I'm trying to work with "Variable Groups".Now I have 2 owned Groups added in my World, so that I can see them from "System/Variable Groups" both under filter "Added to World" and "Owned by me".Test-1, I tried to add or remove some Variable in one Group. That's say, if I have 3 Variables, outer Groups list shows "3" vars under the group name, and "3/150" shown at the header of inner Variable list. When I add 1 var, they become "4" & "4/150", so far so good. But when I delete 1 var, they become "4" & "3/150", the outer info is wrong. (Okay, it maybe just a text.)Test-2, I tried adding over 150 variables, I add 10, delete 3, add 143, now it's 150.The 151-th var can't be added as expected, and texts show "153" & "150/150" as Test-1.After my testings, I'd like to dump the unused testing Group.I click "Remove from World" from the "Added to World" list, without "Delete" from "Owned by me" yet.BUT, THE OOPS HAPPEN!!The "System/Variable Groups" shows NOTHING but empty msg!?I tried "re-

Hello! The buttons on both controllers have stopped responding when I'm in games. However, they work perfectly in the home menu, settings, browser, and other non-game areas (e.g., navigating menus or the store). Re-pairing controllers and factory reset did not fix the issue.Any advice?P.S. Yes, it's v.81.

Today I fired up my Quest 3 and was "treated" to a controller update for both my Quest 3 controllers. After this happened the trigger and grip buttons on the right controller stopped working at all. Every other button works fine as does the joystick. Here are things I've tried that did NOT work:Replacing the battery (it registers as 100% but the grip and triggers still do not work)Cleaning the controllerRe-pairing in the options menuRe-pairing in the iOS appController factory reset (hold B + Meta button for 10 seconds - it reset but the two buttons do not work)Restarting the headset (it told me it was updating, which it always does; not sure I believe it, and when it rebooted the issue persisted)Remapping the A and B buttons to the trigger and grip in the Settings. This did not work at all. It's like the right controller not only refuses to accept inputs from its grip and trigger, but it has no concept at all of these two buttons. Something is VERY wrong with your software here Me

I've been told that Horizon is aware of this, but I thought I would try to confirm this on the discussion board. It's been over a month now, and so far, no build updates have fixed this issue.  I enter a world to start building and leave from the player's perspective, and enter build mode. When I return to player vision, my right controller no longer has the capability to rotate right or left.  I've been in the world with other collaborators, and they are NOT experiencing this issue.

Hi everyone,I wanted to share an issue I'm experiencing with my controllers after the latest update to my headset, as I understand many others are facing the same problem.First of all, I've tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by Meta Store Support, including:Ensuring my play area is free from reflective surfaces and light interference.Cleaning the tracking cameras.Removing third-party accessories.Re-pairing the controllers to the headset.Replacing the batteries (even though they were at 60%).Despite these efforts, the issue persists. My controllers work fine in the menus but are completely unresponsive in games. I can only use the Oculus button to exit to the main menu, but navigating or controlling within games is impossible. This problem started today after I installed the recent update. I used the headset yesterday without any issues, but after turning it off and on again today, the controllers no longer work as expected in games. This seems to be a widespread issue caused b

I have 3 NPCs in my world, none of which have any AI conversation capabilities. On the publishing panel, I am seeing a disabled button with the tooltip stating "Worlds with therapist NPCs cannot be published". I am not sure what these are but I am pretty sure my world does not have any.If anyone has experienced this and knows how to resolve it, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from them! Thanks

for pass like 2 weeks every time i try using Air Bridge it will say SystemUX is not working but not if i just use my router. i can use Virtual Desktop Streamer to bypass Meta Quest Link. roomscale is not working when im link to my pc if use VDS or Quest Link. can only think it was when i upgrade to Windows 11 like 3-4 weeks ago but i want back to 10 the next day and it was working

Does horizon support procedural objects? For instance, in Blender, I have a terrain mesh that has 2 textures and im using a color ramp to tell it show the dirt texture on slopes and grass texture on flatter surfaces. How can I translate this to horizon?

Hey! I'm seeing a weird issue where my NavMesh works perfect when previewing in the editor, but when testing as browser or mobile preview the NavMesh cannot be found. I'm seeing the exact same when testing out the NPC Examples tutorial as well as the Chop n Pop template world.Anyone seen this before and have any pointers?I see there is a 2 year old post with something that sounds similar but can't confirm if it's the exact same error. https://communityforums.atmeta.com/discussions/dev-unity/navmesh-not-recognised-in-il2cpp-builds/1199692

I am having issues with my Quest 2 not pairing air link with my new PC. I built it and have all the latest drivers installed, I've tried factory resetting my Quest 2, resetting/rebooting my PC, router, modem, Meta Quest Link app on my PC and my Quest 2. I've tried turning off and on the air link, have bluetooth enabled, it's currently connected to my 5g wi-fi on my router ect and I cannot fathom on how to get this thing to air link my PC, all it does is "Searching for PC" but has no problem connecting to my desktop via remote desktop. I'm at my wit ends here.

i just got this issue last Thursday. search a lot of related information online, and found it was just a common issue since 2019.  the fact is when i turn on my quest 3, it just jump to usb update mode. no matter i choose boot device, factory reset, sideload update, it just reboot the device and then jump to usb update mode again. if i choose power off, it will turn on again and stuck here while i try to charge my quest3.  does it mean my quest 3 system was wiped out and only need to return it to meta for a fix? did anyone even solve this successfully before? appreciate for any answers.  Latest update on Feb/21/2024, thanks for all answers here. Finally, i contacted Amazon for a replacement. They got a very nice after-sale service. even i bought this for 2 months, they just asked me to deliever my faulty one back and sent me a brand new one immediately and i got it on the second day.

Hi,I’d like to report an issue with the software keyboard on Quest v81.When using the software keyboard for text input, Japanese input (IME conversion) does not work — the keyboard accepts hiragana input, but conversion to kanji or katakana cannot be performed. This issue occurs not only in the Quest system itself but also in all Quest applications that use the software keyboard. It appears that the IME candidate window never shows up, and pressing the spacebar does not trigger conversion.Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue in v81, or if there is a workaround planned in a future update?Thank you for your time and support.

Has anyone got Meta Horizon Worlds Desktop Editor working on a MacOS using a virtual operating system, like Parallels (http://parallels.com) to install Windows? I'd love to try out this software but I'm running MacOS. I suspect it must work, but I don't want to invest into things without first figuring out if it will work or not.

Do MHCP (non-Partner) members have the ability to create in-world clothing that players can use? Not portable (they won't own it to use outside the world) but just the option to wear something unique while they are in our world? Perhaps even have it be a Quest reward? If so, are there any resources that can help me get started?

So I have an oculus quest 1 and didn't play for a really long time. The account was deleted and although I managed to set up a new one and retrieve the games I can't connect to the headset. I have tried factory resetting the vr ,but every time I get to the set up for the oculus it keeps me stuck in the safety video with no way to progress

So after a few weeks without using my headset, I put it on today, it updates to v79, and now the passthrough cameras are completely black. Even when defining the play area I cannot see my environment. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have unlocked the skill tree to enlist Draugar when grappling Djehuty’s skull. It worked the first time and never after. Rolled back the game, re-earned enough skill points to unlock that skill once again, and it worked the first time once more and never after. I have tried all bug fixes, including uninstalling and reinstalling the game and reloading my saved game. Still cannot utilize the skill. It appears that the grappling ring may appear partially and briefly in the region of the neck. For the most part, the beads strike well above the skull with no grappling ring present. Same issue appears to be the case with the unlocked abilities in the necromancer staff. Any help or insight will be appreciated, looks like a great skill to have, and I feel a bit ripped off for having utilized many skill points to get a useless item.

I bought the offficial usb 3 cable from meta but under windows only usb 2.0 is working.I think it's because windows 11 use a generic usb2.0 ribver when I connect my quest3 as you can below: How can I force windows 11 to use the correct quest3 driver ?

I finally got an NPC (avatar) running around my world. Now I am wondering where do I find list of all available animations for NPC avatars. For example, if I need for NPC to grab a weapon, how do I know what animations for holding sword, axe, pistol, shotgun, etc. are called and what they look like?

Hi guyssince I have upgraded my Quest3 to v81 I suffer a problem with Link.I'm not able to connect to my pc via Wifi. It doesn't recognize any PC. I already reboot PC and quest3, reinstalled the pc app, restore to factory the quest3, and so on...If I use virtual desktop, I can pair quest 3 to PC via wifi. In the window of Link I don't have the switch to activate the wifi connection even if it is on in setings (in v79 I had a slider...). This is the screenshot on Link menù:could you help me? Is it possible to downgrade to v79?thanks

Hi, I attended the avatar clothing workshop earlier today and it was great! I was testing out some designs and listing them as items in my inventory. I was able to get the design on the fabric and listed, but when I click the item details all I see is black. Is this what's supposed to happen? I had a design with lots of colors but not seeing that on the clothing. Am I missing something here? Thanks for any help! Also forgot to mention the item is not showing up in the Systems > Commerce section after trying to import it into a world.***

Hi, I am fairly new to Horizons and have started adding lights to my world. I got to about 8 dynamic lights and was maxed out. I have experience using Unity and am wondering about World's limitations. My scene is pretty dark so I am wondering if anyone can explain how the lighting system works in Worlds? I was hoping to get more overhead lighting in my scene. Does anyone know how many lights we can use of each dynamic/static or if there is a way to create an overhead sun that illuminates the entire scene/world? It's just so dark, and I need more lights! Please help! Thank you 😄

I'm doing this tutorial above.  I'm stuck here at step 5, I copied and pasted the code and saved the file but the script is not working. Is there a step missing from the tutorial?Anybody who had the same problem can you give me a heads up.  Thank youWHAT I ALREADY TRIED:I deleted the script off the weapon and re-applied it.      2.  I recompiled the script

Within the Meta Business Suite I'm attempting and have been for the better of two days now to verify my business suite: "There was a problem saving your changes. Please wait a few minutes and try again." That is the error I keep receiving. I've tried multiple browsers, incognito windows, different document uploads, different times of day and still it's failing for me. Is there someone that can help me out on this issue.

Hi I got enrolled into the creator program for mhcp and joined the discord server. However it seems I have kicked out of it? It doesn’t appear on my discord server. However my creator friends are still in there. I have tried to rejoin but still nothing happens. Can anyone shed any light on why I have been kicked out please.
