Hi, I just bought the new Meta Quest 3 goggles, and one of the lenses (right one) is constantly dimmed and shows a barely visible Meta HorizonOS logo. How can I get rid of it?

My first gen headset is not being recognized by the meta app. It has sent me verification codes but my headset is not being recognized in the app. Why?  I have factory reset my headset and it has a code but I have no where to put it.

Hello,I’m hoping someone can help me out. Randomly my Quest 3S headset started to turn on to the Meta logo but then would go to a black screen after that and never actually boot. Initially we thought it wasn’t charging properly, but after trying 4 different chargers, cords, boxes and outlets. That doesn’t seem to be the problem.Any help is greatly appreciated - Thank you

This stream is for the PCVR users experiencing a screen blackout with the popup saying roughly "USB-C Charging Disabled, please clean charging port".I have been Meta for about a week at this point. I have been following their every advice and spending my own money to try to resolve this.The root cause of this issue is with how the device charges. Once the Q3 (any smart phones, basically anything new) gets to 70-80% charged, it lowers the current to better charge the battery and reduce heat. For some reason, Meta is using this current drop as a signal for when a "short" is occurring (I would imagine to protect against the risk of thermal events or overheating to the port) it disables the port and throws the popup.The first issue is that its detecting something that IS NOT there. This is a "better safe than sorry" solution and they value preventing a lawsuit over customer experience. I can't change any settings on my headset through the Horizon app and it says that I don't own the headset even though I'm using the account I used to setup my headset.

My friend just got new quest pro controllers but can’t connect them to his quest 3s, is there any way to connect them?

This has been an ongoing issue for a month. I have not been able to get anywhere with this. My son put on the headset one day and it says that we needed to turn off the traveling mode or something like that. We could not get it out of this little specific area we tried rebooting we tried everything underneath the sun it would turn on and give us this exact same spiel. So we wound up having to do a hard factory reset. The medical logo comes up the infinity loop spins around then it's it's thing and goes to a black screen. After trying to reach out to be here and not being able to do anything because it is not connected to an account anymore and I can't get it connected to the internet to reconnect it's an endless loop of I have a brick. I found something online yesterday and I tried to do it here this morning but now the left controller despite being on with a fresh battery will get stuck in the loop of updating it gets to 15% and then that's it. Hay so just got a meta quest 3 on the weekend, i set it up and found out im banned from meta horizon worlds even tho iv never been in them before or had vr prior to buying the headset, i went to contact support about it but its not showing my device under my account and when I put the serial number in its saying cant find a device associate with it, the device shows up in the app but not under my account in meta website

My friend showed me their 500-hour playtime on a game in SteamVR. I'm playing the same game, but I don’t know how long I’ve played since I’m using a Quest 3. I bought QGO and checked the system’s recorded playtime, but it’s not an official feature and could reset anytime. Why doesn’t Quest include a playtime tracking feature? I think it’s really important.

Above are the problems im having with my quest 3 i havent touched it in over 3 months tried to get back on it and i charged it wouldnt hard reset or factory reset and now its just black and no led 

I've spent nearly 2 hrs trying to set up my daughter's quest, which she has had for over a year now. As much as this headset costs, and how 'big' of a name 'meta' is, I'm not understanding why this needs to be so complicated. I set it up previously, and the account was scheduled for deletion, and meta/fb is getting my accounts mixed up and now I can't access my secondary account. All the issues I'm having are complex within themselves, and I'm sick of trying to figure it out.ISSUE # 1Meta allowed me to create an account under the email I want to use (lets call it secondary), but when I try to log into facebook with that email it's saying there's no account associated with that email. I've had this fb account for years, the image on meta is what my profile picture is ( a picture of my daughter as a baby nearly 10yrs ago smh). My CV1 recently stopped working so I had to re set it up. Well the option to set up a CV1 is no longer in the oculus app. What the hell? How am I supposed to use my CV1 if yall just remove the ability to set it up? What exactly am I supposed to do?

I own the Meta Quest 3 VR headset, and I would like to pair it with the app on my phone. I’ve already paired it with my phone once before. Both the headset and the phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. However, the app won’t pair with the headset. It just keeps searching for the headset over and over, but never finds it.

So ive been having this oculus quest 2 for a while and i recently tried to use it and only the right controller turned on and the left didn't so i added a new pair of batteries even clean the battery compartment and the left one still didn't turn on if its possible y'all could send me a new pair I would want to use this bad boy again!

My quest 3 has been disconnecting from wifi every 15 minutes and lagging horribly for the past few months. I know this is a common issue and I’d like to know if there’s actually a way to stop it. I’ve already reset the computer and the headset, uninstalled and reinstalled everything, factory reset my quest, reset the router, got a whole new router, switched to device mac instead of randomized, and I’m cable linked to the computer. It’s incredibly annoying and this should not be a months long issue. If there is no way to permanently fix this I’ll likely be switching to another brand.

Having an issue redeeming a gorilla tag shiny rocks card store code every time I go to redeem code it tells me to login and complete previous redemption, but I have already done so 

Do I need to register my Quest 3 in order for the 1-year warranty to be in effect?  How and where do I register it?  Thanks in advance.

When viewing a video on the meta horizon app it isn’t displaying properly.  

i plugged in my new external mic into my meta quest 3s but now i can’t hear anything unless the mic is out so i can’t hear anyone unless i take the mic out but then i can hear but not talk. Help Me

I keep hearing about how The Quest 3 is great for beginners etc. But i have a really nice PC and want to use VR for sitting down and immersin or simulators. not shooting and running and moving around etc. I then hear that the Quest 3 isnt great for PCVR and its more a standalone system. I was thinking about one of the Pixmas or the BSB2e? opinions? it would be mainly for Flight Sim and racing Sims and games where you jsut look around in beautiful sceneries like you are there. Im not sure if that makes senseat all but yea

Experiencing interference in Quest 3s. From the moment it is switched on a series of bright dots appear in a line just above eye level looking like sun flare. These persist whatever content is playing, so it's in the headset. Doesn't seem to be an issue with either lens. Any thoughts?

Hi, when I go to buy a game or shiny rocks it’s says we notice something unusual and for security this request can’t be completed! Please visit help centre. It’s never done  this as I have bought games and shiny rocks few weeks ago for my son. I have tried 2 different bank cards and even bought a gift voucher loaded it on and tried with quest cash I won’t let me use that either! Could someone please helpthank you.

That reddit post is a day old and already has 100plus upvotes and comments of people having similar issues. That is also not the only post showing this new issue. I understand that meta doesnt support 3rd party cables or devices blah blah blah. When hundreds of users use a charge adapter or cable you dont make it not work one day. Tesla isnt goin to disable charging using an adapter at a power station cause they want you to use their car. I

How can I get in contact with support about a faulty headset that stopped charging?
