I am being locked out of the map I made 116 when I try to load map it says unable to travel preview just reverts to an older version of the map with the updates I made missing this is very annoying please give my map back!!!

Hi I need help with my Meta account I accidentally entered the wrong year of birth when trying to change my birthday in Accounts Center and submitted ID verification but it was rejectedNow I cannot access the birthday change page it instantly shows You will need to visit Accounts Center using a laptop or desktopI am already on a Windows PC browserI have tried different browsers clearing cookies and cache different network and waiting several days but nothing worksI cannot change my birthday or resubmit ID verificationCan someone help reset this or allow me to try again Thank you 

My child installed the Meta Quest 3. I installed the Meta Horizon app. I had to give permission installing it since he is not 13 years old yet. They asked to install a parental control which I wanted to do but the question disappeared before I could do anything. On the Meta Horizon app, I want to change the time limit but it looks grey and I can not push any limit. Not when I choose the settings of my child nor when I choose for the name of myself. I can not do anything to change it.

Within all the games I play (Gorilla tag related) all the players (even NPCs oromsters that chase the players) have a tiny, but annoying stutter that happens. Ive restarted my vr but that did nothing. Would like help.

Hi,I've been unsing quest link for years... I have even 2 headsets (quest 2) and 2 cables.For the last year I was using Virtual Desktop what has made the often problematic process of conecting with my PC way smoother...But it requires 5G in addition to the cable. I'm in a room with no 5G so I started using again quest link through cable. It worked well for a while but since last updates about 2-3 weeks ago, I'm having disconections.-The screen freezes with jagged borders and I lose the conection with the PC. -In the past, I could sometimes at least re-conect to the PC and save the game situation... however now either the screen becomes pitch black or simply cannot connect again...I wonder if other users are having this issue. I never trusted quest link very much... BTW: I even moved the Desktop to an area with 5G to test this issue. Quest link got broken but with Virtual Desktop I could play without issues. 

I don't know why this started, but all off a sudden my headset started experiencing random times where the tracking would just "turn off", like no head movements or anything, and when the tracking menu appeared, the background was just pure black, like if the cameras were off or something, this was just something that would happen once every battery life it seemed, so I brushed it off. But not long ago it started happening more and more often. Now it's to the point where it never turns on, except once every couple headset boots, but it just goes back to its state after a couple of seconds. Currently I have it on the account select screen (since I have two accounts on my headset), and it's just stuck, I mean there's my accounts, and the white dot that points where your head is when no controllers are connected, and my controllers randomly just blink their little light to then vibrate a couple of seconds later. I’ve been a Quest user for a while now, and I need to voice my frustration because the software on the Quest 3 is starting to feel completely horrid compared to the flawless system we used to have. It feels like ever since Meta shifted all their excitement and engineering resources toward AI, the actual VR gaming experience has been left in the dust.Here are the specific, glaring issues making the headset incredibly frustrating to use right now:The Texting Menu Freeze: Whenever I am in a game and open a text chat to message a friend, the white Meta bar gets permanently stuck on the screen. It completely locks up the inputs. I’m stuck staring at the game but I can't access the in-game menus or play until I force-refresh the system. Its starting to get silly now. Almost as if Meta doesnt want you getting free stuff.A few days ago, you couldnt open Mobile meta games (ones required to play to complete certain quests), a day later i couldnt even access the quests and rewards option, always getting an error, and now for 4 days in a row, when i complete the requirements for a quest, the quest disappears from the list but doesnt pay out the relevant amount of meta points.Feels almost intentional. As before, this issue is not resolved by clearing cache, deleting data, re-installing mobile app, using a different device, etc.Please fix this its very disheartening.

I order a replacement controller on warranty over a month ago and did advanced replacement. It says should be delivered by April 28th still when I check it and the email support hasn't been much help! I just need my controller because I do this daily. I also ask for any more information they can give but they say they will and tell me nothing. I just wanna use my vr.

Ok pardon the language but this is asinine.i have the Quest 2, paired with a pair of Touch Pro controllers.  The idea that, in 2025, that the controllers can be upgraded by software is great.  But an update that happens on its own schedule, and ESPECIALLY without a visible progress bar to TELL you it’s happening is ridiculous.  I use my VR to workout, and I have a finite amount if time to squeeze said workout in.  To get my gear ready, turn on the VR, and have the controllers not appear is frustrating.  Then to not have ANY way of knowing what’s happening, and, even if i have a suspicion that it’s  an update and not have a progress bar (that is the default displayed in everything from routers, to game consoles, pc firmware updates and even 3d printers) in 2025, is downright embarrassing.Sure, updates need to happen, absolutely.  A better and more congenial design would be to:Let users know an update is availableAllow the user to initiate the download

I was messing around in the accessibility main menu on quest three and I’m pressed on voice command or something and now I can’t use my controller or my hands to navigate on my headset and it gave me a list of words to say so I can use the voice command thing or whatever to navigate, and I didn’t look at it and now I don’t know what words to say to turn off the setting,  can someone please help me. 

We're seeing an issue on Meta v2.5 (205.0.0.3.1674) where holding the Meta button to recenter the view stops working a few seconds after launching an app or dismissing the DUI. It affects both Quest 3 and Quest 3S in controller mode.The only workaround we've found is bringing up the DUI and dismissing it. This restores recentering briefly before it stops working again. This does not repro on 85.0.0.200.1707, so it appears to be a regression in v2.5.

got the headset mailed straight from meta. I did the initial set up as instructed and when i restarted it: the background reset to the new home environment. factory resetting it does nothing but reset the background back to the psuedo-foggy dance studio. the main issue seems to be that the latest headset update is invisible to the phone app. any ideas?

After the recent update, my cursor constantly flashes the working in the background circle. In task manager 'Meta Quest Remote Desktop.exe flashes then suspends followed by a windows problem reporting and repeat. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it from the website and the issue started up again as soon as the install was complete. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I disable auto updates so that I don't have to deal with annoying stuff such as "loft" being turned on and replacing the default passthrough main view. (But of course, this headset auto updates even if I turn off auto updates)I want to imagine that the virtual worlds on the headset don't exist at all- passthrough, until I open an app or game explicitly.Latest update I can go into passthrough, but I can't do anything with it, and there's an annoying unclosable popup saying I can go back to the loft at any time... And clicking the oculus button used to open quick settings (RIP easy access, revert the navigator) but now it GOES BACK TO THE LOFT, WHY.I want to go back to the loft NEVER.WHO ASKED FOR FORCED SOCIAL FEATURES, forced digital environments? I got the quest 2 and 3 for the hardware, and the software is awful and gets worse each update. WHERE'S MOVE WITH YOU WINDOWS??? Window anchors are useless in passthrough, move with you was actually useful!!!!!!!!!! 

I was having trouble pairing my controllers, so I did a factory reset. Now I'm stuck on the screen that shows the controller tabs have to be pulled out. I've already pulled out the batteries and also replaced them. I can't use the phone app because I can't get to the Wifi setup screen. Please help!

About a year or two ago my quest account was deleted because I was under the age of thirteen by a couple weeks. On that account I had hundreds of dollars worth of games, which were all lost when my account was deleted. At the time I somehow didn’t think to seek an appeal of some kind, but I have now! I’m not sure if I could get my account back but I would certainly love to! I do have an idea of the account username and the Facebook used to make it if that helps!

My Son's account was disabled.  We'd been having trouble logging him into GorillaTag and today we got a popup his headset that said to login to auth.meta.com to fix this issue.  All we saw the disabled message.  I have no idea why this happened and don't believe my son violated the terms.  How can I remedy this?  I'd like to have my son's account re-enabled.😡

One day my metaquest was stuck in the startup cycle and I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked so I had to factory reset it, after factory resetting it it dident remove the device from my metaquest app and I cant remove the device from the app either, also when I press add new device it does nothing so im stuck here not being able to play anything.

Devices having issues (meta quest 2) (Samsung galaxy s23 ultra)  I did a factory reset as was recommended to fix the problem of being stuck at 90% when trying to stream to phone. I did a factory reset for being stuck at the pairing screen so I went back to boot menu did another reset then did a side loader update and issue was not fixed. On my meta app my headset is still registered so I can't input the code to pair the headset again. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled several times and as well cleared the cache and data in the app. I have restarted my phone and my blue tooth.When I try and pair a new device I get stuck at "allow permissions" but I have given this  app every single permission. I go to manage profiles and am given error 1675012. Now, I try and go another way by accessing my account on the website and it says no device is found or registered with this account for some unknown reason but it's still connected through my meta app. I have a

I went to play on my meta quest 2 and was stuck on the loading icon I tried factory reseting but wouldn’t work and showed the no command and I followed tips and tricks but wouldn’t still get stuck on the loading icon if anyone can help pls let me know

I try to use the Quest on my 1h commute by train to get some productive work done in this time.Usually I would use the built in browser to check mails, and messages, but I also got some light software development work done (see https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YicdLwSw2s4)I tried the surface keyboard and it is nice, but I still connect an external keyboard for working most of the time.What would help me to get more productivity out of this setup would be keyboard shortcuts to manage windows (by which I mean floating 2d applications)More specifically, it would help to be able to:- close the current application- move the current application left or right in the 3 panel layout- switch the current application into "fullscreen" modeusing keyboard shortcutsEven more helpful:Have shortcuts to open apps or cycle through browser windows that are minimized.

Recently, my client company provided me with a computer for home use. I wanted to use my personal MetaQuest 3 for remote desktop work, so I contacted the company to request permission to install Mixed Reality Link on the computer. However, they refused, citing a potential violation of their commercial use policy. Is using remote desktop for work truly a violation of their commercial use policy? If so, could you please tell me where that policy is stated? Sorry if it's difficult to read due to translation. Thank you.
