I too am having issues with meta linking with my google calendar. I've tried several times based on the suggestions and instructions given to me by Meta. One thing I noticed that in my iPhone settings under calendar the option to allow meta access isn't there but to access my email and other services it allows me to grant access or not. Thinking it was a a Google Calendar issue, I go into my Google Calendar account and everything seems fine and meta is there. Meta keeps telling me it's a google issue. Any other suggestions would be helpful, but think I've tried everything available.
Since the last update, my Meta 3 headset has been on a constant disconnect/reconnect loop while running Mixed Reality Link.I run my virtual desktop via wifi through the Virtual Display app in passthrough mode. Every few minutes I get a beep, and the desktop window display (not the virtual window, but the actual windows ON my desktop) slightly readjusts, a second beep, and the layout returns to its correct layout. This constant interruption only happens when using the headset to run a virtual desktop. Doesn't happen on a physical monitor, and the frequency decreases almost completely when running it in VR mode (Loft).I've cleanly installed my pc driver, the mixed reality app, and an assortment of various device manager and monitor settings to no avail.Looking to see if anyone else has run into this. Can provide more detailed troubleshooting I've gone through in the last few days if needed.
after i install the meta horizon link software on my computer i get a cant connect to link service error.
Ive been having this issue for two days now and still dont know what to do (started yesterday). Everytime I try to join multiplayer games such as Yeeps hide and seek, or Among us they infinitely load. On lethal ape, a “client timeout” occurs whenever i try to join a multiplayer lobby. However, when I play multiplayer games such as Roblox or Orion Drift, they connect with no problems. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting from the internet, pairing to meta horizion again, and factory reseting my quest 3, and nothing worked. Please help. How can i join these games without infinite load or “client timeout”.
It was working fine and then stopped. It tried to do a firmware update and it will make it to 66% and then reset, does this 3 times and then fails. Tried all of the “fixes” I.e. unpair, factory reset, batteries, but it will not work. Any other solutions??
Hello i have a quest 3 and i have an issue where my left controller analog stick is going forwards in the headset but the stick is completely steady i don't have stick drift it just suddenly happened when i updated my headset i want to fix it.
Another post, another disappointed customer. I have two left controllers stuck on SOS loop, tried meta support they all suggest unpair and repair.Take the battery out for 24-48 hours, unpair on the horizon app. Hard reboot the headset, load headset in boot mode. Use a brand new alkaline battery into controller and pair via the horizon app and leave for 20 minutes to try and resolve firmware issue.I did all of that with no change, and just told out of warranty you will have to buy a new one. Or they may offer you a “out of warranty replacement for £49.99”. If this was stick drift or physical damage I would understand. But it is not. It is corrupted firmware from Meta. Much like when they bricked people’s headsets with a software update. Customers should not have to pay to replace something that Meta has broken.
I purchased a Meta Quest headset from Bestbuy, but when I set it up, the device shows that it is owned by an organization or school. Because of this restriction, I am unable to log in with my personal Meta account email and cannot use the headset as intended.Since I bought this headset for personal use, I would like assistance in removing the organizational lock or confirming whether the device can be released from enterprise management. If it cannot be unlocked, I need official confirmation so I can pursue a refund or replacement with Bestbuy.
Hello,I'm experiencing an intermittent network issue with my Quest 3.The headset worked perfectly when I first bought it. About 10 days ago, I started having problems joining multiplayer games. The issue affects both Walkabout Mini Golf and Demeo. The games launch normally, but when I try to join a multiplayer session, I often get the message:"Network error. Please check your connection and try again."What's strange is that my Quest remains connected to Wi-Fi, and everything else works normally:Internet browser works.Netflix works.Meta Store works.Meta Horizon messages and friends list load normally.Thinking it was my router, I replaced my Orange Livebox 5 with a new Livebox 6 (Wi-Fi 6), but the problem remained exactly the same.I also performed a factory reset. The problem disappeared for a while, but came back a few days later. The issue is intermittent: sometimes I can join multiplayer games without any problem, and other times I can't join at all.My Quest 3 is running Meta Hori
Here's an odd one. My quest 3 will not connect at all on the charging dock since 2.07. I thought it was just an alignment issue but I've been charging it this way since day one and never had a problem until the latest update. Thankfully I can still charge it through the USB port. The controllers go to sleep too when least expected but a momentary placement in the charging cradle reengages them. Don't need this!
Yesterday my Quest Pro controllers received a software update and after that update, the left controller keeps connecting and disconnecting over and over every five or so seconds. It's basically unusable.
I've had my Oculus Rift cv1 for almost a decade now and it's worked great up until recently. I can put it on, load into a game and play for about 15 to 20 minutes before everything freezes. My computer then pops up a message saying the HDMI lost connection while all my peripheral devices lose power then power back on. I've updated drivers, turned off power management on my USB ports, I even got a new cv1 cable to see if that was the issue but no dice. Has anyone else had this problem? It's frustrating seeing the headset work for a little while before it keeps repeatedly losing HDMI connection.
Since yesterday my left controller doesn't word. I've tried every trouble shooting described, always the same issue. I did:replace the batteryFactory reset of the meta questUn-pair et restart pairing via the app or directly via the meta questHard reset don't work on the controller (x + menu 5 times)Don't know what to do now
Hi everyone, I bought a Quest 2 secondhand, but it’s stuck on the pairing code screen. I’ve tried factory resetting multiple times, and even though it connects to the Meta app, it won’t go past the code entry. The app says another user is still connected and needs to disconnect first. The seller told me they did a factory reset on their side and that their account is no longer linked, but my headset is still locked. Here are the details: Device: Oculus / Meta Quest 2 I just need to know what steps are left to get it usable on my own Meta account, or if support can help clear the old account from this device. Thanks in advance!
I was gifted a Quest 2 and did a factory reset once I was ready to start my setup. And I open my meta app and start adding the device. It gets to the end of finding it and pairing, telling me to put on the headset set, but then I get the error that the 1675012 device ID must be specified explicitly. I have reset so far 3 times and get the same result. I can see the headset in my profile, but I cannot access it to move forward.
When I start the Link connection inside the headset, I get stuck in an infinite loading screen. My controllers are not reacting, so I can´t do anything. When I plug out my cable, I turn back into Quest 3 Home and I see the loading screen at same time. Nothings reacting, so the only way to get out is to shutdown the headset completely. The interesting thing is: While my headset shows this loading screen - on PC is already everything fine. By using Oculus Mirror I can already see the Link Environment on PC. I also can start my games by using the library on PC.After updating my Nvidia Drivers and also Windows, (Quest is on latest version) and endless restarts of everything - the problem is still there. My HOTFIX for now:While I stuck in this loading screen, I put the headset in Stand-by by tapping the Power button. Wait two seconds. Then wake the headset up with another tap. And then: I go straight into the usual Link Dash environment and everything is working like it should.I need to do th
I can’t sign in after doing a factory reset it tells me on the meta app can’t pair how do I fix this
Hello, I hope someone can help me because I am completely stuck. After performing a factory reset on my Meta Quest 2, I can no longer complete the initial setup. The headset connects to Wi-Fi without any issues. It then displays the 5-digit pairing code and asks me to continue the setup using the Meta Horizon app. The Meta Horizon app detects the headset, but the setup never finishes. The headset remains permanently on the pairing screen. When I try to use the Cast feature, the app only says "Searching for headset..." forever and never connects. I have already tried: Factory reset multiple times. Two different Android phones.Reinstalling the Meta Horizon app several times.Clearing the app cache and data.Enabling all required permissions (Bluetooth, Nearby Devices and Location).Making sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.Restarting both the headset and the phone many times. The headset was purchased new from Amazon about two ye
I got a controller update two days ago, since then, the controllers do not wake up from sleep when they are laid aside for some moments. This was a problem in earlier days with the quest controllers which vanished completely a year or two ago. I am really annoyed that this bug has been brought back by an obligatory update. And it seems, that I am not the only user noticing this.I tried undpairing and pairing the controllers to no avail. There doesn't seem to be any solution at hand and this really kills the joy of using my Quest 3 headset.Could you please check if older code has found its way in the once fixed firmware again as it sure seems so (or maybe it could be a related bug).Thank you and happy questing.
I factory reset my Meta quest three and now it does not show a personal code. It shows an organizational code and no way to move on. So how can I get the personal code when I can’t get into the Meta quest headset?.
It’s all in the title
Hi guys, long time Meta Quest user here. This is more of a complaint about the recent QA at Meta for the Meta Horizon Link app on pc, than an actual call for help - however: if you got any recommendations on how to pair my Quest 3 device without uninstalling everything (including all folders and cleaning registry), i appreciate it.I guess every long time Meta user knows, that Meta's horizon pc software lacks usability/stability from time to time. I got myself an enthusiast dedicated wifi6e router setup (pc wired connected oc), a NASA PC that is ALWAYS perfectly up to date (drivers, windows 11 updates, etc). In general i would make the claim, that i find solutions for every minor hickup connected with wireless pcvr on a MEta Quest HMD (Q2, Q3 day one...).Virtual Desktop is my daily driver for wireless streaming, because auf its usability, AV1 codec, and its stability (you know: all the things air link is lacking...) However, for some usecases i use Steam Link for some others i use air li
Hi! I need assistance regarding a Meta Quest 3 headset that appears to be hardware-banned from Meta servers. I recently purchased this device second-hand. After performing a factory reset and attempting to set it up with my personal Meta account, I encountered an authentication error. Checking the device logs via ADB revealed the exact error: Error 400 — Subcode 2699019: "Device Banned From Authentication: This device has been banned from Meta servers and authentication." The automated Meta Store Support website rejects my serial number, stating that support is unavailable for this device, which prevents me from creating a regular support ticket. I am the new, legitimate owner of this headset and had no involvement in whatever caused the ban under the previous owner. I can provide the serial number, photos of the device, proof of my purchase, and full ADB logs. Could a community manager please help me escalate this to the appropriate internal team or manually open a support case for in
Pls help the controllers not working
my Quest Pro controllers just will not track reliably, theyll be backwards and upside down more often than not, and trying to turn them off and back on again doesnt even work because they either go right back to just being as useless as before, or they just wont turn back on again. At this point my Quest Pro may as well be a paper weight it useless
