I have a problem recording my screen in portrait or landscape aspect ratios, even after I change the aspect ratio in the advanced camera settings, it still records in square 1:1 aspect ratio.Sometimes, it randomly works, but most of time it doesn't.It also always uses the right eye, even if I set the Eye to left eye.This has been happening for a while now, and even though I'm on v81 the latest version available to me, it still doesn't fix my problem.Also note that I didn't have this problem when I first got the headset, it was fine, I would say it started happening around version 76 or 77.MetaMetalMonke​ 

So I can’t move my menu around with my controllers I have to be press the meta button and press it again for it to come to me I really need help with this. Thank you!

Hi everyone, I need help recovering my Meta account. I changed my phone number and lost access to the 2FA verification. I also lost my backup codes. I used to own a Meta Quest 2 and created my account around October 11, 2022 (email: bozek243@gmail.com). I just bought a Meta Quest 3 but I can’t log in to my old account. Every time I try, it asks for a 2FA code sent to my old number. Please, can a moderator contact me via private message to verify my ownership and help me regain access or remove 2FA? Thanks a lot.

Only had my quest about three weeks, it updatet to V81 sortware and it no longer connects to my wi-fi, never had a problem before, it just keeps saying check password and then not connecting, I made it forget network and tried to reconect, but still nothing, also re dowloaded update from quest sit but still nothing. Any help would be greatly apreciated as at the moment I feel I now own an expensive ornament.

i plugged in my rift headset, worked, then it turned off when I tried it on now it's not even recognized by the PC. As well as my touch controllers wont turn on or pair with the PC i'm with. I know my PC is compatible but maybe it's something i'm missing

Tonight I started up my Quest 2 and am unable to change the virtual environment. Also I seem to be stuck in pass through mode. What could be the problem? I have update v81.1034 which was installed today so it seems like there must be something wrong with this update. Thanks for helping.

So I have tried the recalibration and I dont got the cash to replace the control, it isnt physically beaten and I take good care of it but the stick is making it go back, constantly, nothing stops it. I have wiggled the joystick like it is a button to see if it was dirt in it and it hasnt worked, i worry i cant use it anymore. Does anyone have any advice to fix this? Thank you so much in advance.

I recently updated the to V81 and now my elite battery strap disconnects after roughly 1-2 seconds. I’ve tried resetting the battery pack. Restarting the headset, And even putting the headset back to factory and reinstalling all the updates. Any thoughts?

I'm on the Quest 2, and with one of the new updates, there is a pop-up when you slide the lens to each of the 3 notches. I have mine pushed out all the way, and it's been working fine for years, but every 10-15 minutes a really annoying popup comes up saying the IPD is at 68, it just says what it's already at, and I'm not sure why, but I've never had this problem, and it doesn't seem like a hardware issue at all. Anyone know how to revert to a older update or factory reset the device and make it install a older update instead of latest?The new update just makes everything crash and feel garbage all for this ugly meta slop they keep forcing in my faceBefore i was able to chill ingame watch youtube/twitch while browsing the internet and checking DMs But now the next day im lucky if the bug reporter doesnt just crash itself while writing complaints.Tried factory resetting the device but it starts installing this new garbage while forcing me to watch meta slop tutorials

None of my games are downloading or updating on my meta quest 3s right now is there an issue with servers or something? I have Zero games on my headset right now that are playable 

Horizon Central/Worlds need a feature for adults who either can't stand kids or don't want to hear them constantly screaming, talking, arguing/crying towards their siblings.Suggest an auto mute feature for certain age groups or for accounts made for kidsSuggest an adult only lobby for horizon central/worlds make it so there are 2 setting for users so they can choose whether to join a 10+ or 18+ lobby of course 18+ would be for adults only while the other could still be for everyone and their kids.Any adult would only love this feature; this could not ever be a bad thing unless it just doesn't get made right then it's an issue but otherwise all adults would love this.With how much a quest costs the fact that this is not already a feature is crazy. Because kids are not buying quests adults are, whether for themselves or for their kids, either way adults are the ones buying the product.

my meta quest 3 lost all headset and controller tracking. I have factory reset it 7 times and the same problem occurs every time. you can use the head set for about 1 minute and then all goes south. I have booted it and checked for software updates. The tracking is so bad that I can't get to my home screen to reset or disconnect my controllers or guardian. 

I just bought a Quest 3 to replace my Quest 2 and for some reason it is displaying what the left eye sees in BOTH eyes so i have two left eyes. it is doing this in all games i have tried except for H3VR where it works perfectly fine.

I know this has been discussed before but it’s happened again today. i was unable to install a new environment. I did a factory reset and now i can’t install or download anything. All my games and even the browser or meta horizon can’t be loaded back onto it so it’s effectively useless! I tried to bring this up via help and support but even that’s saying it doesn’t recognise my profile or the devices serial number so I can’t resolve it that way either 

 My Rift S started to disconnect ramdomly last week. Now it is having connection issues and the video isn't working, showing just 3 dots. I tried to contact suppot but my seial number is not being accepted! Please Help!

I'm slightly going insane. Switched to t-mobile and now I can't get 2 factor authentication texts. Manager at the store says they block facebook sms. So now I can't get back into my account anywhere. I've tried every work around on reddit and nothing has helped. Any ideas?

Hello, I need help. After the latest update to v81, when my immersive home switched to the new one, my CPU and GPU are under too much load without Link, about 30-50% CPU utilization in the VR home, and GPU about 60-80%. Because of this, just a minute after starting the headset, I can feel that it has become warm. Without the VR home mode, CPU utilization is about 20-30% and GPU is around 30-40%. It's a bit cooler but you can still feel it with your hand. What should I do? Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing the same?(Also, on the day of the update, I downloaded a VPN APK from a website and thought it might be because of that, like a virus. I deleted it, but it didn't help. After that, I did a factory reset, which also didn't help. Even in the headset activation menu, it was noticeably warm, probably around 30-45 degrees.)

I just bought 2 VR games from the Meta Store one was $18 and the other was $13. The $13 one I finished in a few hours the same day that I bought it and the $18 one in almost finished with it. So what now do they just grow old in my Quest 3 Library?? The PAID VR games don't last very long at all making it not worth the money to spend on them so what now do I do with completed VR games in my library??? You must think I have a lot of free time to play VR games all day and that's not the case it's that there not very challenging or long lasting. So what do I do with a full VR Library of completed VR games?? Please Help!!Brooklynite74.
