Solved

I'm a developer in mainland China and I want to participate in the development of MHCP games, but the Horizon system prompts that it is not currently open to our region. Even if I change VPNs many times and choose VPN nodes in US, it still did't work. Is there any way I can open MHCP games in Horizon?😔

I have managed to replicate this repo to show native texture in VR mode. However, when I switch it to pass-through mode, the texture is not showing.I have dived into it a bit, and found that that's because of the conflict of the pipeline, which makes the native plugin not initialized.I am aware of the recently released Unity-PassthroughCameraAPISamples, but what I was trying to do was showing texture that is not from the local camera.I also knew WebCamTexture, but I wonder if it is possible to show texture not from the local camera.Everything works well in VR mode, here is the log when switching to pass-through mode.2025-07-23 16:42:12.288 2195-2218 BufferQueueProducer com.oculus.vrshell E [SurfaceTexture-115-2195-274](id:893000001ad,api:1,p:1137,c:2195) dequeueBuffer: BufferQueue has been abandoned 2025-07-23 16:42:12.288 1137-1137 CompositionEngine surfaceflinger E ANativeWindow::dequeueBuffer failed for display [com.oculus.andro

Does anyone know of a simple way to sign in?  If I use pass true, the letters do not show up.  I get the resume or quit panel.  If I take the Q3 off and type in the first 2 or three letters and then go back, I get different letters.  There are maybe 12.  I can not remember them all.

When I open the store on my app I get a text screen saying !Error: Relay: Unexpected response payload - check server logs for details.Relay: Unexpected response payload - check server logs for details.Ive tried everything but it still does it.

It would be nice if we could get announcements sent to our preferred email address.

Hello everyone, my question is the following: how do you grab objects and rotate them on a specified axis, like a hinge joint?

I received a new refurbished Quest 3 headset. The first time I use it, the display asks me to remove the protective tabs from the controllers to activate the batteries. But since I'm using the old controllers, they don't have these protective tabs, I can't skip this step and the screen won't move on to the next step. I tried to activate each button, but the screen stays frozen on the image asking me to remove the tabs. How can I move on to the next setup step? Thank you for your help.

I have been working on the new Economy world tutorial from Horizon World Documentation and find that line 82WorldInventory.grantItemToPlayer(player, this.props.lootSKU, this.props.lootCount);doesn't increase the quantity of the in-world item as expected. Here is the screenshots of the setup and debugging console messages:Reference: https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/tutorial-worlds/economy-world-tutorial/module-2-setup

I just updated to the latest version of the Desktop Editor, and now when I try to create a new object in my world, I get this error:  Spawning is not supported for asset type _UnknownValue. I created a new world and tried to see if the issue still occurred, and it did. I also tried restarting the editor, and that did not work. The Desktop Editor is essentially bricked now..

Like many others, I encountered the low memory problem while playing. According to the instructions, I checked that backups were enabled, then deleted the game data, deleted the game and reinstalled it. After that, I followed the link https://secure.oculus.com/my/cloud-backup/ and restored the backup of the saves before deleting. When I launched the game, I saw that it starts from the very beginning and does not see the saves. After that, I tried to restore the saves from the backup many times, but each time I started it, I started from the beginning. What should I do to make the backup work?

So, I took Build Your First Game sample, added a few things there, added a trigger with simple script to change material on an entity. It's not a public world. I published the world, added a few testers and sent invites to them. When I join the world in Quest 3, everything works for me. However, when another tester joins it - I don't see them at all. They don't see my avatar, but they see white label where I spawned (which doesn't move when I move). Trigger and script don't work for them either. We can be on voice call talking , but that's about it.What am I missing ?P.S. I had my Desktop Editor open with my world loaded. I saw one of the testers joining in and I saw his avatar. Then I pushed play button and joined him in the world. Everything worked as expected. However, when we both join from HMDs, we don't see each other (I join via pressing "i" icon, then 3 dots icon on the right and choosing Preview World).

Let's say I want player to attach some entities (items) to its wrist, fingers, arms, head, etc. in-game in runtime (and keep them on from session to session). The items could be hats/helmets, rings, bracelets, etc. from either in-game economy or IAP items. If such thing possible, is there a guide about it ?

Hello, I recently changed countries, so I needed to update my information on Quest Payout.I was told that I could contact the relevant people via Contact Forms >Horizon OS Developer >Payout, as my information had already been entered. However, I keep getting a “No Payout Selected” error. I am the sole developer and have full access to all permissions. I also was logged in with correct facebook account.Does anyone know how to resolve this issue or how to contact Meta Quest through an alternative method?

Hi all,I've found out that with MetaXR's Passthrough API, using Unity, you can access the WebCamTexture to display on, for example, a plane.I'm in need of this feature in my project made using Unreal 5 and the lastest MetaXR plugin yet I cannot find any information or documentation on how to do so. Going through the C++ files I fail to find any references to that system or equivalent. Why is this missing?Kind regards,Stijn Simons

Hello, I have just restarting playing VR after about a month break and now everything is green in color. I have updated my drivers, reseat the rift S, and reseat the display cable connected to the headset. I don't know what else to try. Thanks in advance!

My Meta Quest 3 has an error has just started appearing saying the fan is not functioning properly, followed by an overheating alert. It is out of warranty but has had very limited use during it's lifetime, maybe 100 hours tops.Meta are quoting £224 to replace the entire headset which seems excessive for a fan issue. Does anyone know of a repair path, or this destined for the bin?

Hello,I am very frustrated of meta support but I'm not giving up.Here is my context :I logged out of my account, I forgot my password so I tried to ask a confirmation code to be sent to my email but I don't receive it. I started dealing with Meta helpdesk on the 7th april through case number #*** and it's still not resolved. I have been trying to get my case resolved with them for a month and I'm very tired not getting my problem fixed. The problem I'm facing :- Cannot receive 2FA code to my email account, it is impossible to get it myself.- The META support sending me confirmation codes (8 DIGITS instead of 6 !) that will not work (I keep telling them it doesn't work but they persist with it).Steps I'm following :- Land on auth.meta.com- Click on "continue with email" and enter email- On "Check your email" step it asks me to enter a confirmation code, cannot receive it. I'm stuck there. What I cannot do as a workaround :- I cannot use facebook, my account is unrelated- I cannot used ins

Hi all, my first post here. I am exploring Horizon Worlds and new to the MHCP. I got really excited about the 3D 180 degree video that is in Music Valley and was hoping to explore building a virtual concert of my own, but I do not appear to be able to find any information streaming. All I have come across is this https://www.uploadvr.com/horizon-worlds-now-supports-3d-180-video-for-concerts/Is this an available feature? And if not is there a way to build a relationship with Meta so I can leverage this feature.ThanksSean

I received a new Oculus Go and tried to set it up. It freezes during the security video and won't go any further. I reset the device and reinstalled the app. I have an iOS operating system. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am developing a Meta Quest 3 (v74 for my OS with SDKs version being the lates the time of writing - v72) application in Unity 6 41f1 (and 29f1), where I currently struggle to get the application working past the loading screen (the 3 dots) in on the apk, while in the editor it just works, hovewer I would like to access functions that are not available in the player and even then my target platform in the Meta Quest 3 standalone platform. While running adb logcat -s Unity the result I get this log lines which peek my curiosity:W OpenXR : xrGetVulkanGraphicsDevice2KHR: Called twice. OpenXR : PostSessionStateChange:[pid: 18824] XR_SESSION_STATE_FOCUSED -> XR_SESSION_STATE_VISIBLE OpenXR : PostSessionStateChange:[pid: 18824] XR_SESSION_STATE_VISIBLE -> XR_SESSION_STATE_SYNCHRONIZED OpenXR : PostSessionStateChange:[pid: 18824] XR_SESSION_STATE_SYNCHRONIZED -> XR_SESSION_STATE_STOPPINGHandle cmd APP_CMD_WINDOW_INSETS_CHANGED(17)Handle cmd APP_CMD_GAINED_FOCUS(7)Handl

I'm on Oculus beta branch and yesterday's update has broken compatibility of the OpenXR Toolkit with many games. Have had to revert back to previous version.

Hi, I need help for D-Link air bridge to work with Windows 11 24H2. I remembered that it worked with 23H2 before upgraded 24H2, and I could not find the D-Link air bridge device in the network device list.  So I performed to the factory reset to my D-Link Air bridge. After the factory reset and tried to add the bridge back and I got the initialization error with the following screenshots:  I checked my device manager and I found:Two adaptors were created and I assumed that it should be one.  And, checked my network devices:The Microsoft network device was not created for the D-Link air bridge.I have googled D-Link air bridge related issues, and tried to unplugged/plugged bridge, and no help at all.  I even uninstalled/installed Meta Quest link app and no help.  I also even reinstalled Windows 11, no help[ neither.Any suggestion? Thanks.

I'm developing an Immersive App for Meta Quest using the Meta Spatial SDK in Android Studio with R8 minification enabled. When building a signed APK, I encounter the following error:Missing classes detected while running R8. I am facing an error when adding [Multiplayer Block] NetworkedAvatar (ver. 38.0.1) into the scene. The error is associated with a script which seems to be missing from package. The error is triggered in AvatarEntitiy.cs (line 173).var animationBehavior = GetComponent<OvrAvatarAnimationBehavior>(); animationBehavior.enabled = true;I also tried installing 35.2.0 but getting other errors. I believe the AvatarEntity code is built on some older version of AvatarSDK which earlier had class OvrAvatarAnimationBehaviour.

Is there any way to get Gen AI to generate seamless textures? At least on a hexagon I can't get it to work.
