Solved

Both my partner and I have Quest Pros. We AirLink them to our PCs and play VRChat that way. However, we've both noticed that if we stop moving our hands for only about 10 to 15 seconds the controllers seem to go into a sleep mode which causes our characters in VR's arms to drop straight down to their sides. We can wake the controllers back up by wiggling them a bit but it's quite annoying and jarring to have your arms constantly fall to your sides. It's especially annoying when you're using one controller to scroll through a menu and the other goes to sleep causing the game to enter into one controller mode and then the controller you were using to scroll a menu now moves your character so the menu closes and your character starts moving in some direction. I have looked all over but do not see a way to adjust how frequently the controllers go to sleep when not being moved. I've also tried factory resetting both the headset and the controllers.

I am tryna use Meta Horizon Link and so far it is not working, I do not know if my graphics card is supported. If anyone knows if that works or not, please respond

Is it possible to get help from Meta? I have tried to find some way to get help from Meta all day, but I can not find any information. My kids account have been suspended due to his age, but it wont accept my confirmation. Some how Meta have the wrong date of birth registered and I need help from them. Please can anyone share how to get som help from somebody real?

I have a quest 2. I hadn’t used in a couple of months. I went to play a game and it’s stuck in a never evens black screen. Left it overnight. Still nothing. did a reset. Now my app can’t find it. My device is listed but it won’t connect. Try to get support, apparently my serial number isn’t recognised. did a side load update, still nothing reset the app. Still nothing did another hard reset and sideload update still it will not let me past the screen on the headset that says ‘continue in the app’ cos the app will not connect to the device. The device seems to have disappeared off my account online. But it’s still there in the app. HELPPPPPPP.

I don't know if anyone can help, but I am completely stuck and unable to break out of a loop of poor customer service. I ordered and received a Quest 3 on Friday last week, direct from the Meta UK store. This was the basic package with normal strap, so no extra batteries or anything. In the UK there is a 30 day return window even if opened to try it. On the same day I received it I decided it wasn't for me. I opened a return request via Meta returns and was sent DHL labels. DHL collected the package this Monday, but I received the item back on Tuesday. The explanation was that it needed a UN3481 hazard label due to the lithium batteries.I contacted Meta customer service and DHL customer service to confirm what is needed but I have received conflicting advice and am completely stuck. Meta have said they will not send a hazard label as it is definitely not needed. This is despite their own RMA instructions saying I should 'attach the hazard label'. DHL will not accept it without thi

I recently submitted an RMA for my headset (Quest 3S), and as I'm seeing in the forums that I'm not the only one, I also sent in my controllers. The replacement headset was shipped back to me in a timely manner except it is a refurbished model. My headset was barely two months out of the box and still under warranty. Is it common practice to replace a new, under warranty device with a used one?Secondly, I'm still sitting here waiting to hear any information other than "we're investigating it" regarding the controllers that I sent back due to Meta's vague wording when it comes to what devices to return on an RMA. Chat support is useless at this point as all I get is word salad and and endless loop of agents all repeating the same thing.

As the title states my niece and nephew being the smart kids they are have found a way past device downtime. They know their devices shut off at a specific time every night and they have limited play time through the day. So they roll their headset clocks back. Make it AM instead of PM. Etc. their account is managed and supervised and all provisions are set for their age range as well. I created a test child account on my own meta quest to verify what type of settings access is available and lo and behold they have access to 70% of general device settings. If it doesn't fall under interactions or purchases it's fair game. This is a major security flaw in the family management system and should be able to be changed. Certain apps can be blocked with a pin. But not settings. Here are my thoughts/ideas for remedying this situation;A parent should have to set a pin up to add a child account to the meta quest.Or a child should only have access to the basic quick launch settings onl

Ive been trying to download this game i got but every time i press on the download button it gets to 0% and then cancels the download. I’ve tried restarting the headset which didn’t do anything so i resorted to a factory reset but after that nothing is downloading still. so now im left with no games to play on the headset because of this problem

Firstly headset finds pc with meta horizon link open. But when i try to connect my headset to pc by air/usb link it loads inifinitly. Just infinite loading.Meta horizon link app looks as usually, no warnings, errors or something similarTried to relaunch link app on my pc, did not helped.People do you have this issue? 23.02.26

Am I missing any terms that I need to sign in order to join the partner discord? I received a message several days later after clicking join the server saying “ Your application to join Meta Horizon Creator Program has been denied.Reason: We can't verify your Partner status or you haven't signed all of the program terms. Please check theses and reapply to the Discord.”

I am using the software update tool to update to the latest version of PTC manually, but the software that it provides does not appear any way in the official release notes. When I use the tool it offers up "2.8.0" as a software ready to download and install. When I go through the process and it shows that it has been successfully installed, the device does not show anything has been updated and the last software update's install date and version remains the same as it was before using the tool.Any insight would be helpful. Have others experienced these same issues?

Hello,I am trying to update my apps from Meta Spatial SDK from v0.9.2 to v0.10.0 and when deploying and running it on the Quest 3 headset, the application will crash and exit as soon as VrActivity runs onCreate. I am observing the following error on logcat:Abort message: 'JNI DETECTED ERROR IN APPLICATION: JNI NewGlobalRef called with pending exception java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Didn't find class "com.facebook.soloader.MergedSoMapping$Invoke_JNI_OnLoad" on path: DexPathList[[zip file "/data/app/REDACTED_MY_APP/base.apk"],nativeLibraryDirectories=[/data/app/REDACTED_MY_APP/lib/arm64, /data/app/REDACTED_MY_APP/base.apk!/lib/arm64-v8a, /apex/com.meta.xr/priv-app/VrDriver/VrDriver.apk!/lib/arm64-v8a, /system/lib64, /system_ext/lib64]]The changes I did are minimal (version update on libs.versions.toml and XML component definitions and removing deprecated APIs). I tested also compiling several of the updated examples from the Meta-Spatial-SDK-Samples (such as  MrukSampl

I recently get the Quest 3, and for some reason I can't get the audio to come through my headset when it is connected to my PC using a link cable or AirLink. It shows as a device in the sounds settings and it is enabled in the audio Control Panel Playback section. I never had this problem on my Quest 2.I have updated the drivers, tried disabling the Nvidia High Definition Audio driver. Any help greatly appreciated!Note: This green audio bar next to the Oculus audio device stays at half-full whether the computer is playing or not. Not sure if that helps

So I noticed something weird today. I have a Quest 3 with v79.1027 software. When I switch on Travel Mode, the Horizon Feed app opens up and displays "no internet connection". I checked the wifi settings in my headset, and wifi is actually connected and working. I was able to browse the internet and watch movies on Prime Video. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and what version headset software are you on?

Hi everyone, I'm stuck in a very frustrating situation and need help from a Community Manager.I bught a Meta Quest on Amazon, tested it, and eventually returned it. I made sure to remove the device from my Meta account. However, the Meta Horizon+ subscription remained active and charged me US$7.99. Worse: the system pulled the credit card linked to my Facebook Ads account via the Accounts Center.I'm trying to contact support for a refund, but I'm completely locked out. The support portal demands a serial number or a Meta Store order number to open a ticket. Since I bought it on Amazon and already returned it, I don't have either. If I click "I don't have a device", it just redirects me to generic FAQ pages and won't let me talk to anyone.I know doing a credit card chargeback might automatically ban my Facebook Ads account, which I absolutely want to avoid over an $8 charge. Is there any alternative way to reach a human in billing support without needing a device serial number? Can a Met

I installed a music player (MQG Music Player) on my world a couple of days ago, everything seemed fine in both preview and on my headset. But now I can't hear any of the music, even in preview mode. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, and still nothing. I thought maybe it was the music player UI, but when I bring in a "Meta Sound" that isn't connected to the UI, I still don't hear anything. The sound of the Avatar "jumping" and landing still sounds, so I know noise is coming through...Anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I don't HAVE to have the music, so no big deal if it can't be fixed. It just kinda seemed weird to all of the sudden stop...

I'm facing a persistent failure to install the Oculus PC Software (Meta Horizon Link App) for my Oculus Rift S device, which is essential for the device to function at all. The software got corrupted and was unresponsive no matter the method I tried, a couple of days beforehand. Any repair achieved nothing, therefore I used its official uninstaller as well as Revo Uninstaller Pro to erase every remnant of it from my device. The installer (Setup.exe) however, consistently terminates itself during the very end of its installation process, after it has downloaded all of the necessary cached files.I tried downloading it into a variety of different drivers as well as have performed multiple complete manual removals of each plausible file system and registry artifact of the Oculus Software within my system; C:\Program Files\, C:\ProgramData\, C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\,C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\. C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\, Driver, Soft

I don't really want to make my own controllers, but what I would like to build would be some gloves with a haptic bit in them (and use Hand Tracking instead)...Is there HW/SW documentation for building "peripherals" to the Quest?

Hello,I recently purchased a pair of Oakley Vanguard glasses. After setting them up, I tried using Meta AI by asking, What am I looking at? but I keep receiving the message, Asking what you see is not yet available in your region.I’ve tried a factory reset, unpairing and repairing the glasses, enabling location services, and confirming that both the Meta AI app and the glasses are up to date, but nothing has worked. I live in California.Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hello, I've owned a Meta Quest 3 for a few days now. Since yesterday, I've noticed a "micro stuterring" problem that appears when I use the headset in standalone mode. This is the same problem described by pan.c.kaplanis and Renegade_R in this topic (see page 2 and following) : https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/VR-Experiences/Some-Quest-3-standalone-games-are-lagging-stuttering/td-p/1100483/highlight/true/page/2Nevertheless, I'm making a new topic because the previous one was initially about Beat Saber (but it's been diverted to Home), and because the problem is marked "Solved" whereas it's not solved at all in my case. Problem description:In the Home application and standalone games, at certain moments, for example when I crouch or strafe from right to left, "micro stutters" appear. This is very visible on the Home application interface, but you can see it by looking at the background too. It's as if for a very short moment (1 frame) the position of the headset

We are unable to pair (connect) 3 of our Quest 2 headsets to 3 of our Windows PCs with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 via Quest Link cable, after updating our headsets to the latest software. We have tried un-plugging and plugging the Quest Link cables, restarting our headsets and PCs, and even re-installing the Oculus desktop app. But nothing worked. Please help!

Hello, everyone! I have a question about my Meta Quest 3S. Tonight, I put my headset on charge because I noticed that the battery was low, but I also noticed that after a while, the charging indicator light changed from orange to white and the lenses activated. Not knowing what this meant, I got a little worried about the health of my headset, so please, can anyone give me some answers? Thank you! (:

Hey everyone. First of all, I've read the related pages: https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/orders-and-returns/240408565199886/andhttps://www.meta.com/it/en/legal/quest/digital-content-referrals/I have some questions that aren't answered in either of them:if someone clicks my link and accepts the referral but does not purchase/purchases and then refunds the app, is that slot lost? Or does the use count return to me if one of these things happen?is there a way to see a counter of how many times a specific link has been used?does the 15% discount remain constant for every person who redeems a certain app or does it decrease over usage (eg: 1st 15%, 2nd 10%, 3rd 5%)? do the persons need to stay friends until 14 days have passed since the purchase? In other words, is it safe to unfollow someone if I've redeemed the referral linked to them?Thank you in advance!

Hi there,I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. The other day I decided to revisit some games I had purchased on my Quest 1, only to discover that my account is now unusable. After the account migration, it appears to have completely disappeared, all the games and apps I bought are gone, along with the money I spent on them.I’ve tried to contact support, but I haven’t been able to get any access to it. It feels particularly frustrating given that Meta has stopped supporting Quest 1 users, which makes it difficult not to wonder whether this situation is being overlooked because resolving it could involve significant refunds. When I originally purchased these games, there was nothing in the policy stating that my account could effectively be deleted or that I could permanently lose access to purchases. From my perspective, it feels as though I’ve paid for content that has simply been taken away. This situation is extremely frustrating, and I genuinely don’t understand

Hello everyone,I have an Oculus Quest 1 (first generation) and want to connect it to my PC. The main issue is that I can't seem to find or figure out which specific app is currently needed for this. The official Oculus app no longer seems to support Quest 1, and I'm confused about the alternatives.Could you please advise:What specific application is the working solution for connecting a Quest 1 to a PC nowadays? I've heard about Virtual Desktop, SideQuest, possible older versions of Oculus PC software, but I don't understand what exactly to look for or where to download it safely. Is there a reliable method (step-by-step guide or tutorial) for setting up the connection specifically with this headset? What difficulties or "pitfalls" might I encounter during the process?I would be very grateful for any concrete information or links! Thank you.
