There is a message at the top of the Meta Horizon Worlds editor that mentions submitting Halloween-themed worlds, but doesn't specify where exactly.Do we just publish our world with a Halloween theme and it'll get considered for this holiday curation?

I went to play an online game a few days ago, and it kicked me out telling me to go make a meta account. i do all the steps to make on, and then it tells me to go to www.meta.com/device to put in the code it prompted me with. I put in the code, and it said an error occurred, Generate new device code. Now i tried again a few days later, after that error happening many many times, and now it says the account I'm using does not match my purchases and stuff on my oculus account, saying I'm using a different account, BUT IM NOT. i really need help because I can't play any games.

Hello, so I recently got my Meta Quest 3 in August, and one of the first things I did was pay for the annual subscription to Quest+, because I see it as a great deal. I made sure to redeem every curated game, and every game from the rotating library. I checked several times, and even downloaded them. I know have a few games that are expired, which I know I redeemed. They are A Township Tale, Sports Scramble, and The Climb. They are in my library. Is there any way to reclaim them? It seems so odd because my subscription is active, and nothing else is expired.  I am confused if I did anything wrong. I made sure to claim every game since that is part of the value. Is there anything I can do?

This stream is for the PCVR users experiencing a screen blackout with the popup saying roughly "USB-C Charging Disabled, please clean charging port".I have been Meta for about a week at this point. I have been following their every advice and spending my own money to try to resolve this. The root cause of this issue is with how the device charges. Once the Q3 (any smart phones, basically anything new) gets to 70-80% charged, it lowers the current to better charge the battery and reduce heat. For some reason, Meta is using this current drop as a signal for when a "short" is occurring (I would imagine to protect against the risk of thermal events or overheating to the port) it disables the port and throws the popup. The first issue is that its detecting something that IS NOT there. This is a "better safe than sorry" solution and they value preventing a lawsuit over customer experience. The headset works fine after acknowledging the popup usually, or just a removal/insertion of the cord res

So, i've seen a couple worlds/events popping up, and also seen in world purchases for clothing (world merch).  How is this possible!??  i'm intrigued and would love to create some of my own!. anyone have any tips?

I can't change any settings on my headset through the Horizon app and it says that I don't own the headset even though I'm using the account I used to setup my headset.

I started a thread a couple of months ago but now when I go back to it I can't add a reply. The last reply was 28 days ago. Are threads maybe closed after a certain time? Please explain. I can reply to other threads.

I just discovered that Meta Horizon is blocked in Egypt, which unfortunately prevents me and many other developers here from creating or participating in the current hackathon. This is frustrating because it means we are missing out on the opportunity to experiment, innovate, and build games using the very tools Meta is encouraging the global community to try.I sincerely hope that someone from the Meta team can clarify whether there is a chance to enable access to Meta Horizon in Egypt, even temporarily, so developers here can take part and make the most of this hackathon.Access to these tools is essential for us to learn, contribute, and grow within the ecosystem. Blocking us out means blocking potential talent and creativity.

https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/1me9wa1/anyone_elses_charging_break_with_that_update/ok so after the new firmware update 3rd party link cables disconnect and reconnect rapidly like in the reddit video. i have the same cable i had one for probably 2 years with no issues then one day it just died so i ordered a back up when i ordered the new one so i have the one i have been using with no issues and a brand new charge and play link cable both are now showing the same issue as in the video i get a rapid connect and disconnect from my pc. That reddit post is a day old and already has 100plus upvotes and comments of people having similar issues. That is also not the only post showing this new issue. I understand that meta doesnt support 3rd party cables or devices blah blah blah. When hundreds of users use a charge adapter or cable you dont make it not work one day. Tesla isnt goin to disable charging using an adapter at a power station cause they want you to use their car. I

This problem occurred to me 2-3 days ago when I just want to play some vr games with my quest pro controller that I have had for maybe 2-3 years now, and then my controllers need updating which I wait for them to update. But when I check on my controllers to see the purple light, it only appears for 3 seconds before going away and my headset keeps saying update starting even though it doesn’t start. I have waited like an hour for them to update but they don’t, so now I have to resort to my quest 2 controllers until I figure out the problem.

I've found a bug with the Oculus Link software using the official link cable and Quest 3. Every time I try to play some relatively demanding PCVR titles or enter some heavy worlds in VRChat, after the computer stutters for a few seconds for loading, the headset tracking and the streamed video feed go completely out of sync. The frame rate in the demanding scene after loading is high and smooth, but the video feed in the headset is a bit delayed relative to my head movement, resulting in an extremely nauseous experience. Even after I quit the demanding game and returned to Oculus Dash, the problem remains, and the video feed is still delayed. This bug can be reproduced consistently. Reconnecting the Oculus link briefly eliminates the problem, but the delay happens again when I try to load scenes. This makes the Oculus link unusable. Any solutions?   PC spec: Dell G15 Laptop (i7-12700H, RTX3060, 16g RAM, Plugged in wall). Quest 3 connected via Thunderbolt port

I'm trying to install the meta horizon desktop editor. The downloading was fine and the installing was also fine, but it only shows black when I open the app. And the icon on desktop is also wrong. My friend downloaded it as well, his icon was fine, but still black screen after opened. Maybe anyone knows what could be the issue? I'm really appreciated. For reference, my PC is i5-9400, RAM 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, Win10.Someone suggested to download from meta quest link app, but I stuck after it redirected me to website to log in. I logged in on website successfully, but the app stuck. Also, I'm in China, but with vpn on. Can't even try logging in if I turn off vpn. Thank you so much!!

I'm trying to reach an actual person to get help, somewhere. On the Account Overview/Business portfolio page I'm trying to verify my business by 'Verify by document' and I always get "There was a problem saving your changes. Please wait a few minutes and try again."I am unable to finish request review to upload business documents. Neither business registration or certificate of incorporation is allowing me to upload a pdf.

I'm not quite sure when this started happening, but it's regarding the Meta Quest Link App starting automatically when I boot up my PC.Sometimes, after I log in to Windows, there it is, running happily. At other times it isn't.  In which case I start it up if I need it.  Or it will sometimes start up by itself if I activate the headset.Sometimes it can take a very long time (up to about a minute) to start, displaying a small window with a Meta Logo and a rotating standby ring.Is this normal?  Is there an issue?I preferred it as it was before - i.e. I start it when I choose to.  I see no need for it to be running on my PC when I'm not using the headset, and really Meta should provide a "run on Windows startup" option in the app's settings to enable the user to choose.I am aware that this can be achieved by changing the status of the Oculus VR Runtime Service, but this is not something users should be expected to have to do.

When I use the Hand Grab Block prefab from the Meta XR Interaction SDK, a cube with the Meta/Lit shader is automatically included. In Unity 6.2, this shader throws repeated console errors. The project still runs, but sometimes Unity crashes (not certain if directly related to this shader).Unity VersionUnity 6.2Meta XR SDKMeta XR Interaction SDK (latest from Unity Asset Store)Expected ResultPrefab should work without shader/material errors.Actual ResultConsole shows repeated shader errors:Shader error: State comes from an incompatible keyword space Expected: From shader: 'Meta/Lit' Keyword count: 76 ... When I try to enter Meta Connect, another window shows up prompting me to download. However, it is stuck on "Installing..." and I can't join. Also, the reviews seem to be different than the regular download page. How can I fix this?

My Quest 3S headset stopped charging last night, Use it daily and it never goes to 0%.  Today it would not turn on and the charging LED does not light up when plugged in. - Tried different cables (3x) - Tried different outlets / power adapters (5x) - Tried Hard Reboot (power button 30+ Seconds)- Tried Factory reset (power & - volume 30+ seconds)Log into meta quest and it shows the headset under My Devices listing the Serial NumberLog into Support and go through all the pages for the Quest 3S -> Device -> Battery -> Poor Battery and receive a message that it can't find any devices with this account...  logged in with the same account.   Tried verified with another method and used the Serial Number DISPALYED ON THE DEVICE PAGE..  and it says it cannot find anything.  This was a gift for my daughter from another family member that purchased it on Amazon,  so I do not have an order number and all email addresses that are a

Desperate for resolution and looking for help. It appears that where I shipped the headset for warranty may have lost my son's Quest 3s based their emails. I was told on 9/16 and 9/17 they had my device and a replacement was being shipped only to be told on 9/18 an investigation is being done. I can’t get a clear answer on to what is being investigated or a timeline, same replies just different verbiage. My son has a neurological condition that keeps him from playing contact sports that he would love to play but can’t and this has been his outlet since 2019 but I don't have the funds to just buy another one. Below is a recap of timeline. Looking for a better customer service email, phone number, anything that will help get this resolved. 9/6: Meta emails me an RMA + FedEx label.9/9: FedEx confirms delivered.9/15- 9/17: Meta admits it’s delivered & “eligible for replacement” I was checking  daily because status wasn’t updating. On 09/16 I see the RMA was canceled, a new one

Hi all,I'm working on a Unity project where speech technology is central, and I'm facing a hurdle with Meta's Voice SDK. My primary need is to use phonemes directly for text-to-speech (TTS), but I've found that Wit.ai does not support direct IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) input or return phoneme-level control for TTS.Questions & Discussion Points:Is there any way to use Wit.ai for phoneme or IPA-based TTS, or is this currently unsupported? Are there recommended approaches to integrate speech models based on self-supervised learning (like wav2vec 2.0, HuBERT, or WavLM) with Unity, either alongside or instead of Wit.ai?For complete control over TTS—especially for phoneme-level synthesis—would it make sense to bypass Wit.ai entirely and run a model (converted to ONNX) for inference directly inside Unity?Have others run into similar limitations, and if so, what workflows or toolchains have worked best for you?I’d appreciate any advice/examples for integrating more advanced or fle

There used to be an option to publish a members-only world but I don't see it anymore. Shame because that would be useful for several use cases. Is it truly gone or is there a trick to get the option to display when publishing a world?
