It'll start installing, but in the final half randomly it'll stop and say I need to restart my computer. I've tried:Restarting my computerDeleting the temp cache folder in my main driveDeleting the folder in appdata I have no more ideas. Any help?
The machine powers on and you see the logo, after the logo, my family of four, four profiles show up. When I click on any of the profiles there is nothing on screen, I just see my living room.Holding the Meta logo button does nothing. How can I get the display to appear?
As the title says, I gifted my friend Deadly Delivery on the Meta Quest store, and although I got the email that he accepted it and can see on the store page that he owns it, the game won't appear on his library nor does it allow him to download it from the store page. Instead the game appears with the price greyed out. If he tries to install the game through the phone app, nothing happens when tapping "Install on headset". He doesn't play a lot of VR, but I've never had an issue with gifting a game before.
Hi guys, long time Meta Quest user here. This is more of a complaint about the recent QA at Meta for the Meta Horizon Link app on pc, than an actual call for help - however: if you got any recommendations on how to pair my Quest 3 device without uninstalling everything (including all folders and cleaning registry), i appreciate it.I guess every long time Meta user knows, that Meta's horizon pc software lacks usability/stability from time to time. I got myself an enthusiast dedicated wifi6e router setup (pc wired connected oc), a NASA PC that is ALWAYS perfectly up to date (drivers, windows 11 updates, etc). In general i would make the claim, that i find solutions for every minor hickup connected with wireless pcvr on a MEta Quest HMD (Q2, Q3 day one...).Virtual Desktop is my daily driver for wireless streaming, because auf its usability, AV1 codec, and its stability (you know: all the things air link is lacking...) However, for some usecases i use Steam Link for some others i use air li
Hi! I need assistance regarding a Meta Quest 3 headset that appears to be hardware-banned from Meta servers. I recently purchased this device second-hand. After performing a factory reset and attempting to set it up with my personal Meta account, I encountered an authentication error. Checking the device logs via ADB revealed the exact error: Error 400 — Subcode 2699019: "Device Banned From Authentication: This device has been banned from Meta servers and authentication." The automated Meta Store Support website rejects my serial number, stating that support is unavailable for this device, which prevents me from creating a regular support ticket. I am the new, legitimate owner of this headset and had no involvement in whatever caused the ban under the previous owner. I can provide the serial number, photos of the device, proof of my purchase, and full ADB logs. Could a community manager please help me escalate this to the appropriate internal team or manually open a support case for in
Pls help the controllers not working
This has happening to me for awhile but whenever I try to buy a game it tells me that it noticed something unusual and for safety my request could not be completed
Hi all, I've been having a weird issue with my son's Quest 2 since the last update. I'm the device owner, and he has his own profile on the headset with app sharing enabled. The problem is that no matter what game he launches, the controllers and hand outlines remain visible. This only happens on his account—my account works fine. I’ve tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps:• Removing and re-adding his account • Turning off experimental settings • Clearing all boundary data • Toggling body and hand tracking on and off • Disabling auto hand tracking switching • Doing a full factory reset on the headset Before the factory reset, there was also a window handle (Small white floating bar) with no window attached constantly on the screen. It appeared in both the Quest home environment and in games, and though it could be dragged around, it didn’t seem attached to anything. The window handle hasn’t reappear
Hey there,I'd like to know if someone here has information regarding the licence of the official Oculus (Rift) Press-Kit.I'm studying in Germany and I've used in a webdesign course this semester. Now me and my teammate have been nominated for a nationwide multimedia award and would like to submit our work, but I'm not sure if we're allowed to use the Oculus CI and images for this purpose, as we have no licence.I've already contacted the official Oculus support (media team) a week ago (you know, like in the rap-song), but haven't received any answer yet. So now I'm asking you, the community. Maybe someone had a similiar problem.I'm looking forward hearing from you!Have fun with your HMDs!Thank you for your time.
my Quest Pro controllers just will not track reliably, theyll be backwards and upside down more often than not, and trying to turn them off and back on again doesnt even work because they either go right back to just being as useless as before, or they just wont turn back on again. At this point my Quest Pro may as well be a paper weight it useless
Hi everyone, I'm trying to determine whether this is a recent Meta Link runtime regression or a compatibility issue with my Windows build. I've been troubleshooting this issue for quite a while and eventually noticed that the freeze itself doesn't appear to be the primary problem. While using Quest Link (both USB Link and Air Link), opening almost any desktop application (Chrome, Discord, Steam, Settings, etc.) causes the Compositor Frames Dropped counter in Oculus Debug Tool to increase continuously. After the dropped frame counter reaches several thousand (typically around 3000-4000), the Link session freezes completely. The PC itself does not freeze. Windows remains fully responsive, and OVRServer.exe continues running. Only the headset image freezes.Things I've already tried:Clean reinstall of Meta Horizon LinkUSB Link and Air LinkUpdated NVIDIA graphics driverUpdated Intel graphics driverDisabled Sliced EncodingVerified USB Link bandwidth (~2.1 Gbps)None of these changed the behavio
I am writing this from a temporary account I just created specifically to ask for help, as my main Meta account is currently disabled and I cannot log in to post here.My main Meta account was deactivated because it was linked to an Instagram account that was suspended for not following community rules. While I understand the decision regarding Instagram, my Meta Quest account has absolutely nothing to do with it.I have a Quest 3 and I have invested a significant amount of money in a large library of games. Currently, my headset is basically a brick because I can no longer access the content I legally purchased. To be honest, I don’t care about the Insta account anymore. Meta can keep it disabled. However, I desperately need to recover my Meta or Oculus account and my game library. It feels very unfair to lose hundreds of dollars worth of digital content because of a linked social media profile issue.Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there a way to decouple my banned Instagram from m

I looked everywhere and I can’t find my controller is there a way to locate it or use Bluetooth or anything like that to locate it and if it’s off is there still another way to locate it and turn it on
Hello,I missed the deadline to confirm the age associated with my Meta account, and the verification link in the email has now expired. The account has been permanently disabled, so I can no longer access it or contact support from that account. Is there any way to complete the age verification after the deadline and recover the account? Has anyone experienced the same situation, or does anyone know how to reach the appropriate support team?Thank you for any advice.
For the past week i've been unable to install the Meta app on my new gaming laptop, however i get the same error after it gets near to the end of the install bar, i just get the popup saying "restart computer" I've tried:Restarting my computerinstalling OpenSSL (both Lite & the main one)Repairing x64 and x82 visual studio files Deleting the Oculus folders in the Local fileDeleting the Meta folder in Program files Anybody know what else i can do? Seems pointless to have a fairly expensive VR headset which i can't use on the games i want. Cheers!
I’ve had issues for the last few months with my height in walkabout. All courses and at the welcome shack. I have a quest 2. My husband has no issues on his quest 3. I’ve tried updating/resetting the boundaries and accessibility settings and nothing helps. Sometimes it makes it worse (even taller lol) what can I do?
206.0.0.109.432When running any other apps off Meta store (e.g. Spotify), audio comes in through the app to my Quest 2.When running Link with or without PCVR, I can see and here the HDMI1/2 Monitors within Link. When running Virtual Display off Meta store, PC Audio does not pipe in through Occulus Virtual Audio Device whether it is managed through Windows or Quest 2 Virtual Display is the only app that has this issue.
Anyone else experiencing a DCS constant load screen since the latest update (using Quest 3 and link cable)? I am able to start my link and it transitions to the screen with the DCS logo but just keeps saying loading. I tried MSFS2024 and it is working fine. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello Meta Support Team, I just created a brand‑new Meta Horizon account. I did not post any content, send messages or break any community rules. But my account was restricted right after registration. This account is for personal use only. I have never violated Meta’s terms of service. Could you please help review my account and lift the restriction? My username: Alaric_0609 Registered email: ************ Thank you very much.
Hello, New here to everything related to VR.. & the Oculus Quest 2. I recently purchased a Quest 2 from a co-worker. Thought it made more sense to buy it pew-owned than to purchase it brand new, since I was giving it as a gift to my daughter for Christmas. Well, the person I purchased it from never deleted their account off of the device. So, when I got it all set up (or so I thought)... I made an account for my daughter on the app. I then tried to link the headset to the account I had made, but every time I would try to pair the headset to the app, it would always come back with an error, saying it couldn't pair the device. So, we are on the original owners account, and since we were on the previous owners account when it turns on.... we figured out we could go into the account settings and "shared" the device with my daughters meta account, so she could play a some games, until we could figure out how to pair the device to her account..... I need help trying to get the orig
My Quest 3S was completely bricked in a permanent power menu boot loop immediately following a forced Meta software update. I have already done a full hardware factory reset, but the core system files remain corrupted. Support originally refused a free replacement because my warranty is expired and told me to pay $209.99. Now, they just emailed me telling me to manually flash the firmware using Android SDK developer tools on a PC, warning me that doing so might make the device totally unusable! I don't even own a computer. It is completely unfair for Meta to push a broken update that ruins my functional hardware, and then expect me to act like a software developer or pay over $200 to fix it. Can a Meta forum moderator please escalate this ticket and help me get a free manufacturer replacement label?
Hello,I have a second-hand Meta Quest 2 that I cannot complete the initial setup with after a factory reset. The headset boots normally and displays the 5-digit pairing code, but pairing fails in the Meta Horizon app.I have tested this on:- Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra- iPhone- Windows 11 PC- Different Bluetooth/Wi-Fi attemptsThe headset itself appears to be working correctly at recovery level.Device Info shows:- Serial number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Model revision: Monterey (PVT Revision B SDC)- Boot slot: B- Secure Boot: Yes- Lock state: Locked- Build variant: User- RAM: 4068 MBADB also detects the same device correctly in Sideload Update mode:"xxxxxxxxxxxxxx sideload"However, I have two unusual problems:1. The official Meta Quest Software Update Tool detects the headset over USB, but then displays:“Your device is not supported.”2. When I try to verify the headset serial number on the Meta Support website, I get:“No product found. Check the info that you've entered and try again.”My Meta account
