Solved

Was on the headset yesterday and it randomly just got stuck on the see though mode. Turned it off left it for today and it still doesn’t work.  It’s stuck on the same issue stuck on see through mode. I can only see my room and can only put up/down the volume and turn it on and off. Can’t use the controllers, made sure it has battery it says it’s connected on the app.I’m in a well lit room.Cleaned the headset even though it’s literally brand new.Tried hard booting it of course. Still nothing. Would rather not have to factory reset or send it back /: Any help is appreciated, thanks(Also tried getting ahold of someone human on customer support but they couldn’t find my headsets sn. Which doesn’t make sense since I bought it on amazon by meta)

So i discovered a strange bug with the pose gizmos. If an avatar is seated in a pose gizmo, even with exit not allowed on the pose gizmo, it will auto exit u of u happen to collide with another gizmo (i.e by setting positions or attached to physics). Not sure if anyone has ever encountered this issue before. I dont want avatar to exit by any means at all

It might just be a bug with mine, but I have found that if I forget to charge my 3S after it's low, it tends to randomly play the 'battery low' tune but slowed down when it dies in the middle of the night and it scares the living heck out of me. Tried asking meta's AI support bot but got nothing helpful. Please tell me if anyone else's headset does this, cuz it's FRIGGIN ANNOYING.

Happy  New Year everyone. I wanted to know is anyone else having issues with signing up for January bonuses? Also I keep getting error message when trying to view sales. Can someone assist with any info and solutions?  Much appreciated

anyone else not seen their hours for the end of December and beginning of January

Hi, I bought a Meta 3S from Walmart last week and got it yesterday and got the three month trial for free but no Batman . I hear with new purchases you get Batman for free and I have a receipt that I bought from it Walmart Canada . I bought it online from them and it’s brand new.

Imagine special shoes with electronic switches built into the sole, under the insole. When I’m standing, both switches are pressed and they send a signal to the headset that I’m standing still. When I lift my right foot, it’s a signal that I’ve stepped forward, and then I alternate my feet to control walking speed or running. When I lift my left foot, it’s a signal that I’ve taken a step backward, and then I alternate my feet again to indicate backward movement. While walking in place, I can physically turn my body, which naturally rotates the headset, so turning is already solved. The only exception would be turning in place without walking — in that case, I’d need to hold a button on the hand controller so that it doesn’t trigger movement in VR. The same button could also be used to recalibrate my position if I end up outside the safe zone.Another advantage of this system would be the natural swaying of the body, making walking in VR look very realistic.Another advantage is that the s

the left-side hinge on my Quest 3 seems to have somehow detached from the main headset. I have no idea how or why. I've taken really good care of my Q3 for the last 10 months, but now I guess I've had my very first issue. From the research I've done, it seems to be a very common problem with the quest 3 design: The plastic O-ring inside the hinge break apart, so it needs to be cleared and put back together somehow? The headset still functions, but now I'm afraid to wear it because I don't want to accidently break the charger, or rip the really tiny speaker wire in the left ear... Miraculously, it'll still charge, but it won't charge with the loose hinge because the charging port is strategically located RIGHT on the hinge! xD I'll attach a photo for clarity.   Any tips on how I can fix this would be appreciated, even it it's temporary, I need to use it for work. Thanks!

It seems like Noesis MouseUp event will pass the same mouse position as the MouseDown event. And worse is that MouseMove is disabled during MouseDown. This makes it impossible to track if mouse down and up events occurred at different locations. Is there a setting or config to overcome this with Noesis? Also i dont wanna use focusedInteraction

I'm wondering if anyone had any success adding a link to a Meta Horizon world, e.g. when you click on this object, the browser opens on that link or similar

Almost every time, the autocapture feature on my Meta vanguard glasses automatically stops working after I start running or cycling for about 2 to 3 kilometer(some times at 5 or 6km). The Meta glasses fail to read data from my Garmin watch, such as heart rate or speed. On the watch, the Meta AI icon changes into a blue IQ icon, similar to the one in the Garmin Connect app, with yellow ellipsis dots next to it. At that point, the autocapture function no longer works, and when I ask the Meta glasses by voice, they respond that they’re unable to read the relevant information. My watch is a Garmin Forerunner 965 system version 26.08, my phone runs on Android, and my Meta Vanguard glasses are on version 17.

Hi I have the meta quest 3 s I made my account and we have the horizon + I made a character for my son but when he goes to horizons + it asks for a subscription but it says you can add 1 kid account and use the same subscription ca someday please help been hours with this thing trying to get it to work any information would be appreciated

Hello!I've been using Meta AI extensively and appreciate its capabilities, particularly the video generation feature, which I find to be one of the best in the market. However, I've noticed that the model's conversation style has changed since the introduction of live URL linking (LLaMA 4). While I understand the value of providing access to external information, it disrupts the flow of our conversations, since the model cannot focus on contextual understanding. It would be helpful to have a toggle or option to control when the model searches the web, allowing it to focus on providing condensed knowledge and original answers.I've been working around this by asking "do not prompt searches" at each turn, but this isn't always effective. I believe a simple toggle or button to switch between "closed circuit conversation" and "open circuit conversation" modes would greatly improve the user experience and set Meta AI more up to speed with the competition landscape, since Gemini and ChatGPT do

I accidentally made my age too young and i cant change it. Im not making a new account because i spent money on this one

I own a Meta Quest 2I am having horizon link issues and a possible fix I read about was doing a factory reset and reconnecting my device. After performing the factory reset, the headset can no longer be paired to my account. Now finding this forum i see a lot of people are having connectivity issues but i put myself further away. Meta systems show:- No devices associated with my Meta account- Serial number starting with 1WMM returns “device not found”- Meta Quest mobile app throws GraphQLError 1675012(OCDeviceProfilesManagerSurfaceQuery – Device ID must be specified)The Meta support website blocks ticket creation because there is no device record. This appears to be a backend device desynchronization / orphaned device issue. I am the first and only owner of this device.Requesting Meta staff escalation for manual backend device reassociation or resolution.

Dear Support,I know several people report the same problem: I am trying to connect to my PC using Meta Quest Link. Remote desktop does work properly, but when I try to enable Link, I get nothing but the black screen with Meta logo and three dots. I have tried connecting using both AirLink and via cable, same result. PC connected by ethernet cable. I have checked the PC requirements and I think I meet them all, but perhaps laptops don't work as well with Link? What I have:1. Meta Quest 3 headset (all updated)2. Meta Quest Link app installed and updated3. PC drivers all updated.4. Hardware: (it's a gaming laptop)AMD Ryzen 7 5800 CPUNvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU32GB DDR4 RamWindows 11USB 3.1 ports, new USB-3 cables, etc. I appreciate any help you can give.Kind regards,Jeremy

I really need help with my PC I don't know if I supposed to have a gaming computer or a gaming laptop but I'm using a regular laptop to connect my Oculus and won't connect I'm using a USB type c to connect to my PC but it won't connect

I've been using the Quest 3 for almost 8 months now, and before i used the Quest 2 without any problems via Air link/same router/same PC... This Saturday I'm playing Borderland 2 VR and on Monday the Quest 3 can no longer connect to the PC without any reason. If I want to activate Air Link via the Q3, my PC is displayed in the Air Link Menü as before, but the Start Button for Air Link remains gray and it says "not connected". I've already tried everything:Hard reseting the Headset, factory reset, router reset, PC & Quest 3 reset, Meta Quest Link restart via the beta menu in the PC Oculus APP, repair function of the Meta Quest APP, firewall completely switched off but nothing... Then I read that you should completely delete the Oculus software with all folders and reinstall it.I did that and lo and behold it worked, for exactly ONE day.... When I booted up my PC today and started Quest 3, the same problem...The PC is displayed but the start button to start Air Link remains gray and

I'm a quest3 user. And this is a very serious problemfor me and others who use +86 phone number. My meta account can't log in, because when I try to get the SMS verification code, it will always be :You've requested too many codes. Please try again later. So I signed up for this new account to give feedback. My original account can't log in now.

Someone created a Meta Horizons account under my name and is connected to my Accounts Center. I can't remove it because I don't have access to the email address they used.

I have been locked out from my Quest 2 for more that a week. I created a pattern when I was tired so I forgot it when I went to bed and woke up and forgot every day after school I have been trying to reset it I try to connect my phone to the headset and click unlock pattern but still I need to put my pattern in to connect it and as said before I forgot it and can connect and reset it. Is there another solution that I could use and response is very helpful at this point.  Also I looked up oculus support and other videos one youtube which is most likely the worst place to go. This and contacting someone is all I have left at this point.

Hello dear Meta Quest staff,As the title says, I would love to see you adding an Arabic language layout to the Quest virtual keyboard.I just bought a Quest 3 and to my surprise I couldn't find Arabic layout among the other language settings which left me crippled from using the headset to search Google and Youtube among other services and forms. So, please, if you could natively support this, many of us Arabic Quest users will be very appreciative, and we'll be able to use the headsets to their full potential.Much love and all the best!Respectfully,Morad.

Hello, i bought this 3S and today I charged it up, turned it on, Hooked it to my wifi/internet And then it 'updated' and now it says to pair to meta horizon app, even gives a 5 digit code. I hooked it to my PC and tried to 'pair' it and nothing, it shows up on my link under devices but nothing, doesn't even ask for the code or anything. I tried to brig up menu with the meta button on my right controller, it shoes it loading then nothing, no menu or anything. I tried a reset, hard reset and even a factory reset, nothing still the same thing, is there something I am missing? and why is it impossible to get a live agent to help, that one has me thinking META should be sued and boycotted.
