Solved

Hi there, I just received my brand spankin new Meta Quest 3 VR headset but upon logging into Meta Horizon app it only shows a 1 month trial as opposed to the 3 month trial, have I missed out or something and do I still get Batman game free too?

I see that there are now options for landscape and profile world promotion videos to complement the thumbnails.  I see this for my world:How do I upload these videos?

As you can see the battery contact on the right controller somehow moved down a bit and when I put in a battery it doesn't touch it so the controller doesn't receive power and doesn't work, atleast that's what I think is happening.I don't want to pull the contact back up cause I am scared I will break it even more but if there is nothing else I can do than I will try it.Does anyone know how to fix it?

Is there a quick way to get a rid (delete) my assets from my project? I can't find anything about that. Luckily I had them in the subfolder, so I deleted subfolder. But now I have to remove them from "deleted assets" one by one. It's such a horrible UI/UX :(Thanks

I'm having this same issue as this other thread, but it only happens at random, I'd like to follow these steps on that thread, but I'm scared of losing all my stuff in all my games.

Hi there, Could a manager please contact me regarding an urgent issue? I have an account issue and need an email address.  All the responses I am getting are AI replies.

Our app was recently accepted for App Lab store, and now the users report that Casting functionality is unavailable in the app. When app is installed on device in developer mode, casting does work properly. But for the app installed from the store on Quest 3, it says "Casting/Livestreaming not available". And I'm not able to find any information about enabling / allowing casting when publishing the app. What could be the issue or the reason of disabled casting functionality?

Hello all,Ihave the following issue:I own an Oculus Quest (Meta Quest 1)I can't get into my original Oculus account because the emailaddress associated with that account, doesn't exist anymore. Threfore I don't get the code sent to that address in order to access the account. I've created a new Meta Account with my current emailaddressThere are no Devices linked to my new account and I can't find where to add a device. So I would like to do 2 things:Get access to my old account and add that account to my new accountAdd my Oculus Quest to my new account Anyone knows how to get these 2 simple things done? With regards,Huibert

Hello everyone,I'm currently stuck on implementing a player teleportation feature for a Meta Quest 3 application in Unity and would greatly appreciate any help from experienced developers. What I want to achieveI want to control the player's position in the VR space. Specifically, I need two main functions:Prohibit player movement at certain times.Programmatically force the player to move to a specific coordinate and orientation (a "teleport"). The ProblemI'm unsure of the best practice to achieve this. My attempts have led to issues like the player's position not updating correctly or conflicts with the CharacterController. I want to know if there is a standard, reliable function or method provided by the official SDKs to handle this, which correctly manages the camera offset and physics interactions. What I've tried (from my development log)Initially, I tried to directly modify the position using a custom script, but I suspected a conflict with the CharacterController.

Hi Guys, I've recently bought an Oculus Quest 2 64 GB and currently trying to watch videos on my USB Stick via Big Screen and Pigasus VR Media Player on the headset. I've got an USB-C to USB 3.0 OTG adapter which I use to connect the USB stick to the headset. I've already formatted the filetype on my USB Stick to FAT32 as I'm aware that's the only USB filetype currently supported by Oculus Quest. When I connect the USB stick to the headset via the adapter, the headset recognizes that I've connected something as I hear a sound but then I'm unable to find the USB stick on any of the apps. I've tried following instructions on the Oculus support page which states that I should find 'Connect media' on Oculus Gallery but the app is no longer available on Quest 2. Are USB sticks supported on the Quest 2 or not? If yes, what are the instructions for accessing USB storage on the Quest 2? Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated as one of the reasons I got the headset was to watch

Hello, I am a developer trying to use Unity on my Windows 11 laptop to develop VR apps for the Meta Quest 3. To run my project on the headset, I downloaded the Meta Quest Link app. When I open this app, it gives me a warning saying "Your system's graphics card is incompatible with the Rift system software" with a link to https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/headsets-and-accessories/oculus-rift-s/rift-s-minimum-requirements/#specs. When I try to connect to my headset using AirLink, I get a similar message. I went into Task Manager and found that GPU 0 is "Intel (R) UHD Graphics" and that GPU 1 is "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design", the latter of which I believe meets the minimum requirements (said to be "NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti" at that link). I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and set "OculusClient.exe" to use GPU 1 and can verify that this app is using GPU 1 in the Task Manager (in the "GPU Engine" column). Why am I still experiencing this error? Please let me know if a

I  made a app, with simple Multiplayer. Server starts session, client joins session. Server and client see each other on chosen level. Standalone full VR (no MR, no anchors). It realized via EOS + Oculus Online Subsystem. The question is: Is it possible, make same behavior (data exchange) without internet connection, if 2 Quest 3 in physical proximity?OR via LAN (both Q3 connected to same LAN)

I am seeing in the docs that animated FBX is not supported. Is it still the case? Asking because how else would I create AI NPCs (enemies, etc.) or animated weapons or even just props without bringing in animated models.

I have inadvertanly switched something on that reads alloud everything i point my curser at. Annoying does not begin to describe it.HOW DO I TURN IT OFF 🥵

Ok so its like that. I lost my phone a while ago and my quest 2 is still connected with that phone in the meta horizon app. Now i have a new phone and i tried to connect my quest 2 and it didnt work. I am running into issues with Judder when using OVR Overlays.  I can't seem to repro it in the sample project, and I've tried to narrow it down by ensuring my actual project and the sample project are as close as I can get them.I'm rendering to a render texture from a camera.  The OVR Overlay is not attached to the user's head in any way, and the camera I'm using to render to the texture is also not attached to the head.  I'm wondering if there's some setting I'm missing that might cause pretty awful judder.  Has anyone else experienced this and have a fix?  I tried updating to the latest SDK, but no dice there.I'm on Unity 2021.3.21f1 and using the Oculus Integration v55 package.  Oh and I'm on URP.

Help! All of my purchased games are gone from my Meta Quest 2. I recently dusted off my quest 2 after many years of not playing. After some trouble logging in to my Facebook account due to its use of an email I no longer have access to, I was able to log in and get the new app installed on my phone. It prompted me to merge with a Meta account, so I did. However, none of my previous purchases appear to be connected to my account. I tried factory resetting the headset, clearing my browser cache, re-installing the app, every answer I could find on the internet, with no success... so now I am here, desperate for help.

Hello! I have discovered a problem with my Quest 2 where not only is the device taking a longer amount of time to load up to the menu, but I simply cannot play anything because everything in the Quest 2 home disappears after a few minutes and nothing seems to be interactable within that time where the menu appears. I have no choice but to cut off the device. I've attempted to mess around in the Quest home but nothing is reappearing and I've to restart and even boot the device multiple times, but nothing changes and I've ran out of options on how to attempt to fix it. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I just fired Arizona Sunshine 2 in my Quest 3 and the game keeps crashing as well. I was playing with my neighbor next door. We both bought the game from the Meta Store. He has a quest 2 no issues on his end but my Quest 3 keeps crashing every 12, 15 and 20mins into the game. It crashes to the home screen.

Im a beginner in 3D development. I import a glb object into environment.env with predefined textures(baseColorTexture, normalTexture, occlusionTexture), and I try to change the appearance(runtime) when clicking buttons. Here are my code,  but It didn't work to change the texture (baseColor or baseColorTexture). Is there anyone could help me? Thank you very much.private fun changeMaterial(node : SceneObject) {        val material = node.mesh?.materials?.get(0)        var mesh = node.mesh        var meshMaterial = node.mesh?.getMaterial(0) as SceneMaterial        var test_texture = SceneTexture(activity.getDrawable(R.drawable.test_texture))       //var texture_name = "baseColor" //--> exception: baseColor not found        var texture_name = "occlusion" //--> worked and texture is changed        meshMaterial.setTexture(t

Hi Meta Support, I’ve been using my Quest 3 for around 6 months without issue, but recently my **left controller** started drifting. Shortly after, it began triggering inputs on its own (like the grip and trigger), and now it no longer appears in the VR space at all. - It connects fine via Bluetooth.- It shows up in the Meta Quest app.- I can test joystick movement, so pairing works.- But in the headset (XR space), it is completely missing.- I have tried re-pairing, resetting, and changing the battery. Please advise me on how to proceed. I believe this may be a hardware issue.  Thanks in advance!
