, but nothing is coming out the Pro to indicate eye position.It's fine in HorizonOS (v74) and eye tranking calibrates and tests fine. Yes dev mode is on in phone app and Quest Link, and eye tracking enabled as it's always been.The difference is the update to 76.0.0.452.315I see others have similar issues and have rolled back to QL V74 as a workaround.Personally, I'd rather have a fix please 🙂

Will be sending this directly to support as well. Here's the issue: This service is currently taking 4gb of memory. Without anything attached. The Oculus program is not running. Firefox has a youtube video playing. I checked via other apps; this is working memory, not non-paged or standby memory. So ovrserver_x64 is using 4gb of memory without any use or reason to. But that's not all. In the hour or so while I was investigating this, It took another 800mb or so of memory. In processhacker it's actually taking about 5.1gb total private memory (ie; reserved memory, and most of it is working memory)This is absurd. I can imagine this could be the cause of many people's issues if they have less capable memory or a lot less of it. If I only had 8gb, I'd be well over my limit and into the pagefile, ie I would probably bsod or the program would crash. I think this would be fine (jk, this is still ridiculous for a simpler server app that isn't even running) if I had Link going or something

Can anyone let me know if you have had to return your Brand New Meta Quest 3 Headset to Meta because it just stopped working for no reason?  I am literally now on my 4th headset replacement (all refurbished replacements) in 4 months of buying my original!  The last replacement lasted for exactly 4 days before it stopped working.  4 days of use and now it has to be returned again.  I am wondering if I am the only one experiencing this or is it something that is happening to others? 

Hi guys I am here as desperate because my Meta Quest 3 started to give me this problem as per the title, I will tell you the story in more detail:I got the Meta Quest 3 new months ago and it has always worked perfectly, the other day I used it in PCVR with the cable as always and without any problems, before I turned it off I saw that out of nowhere a new item "Allow automatic power on when updating" had appeared under the item "Automatically update before power off", I didn't give it too much importance and unchecked as always and turned it off; I then put down the headset as usual which hasn't received a beating or anything these days, today I turned it back on and basically when I go into the home if I move my head above the view goes below and if I move my head below the view goes above (basically the head tracking doesn't work), the controllers are not recognized at all (but they flash and every 20 seconds they vibrate) and after a while the headset brings me back to a black scree

im trying to delete all of the quest software files off of my computer, and i looked through the local disc section in the files explorer. in local discs it says i have a bunch of quest files, but when i try to delete them it says that theyre in a different location? like it wont let me delete any of the quest files because "theyre no longer in this location" it said that they were in appdata, so i looked and theres nothing there so idk what to do
