My Meta Quest 3s comes on and I see the meta symbol then the screen goes blank. It won’t let me do anything. I’ve tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, I’ve tried the power button and the volume button at the same time and nothing. It comes back on and does the exact same thing. Any help please?
So, recently I had purchased a quest 3S. The headset is great and I've been having no problems with it aside for the fact that I can't seem to pair my quest pro controllers with it. When will the pro controllers become compatible with the 3S so I can stop using my Quest 2 to maximize the 150 dollar purchase I made on top of buying a new headset?
Since the most recent update, I have been experiencing an issue with the Meta Quest Remote Desktop app.I use two monitors on my PC. Before the update, when I connected to my PC with my Quest 3, I was able to choose which monitor I wanted to enlarge. I usually enlarged the monitor that Windows identifies as Display 1.Since the update, whenever I try to enlarge Display 1, the Remote Desktop app keeps switching to my second monitor instead. When this happens, it also seems to force the apps from both screens together, making the desktop difficult to use. This was not happening before the latest update, and I have not been able to find a setting that fixes it.So far, I have tried clearing the app cache, but that did not resolve the issue. I have also noticed occasional screen flickering since the update.Has anyone else run into this issue with a Quest 3, the Remote Desktop app, and a dual-monitor PC setup? Is there a setting or workaround that can force Remote Desktop to correctly recognize
Bonjour,Durant la configuration, lorsque je rentre le code l'application m'indique "casque introuvable". Le bluetooth et la localisation sont bien activé. Les autorisations sont bien accordés. Quelqu'un sait d'où vient le problème ?

Hello,I recently purchased a brand new Meta Quest 3 (512 GB), and it will arrive in 2–3 days. Since the device has not been activated yet, I wanted to accept a device referral before setting it up.However, I have tried many different device referral links from different users. Every time I open a referral link, it asks me to sign in. After I sign in to my Meta account, I always receive the following message:"This page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed."I have tried multiple referral links, different browsers, and different devices, but the result is always the same.Could you please check whether my Meta account or my region is eligible for the device referral program? If there is an issue with my account, could you help me resolve it?Thank you very much for your assistance.
I'm hoping a moderator can help with an account-level language locale that's frozen. Setup: personal Meta/Horizon account, no Facebook or Instagram linked. Years ago I set the language to Finnish on a Quest headset, which I've since sold. Now:iOS Horizon app: correct (English), it follows my phone. All account emails: Finnish.Accounts Centre web page: Finnish. There is no language toggle anywhere in the Horizon app or Accounts Centre for a Meta-only account, and I no longer own a device to change it from. So the stored account locale appears stuck with no user-facing way to reach it. Could a moderator reset my account's language locale to English (en_US)? Happy to verify identity via DM. Device support already redirected me since this isn't a device issue — it's an account setting. Thanks in advance.
I had a broken quest two and the parts and accessories from it and recently found a cheap quest 2 to use with them. When in the setup process i managed to easily connect the left controller but the right one blinks yellow/orangeish, and after holding the main button + B it does a light down with a winding down vibration and does the following: blinks green once, blinks green once again but quickly, after a pause it blinks with a winding up vibration, and at the end it blinks again before repeating the same pattern after a while. Yes the lights in this pattern are all green. I tried factory resetting it and i think that after one combination the headset started updating the left controller. Removing the left controller from the app and room also didn't help and the quest is connected to the internet. May be a lot of information but i'd rather not explain that i already tried all those things when someone starts suggesting fixes
The installer fails every single time with "Restart your computer... an error occurred during installation," even on a clean system. I traced it down to a specific legacy driver package failing its health check, which triggers the installer to roll back everything it just successfully installed. Confirmed with logs and a controlled experiment. Support (chat/email) has not engaged with the technical details after multiple attempts. SetupWindows 11 (build 26100/26200)Quest 2, connecting via Air LinkVisual Studio installed (relevant to one sub-issue below) SymptomMeta Horizon Link installer always ends with:"Restart your computer. Unfortunately, an error occurred during installation. Restart the computer and try running the Link installer again. If the problems don't disappear, contact Quest support."This happens on every attempt: fresh downloads, --unattended mode, different installer sources, after full uninstall/reinstall, regardless of antivirus state. Hello, I recently turned on my Quest—which I hadn't used in about six months—and I'm encountering an issue I've never had before. Once powered on, the view toggles back and forth between passthrough and the virtual environment every two seconds. I first tried performing a factory reset, but that didn't work. Then, I installed the latest update via my computer as recommended by Meta, but that didn't work either.I've tried all of this several times, but nothing seems to help. Do you have any ideas on what to do? Or is my headset dead? Have a great day, everyone.
Hello, I was sent here by support to check the forums with no luck, which was not helpful.I work for a public health sector service where we use the Quest 2 headsets for teaching education, our IT team requires a Meta ISO27001 certification to keep on records to say that Meta have protection in place from cyber security threats. If someone could please help it would be great, it has to be some kind of digital proof. I am happy to provide more information if required.
Hello,I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my Meta Quest 3 where the right display stops working and stays completely black. The issue happens almost every time I start the headset. The right display shows nothing, not even the logo at boot, and remains lit but black.Factory reset and firmware reinstallation did not solve the problem. The only temporary workaround I’ve found is to perform a hard reboot by holding the power button for several seconds while wearing the headset. After this, the right display works normally for the rest of the VR session. However, after powering off and trying again the next day, the issue returns. Sometimes the black screen even appears in the middle of a session. This seems like a display initialization issue rather than a hardware failure, since the display works perfectly once it starts properly. Could you please advise on how to fix this, or escalate it to your engineering team? OS V78
Hello. When trying to get help of a pairing problem with my Oculus Quest (1st gen) the meta support page ask for my device's serial number but doesn't reconigze any.I'm using both the S/N from the actual device of the one on the box (they are different) but neither of them is recognized so I cannot open a support request to the meta team. Greetings.
Hello my name's Trevor and im trying to log in to my meta account that i made about maybe 4 years ago. The problem is the email linked with the account is deactivated since i didn't use it for at least a year and I can't reactivate it because thats not allowed on yahoo apparently. When i follow the meta support instructions for this, it always leads me to a screen saying "try another device to continue" which does make sense because im now on a new device that ive never logged into my meta account on before. Anyways could i possibly switch the current linked email to my current email please? I'm happy to provide any info you need to verify its actually me. Sorry i wouldn't be bothering anyone if i didn't have any apps on there.
After booting (Link cable, USB-C to USB-C, always plugged in to the PC), my Quest 3 headset is only ever seen as connected to the PC (Windows 11) if I pull out the USB-C plug on the headset and push it back in again. I am concerned that this will eventually damage the plug. Why is this? How can I fix it? Just very occasionally (<5% of the time I'd say), the headset is connected and works without my having to disconnect and reconnect it, but I have no idea why - no different procedure. I have checked in Device Manager that none of the USB ports are set to turn off under Power Management. I have also tried setting the Oculus service to delayed start, but there's no change. Tried a different cable - still the same.Once connected, the USB test via the Oculus app shows 2.5GB and I almost never then have any problems with the connection - until the next reboot.Any ideas on this please? Thanks.
I have a Quest 3S and no link cable, so I have to use Air Link. When I go and connect to my PC, it just keeps loading without sending me to the Home space for Link. It just doesnt go further than the loading screen with the Meta logo and the three dots

Hello! I haven't used my Meta Quest 2 in a while (2 years minimum). I have recently picked it up again and had to log in again. Unfortunately after logging in I found that all my games are gone (assuming it's an account migration issue). I have seen other posts on this matter where support staff said to find a code sent via email to redeem purchases after migration, but I have been unable to find that email anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated. I have all of my receipts for my purchases.
This just started happening after I powered it off to charge and I tried everything. every search that came up didnt work and as a last resort I tried factory resetting it and its still doing this sleeper mode loop does anvone have anv ideas?https://youtube.com/shorts/wAOG0K7iGVg?is=ioXwOPpDINx4uzwQ

So I recently found my Quest 2 headset laying around on a case after not touching it for over 1-2 years, and I got in the mood to try VR again. It was working just fine, however, I noticed it wanted to me to update it, and so I updated it.After updating however, it's now bricked, it's booting just fine but the main screen is now flickering between the gray thingy from the cameras and the main menu. The controllers also keep turning on and off and the headset seems to be heating up quite a bit.I tried many things such as:Updating firmware with ADB using the sideload update optionUpdating the headset again using Meta's websiteFactory resttingAll of which had no success, so I really appreciate any help with this.
SummaryOn Quest 3 running the Public Test Channel build (v81 / reported as 2.6 in Settings), any app that opens an audio input stream can be killed by a native crash in the system audio stack. The fault is SIGSEGV / SEGV_ACCERR inside memcpy_to_i16_from_i32 in /system/lib64/libaudioutils.so, called from android::AudioRecord::processAudioBuffer().This is not app code. The entire backtrace is system libraries. The crashing thread is AudioRecord, which the platform owns.I hit this in Supernatural (in.with.flow.Swords), but nothing in the trace is specific to that app, and I'd expect any mic-using app on this build to be affected.EnvironmentDevice: Meta Quest 3 (oculus/eureka/eureka)Build fingerprint: oculus/eureka/eureka:14/UP1A.231005.007.A1/52345320022000520:user/abl_signing_keys:release,amss_signing_keys:release,release-keysAndroid version: 14Channel: Public Test Channel (v81, shown as 2.6)Audio hardware: Built-in headset speakers and microphone only.
