After the events of a couple of months ago when meta announced that they were going to pull back on horizon world and then deciding not to, I thought we might be ok. Yesterday day I heard just the opposite again and that quest headsets will no longer be able to access worlds. Can someone please explain what is going on and if this is true or not as I have a world in horizon I always go to on my headset
I'm m trying to log into my new meta quest with my account using the code my headset tells me but after I do it ask me for the email linked to my account In which the website says that my email is not linked to my account This is what it says exactly It looks like there isn’t an account associated with l*************s@gmail.com.
Apa yang harus saya lakukan ?
Hi there!I could not get the support to work, as it refused my Oculus Rift serial number when I entered it...When I had installed the Meta Quest Link app on my previous computer, it did work properly, and I could enjoy the game thing inside the camping car, it was so much fun and brought me so many stars in my eyes!!But on my new computer, first I got the message "your computer doesn't meet the requirements blablabla" and of course when I click "read more" I only get a generic page that is not useful in the slightest. Then, whenever I try to launch "First Contact", a message shows up very briefly (less than one second) and then I return to the game list. The message says: "Your device setup is still in progress. Please take off your headset and continue with setup on the Meta Quest Link app on your computer".Except there is not a single message in said app that invites me to do anything more. I rebooted my computer several times: same result. However, I could launch Steam VR, Steam g
My laptop is not the newest but never had any problems with gaming or work. It handles games like Cyberpunk 2077 and rendering programs without putting the CPU above 90°C (194°F). I haven't used my Quest 2 in around a year but I used to play a lot of PCVR games like Half-Life Alyx using the cable without any problems. Right now it's different. Having only a youtube video on Firefox my CPU is 60°C (140°F). Just turning on the Meta Horizons Link on my laptop (without my Quest connected) makes my CPU raise to 95°C (203.00°F) in about 3 minutes. I spend over 3 hours looking for the reason why my laptop gets so hot and this seems to be the only reason. Turning off the Meta Horizon Link app completely makes my laptop go back to 60°C in around a minute. On top of that, any PCVR game I turn on gets a black screen on my Quest after a few minutes, but the buttons are responsive and the game still runs normally on the laptop. I have installed Meta Horizon Link a week ago on a factory reset laptop
Overall I like the new Navigator interface, but I've noticed an annoying bug. Every time I exit AirLink, the top part of the Navigator UI (battery, clock, and WiFi) is missing (see attached image), and the only way I've found to get it back is to restart the headset. This means that it's almost always missing for me, because testing my in-development app via AirLink is the main use of my Quest 3 these days. The missing clock is particularly annoying, because it doesn't show anywhere else (while battery level and WiFi status can still be seen on the Quick Controls menu). I'm on v2.3.1034, in the PTC.
We cannot get it to do anything. We have tried the hard reset and tried charging leaving it plugged in for a few hours. We also let the battery drain and then recharged. It just won’t do anything.
I’ve been experiencing a really frustrating pairing and connection issue with my Meta Quest recently, and I’m hoping someone here might recognize what’s happening or know a fix. The headset was previously working normally, but after attempting to reconnect it through the Meta Quest mobile app, the pairing process started behaving strangely. The headset appears in the app for a few seconds and initially looks like it’s connecting correctly, but then the process either freezes, endlessly loads, fails during syncing, or disconnects entirely before setup finishes. Sometimes the app says it’s connecting while the headset itself shows no progress, and other times the headset briefly pairs before disappearing again from the device list.I’ve already tried:Restarting both the headset and phone multiple timesTurning Bluetooth off and back onReconnecting to Wi-FiForgetting and re-pairing the deviceReinstalling the Meta Quest appChecking for software updatesLogging out and back into my Meta account
Hello Meta Community Support. My Meta Quest account is completely locked because it was linked to an Instagram account that has been permanently disabled and deleted. I contacted Meta Store Live Support and was given Case Number 09446789. The chat agents and their supervisor refused to unlink my hardware, stating I must contact Instagram support to temporarily reactivate a deleted account—which is structurally impossible. I am a paying hardware customer locked out of my entire digital game library. Can an official Forum Moderator please escalate Case 09446789 to the internal Account Ops/Engineering team to manually sever this dead link or migrate my game library to a clean, unlinked Horizon ID? Thank you. @MetaQuestSupport
For gods sake, allow me to close this stupid application without having to manually disable the services in the windows config. Do you not want less technically skilled people to even be able to use the application or what? I can figure it out and have had to write a powershell script that sets the services each time i want to use meta horizon link. Why do you even make it non functional? Is this so you can gather as much data as possible? its 100% purposeful. Sketchy as **bleep** and you shouldn't get away with it over and over. Worked on software my whole live and I've never seen an application that's so inaccessible or forces services to reset to automatically start, overwriting windows configuration when you boot. Here's a hot tip for the dev team, if the user right clicks/exits the app from the windows icon view, close the service and app like... you know.. every other program in existence.
I tried to use my Oculus Quest 2 for the first time in quite a while and it wanted me to set up a Meta account and associate it with the device. I did and then it told me my account was deleted and that I should do a system restore.Does that mean my purchases are gone? Can I transfer them to a new account?
Hi, thank you for reading my post.As the title states, my account is about to be converted to an adult, but I cannot log in as there is no email linked to my account as I know of, my parent does not recall creating my account with an email and only entering in a username. I'm using a throwaway account just to get to the forums and support team (well, I tried to)Does anybody know any way to assign an email and password to my account so I can log in? I am trying to get in contact with support but the support page says 'The Meta Support Team cannot help you with problems with your account, but you can visit the FAQs' and they did not help at all.I am trying all the methods of trying to get in contact with the support team to help me.Please, help me, my account will be deleted on the 14th of June if I do not get my account converted.Meta, if you are reading this post, the system needs serious upgrades. Why can't it just give the instructions in the Meta Horizon app instead of sending me em
Hello,I have a Quest 3S that I enjoy using via cable to view my Windows Desktop. It appears (?) the only way to do this is via Horizon Link, and Horizon Link does not support hand controls, only the controllers. Further, it does not (?) allow passthrough, so I can't see my mouse and keyboard. I therefore need to do the following undesirable steps to access the desktop, after opening Horizon Link:With headset on, use controllers to open windows desktopTake off headset to pick up my mouse and keyboard and put away the controllersPut headset back onIs there a way to skip these steps with a USB cable connection? E.g. to just sit down with mouse and keyboard, put on the Quest 3S, and take control of the desktop? I'd be happy to try other free apps that use a cable connection if there's something other than Horizon Link.Thank you!
I’ve been using my Meta Quest 3 with my PC for a while now without any issues. I was able to copy files back and forth between the headset and the PC just fine. But recently, it suddenly stopped connecting. When I plug in the USB cable, I still get the notification bubble on the headset asking me to allow access. I press it as usual, but nothing shows up on the PC — no drive, no device, nothing. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:factory reset both the headset and the PCTried multiple USB cables (including the one that used to work)Verified that my phone and other devices connect to the PC without any issuesStill, the Quest 3 won’t show up on the computer. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas on what might be causing it or how to fix it?Thanks in advance!
We have tried double tapping the right arm, shut down while wearing and while not wearing. Can’t get to setting bc stuck on passthrough welcome.
At least give us the option for the old homepage and menu system? This new quick app **bleep**e is completely horrendous. It puts all the apps all jumbled around from games to social media in no ORDER. It's silly. Get it gone, who the F approved it? Fire the team!
Hello,I have the following problem with a Meta Quest 3 headset : it simply won't turn on or respond to anything. The screen is black (turned off, no light), and no charging indicator light up on it no matter what I do. It also hasn't emitted a single sound. When the charging cable is plugged on the side (with the original charger), no light turns on, and only a very very faint electronic sizzling sound can be heard from the USB-C port. When I connect the charged Elite strap with battery to the headset, the charging light of the extended battery briefly turns orange for a second, then turns off. And the same small sizzling sound can be heard from the USB-C port on the side. What I have tried :- Charging for 2h the headset through the battery extension and trying again. No response.- Charging overnight the headset directly and trying again (despite there being no light indicator on at all). No response.- Pressing the Power button for 30 s. No response.- Pressing both Power button and Volume
I purchased this game to specifically play cop.I cannot figure out how to go about it!I see where it says co op, but have no idea on accessing it?

I have been playing drop dead dual strike for months with friends. Now I can’t send an invite to them. I also have another headset that has the same issue. I thought it was the game but I tried to invite from another game and still the same issue. It says I will be able to invite once my location is on. But my location is on the game and headset is update. Does anyone know the issue or how I can fix. Thanks
Hi guys, I bought my first Quest 3 today. When I turned it on, it started a software update but it gets stuck there — the device keeps turning on and off without completing the update, and I can’t get past that screen. I haven’t even set up my Meta Horizon account yet, and since I didn’t purchase my Quest 3 through the official Meta store, when I try to enter my device’s serial number on the website it gives me an error.I tried doing the sideload update (the only fix I found on the internet) by holding the volume down and power buttons on the Quest 3. But when I select my device in the browser, I get a message saying: “your device is not supported, please try reconnecting your devices.” Weird cause both my PC and Chrome are detecting it as Quest 3. I also tried disabling adblock, deleting caché and cookies, incognito mode, other browsers, other PCs, other cables, connecting it on different times, etc. There is not a single thing I haven't tried. (Every single one of these attempts
Hello everyone, I am writing here out of desperation. Recently I bought a Metaquest 3S and wanted to create an account there through their app (Meta Horizon) to log in on the device as the Quick Start advised and also continue adding a Metaquest account to my already existing Meta portfolio of Facebook and Instagram. While the app showed as if it was doing just that, after several minutes of "Creating the account" it suddenly got blocked and I had to restart the app. While trying again to do the same thing randomly I received an email and also I think of the screen a message saying "Action needed on your Meta account" with "Your Meta account has been suspended. We did this because your account, or activity on it, doesn't follow our Terms of Service.". I tried going to their auth.meta.com link and they started requesting me a selfie. For the past 10 days I kept trying to upload a selfie with my face (good lighting, bad lighting, with/without glasses) and always I get an error w
I'm the president of an association. We just acquired a MetaQuest 3 for a project that will ideally involve six headsets. If I understand correctly, I would have needed "Meta for Work," which is no longer available. What can I do? The goal is to manage the headsets via a centralized platform (if possible) and also to allow the users to play together. What would you recommend?
I'm new to VR and have a Quest 3 Pro. I have a current subscription and was enjoying Townsmen VR. I disappeared from my library. It was in a different part of the fiie system. It doesn't say it's installed even in the store, it only says I can purchase it. I don't think I have cloud backup on. How can I get it back.
I had bought the Meta Quest s3 back in December for Christmas. Within a month, my right controller had a bad stick shift that made anything unplayable. Mind you that, there wasn't any games that I had that I had to used the thumbstick for so for a component that I barely used break was awful. I had to send the controller for a replacement. It took a month for them to send back a controller with about 3-4 times contacting customer service to ask about my replacement with no answer. The only answer they gave me was "We will look into this matter" all the times I've contacted them to get any updates. This experience itself was appalling. Now my left controller isn't pairing to my headset. It is stuck on "Updating firmware" only for it to fail. When a prompt comes up to pair the controller, nothing happens when I hold Y and =, no vibrations, just the controller blinking. My right controller is connected just fine. I've tried hard booting, I've tried unpairing and pairing it through my
