Hi everyoneI have a problem with the "Meta XR SDK" package! Now I have installed "Meta XR SDK" and "Meta Avatars SDK" packages for my Unity project and there are currently no error messages. But when I run the program now, this message appears: "Help to Improve Meta SDKs"And every time I click on the "send usage a statistics" button, but this message appears again the next time I run it.I go to Edit > Preferences > Meta XR > Telemetry in the main menu and want to check the Telemetry option, but it cannot be selected! How can I fix this?

I'm trying to use a multicast dns library (zeroconf protocol) to register the quest 3 device in the local network.I've tried the following methods in Unity:Importing this library: https://github.com/jdomnitz/net-mdns; seems to work on the editor when hitting the play button, but not when building the app on the quest 3.So I thought maybe it was that the library not being compatible with Android, so I implemented this other library as a java plugin: https://github.com/jmdns/jmdns.This plugin seems to execute correctly looking the logcat, but it wont publish the service even though I don't get any errors, using this code:public void startService(String serviceType, String serviceName, int port, String serviceDescription) { try { InetAddress address = InetAddress.getLocalHost(); jmDNS = JmDNS.create(address); ServiceInfo serviceInfo = ServiceInfo.create(serviceType, serviceName, port, serviceDescription); jmDNS.registerService(serviceInfo);

The qustion may appears stupid, but I wonder what exactly means the "use per eye cameras" in OVRCameraRig.Since it is not enabled by default, I can't imagine the game will use only one camera for both eyes, because it would not be stereoscopic view and the VR experience would be out ouf interest. I did test with an without use per eye option, I can't see any difference. Anyone?

Hello,I am building an architectural visualization app for meta quest devices using Unity 2022 and Meta Interaction SDK v68. I am using realtime lighting where the user is able to manipulate the time of the day using a slider in real time to see how their apartment would look under different light conditions. No matter what light / shadow setting I set, in the headset build the shadows look blocky and pretty hideous. I made sure to:- Remove the window glasses with transparent material which could have affected the quality of the light coming through,- Adjusted URP settings to have highest resolution shadows, adjusted the cascades to make sure highest quality shadows within 25 meters, - Adjusted the light / skylight settings to make sure I have highest shadow quality and soft shadows. When I manipulate the direction of the directional light in the editor, I get flawless shadows: But as you can see above, the build one suffers from blocky, glitchy looking light.I would be g

How can I get if the user is playing on a quest 2 or a quest 3 in a unity script? I have Platform SDK installed if that matters.

I am reaching out from China as a developer facing a persistent challenge with the organization's admin account verification process. Despite adhering strictly to the provided instructions and ensuring that the photo submissions of my ID are of high clarity, my attempts at verification continue to be unsuccessful.I made many attempts, but I have no idea what I should change. Because from my point of view, it seems that my picture already satisfied all the requirements.I hope someone can give me a helping hand. Thank you!

My mom got me a 20€ Gift card so that I could get Waltz Of The Wizard, but the code never popped up in my email or spam folder. She didn’t even typo my email address. ..*Bleep*?

Hi all,Since ~2020, I've been using the Meta (Oculus) SDK tool to create a Virtual Experience on Unity. But recently I had a very frustrating experience. In my development process, I faced some deprecated features which are replaced by another, that didn't work.(E.g. "Throw when ungrab" feature from the Grabbable component)I decided to upgrade my package from the 66 version to the 68.Now I have a lot of errors and warnings. My app doesn't function at all.Why don't you leave some components with the "Deprecated", or "Legacy" tag, and suggest what is better to use instead?I even can't use your own prefab "OVRInteractionComperhensive", as it has broken scripts. Also, the documentation is deprecated, because it is related to the oldest version of SDK.Should I downgrade SDK back to 66? Or maybe someone faced with more nice solutions?Unity version: 2022.3.32f1Thanks in advance and best regards.

The MetaXR plugin is broken for the latest on ue5-main branch (commit 7b00eca). Some part of the core VR integration was changed by Epic.  Even though it should all be going through OpenXR.A beta MetaXR plugin for UE 5.4 would be nice.

Hi, I'm trying to add new users to the ALPHA channel of our Quest store app. When inviting them they are immediately listed as "Subscribed users" but they do not receive a notification and the game does not show up in their library. Is it possible that a recent change has introduced this bug on the dashboard? Other developers confirmed that it happened to them as well in the last week.Thank you for your help.Best,Stefan

Hey guys. I am currently working on a Side project. My aim is to create a Submarine control expeirence in Unity using the Meta XR SDK.Now I have a prefab of a Cockpit that I spawn using the spatial anchor.I want to have an intractable on it that I can grab with my hand (Hands Controls only btw.) which represents a typical  Plane throttle "leaver" which the user can slide  forwards and back.Sadly, I have no clue how to do this as I'm not deep into the Meta XR SDK and cannot find any information about this topic, let alone know where to start looking 😕Apart from that, I want to create a a leaver too that can go left and right as a means to Control the submarines Yaw axis. (this I can figure out by myself tho... I hope 😄 )I'd be glad if anyone can help me out and explain it to me ❤️ Thanks a Lot

I created a UI. When I scrolled the scrollview with a ray, once the ray went beyond the range of the UI panel, the scrollview would immediately bounce back to a wrong position. Then I tried to look at the official Demo. In the ComprehensiveRigExample.unity Demo, the Scrollview still had this problem.

Hi, my Oculus Quest 2 headset is saying low memory, but I have heaps of memory. It is making it so I can not play my game. What is causing this problem or does anyone have any solutions.

Hello everyone. I have developed a game and I was using meta quest link to test it. Now I want to do build and run. But when I do it my meta quest 2 is not detected. I have installed adb but still facing this issue. Any suggestion is appreciated. When I try to select a device in run device in build settings, it displays 'Build and run' and 'Build to devices' are disabled while querying for android devices.Thank You.

I am simply trying to open the sample scenes that originally came with your now deprecated "Meta XR Interaction SDK OVR Samples". The README that is one of the three files I am given when trying to download that package says all the scenes were simply moved over to the Meta XR Interaction SDK.Ok, so surely when I import the (freshly updated, not deprecated) Meta XR Interaction SDK package all the scenes that originally came with the now Deprecated package (that you could once upon a time just click on the scene and have everything loaded and ready), will be available there for me to easily access and open as YOUR documentation suggests, right?Nope!Instead ALL of the scenes have been broken down into their smallest parts, so if I wanted to recreate the experience I had before I would have to go about wiring EVERYTHING together on my own to even have a semblance of the Scenes your team originally developed. (Reminder, you used to be able to just click on a scene from the package, and boo

Hi, I got the Meta XR Simulator working a few days ago, but now it crashes Unity every time I enter Play Mode. I have not changed anything significant between the time it was working and not working, so I don't know what could have caused the sudden change. General Info: - Meta Packages being used: Core SDK, Interaction SDK, Interaction SDK Essentials, MR Utility Kit, Haptics SDK- OpenXR version 1.11.1-exp.1- Oculus XR Plugin 4.2.0- Unity version 2022.3.30f1- Meta XR Simulator installed through Homebrew because I am on a MacEditor Log:Link to Google DocIf anyone has any ideas as to what the problem might be, please let me know.

I am using the github fork. My project was made in 5.3.2. Project was running fine on the quests.I have updated the engine to the latest version oculus-5.4 from the oculus github. When packaging I get a lot of cooking errors, for example:UATHelper: Packaging (Android (ASTC)): LogCook: Error: Content is missing from cook. Source package referenced an object in target package but the target package was marked NeverCook or is not cookable for the target platform.UATHelper: Packaging (Android (ASTC)): Source package: /Game/MSPresets/M_MS_Decal_Material_VT/M_MS_Decal_Material_VTUATHelper: Packaging (Android (ASTC)): Target package: /Bridge/MSPresets/MSVTTextures/WhitePlaceholderUATHelper: Packaging (Android (ASTC)): Referenced object: /Bridge/MSPresets/MSVTTextures/WhitePlaceholder.WhitePlaceholderi found this forum post , and trying to solve it. 😉To get the project working with 5.4.2. I had to (see Notes, has nothing to do with the cooking errors)Note:  After migrating to 5.4.2.

For some reason all passthrough scenes on my device only let you see this blue background. I'm still getting the room data but can't actually see anything. This use to work until recently.

Hello, I'm trying to implement an Outline Post Processing shader. I've found a simple graph shader that uses "full screen pass renderer feature" and the video is here. In the project I'm utilizing Meta's All-in-One SDK with passthrough and Meta's Depth API. Everything seems to work fine in Scene and Game mode with link. However, when I build the project the objects shift around and go undesired places while disabling the passthrough.   I figured that the outlines seem to be in the correct location but the rendering of the red cube is moving around. I have been trying to debug it but could not find the reason causing this issue. I am not sure if these screenshots would help but here there are anyways.

The title pretty much says it, but when using the Leaderboards Client API any test accounts aren't showing up in the resulting LeaderboardEntryList. The LeaderboardEntryList shows the TotalCount correctly, but the entries returned only show actual players. So if I have 19 Total Entries and 17 are test accounts, the LeaderboardEntryList with show the Total Count of 19, but only provide a LeaderboardEntryList of Count 2.This seems to have happened in the recent past so I'm not sure what has caused this issue. Using the Leaderboards Server API gives the correct response.Have settings changed where the TestUsers can't be used for Leaderboard testing? Or is there a workaround until this is fixed?

Hello, I want to use system keyboard to type in unity text mesh pro input field. when i clicked in input field some time  it open native keyboard and sometime not (I am using meta quest 3). Is it know bug to meta quest 3 ? In Oculus quest 2 it working fine. I have enabled required system keyboard and set target device to Quest 3 also in OVRManager script.I have also checked my AndroidManifest file and found there is entry of <uses-feature android:name="oculus.software.overlay_keyboard" android:required="false" />My Unity ver is 2022.3.19f1.So what is the problem? Its very frustrating to continue click on input field then some times it only.

I brought an oculus quest 2 used from eBay. which come without the controller.so I try to set up Oculus quest 2. I download the mobile app and follow the instruction.  because I don't have a controller, the initial setup screen did not allow me to pass the initial setup screen without pairing the controller. so I active the developer option and connect through ADB (platform tools). I search online and find something like adb -s {device_id} shell getpropand I get all the list of properties. Can anybody tell me which value I need to modify or need to add the system properties so that the oculus thing/understannd that the initial controller setup is done. I already set up xbox controller as well.because there is a hand tracking option so I want to use the hand tracking option I think I can activate it by using a mouse. Note: Nybies please don't reply.  this section is only if you are an expert and know-how to work with ADB and shell and android. Don't ask me why I don't

@ links to membersHi MetaQuest developers! Have you been able to add keywords tags (metadata) to your app since moving from the AppLab to the horizon store? In the Meta Horizon email we received, they say we should be able to do it once on the store but this is not the case for me. Thanks in advance for your invaluable input.
