Solved

Recentemente, para quem não sabe, o Oculus Home foi excluído.

I did all the suggestions my online friends gave and by watching youtube videos and lastly I did try to get into boot menu by holding down power and volume down button at the same time but, the boot menu did not show up on the VR headset - After doing that, my VR headset will not turn on and no LED light on when plugged into charger and not charging. Please help! I got this quest 2 last year 2023 Christmas gift but been used.

I've been searching around but is there no information about if it's possible to refund IAP to someone who accidentally purchased items in game. Is this possible to do?

My setup. 5090, 9800X3D, fast gen 5 nvme, 6000 CL 30 RAM, official link cable, new B850 MB. All software pretty stock and up to date. Using Oculus app and then launching games from desktop before entering VR. Mainly DCS, Elite Dangerous, MSFS 2020I see lots of YouTubers with similar 5090 rigs pushing Oculus App to the max resolution 1.6x and they seem to be fine. Whenever I push past around 1.4x I get artifacting in game menus. Not sure if I can share yt videos but if you look for a 6 second video called "Oculus Elite menu glitch" (not my video) it shows the glitch I'm talking about. It'll happen if 1 run Oculus app at default res/increase in game rendering, or increase Oculus app resolution/leave in game render at 1.I've tried a combination of debug tool settings and Nvidia control panel settings. Nothing seems to fix this glitching in menus at higher resolutions. Even when lowering in game settings to low, when I try higher resolutions the menus glitch.I can't find much info about thi

I am trying to build my VR (Quest 2) library by adding Steam VR games. Unfortunately, these games require a USB cable or 'air link' to run. I prefer the cable, so I bought a good quality - active - USB 3.x cable to connect my Quest 2 to my Windows 11 PC.Normally my procedure for playing a 'tethered' VR game on my quest 2 is this:1. Plug the cable into my PC's USB 3.2 port and to the Quest 2.1a) Power up the Quest 2 and wait it to boot up.2. Start the Oculus app on the Windows 11 PC. Check that it recognized the Quest 2 headset3. Start Steam. Select the VR game I want to play, then hit Play.4. Put on Quest 2 headset.I see the game starting, but somewhere during game play, everything goes blank and I get the message 'pc disconnected'.So the first thing I did was to place the velcro cable management strap over the Quest 2 band so that it keeps the USB C cable in place. The connection feels good, and wiggling it during game play (when PC link is working) does not disconnect. The spontaneous

Hi, been away for months. Got time this weekend to catch up. Is there a hall of fame page for the recent winning worlds? I tried a few keywords on search like "first place" "winning worlds", etc but the results are just many so i thought maybe it's easier to just ask. Yea i want to visit the winning worlds in the last competition this weekend, thank you !

I used my sim rig with my Oculus 3 link PC all week.  Jumped on tonight and noticed the v76 link update and yep, unplayable.  Repaired the Link software on the PC several times, uninstalled, reinstalled, did a factory reset on the Oculus, still unplayable.  Any suggestions?

I'm wondering that with the drive towards sustainability why don't we have a slot on the device for customers to easily replace wasted headset batteries? Surely it will be better for the environment and reduce electronic waste. Same situation exists with mobile phones. In the past we could replace a battery easily. The technology exists to make customer battery replacement very easy. Should we all be pushing Meta to do more for customers who have exhausted batteries rather than trashing the whole headset and buying a new one or having to return it to service, particularly in countries where local service does not exist. A slot for installing a new battery is technically very simple to do. My device is new so not an issue, but one day this battery will die.

Is the passthrough on Meta Quest 3 clear enough to read documents or code on a computer monitor? I'd like to know from someone who has actually tried it.

Hi everyone,I have hand tracking activated and am trying to record the hand components using the Take Recorder plugin. My goal is to capture hand animations which I can later on apply to a NPC without having to manually animate hand poses. I was able to record animations from the official HandSample when using the controllers to manipulate the hand mesh. But when switching to hand tracking the hand poses are not recorded. Instead, only rotation and position of the hand component are stored in the sequence. I hope I managed to express what I am trying to achieve in a comprehensible manner. Has anyone tried to record hand animations from tracked hands using Take Recorder before and got it running? Or has an idea what I am missing? Thanks for your help!

Can anyone explain how we can get discord to work with the microphone and play games at the same time. Is this possible yet?

I only see the alphaMode in the SceneMaterial constructor, but not in the SceneMaterial.custom function? Not is there a settable property for this? I want objects with some of my custom materials to use the TRANSLUCENT_POST option.

Hi all. Since the last update, my partnter and I can't use the Move, Rotate and Scale tools. We select it and it doesn't appear the arrows, etc. This is a big problem for us, we are trying to participate in the Mobile Contest and we can't make anything. We have tried different backups, reinstall the editor, etc. Not solved it.The game were it happens is The Sepulchre Adventure (tumbak7). Any help please?P.D: This was happening also to more people, in the community discord a guy posted this bug also.

After updating to the v77 system, my Quest 3 has developed an issue where the battery level does not increase when charging while powered off. The only way I can get the battery to charge is by performing a forced restart (holding the power button for 30 seconds). If I shut it down again, even after turning it back on, the battery won't charge unless I force-restart the system. What could be causing this? I’ve tried a factory reset, but it didn’t fix the problem.

Just about every time I wake the headset and connect the Meta Link for PCVR, the floor height in the link app jumps up to chest level. When I quit and go through the convoluted steps to launch the floor height tool, it gets the floor height correct usually in about 1 second. So it's not like it's hard for the headset to do. Then I have to accept and re-launch the Link so it opens with the correct floor height. Is there any way to get the Link app to pay attention to the current floor height without needing to manually set it?Is there a way to launch the floor height tool in one step? A shortcut? Currently the fastest way I've found is to launch the Settings app, scroll up to Search, pick the history item where I searched for it before, then when on the screen that has that I can hit the box-arrow icon to actually launch. Is meta working on a fix for this? It seems like a bug to me.

Hello,I'm experiencing a problem with the World Desktop Editor. Since this morning, the application only shows a black screen upon launch, making it impossible to use.It was working perfectly yesterday. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application, as well as deleting its folders, but the issue persists.

Ok, this feels wierd. I am left handed, strongly, but since using the Quest, I'm finding that choosing the right handed option in games is actually working better for me, as if the sides of brain swap around when using VR. Another I've just noticed is that when using X-Fitness, I am seeing that my scores, like hits, speed, accuracy etc, is better with my right arm/hand than my left. Is this something any other left-handed people have experienced....or am I just wierd ?🤔😁

Strange thing with my Oculus Quest 2 setup.  The setup goes directly to requesting business information and will shut down when I select decline.   Since I am not a business it doesn't make sense why this information is being requested.  Can someone explain please what I should do?

Hey i just bought Real VR Fishing on app and then said purchase failed and I don’t have the game. The app said I would pay $10 (+7 dolar quest cash) , but my credit card was charged $17. After the fail my quest cash is gone too.  Help please

Hello,I just bought a brand new Meta Quest 3. After unboxing, I turned it on using the power button. The initial setup screen appeared, and I clicked on the first tutorial step. At that point, the screen froze with a loud beeping sound and heavy pixelation. This lasted for about 15 seconds before the device shut itself down.Since then, it won’t turn on normally. It only powers on if I manually select “Boot Device” from the boot menu. But even then, it freezes at the same point with the same sound and visual glitch, then shuts down again. I haven’t been able to use the device at all.Any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it? I'm open to trying any troubleshooting steps and can share a video if needed. Thanks in advance!

I have this issue, where bullets will go through players and will not emit the OnProjectileHitPlayer.Gun and ProjectileLauncher are player owned and gun script is local. - When it is just me and NPCs, no issues, NPCs can be hit- I was able to test with 1 other person and didn't have issue (could of been luck)- Once I get like 3 or 4 players, bullets will now go through players, but its like player1 will have certain people that there bullets will hit and certain that will miss. Like it is random for each player.- Haven't seen any issue with static objects.

Referencing this post:there doesn't seem to be a way to set CPU/CPU perf levels in SpatialSDK. Can this be done?

I am having issues connecting my Oculus Go with Meta Horizon app.(1) I have reset my Oculus Go to factory settings.(2) I tried connecting Oculus Go with Meta Horizon app but I am getting stuck on the "Watch Video" related to Health and Safety.  I can't seem to load the videos.  I tried on Android and iOS devices but same results.(3) Due to the issue above, I am not able to complete my setup.  (4) I tried contacting Meta but my serial number for Oculus go is not recognized so I am not able to reach anyone regarding this issue.I realize that Meta is no longer supporting Oculus Go but since I paid a lot money for my device, I would like to use it if possible.Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Hey guys, issue with the Quest 3S, trying to get it working for my PC VR setup and it's been a total nightmare since I got it.I have been trying to diagnose this issue all day. I got the Quest 3S on Black Friday, and it took me about 5 hours to get it connected via the official Meta Cable Link USB-C cable to my computer, which is when this issue began. I have NO idea what I ended up doing that worked, because it randomly interfaced and let me connect to my PC after restarting both it and my computer separately about 30 times. I was very happy, and I had minor issues for 2 days. Come today, I've had nothing but major issues.Essentially, what's going on, is that the computer & software never recognizes that the USB-C cable is plugged in. I have a B650 AORUS Elite AX V2 with the included 10G USB-C port on the back, which is where the Cable Link is plugged into. Funnily enough, the 3S charges and the orange LED turns on, but it doesn't give me the "USB connection" pop-up anymore and th
