Solved

Hi there,I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. The other day I decided to revisit some games I had purchased on my Quest 1, only to discover that my account is now unusable. After the account migration, it appears to have completely disappeared, all the games and apps I bought are gone, along with the money I spent on them.I’ve tried to contact support, but I haven’t been able to get any access to it. It feels particularly frustrating given that Meta has stopped supporting Quest 1 users, which makes it difficult not to wonder whether this situation is being overlooked because resolving it could involve significant refunds. When I originally purchased these games, there was nothing in the policy stating that my account could effectively be deleted or that I could permanently lose access to purchases. From my perspective, it feels as though I’ve paid for content that has simply been taken away. This situation is extremely frustrating, and I genuinely don’t understand

Hello everyone,I have an Oculus Quest 1 (first generation) and want to connect it to my PC. The main issue is that I can't seem to find or figure out which specific app is currently needed for this. The official Oculus app no longer seems to support Quest 1, and I'm confused about the alternatives.Could you please advise:What specific application is the working solution for connecting a Quest 1 to a PC nowadays? I've heard about Virtual Desktop, SideQuest, possible older versions of Oculus PC software, but I don't understand what exactly to look for or where to download it safely. Is there a reliable method (step-by-step guide or tutorial) for setting up the connection specifically with this headset? What difficulties or "pitfalls" might I encounter during the process?I would be very grateful for any concrete information or links! Thank you.

I have a Unity Mixed Reality project... and added the hands and real hands and that's cool. Tossed in a Zombie so I can try to get him to follow me or I can shoot him (finger gun special).  Now I want to fixup the ray cast from the hands/controllers so I can interact with game objects from afar... but I'm not even sure where that ray is coming from so I can see the script. My "change" would be to have the ray extend 50m... and return a bunch of "hits" with "target class:"GameObject, yellow [put an explosion effect on that zombie -- if it's hitting the mesh]Interactable, a blue disc appears [press trigger to activate object]something from the 3d depth [depth raycast], an orange disc appears [put bullet hole on that]a scene object [floor/wall], a green [grounded] disc appears (note that that may not be the final terminus -- if there's "more models" outside the window or wall (or maybe you're picking something on the other side of a table).... [code has to see if you can shoot through

I factory reset my Quest 2 to fix an issue with the game and it was reset and the device was removed from my account (according to my device list on the website). On my phone however it still said that I have a Quest linked to my account with the same serial number. It never connects and it I can't pair my Quest 2 again. I tried pairing to another account too and it didn't work. Can't even contact support since it requires a device to be registered to my account but it isn't anymore.Anyone have this issue and found a fix? I tried reinstalling the app several times, logging in and out, and another factory reset.

Hi everyone, new Quest 3 owner here. I was under the impression that when your hands approach the edge of a roomscale, the controllers should begin to vibrate. And as you get closer, the haptic feedback should increase in intensity, especially after you've crossed the threshold (when the on-screen blue grid is punctured by a red circle). But this never occurs. Changing the roomscale sensitivity level, in the system settings, makes no difference. The controllers certainly vibrate in other scenarios, so it's probably not a hardware issue.  Further, I was able to replicate this issue on both a new Quest 3, and a new Quest 3S, suggesting it's a software issue with Horizon OS (or perhaps user error,  haha!).Does anyone else also experience this lack of haptic feedback when approaching walls/furniture?

Hi, I'm having an issue with a referral for the app Virtual Desktop.Over 14 days ago, someone used my referral link to purchase the app. Now I can see the "Referral Accepted" status on my end in the mobile app. However, I cannot redeem the 2€.I reached out to Meta Support via email to resolve this. They are now asking for the recipient's full name and email address to verify the transaction. The person who accepted the link doesn't want to share their personal data with me to pass along to support (and frankly, I wouldn't want as well). All I know is that they properly purchased the app and the discount was applied. They didn't refund it.I know it’s a small amount, but I'd still like to sort it out. Has anyone else experienced this specific loop with support? Any tips on how to proceed? Screenshot from app:The message says: "Cannot redeem the code right now, it's possible that the recipient..."

I removed an account from my Quest 2 a while back since the system would be lagging and sometimes quit back to account select when logging into it, and now want to add it back. When I follow the steps from the invite link, it tells me this account is already connected, despite not having a way to log into it. Is there a way around this that doesn't require a factory reset?

In the last week all the Quest I do don't get rewarded with points, I'm glad to see it's a issue that a bunch of us are experiencing. Hope they fix it soon because updating the app, login off than logging in, forcing the app to stop etc, DID NOTHING. Mean while we are doing TASKS that benefit them FINANCIALLY like sharing, joining worlds and having to spend time there. We need this FIXED ASAP! The rewards have a limited time to redeem, it's just unfair and false advertising.

Hi everyone, need some help with a stuck setup.I'm trying to pair my new Quest 3 to my iPhone to finish the setup (and claim a referral), but I'm hitting a wall. The Specific Issue: The app detects the headset via Bluetooth, and I am able to enter the 5-digit pairing code shown in the lenses. However, immediately after entering the code, the app attempts to pair/connect but then fails with an error (screenshot attached). My Theory: I suspect this is a network permission bug. The Meta Horizon app needs "Local Network" access to finish the handshake, but the iOS system popup asking for this permission never appears. When I check iPhone Settings -> Meta Horizon, the "Local Network" toggle is completely missing. Only Location, Bluetooth, and Notifications are listed. What I have already tried:Reinstalled the app multiple times.Reset Network Settings on my iPhone (to force permission prompts).Factory Reset the Quest 3 multiple times.Tried connecting via Personal Hotspot (cellular data) to b

A couple of days ago after my headset updated, I no longer had the option to invite friends to calls, nor can I join calls or even see when my friends are online. When I go on to ‘People’ the option to invite/chat isn’t there and instead it takes me to the Shop! I tried asking a friend using the app chat on my iOS to send me an invite, which they did but when I clicked on it and tried to launch on to the VR, nothing came through on the headset to allow me to do it. Any ideas would be very much welcomed, thanks

As of a week ago, Amazon Music refuses to work on my Ray-Ban Meta glasses. If I ask the glasses to play a song on Amazon Music, the voice announces the track is about to play on Amazon Music, but nothing actually plays. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps such as reinstalling, re-connecting to Amazon Music, etc. Nothing seems to fix it. Using the glasses with Android in case that is relevant.

I have a Q3, Unity6, using the Building blocks for Camera Rig, PassThru, MRUK, Raycast Viz, PassThru Camera Access, hands... and some cubes and things.  And I did the "don't show guardian" thing in the Manifest...When I run the app, it is fine... until I move my head somewhere... then I am surrounded by a gray blob that blocks everything (including passthru; cannot see the scene nor can you see the passthru).  Hands do continue to work (palm up meta key) even though you can't see them [you do see the meta glyph].Sometimes it happens when I leave a room, other times I have no idea what or why it's there... but since it blocks everything... it quickly becomes dangerous because I can no longer see my surroundings.  If I keep pushing... eventually, I get to the other side, but... no idea what it is, why it is, or even where it is (not visible in scene; doesn't belong to any of my gameobjects [cubes or dragon]).When seated, it's usually X=0,Y=.4-.6, Z is eye level (as in, if

For some reason, my Meta Quest 2 has decided to not connect to my home WiFi network completely today. It was working just fine yesterday, as I was on in the evening. But now, even though it shows the WiFi network, the strength on it is excellent, it's working on all my other devices and the three computers within my household, it just gives me the "Failed to connect to WiFi" on my Quest 2 every single time.  I've tried all the "general solutions" that have been suggested... restart your headset, update your Oculus app, update your headset, reset your router, forget the network and reconnect, etc, etc... Everything short of a factory reset, which I'm trying to AVOID, as it's now a MESS to even set up an account anymore. I don't want to have to go thru all this if I don't have to.  To say this is frustrating me is an understatement. I've not experienced issues like this over the years I've owned my headset, and now, I can't do anything but use it as a paperweight at the mo

Both my iphone and Quest 2 are set to the same wifi, I select cast on my quest and select my app from the menu and on my phone is says it is now casting but I see  nothing.  Anyway to fix this because it's a serious bummer that I can't play with my family with no way for them to see it

I just got the headset not too long ago and wanted to try out the hand tracking feature without setting down the controller. There is a setting that allows double tapping the Touch Plus controllers together to enable, however after no less then 5 seconds the controller regains control and hand tracking turns off. (Using the Velcro Straps from Meta instead of provided string straps)Is there a way I can make my controllers not re-attain control while still having them technically in my hands? Or is this feature only allowed when the controllers are set down?I got a friend who sent me a solution via a third-party attachment that enables finger-tracking similar to Vive, however I'd rather stick with what I got and the attachment isn't even available yet anyways(March 2026).

DE keeps loading in old scripts that have been deleted multiple times. Scripts that were deleted months ago. What could possibly be the reason these "phantom scripts" keep loading in?I delete them in the scripts folder, empty the recycle bin and then when I load the world, the scripts reappear, causing errors in the console. When I go to delete them, I get a confirmation dialogue saying the option cannot be undone, but here we are, the script deletions being "undone". Its quite annoying...

My son is unable to log into his meta account on his headset. I believe that his account might be compromised, but there appears to be no way to get in contact with support directly.I found a link to a form that Irish users can use to get in touch, but it's broken, as it routes the "I have an account issue or lost access to my account" query to the "I want to report an underage user" page. This is EXTREMELY frustrating seeing as it is a matter of account security. The fact that there's no direct support for Meta services makes me regret ever getting these headsets for my kids. The link to the broken support form is https://www.facebook.com/help/oculus/contact/762482912021015. Is there any solution to this? I feel at this stage that this is simple grounds to report this lack of support options to the European Ombudsman.

Hello I had this problem happen to me since the Quest 3 touch plus controller firmware update to 1.9.2 I did on November 12. Before that, I didn't notice a problem with them. Since the update the presence of my fingers are not tracked properly on the trigger especially if I move my finger up or down across the button. It will think I am not touching the trigger while my finger is still resting on it. I have to almost be perfectly centered on the button and try my best not to move it while doing my hand gestures or it will think my finger is not touching it.   I already contacted the support team and they sent me replacement controllers with the same issue. I hope Meta is reading this so they can notice the regression since 1.9.2 and make an update soon.

Hello,I can't figure out why I have the error :[NPCSManager] (2, 121:146) Cannot find module 'horizon/avatar_ai_agent' or its corresponding type declarations. [NPCSManager] (25, 55:71) Property 'spawnAgentPlayer' does not exist on type 'Entity'.Do I have to enable some settings ?

Is this a problem for everyone or just me? It says Feb bonus not available.

why can't i design any clothes now and i can't wear new items, and all the items that i have sold are gone says i haven't sold anything,

I setup my child’s account for his new quest 3s on Christmas. So far, so good. When he turned 13, he was going through the process of setting up his teen settings. I suppose he entered his screen name incorrectly and associated that with his email address and now we can’t figure out how to access his original screen name that is associated with my account. We still have access to that screen name but have no idea what email is associated with it. Anyone know how to find out the email address for a screen name?

I not only do not have an issue starting air link... it suddenly starts running without my requesting it. I used to have to "start" link by connecting to the PC which makes it easy for me to choose native vs PC but now (most of the time) when I start the headset it connects to my PC and I'm forced to exit air link.Turning off air link every time isn't the ideal solution so did something change in this last update? Is there an option for "auto start" air link that I can turn off?
