Solved

Please give me your guy's opinion on this, I genuinely believe it would help the appHello, I am a game developer and have been for the last seven years. I have always wanted to make a successful game. In the last three years, I have been working with Unreal Engine. After all this time, I have always died down to burnout making assets, paying for them, programming, and scrapping systems. I decided to take a break. I then saw Meta Connect (2025) I instantly decided to hop on this. After about a month of work thus far, I have a pretty nice game. It's a long story, but when looking at the age requirements for actually getting payouts through MHCP, everything crumbled. It seems like everything was for nothing, which brings us to my proposition. MCHP Age requirementsSome things I would like to point out--a lot of the current games on Meta Horizons suck. This is just my honest opinion; they all seem very low effort. So these are the impacts of making a teen program (13+) or lowering

Unable to enjoy watching any content on prime video as during any quiet parts the I can hearing the chirping birds from the virtual environment. Restarting headset (quest 2) does not resolve.

Has anyone received a pop up with an error about script syncing on the desktop editor when editing their world?  See image - I am not using typescript. Just codeblocks. I always hit cancel but its annoying popping up everytime. Happened after today's update.

I’m trying to set up my glasses and when I get to the part of share additional data I get stuck this screen

Since the meta quest link update, the passthrough has been distorted inside play mode in Unity, in build mode it works perfectly. It actually is rendering the outside world but super stretched and bugged. I have a AMD Gpu Radeon RX 5500M

so now everytime i start up link it keeps lagging like crazy. i dont have the minimum requirements but it has worked fine until now. its lagging to the point whre i have to wait 1 hour to load a simple game. ive tried rebooting my headset and laptop and uninstalling and reinstalling meta quest link app but it still has the same issue.can anyone tell me how to fix this or am i just stupid and its just the minimum requirements?

Following the directions for Body Tracking for Movement SDK, everything works fine until you get to this section: https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/unity/move-body-tracking/#import-a-character I am using a MakeHuman character with a game engine rig (basic rig) These seem to be correct from videos/documentation.The next screen, none of the preview sequences workAs well, there are several errors that happen when the mouse moves across the 3D model viewErrors: 1. Hi there,i was wondering if there were any known best practices for moving platforms.Currently i have several platforms in the world moving in various ways on the server. However since I'm in Australia, im semi -frequently getting latency issues / rubber banding / glitchy results. Occasionally everything works well enough to use, but sometimes not. Is there anything i can do to mitigate this?  Would reducing replicated elements across the entire game improve it much? Does moving objects in PrePhysics instead of Update help? Is there an ideal speed for moving platforms to move that should be considered a limit? Thanks in advance

We are making a team based game, Your team cannot go to other team's area. So i wanted a collider which gets enabled locally depending your team name. But if i enable a collider locally, all players in the worlds can collide with it.

I’m in the partners program but I’m not in the MHCP Discord. Does anyone know how I can be added? Thank you,AlyKat128

It's just that simple.I setup a floor level, draw boundary or scan my room, then save and right after that I cannot see the boundary. It's not saved. Yes, I tried reset, another room, another light, I even wiped headset with a dry white cloth. I created several tickets out from headset, but all of my tickets traditionally ignored by developers. And the problem is - that I don't even know what to do or where to complain. In all my games small circle boundary is applied - it makes most of my games unplayable. If my vacuum cleaner broke, I could call, come to the store, send it back and they would definitely help me. What to do with this piece of broken **bleep** other than complain on reddit and find out there's a legion of people with the same problem they can't solve - I don't know.

https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/unity/unity-spectator-camera/This is such an amazing feature so why has Meta broke the feature and never fixed it? Are there any alternatives for native casting from the Quest?

Okay, so I've seen some games do this (Like Goblin Wrangler), but I'm really struggling to figure it out on my own. I want to build some 2d games that would lock to a portion of the screen for VR (like a focus UI would) and I could build a nice environment around it.But also would like to find a way to build a focused ui that the game launches into for mobile as well. I've scoured the net for docs on how to do this, but nothing's come up. Somehow a few folks have figured it out, but I'm hoping someone can lend a hand!

I'm having issues with updating my payout method, it keeps saying try gain, and when i go to payout support it just takes me to explore worlds.

I previously managed a business page linked to a separate email address. Recently, my Meta/Instagram account was compromised. An unauthorized party gained access and proceeded to change the account's email address, added a new phone number, and eventually linked their email to the Meta account while removing mine.Following this, it appears the account name may have been changed or the account itself deleted. When I attempt to log in using either the original email address or the new email/phone number associated with the account, I am redirected to Instagram's Can't log in page, with no further options or support available.I still have access to the original email account and have received multiple notifications confirming the unauthorized changes such as login attempts, email changes, and account access alerts. Despite having this documentation and proof of ownership, I have been unable to find any direct support contact or method through Meta or Instagram to report this issue o

Hi allI've been using my Oculus Rift happily for some years now but at some point recently it seems that the "homes" that I had built and all the object that I had collected have just vanished.I now have a the "grey field" when I log in to my headset, All the games etc., seem to work okay but I do miss the homes I had built. Is it true that they have all gone for good ?ThanksDavid

I noticed that when you're in a world in the Meta Horizon App it will notify the user with  a full screen message after around 100 seconds of user inactivity. Asking them if they want to continue exploring the world. Is there a way to increase this time-out duration? Since in my opinion 100 seconds is really fast for a time-out. It's annoying for a user in cases they're reading something, thinking about a strategy or playing some idle game with longer wait times. It would be great if this time-out time could be increased for all worlds by Meta or by a creator for their own worlds, perhaps with a max of 10 minutes.I've also encountered that a player automatically exited the game because of inactivity, not sure how long that took but way to quick IMO.Thanks.

Is there any way to transfer our world ownership to someone?

Has anyone figured out how to adjust the scale in Desktop Editor?I'm currently working on the Navigation section, but some of the buttons appear to be cut off.I've tried everything I can think of, including uninstalling and reinstalling the Desktop Editor, but no luck so far.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have stumbled into an issue i dont have an easy fix for, i usually got around it by cloning the world, but i think there needs to be a better, more consistent solution. the issue im talking about is once in a blue moon my desktop editor starts freaking out and instead of updating the same script im making edits to, it creates .tmp files out of updated version and reverts the original file to old version. how do i fix or bypass that bug. ive tried deleting the tmp, deleting the original and saving the tmp as original file, but i want to get to the bottom of the issue.

I just got my new Quest 3 3 days ago. When I connected it through Oculus link app and a genuine Oculus link cable to my PC the connection dropped almost immediately. After reconnecting I noticed that even the slightest movement of the plug of the link cable (while it is plugged in) results in a disconnection. This makes connecting to a PC with a link cable practically unusable as almost every time I move I get disconnected. I want to add that there is nothing wrong with the cable. I use the same cable to connect to my old Quest 2 and my link connection is absolutely solid. Have I been just very unlucky or is there a design flaw or fault of the USB port on the Quest 3 headset? I had a chat via live support. I am now expecting an email from the support. I guess I will need to wait to see what happens next...

I attended the Horizon Summit the other day and heard that the MHCP will continue next year. I thought it would end this December. Can someone clarify whether Meta will continue to fund the MHCP in 2026?

Is there any full course you would like to recommend to learn typescript? I would love to improve.

I published my world on mobile, but it was released for VR instead. I had to try two or three times to get my world published as a mobile world.I hope it get fixed soon

I want to bring attention to an issue that’s becoming increasingly damaging to the integrity of Horizon Worlds. Some creators are using bots to inflate visits, player counts, and eligible hours. This practice doesn’t just undermine the platform’s fairness, it also has real financial consequences. Because monthly bonus payouts come from a shared pool, botted worlds directly reduce the potential earnings for honest creators who are working hard to build authentic engagement.Recently, some of the highest-ranking worlds have shown engagement patterns that appear inconsistent with normal player behavior. This suggests the issue isn’t isolated, it’s affecting top-performing games and distorting visibility across the platform.Epic Games recently took legal action against creators on their platform for similar behavior, recognizing how botting harms the creator ecosystem. Meta should consider a similar stance. These artificial boosts distort performance metrics, discourage genuine creators, and
