Solved

Recently got a Quest 3S bought from Costco. I have been having issues with the right controller .. left one works just fine. The issues with the right one are:Automatically scrolls to the bottom.Sometimes (not always) the arrow / dot / pointer doesn't come up. Though this has happened just recently.Thumb tracking not working. This I noticed after reading the support documents and other forums to 'recalibrate' the controller for dead zone / drift issues. However when I go to recalibrate moving the Thumbstick in a circle doesn't get registered in the recalibration. I tried the left controller and as I move the thumbstick in circular direciton, the recallibration also window also shows that and it is smooth with the left controller! What have I tried so far:Changed the batteriestried to recalibrateunpaired and repaired the right controller. As some of these issues are from day 1 .. I think I might have a defective right controller. I am hoping Meta can send a new one.

My controllers work perfectly fine everywhere except when I use the Remote Desktop app. Ever since I started using that app, my controller becomes extremely glitchy while it’s open and won’t stay active for more than half a second.I have to constantly spam the trigger button just to keep it active and click on things. The moment I close the Remote Desktop app, the controller works normally again. You can clearly see exactly what I mean in the video.

Hello,  I ordered 2 different meta quest 3 and they were supposed to be bundled with walking dead and neither one of them had it. I've tried reaching out through the website but I can't get any help because it's saying "We couldn't find any devices associated with your Meta account." So I can't get any further. It's there a customer service number?

Hello everyone   I have a problem updating my meta quest 3 goggles.   When turning off the update screen indicates that an update is taking place and the device will turn off after updating. After a dozen or so hours (>10 hours) the device is still updating.   A simple restart of the device does not give any results.   I tried to update the device using the online update tool. I paired the device with the computer but after about 5% of the progress the page shows an update error and tells me to contact the Meta support department.   Does anyone have a solution to this problem?   Regards Hubert

I recently bought a meta quest 3s, using a promo code, which is supposed to give me 30€ of meta quest cash, but they’re nowhere to be seen, my meta balance is still at 0€ even after pairing the headset to the app

So i have a meta quest 3S that i bought recently from best buy and my controller isn't turning on and whenever i try to get a replacement it says there are no devices associated with this account even though there is and when i enter my serial number it says support isn't available for the device and i can't do anything now i have tried every possible way to try and fix the controller but what makes it worst is that they both have some serious stick drift that i have tried fixing using all methods that won't work so i cant get a replacement and i will have to return it or sell it please reply for a solution.

I am furious. I have spent 6+ hours attempting to resolve this and I find it abhorrent and unacceptable that you cannot get live support from the beginning of an issue. Just purchased the Quest 3S. For whatever reason, my headset shows in the Android Horizons app. It shows I'm the device owner. All of it.But when I attempt to get support it states I don't have a headset registered to my account, and when I attempt to verify using the serial number it says the serial number isn't eligible for support. Please help. I am about to return it and go for a different headset with live agents. This is wild.  I'm sorry, I'm incredibly upset at this point as my daughter has been unable to use her headset since Christmas, and I paid for it.

When charging should the indicator light be on/flashing or off?

I have recently bought the Meta Quest 3s and would like to side load some apps onto my headset. My efforts up to now have failed so if anyone has any tips I'd be really grateful.

So I'm having an issue with Worlds Desktop Editor. Just downloaded and installed it. When I try to run it, some window appears for 1 second then nothing happens. I already tried running as administrator, changing the resolution, clearing cache, installing the VC++ Redistributable but none works. Does anyone else have the solution? I have newest version from official website. My PC specs:MOBO: MSI PRO B760-P DDR4 IICPU: Intel i5 14600kGPU: Intel Arc B570 10GBRAM: 2x16GB ADATA Spectrix D35GSSD drives:ADATA Spectrix S40G 512GBPNY 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe CS1030HDD Toshiba 1TBPSU: ENDORFY Elementum E5 550W 80 PlusCooling:Case Endorfy Ventum 200 ARGBMSI MAG CoreLiquid A15 240 ARGBHere is an example.

I have been editing a world I created. I was able to publish the world as well without any issues until today.Today, I added pose gizmo to some couches. When I tried to publish the world, it said it couldn't because the world contained pre-release features. The only thing I added was the was the pose gizmo. So, I tried deleting the pose gizmo and was still unable to publish the world. Now, when I try to edit the world again, I get an Unable to Travel error. I tried restoring from a few of today's and yesterday's backups and I get the same error. When I try restoring a backup from Dec 25th, it loads but the world is blank.I can preview the world just fine and it shows me the latest changes. I've tried cloning and I've tried creating a new world and importing to it. Nothing works. How do I fix this?

this is my another account.I accident delete my google authenticator keys which use for 2fa. and i didnt back up the key yet.now i stuck on 2fa verify when login my account. without meta horizon login i cant do anything with quest2.is there chance to find back key? or re-bind my cell phone?quest account name is majo_Inaba. facebook account is another one but they use same cell phone google authenticator.

I just got 3 headsets up and running in my house.  Two look like what I am used to, but one headset with one account looks completely different and from what I have looked up it is this Navigator option.  The thing is though, on THAT SAME HEADSET if I log in to my account it looks Normal without the Navigator settings.  How do I change the other account that is stuck in this Navigator GUI back to the original way as it is causing my daughter to get very frustrated because she doesn't know where to go and I can't tell her because I don't know how it works.Essentially I want all the logins and all the headsets to look the same.  So my question is how do I put my kids account back to looking like everyone else's account and not be in Navigator?

My sister bought a headset, I sent her my referral code.  She used the link, created an account and it’s all registered on the app.  No referral is showing for either focus though, if I login to my account on the website it shows the referral claimed but no device activated.  The device is fully activated via the app, if she try’s to activate via the website instead of the app it then says she has no account registered to the email address she is using and won’t let her create one with tgat email address! its absolutely ridiculous, making it so hard to claim the promotional credit over Christmas and no support we can contact or flag this with.Has anyone had a similar experience or any idea how we can rectify it?

Hello everyone.I've had this question since day one. Is it normal for the images seen through the headset to be blurry? While they're perfect in apps and games. Thanks.

On numerous occasions i've tried to change my Date of Birth at auth.meta.com and it has not worked and said "Cannot change birthday, contact support" I've even tried the Facebook method and it still hasn't worked, I just got my Oculus quest 2 yesterday, so if that has to do anything please tell me. Thanks!

I recently got a 3S for Christmas and when I tried to access Worlds through the device it wouldn't let me saying it's unavailable. Then I tried it on the mobile app and it said that my account is restricted for violating several rules. It told me to check my email and there was none. I checked my account standing and it says that it is perfectly fine. I talked to the little AI helper but it's telling me to do things that are literally impossible like submitting an appeal when there is no option to do so. I can't find anywhere to talk to a real person at meta to fix this as I can only assume that this is a bug because I didn't magically violate several rules on VR before even having VR.

My boundary is always on Roomscale, and I always play on Stationary. Every time I play a game on v81, my boundary is set to Roomscale, and I have to reset it. Is there any fix for this?

My new Meta Quest 3 is at v83 and somehow I turned on the display of the boundary grid both floor and walls and I can't figure out how to turn off that display while I'm playing, would someone please point me in the right direction to turn it off?

Hello!I encountered a problem while trying to install Meta/Oculus Link on my PC. The installer shows the error:“Selected disk does not meet requirements. Link requires 3.75 GB on an internal NTFS disk.”My system details:Drive C:\ — NTFS, 71.5 GB free out of 222 GBDrive D:\ — NTFS, 230 GB free out of 447 GBBoth drives are basic, internal, not externalWhat I have tried:Running the installer as AdministratorInstalling in Safe ModeClearing temporary filesDownloading the latest installer from the official Meta websiteAttempting installation on different drives (C and D)Changing system region/language to English (US)Result: the error persists. Is there a working way to bypass this disk check? Maybe there is a fixed installer or patch from Meta? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I bought some meta quest 3s and gave another 2 to my brothers and I did the 60 dollars but when I tried to redeem the second one it marked me an error and marked it as redeemed and it did not appear in my wallet

I’ve tried about three times over the last few weeks and I still haven’t received a link to the desktop editor

This has been an issue for me at some point after an update to the app, and whenever I have the app opened with the "Client.exe" running for some unknown reason, my wifi speed flipping TANKS. This has never happened before the rebrand of Oculus Link/updateI tried messing around with the prefered band in device manager, setting eveything to 5ghz and nothing worked...PLEASE... HELP...-without app opened-app opened (THE UPLOAD IS BELOW 0... HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE...) When i tested the speed of it, in the middle of the testing I opened the app and then it drops significantly... it limits the max to only be 10mbps.-"Client.exe"

I’m making an action game, and a few days ago Unity suddenly started throwing errors and wouldn’t open for no apparent reason. After I deleted Meta’s SDK, Unity launched normally again, and reinstalling the SDK didn’t cause any further issues. However, yesterday I noticed that both controllers in my game had suddenly flipped 180 degrees on the Z-axis (see Image 1). This only happens during actual device testing — it does not happen inside Unity (see Image 2).I tried flipping the controllers’ Z-axis by 180 degrees in Unity to cancel out the issue, but it had no effect.I haven’t touched any packages in the past month, and everything was still normal about a week ago.Currently, my Meta SDK version is 81.0.0, OpenXR Plugin version is 1.15.1, and Unity OpenXR Meta version is 2.2.0.

Hi, I'm MHCP new and I would like to start making avatar clothing for my world but dont know where . Help please
