*** I know it should not be posted here but there's no forum for the glasses *** There appears to be a major issue with the AI backend where the pictures sent for analysis are mixed-up.The results returned are clearly from other people's pictures. When expecting to translate a printer toner box markings, I was returned content describing an "grandpa birthday card" with description of the text and drawings included on it. Totally incorrect content was returned to me of many occasions this afternoon. Please investigate urgently.

Hello, I'm sure I've done something wrong or missed something, but I'm trying to get my entitlement check working and I'm having a heck of a time.  A bit of background:I've downloaded and compiled the latest Unreal Engine github forkI've built my project and it works and everything is compiling and happyI made a Game Instance blueprintI've tried to drag out an Entitlement pin, and Unreal Engine finds nothing. When I download the MetaXRPlatform (Version 65.0)The Engine starts up with this error:The 'OculusPlatform' plugin was designed for build 5.3.0. Attempt to load it anyway?and when I press Yes it gives me another error:The following modules are missing or built with a different engine version:   OVRPlatform Engine modules cannot be compiled at runtime. Please build through your IDE. Do I need to compile something else somewhere?  Please help! JP

I'm using Meta's fork of Unreal Engine 4.5.3 and I am using Interaction SDK.I tried to set up an actor to be grabbed, using the InteractionSDK, but whenever I pinch my object, the app crashes. The documentation is very vague on how to set it up, and I tried to copy the Hierarchy from the sample project, but I don't know what is causing the crash. I'm testing in a packaged app on my Quest Pro. The sample project does work as intended.I just added a BoxCollision to the actor IsdkInteractableWidget, and as a child to the BoxCollision, I added IsdkGrabbable component. As well as a IsdkGrabbableAudio. The widget does work with hand to poke and do raytrace interactions, so I am confident in the IsdkHandRigComponentRight and Left components.

I'm trying to find the official oculus and oculus store logo asset files (complying with https://developer.oculus.com/distribute/publish-brand-guidelines/) but it looks like the zip folder with all logos that oculus used to have available on their documentation is no longer there. Does anyone know where I can find those files and does anyone at Oculus know that this is no longer available?

Hello everyone, my problem is that the room mesh doesn't update. I want the room mesh to be updated, everytime my application is started again. However, it seems like the mesh loaded from the first time is always reused and doesn't update, even when I update the application. How I update: I build an AR app (.apk file) on my laptop with Unity and deploy it to my Meta Quest 3 headset, which overrites the previous .apk file. What I see: a flickering mesh all over the place of the "original room", even when I go to a neighbouring room, it shows the mesh of the first room (it's like looking through a wall). I followed the set up instructions and my "Hello World" and first tries worked properly. For my current version I am Using the following building blocks: Camera RigPassthroughScene MeshMR Utility KitScene DebuggerAs you can guess I am quite new to Meta Horizon Development. I've been stuck on this problem for quite a while now. Any tips/advice/recources to res

I'm trying to instantiate both a SnapInteractable and SnapInteractor from code. After both objects are instantiated, I want to then attach the interactor to the interactable. Here's a demo video to demonstrate what I'm going for: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/zcpshr4bjw2okacy0ae29/2024-03-13-at-12.49.17.mp4?rlkey=so0s0r316vykvir8u0eq743ja&dl=0The only way I can get the interaction to occur is by using my hand to grab the interactor, and place it near the interactable.I've tried setting the position via code (hoping proximity would trigger a snap interaction), but no luck.I've also tried using the following code but no luck there either.interactable.AddSelectingInteractor(interactor);interactor.Select();  Any ideas?

A little guilty posting two questions in as many days, but worst case others may find them on a search and hopefully stop a future question. I am still following the hello world tutorial on the meta site, and instead of describing how to install these plugins (  which if i recall they used to walk new users through )  the new setup project tool does it for you..  awesome if it worked for me!    ( and it configured 10 other things which is a massive improvement so very cool tool )  i get these two left behind, that the tool couldn't do.   "either the oculus xr or openxr plugin package must be installed through the package manager""The XR plug-in Management package must be installed"My old friend google isnt helping, so started looking for the plugins in the Unity asset store, but again no such luck..  Anyone got any ideas what they are so I can manually install them myself, or what may be blocking the tool doing

Meta XR Simulator doesn't connect to Synthetic Environment Server (SES) in Unity 6 Preview (6000.0.0f1) (on Windows 11) in Play mode. But it works if Build and Run. In this case there are two windows: Meta XR Simulator and the Game window. Why is that, could I fix it on my own or have I to wait for Meta SDK update?

I have a problem using the meta sdk virtual keyboard in Unity. When the OVRCameraRig is set to Eye Level, the Meta SDK virtual keyboard works fine. However, when it is set to Floor Level, the raycaster and hands don't work properly when pointing at the keyboard. If I press on the canvas or other objects, the raycaster and hands are positioned correctly, so I believe the problem lies in how the keyboard's inputs are set.

I am getting the issue in unity 2023 and when i am building and launching the app directly by selecting build and run in unity with sdk set to 33 it launches perfectly. But when i am uploading it to the hub it says the minimum requirement is 32. So when i switch to sdk 32 then the build fails as some require sdk 33 for compilation. Any solution for this ? I am using Firebase and open xr.

Hello Community,I have the following problem:I created an unity project with only the colocation building block (and all the dependent building blocks) and Auto Matchmaking Building Block. I also uploaded the apk into the dashboard, created a new channel and added three test users to the channel. On the two headsets I logged in with two different test users. But when the second headset tries to load the shared spatial anchor I get: "Failed to share the spatial anchor" error message on the first device. My fear is, that it is impossible (only for testing purpose) to build an Unity Application with Meta's Colocation Building Block without having a verfied organization in the Meta Quest Dashboard.

hi! I am a part of a team developing a game for VR and i just got a Quest 2 to test development. I downloaded the Meta Quest Developer Hub app to my desktop and I cannot successfully log into my meta account via my browser.  Whenever I click the button to 'Log in with a Meta account' on the desktop hub app, when it opens my google chrome browser it brings me to this error page that reads 'quest.meta.com redirected you too many times' (see screenshots)  log in button   error page that pops up   I have tried to delete browsing data (cookies, history, etc) and it gets me farther into the process but when I finally reach the end of the log in process the same error screen pops up..   I get past two SMS code verification code screens and then when this one is loading it fails again and brings me back to the 'redirected too many times' error screen - if i delete browsing data I can get just as far over and over but never past t

Really hope Meta can see this as I cannot update any metadata for my app.  Setting an asset and clicking save results in the following: GraphQL server responded with error 1675030: Error performing query.Error Code1675030Trace IDD56dQgYyQYY Please fix soon!  thanks.

Imma keep this as short as possible.I got a new 5GHz / 2.4GHz router so I could use Oculus Air Link without it stuttering every five seconds (my previous router only had 2.4GHz). When I try connect to my PC it just says "searching for device" but cannot find the PC. I have been troubleshooting and looking at forums and reddit posts for the past few days but none of the advices I have found so far have helped me. I found out that if both devices [the PC(in this case an old laptop I found) and the Quest 2] are connected to Wi-Fi, instead of the PC being connected to Ethernet, Air Link can find the Device and it works without problem. But my PC doesn't have a Wi-Fi adapter, and even if it did I do not want to use Wi-Fi on my PC for Air Link. Here's a list of everything I have done to try and fix this issue: Turn both devices off and on again Turn Air Link on both devices off and on again Uninstall the Quest app and install it again Turn off my Firewall Port forward the port 5669 Change so

Hi all, I'm using the TrackedKeyboard sample scene (Oculus/VR/Scenes/TrackedKeyboard) to test the tracked keyboard SDK.I can connect my physical keyboard successfully and see it in the scene. However, I can't focus on the input field and type anything. Those are the issues I've encountered:* Clicking the input won't show the caret* After clicking the input, typing with the connected keyboard won't type anything into the input.* I can use the physical keyboard to interact with other UI elements in the scene (checkboxes, buttons)* If I check "Requires System Keyboard," I can use the system keyboard to type into the input. However, there is still no caret, and it seems like the input is not focused. Attaching some gifs to demonstrate the above symptoms:https://imgur.com/X0xKrzqhttps://imgur.com/fuMn0sOI've tried the solution that was suggested in this thread, but still no luck.Any ideas?

Update January 2024 - full post history below Hi. Let me try to give a quick TLDR summery.   Since the launch of the Quest 3, numerous users have encountered difficulties with their Wi-Fi connections related to wireless PCVR. A notable bug affects certain mid-range AX and AXE routers, such as TP-Link's AXE75, leading to significant packet losses and varying negotiation rates. Consequently, connection speeds fluctuate between 480 and 1921 Mbps, occasionally reaching 2161 Mbps but rarely achieving the full 2401 Mbps speed.   In contrast, the Quest 2 maintains a stable 1200 Mbps on 5GHz dedicated networks. However, on release, the Quest 3 struggled to reach 720 Mbps, with speed fluctuations occurring every other second.   Meta was promptly notified of this issue on launch day and has been working on resolving it through build updates. Versions v.57 to v.60 have seen a dramatic reduction in negotiation rates, making wireless VR "usable" under certain conditions, particular

Hi, I was doing stuff with the oculus link and when I stopped playing with the helmet and when I unplugged it, I had no sound on my computer. I tried a lot of things but it didn’t work. please help me

When using any of the newest SDKs for unity v68/69 the game scene moves uncontrollably all over the place but ONLY WITH HIGH GPU USAGE. This is the most interesting bug I had ever encountered, it can sometimes appear with 72hz as gpu usage is fairly low but skyrockets to all the time when using 120hz due to different gpu usage. Please take a look at it as its driving me crazy , thanks. I can provide all the logs I canhttps://youtube.com/shorts/6_L4EsU9SMY

Hello, I'm trying to use Unity UI Scroll with UIButtons inside, but i can't get em to work with the controllers, but its working fine with hands gesture. The problem is with the sensitivity of the button to unselect, like if I can hold the controller without shaking its possible to selected but the normal use, the simple act of pressing the controller you move a little and the MetaQuest only registe the scroll movement and not the click.

Hi there:I'm excited to try the Meta Spatial Editor. I got it to install just fine in Mac but am receiving an error in Windows. Specifically, "This application requires the Windows App Runtime Verion 1.5." (see attached). I've gone to the link, installed 1.5 and 1.6. I still receive this error. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. Any help is gratefully appreciated!

I got the V9 update but why did you remove the female voice?  I would think in the United States with discrimination laws on everything you would ensure that we had the female voice.  As an old woman I feel more comfortable listening to a female voice.  So what gives?  And I wish there was a simple way to record what I'm seeing and hearing to better troubleshoot because Once I ask Meta to record, Meta doesn't respond until I stop recording.  And Screen Record on phone doesn't pick up any external sounds.  I need help with this.

So I used oculus link with the cable and had perfectly fine audio 1 week ish ago. Well today there is no audio coming from the headset. My PC had no clue there is audio capability in the device. I do not mean the audio is disabled. I checked the disabled devices and it is not there. I re-installed everything. Forgot the quest 2 and found it again. And there is still no "oculus virtual audio device" When there was a week earlier. All I want is for my PC to find it again.    The "Learn more" Button brought me here and I do not see others with this issue. So Oculus software knows there is an issue, it just isn't helping me fix it.

I am using the Meta XR Interaction SDK in a Unity mixed reality app. I have cube setup with a SnapInteractor and aa snap point with a SnapInteractable. I have code running for the "When Select" event with an InteractableUnityEventWrapper, but I need to reference the Interactor that has been snapped to the Interactable. I don't see a way to do this in the documentation. What am I missing / is there a reliable work around if it is not officially supported? Thanks

I have a lot of issues with immutable folders in the new Meta SDK packages.I tried different things to but the error keeps coming back in different projects.I first installed Meta Core SDK, I installed 4 building blocks. XR rig, passthrough, controller and hands building block. After this I imported the Meta interaction SDK and get this error:Saving Prefab to immutable folder is not allowed: Packages/com.meta.xr.sdk.interaction.ovr/Editor/Blocks/Interactors/Prefabs/[BB] Hand Ray.prefabUnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallGlobalEventHandler ()  This is driving me crazy, I tried different ways, even deleting the packagecache but it keeps coming back.
