My headset wont turn on and wont even charge its just black it wont even go to the menu to factory reset it please someone help

This morning, my device was updated to v78.1027, but strangely, none of the new functions of v77 were pushed to my device, just as if it had not been updated. Even if it was updated to v78, no new functions appeared.

I am having trouble with the Meta Quest 3 while recording, streaming, and even casting videos. The video area appears very high. I have to look down to show the lower part of the view. i even tried to casting on phone, TV, PC (web base) and LIVE streaming. its all the same view, its too high.Edit : i already tried reset the headset twice. and the problem is still there.i leave a video for you to see the different. i use scrcpy to record in pc.Link Video : https://youtu.be/YC3VWx03MBM

Hi Guys,Lately I have been ran into some issues when trying to integrate Tone-mapping into our Oculus-VR project. We are currently on the 5.5 Oculus VR fork but with the Mobile HDR turned off for bettery performance. My question is, the post-processing volume doesn't seem to be working even I execute the following command:r.Mobile.TonemapSubpass=1Unreal Tone Mapping for Oculus the post processing doesn't seem to be affecting the scene. And when I turned on the Mobile HDR the Post processing start to work.So I wonder if the ToneMap Subpass requried to have the Mobile HDR On or am I doing something wrong?

What I want is for the UI to be visible over all 3D geometry (ignoring depth) BUT at the same time have the line-casts and the controllers visible over that UI.[ UI Panel ] | [3D World Mesh] | o------ [Hands or controllers]With underlay the UI Panel is not visible, culled by the 3D Mesh. With overlay, the controllers and lines are covered by the UI.My solution, but awful for performance:Using URP stacked cameras, the UI and controllers are rendered over everything. Again performance tanks with this method but it's exactly what I want.Possible solution:Underlay transparent but ignoring depth... hard to test as it requires making a custom shader. I can set controllers to 4000 render queue and transparent and they do render over everything.

0Actualice el metalink y me parece esta pantalla cuando conecto por cable he comprobado cable. He desinstalado oculus home , y borrado todas las carpetas.

Everything was OK until two days ago. I was able to use air link and my headset without any problem. But suddenly air link was crashed and after that Meta Quest Link software in my PC did not work. First, I tried to restart my PC and headset, but nothing changed. Then I decided to repair the app. The app was completely removed and the download started from scratch. But the download stops when it reaches 2.14 GB. I tried many times but no success. I disabled antivirus apps, deleted all the files related Oculus, restarted modem... But nothing changed, every time it stops at 2.14 GB and says check connection. I have internet connection.Below you can see my setup log. [Debug] [12/25/2024 13:18:00] Reusing previously-downloaded '27ea69deb641ec13f746b7a5d38ce7575f89ec54e916eab9b141e7ef27d22428'.[Warning] [12/25/2024 13:18:00] Download attempt 1 failed!System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connec

It seems the pointer max distance is limited. Is there a way to increase this value, in order to be able to select ui items from a panel that is very large or far away for example ? Thx

Still says "coming soon." Is it available yet?

Hi everyone! So I am making this thread to raise visibility for child Meta accounts not being able to add their parents or a trusted account as a friend and vice-versa.   If this situation does apply to you, please let me know of the following so I can get this info looked into. Which headset version are you currently running? You can check this in Quick Settings > Settings > Software Update > under the Current Version Details section. The formatting should be 60.#.#.###.###.######### or 62.#.#.###.###.#########. Are any of you currently enrolled in the PTC? If so, is it for the headset, PC app, or both? Can you let me know the mobile app version, along with the OS for the phone? Which headset are you using? Has anyone been able to add their child/parent as a friend from some workaround? Also, if you guys see any other threads with this problem as their main topic, please feel free to link them in the replies; I'll want to look over them if possible.

I have downloaded a game on my new Quest 3 called 'Aim XR' but when I play it I am unable to pick up guns and object as I cannot see my hands.  I CAN see my hands if I put the controllers behind my head, then my arms are visible but my hands and bent right back against my forearms. What am I doing wrong, and how do I fix it as other people in the game are relying on my to offer them cover if they are shot at my the enemy. Please help a newbie.

I cannot connect to any meta apps, including casting, meta store, horizons or even installing apps like gorilla tag. The browser works and takes me to any website I want to visit. Internet is connected and working fine but no matter what I do thru meta apps or features including AI it gives me a network connection error.

Hello everyone! My question is: Do I need earphones to use META QUEST 3S or does it work without earphones?THANK YOU!

It seems like the NPC Gizmo does not respect the nav meshes that get baked when using navigation volumes and there is no way to specify nav profiles on the NPC Gizmo. This seems like a major limitation, so I wanted to spark up a thread and see if this was something Meta was planning to change in the future.

I am experiencing a perplexing issue where my Meta Quest 3's IPD randomly shifts.I have updated my Quest 3 to v78 via the official stable release channel, not the Public Test Channel (PTC). Despite not touching the IPD dial, the display frequently shows "min" for the IPD, appearing randomly every 5 minutes to an hour. This occurs even though I haven't set it to the minimum value or manipulated the dial. When "min" appears, if I adjust the dial even slightly, it immediately returns to my correctly set IPD of 61mm. However, after another random period, "min" reappears on the display.I've seen reports of this issue on Reddit, suggesting it might not be an isolated problem specific to my device. The other user who reported this also confirmed they were on the official stable update, not the PTC.

Hi,on v74 it was simple to stack activities into an immersive Panel (just start new activites from the one in the panel). With the v76 it doesn't behave like that anymore, it opens new activities in the home environment. Since v74 is based on Android 12 and v76 on Android 14, I assume launching activities on top of the other in a panel may have changed. Sadly couldn't find the solution, nor any clear documentations. Can somebody give me a hint 😉  Thx in advance.

I'm in shock right now as I accidentally deleted my published world from Worlds. I've been told I need to contact someone with SVR Level Access and the quicker I do it the better. The world was called Starry Townlet. Please if anyone can help me urgently I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Just want to start off by saying as someone who used to watch all the virtual reality adverts for the quests when I was younger, I was excited to buy one and even more so to play one in future to play games on a gaming pc. Fast forward now I'm 20, finally got both, and to my utter disappointment my dreams were shattered right infront of me as I opened the game I'd waited years to play, PC CONNECTED TO A WIFI EXTENDER VIA ETHERNET BY THE WAY; to be greeted  by constant spinning. I don't have drift, but everytime I point my controllers at the desktop it keeps spinning around and bugging out, only when I do something that takes the pointers off the screen is when it stops.I'm just curious is this just poor people repellent, is the quest 2 now just being turned into junk while quest 3 is out to force people to buy it? Because if so, I'm extremely and utterly disappointed with the company and it's practices. I looked for a solution and I cannot find any besides people talking about eth

Does anyone know if there is a problem with the world insight stats (and a timeline for fixing it?)I understand that there is supposed to be a two day delay but for at least the last week it has been four days.I've been using leaderboards as a hack to track basic user stats but I am not entirely sure if they are immediately updated.

I have an asset pool in a sublevel that adds a button that brings up a CustomUI form that returns the user to a home spawn point. When I test the sublevel, all works as expected. However, when I load it from my toplevel, I get "Found an object with an invalid reference on variable 'spawnPoint'". Any suggestions?

my VR is stuck in a state which he is powered on and sound is coming out of the headset but i can only see a slight light coming through.does anyone know a way to solve this?, i tried everything the USB menu did not work pressing the on/off button did not do much.if you have found a way to fix this please tell me

I've recently had problems with my orientation flipping, standalone quest 3s, I will be happy to give info and factory reset my headset. https://youtube.com/shorts/EwijFOlKL8Q?feature=share

Hello... I'm hoping someone can help me out please? My controller's have stopped working on my oculus quest 2... they flash & vibrate every 5 seconds... I've tried multiple things but to no avail ☹️ PLEASE HELP!!!

VRChat for some reason keeps giving me that error and it won't load after that. I can't even press the "Okay" button. Is this an issue that many people are experiencing, or is it just me? The error then proceeds by saying that I need to use a PC and a cable to play VRChat with quest link. I've done that and I can play it, but the point is that I want to play VRChat without my PC so I can play anywhere, and this error keeps blocking me from doing that. Is there a fix to this issue? if so how? (I've tried reinstalling, using my phone hotspot, restarting the device)
