Solved

I would like to preface this post by saying that I've tried practically everything you can dig up online. Through hours of research, multiple factory resets of my headset and PC both... I could not get Quest Link to work regardless of my efforts. This has driven me to borderline insanity.I bought my Quest 3S (128gb) headset on Black Friday of 2024, about a week and a half ago from the time of posting this. Since I got the headset, I've been trying to set up PCVR but for whatever reason, I am not able to connect my headset, but for my life I am unable to get connected both through the Link cable and Air Link, and I've been stuck on the screens pictured below. The problem is, when I get into VR to sync it with my PC, my PC does not show up on the list, and I'm stuck on "Searching for PCs..." in the VR interface, forever. I followed the steps on the page properly. I navigated to enable Link, tried with the Link cable, no dice. Tried the same with Air Link, changing the settings appropriate

My Son got a headset for Christmas. He does not have a FB account so it is under my name. We would like to add an user account for him we generate the 6 digit code enter it in on the mobile device. Says connected. Then get the error message to try again. We have attempted this multiple times with the same result.

I am developing a MR application in Unreal and want to use the Launch Capture Scene Blueprint node which is part of the MRUKSubsystem. The Unreal engine that I use is the Meta fork, more specifically the oculus-5.4.4-release-1.103.0-v71.0. I have enabled Scene support in the Unreal Engine and Spatial data over Meta Quest Link in the Meta Quest Link application. When I try to capture a scene it always fails. More specifically, the following function call inside EOculusXRAnchorResult class fails: FOculusXRHMDModule::GetPluginWrapper().RequestSceneCapture(&sceneCaptureRequest, &OutRequestID);  And returns ovrpFailure_NotInitialized (-1002) I cannot dig deeper because the OVRPlugin.dll has no debug symbols. Does somebody know how to fix this? Or has some insight on how to troubleshoot this further? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am looking for a way to send small vibration as a haptic feedback on my 2D panel app whenever user hovers their raycast over a UI element, and stronger vibration when they tap on that element.In unity, we can do something like:XRBaseControllerInteractor.SendHapticImpulse(0.2f, 0.1f);how to achieve similar effect in Jetpack? val hapticFeedback = LocalHapticFeedback.current Button(onClick = { hapticFeedback.performHapticFeedback(HapticFeedbackType.LongPress) //nothing happens }) { Text("pick a file") }

Meta Quest 3S. Trying to find a manual or instructions on how to play the game. Thanks

Hi, I am trying to follow along with the installing Meta XR/VR plugin, but when I use the GitHub links posted there I always get 404 errors, I have fully verified my developer account, but still no joy, any suggestions would be appreciated.   here is the link from the page - Oculus-VR fork

I am submitting a fully MR only app to Meta Quest store early access and I am getting rejection due to the app failing VRC.Quest.Functional.9 : The user's forward orientation is not reset when the Oculus Home button is long-pressed.I have selected the tracking origin to be Floor and enable Allowed Recenter on OVR Manager, yet I am still getting this rejection. Also, I feel that this should be an requirement for a fully MR app since all the objects in the scene are tracked to user's space and should be change or be recentered. Anyone know what do I need to do to fulfil the requirement? For more context, I am using MRUK to detect user's space.

Hello. I bought new Quest 3s. It was packed nobody opened it. I connected it to my son's account. My son is 24 years old. So he is adult. But we cannot find how to get free Batman. No codes, no emails, when we look at game in meta shop we can only buy it at full price...

I know this issue is on the Microsoft side, but it also pertains to people in these forums.Today I tried to install the "Mixed Reality Link (Preview)" app from the Microsoft Store (aka.ms/MRLink, or here for details in a browser). Even though my PC meets the system requirements, the "Get" button is greyed out.   It seems that more people are having the same issue when trying to install the app.On my first try, I had Bluetooth disabled, and the page said my PC didn't meet the requirements. I enabled Bluetooth and restarted Microsoft Store, and even though later it said it meets the requirements (as per the screenshot above), the "Get" button is still greyed out.I already visited the following pages, but could not find any information that could help me solve this issue:https://www.meta.com/blog/quest/meta-quest-v72-update-remote-desktop-hand-tracking-keyboard-more/https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/in-vr-experiences/oculus-features/mixed-reality-meta-quest/&nbs

Welcome to the Oculus Developer Forum

Currently my app can't running when tracking disabled. But i see that some apps an work when tracking disabled. I wonder how to do it? How to add ability to running app when tracking disabled?

I've enabled checkbox "Allow Optional 3DoF Head Tracking" in OVRManager Quest features. But my app still can't start when headtracking disabled (for example in low light room).I've checked manifest and i see that:<uses-feature android:name="android.hardware.vr.headtracking" android:required="false" android:version="1"/> How to add ability for app to work without headtracking? I see that many apps can work without headtracking but i can't understand how to do it. On this manual https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/unity/unity-ovrcamerarig/#general i see that "Allow Optional 3DoF Head Tracking" must allow this.

I am working on implementing Spatial Anchors in my app. I used this tutorial: Meta Quest Spatial Anchors Tutorial In the tutorial he only shows how to spawn, save and load one prefab, but my app needs different prefabs. I have figured out how to spawn in different prefabs with a Spatial Anchor component, but the saving is the thing I can't figure out. I have tried to find other tutorials, but they all only save one prefab. Any ideas on how to do that or where to find more information on this?Thank you in advance. I can't put the scripts in because they are too long for this post. The scripts are on the Unity Discussion forum:Meta Spatial Anchors saving anchors

Hi, I can't login to the Oculus support center page: https://oculusdevelopers.zendesk.com/hc/en-usWhen I click on "log in with oculus" this pops up for a second (see first image) then it loops back to the login page (second image). Clicking "cancel" reloads the page. FYI I have a dev account and can access the develper dashboard.

I have created a new Unity project. The goal was to create a passthrough project that runs exclusively on Windows PCs. The 3D objects should then be created based on the room data. In its final stage, the game will run on the PC, with the headset used for visualization! However, I encountered an issue that arises with multi-room data. If only one room is stored in the Meta Quest, the problem does not occur. The software I used:Unity 2022.3.53f1VS2022 Community EditionMeta XR All-in-One-SDKFor testing, I used the Blockbuilder function:OVRCameraRigSceneMesh ExperimentalMore information can be found in the images!Has anyone experienced the same issue or can reproduce it?

While using oculus quest link my games were running very badly and I noticed quite quickly that anti-aliasing was most likely the problem. So I go to setting and try to turn it off but when I click it the toggle stays the same. I search for hours but still can’t find a fix.

Hi there, Our new Unity game for Oculus Quest implements Oculus leaderboards using the Platform SDK from the Oculus Integration Unity asset, and it's been submitting and getting highscores just fine until now : we completed the data use checkup in the dev dashboard, and as for the Unity project the Oculus SDK is properly initialized, the user entitlement check passes, highscores are successfully submitted using Oculus.Platform.Leaderboards.WriteEntry(apiName, score, extraData), and leaderboards top and user-centered entries were successfully retrieved using Oculus.Platform.Leaderboards.GetEntries(apiName, 3, Oculus.Platform.LeaderboardFilterType.None, Oculus.Platform.LeaderboardStartAt.Top) and Oculus.Platform.Leaderboards.GetEntries(apiName, 3, Oculus.Platform.LeaderboardFilterType.None, Oculus.Platform.LeaderboardStartAt.CenteredOnViewer) for them to be displayed in game. Now that we are live on App Lab, we are experiencing issues in querying some of our leaderboard en

Hi.This topic might be redundant with the topic of this thread, but with the SDK updated to V62, the useful official documentation provided in the previous thread was deleted, and I can't find an alternative document. Also, the simultaneous hand & controller input has been released as an official feature, not experimental, so I started a new thread. I was able to make simultaneous input work on Quest Pro with SDK57, but it hasn't been successful with V62 & Quest 3 yet. (I sold my Quest Pro!) I confirmed that the feature itself works properly on Quest 3 as well with the demo published on the App Store, Interaction SDK Samples, but it seems that this sample project is not included in the samples for the v62 SDK. Am I missing something? If anyone has any cautions, useful information, or links regarding this matter, please share your knowledge.

Hi there,I'm trying to use MetaXR anchors for my current project. I previously used Unreal 5.1 with PCVR and I could create, save and reload anchors.I am now trying to do the same in an Unreal 5.4 standalone project. My problem is that when I save the anchor, and I reload it with its UUID, it spawns at (0,0,0).Using the logcat from Android Studio, I found out that there were two errors, one pretty seamingless :SP:AF:AnchorFramework: getAnchorUuid can't find anchor for handle 4 And the second one, which I think is the real problem :[XRCMD][failure] [XR_ERROR_SPACE_COMPONENT_NOT_ENABLED_FB]: xrLocateSpace(*(XrSpace*)space, baseSpace, ToXrTime(GetTimeInSeconds()), &spaceLocation), arvr\projects\integrations\OVRPlugin\Src\Util\CompositorOpenXR.cpp:13440 (arvr\\projects\\integrations\\OVRPlugin\\Src\Util/CompositorOpenXR.h:317My blueprint is ugly right now, but here is how I discover and save anchors :

Dear Devs, My app has Rift and Quest support. I've created two applications in dashboard, one for Rift and one of Quest. I've also pasted the app IDs in the Platform and Avatars Settings file in Unity.Added a sample build to Rift application and Quest application and uploaded the build, added test users oculus email ID.The same oculus email ID is being used for the login inside Unity as well.I'm getting the blue default avatar instead of the user's avatar in the Rift Application. Please let me know how to resolve this.  I've also added the Data Usage Checkup => Avatars, User Profile and User ID.Please let me know if anybody has resolved this issue.

After the App Lab and the Main App store were combined, it was then possible to enter keywords as part of the metadata for my app. One of my keywords is “breakout”. When I search for “breakout”, I only get 1 match, and that app is not “Close Encounters” or "Close Encounters Demo". Do the keywords take some period of time to kick in? Also, when I scan the list under Apps->Games->See All, I never see my app. I’m wondering if I have done something wrong.   My app appears to be invisible to the general public!

I want to upload my .apk to the Dashboard, yet it always says:ERROR: Validation identified the following errors:APK is debuggable (android:debuggable in AndroidManifest.xml)I've tried multiple ways: Updated the Oculus Integration package to the latest version (27.0); (not sure why the previous version doesn't have the "Upload Debug Symbols" setting in OVR Platform Tool.)Added android:debuggable = "false" to the AndroidManifest.xml file created from "Oculus->Tools->Create store-compatible AndroidManifest.xml"; (not sure why this attribute is missing in the original file)Created a new Keystore;Change Minify-> Release to Proguard; The backend is Mono and the Debug Symbols Directory is "C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2019.4.11f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\Variations\mono\Release\Symbols\armeabi-v7a";Is there anything else I can do to upload the apk file successfully? Thanks in advance.
